Team Tsunami and the x3 Mission Combo!

After waking up in the early morning, the newly formed Team Tsunami duo went right to the mission boards after eating a hearty breakfast. Without even a glance at the rewards listed, Tally and her new teammate Kira picked three missions to take on. With the sun barely risen, the two Pokemon headed out to Pecha Forest in to complete their trio of missions...


As the sky was illuminated by the low morning sun, a Buizel began walking into the Pecha Forest, with three peices of parchment neatly folded and placed in a pocket of her treasure bag. These papers were three missions that Tally the Buizel and Kira the Riolu had decided to do, now that they were both part of Team Tsunami together.

Tally glanced back behind her, waiting for her partner to show up. They weren't too far from each other, so even if the Buizel went ahead they probably wouldn't get separated. Still, Tally didn't want to leave Kira behind. On any other day and with any other partner she would of, but she wanted to make sure sne was acting like a good and proper rescue team would. A team like that would work and coordinate with each other and wouldn't rush. They'd take their time and mke sure their job was done right.

"Already on it," Kira replied, holding up a pecha berry she had found on the ground. The berry was rather clean, and it seemed as if Tallulah had knocked it out of the tree during her fit of rage. The riolu was casual about things again, since there was no use om continuing to have a grudge when the Zorua was already gone.

It took Mirage a few moments to realize that the duo had NOT followed her. Mirage frowned with a huff, well THAT wasn't any fun! She wanted action, manipulation, FUN! The zorua looked below her, and saw just where she would get her fun from, and grinned maliciously. She just had to time it right, the waiting game was on once more.

"Wow," Tally said, "You're pretty good at finding things. Out of all the items we need for our missions, you've found both." The Buizel took out her Treasure Bag and held it open in front of her partner. "Here. Drop it in here." This find had made her feel a good bit better after losing Mirage in the trees. Tally had to admit that this Outlaw Zorua lived up to her name, as when ever Team Tsunami got close to catching her she was gone. It was infuriating to think about how this vermin could get away with so much over the last few days, but Tally had almost calmed down now and didn't want to be that angry again. She was happy to know that Kira hadn't freaked out at her outburst. She was a good, understanding friend, and Tally wondered what she had done so right to get such a good one at a partner.

Tally had also noticed that it had been quiet while they were with the disguised Mirage. Maybe the wild Pokemon felt uneasy with her in their presence, and thus only a few had interacted with them. Now, however, unbeknownst to Tally, Pokemon were planning to attack with Team Tsunami (and possibly Mirage) in their sights!

While Mirage was no longer around, a certain metapod and a caterpie decided to make an appearance. The two leaped out, the metapod rolled out more than leaping out, as he glared at the pokemon before them. The pokemon had invaded their territory, and although the caterpie family was never usually territorial, lack of food in the area cause this family to band together. When Mirage had looked down, she had seen a butterfree below her. She smirked, and waited for the butterfree to flutter in the right position for her to leap onto its back. She planned to drag the powerful pokemon towards the Riolu and the Buizel, let them handle the problem.

Kira looked at the caterpie and the metapod with a blank stare, the two were obviously under leveled because of their evolution. The two would easily be able to take care of them, especially with Kira's blaze ki-wait...what was the caterpie doing? it reared back its head and shot forth a barrage of string, string shot. Kira found herself tangled in the stuff! Just great...

Tally watched as a Metapod and Caterpie popped out. These we definately not threatening nor a danger to neither Tally nor her partner Kira. The Buizel held back a laugh, but then the Catepie covered Kira with sticky webbing. Tally was about to cut her partner free, but she was hit with the attack and covered even moreso, bonding her arms and tails to her torso. She tried to break free, but the string was much tighter than she thought. In her struggle, Tally fell over and without use of her arms she was unable to get up. She sighed, flustered, as she hoped the Caterpie and Metapod wouldn't do anything particularly painful.

Kira tried to struggle free from the webbing, attempting to use Blaze Kick to burn the web. The attempts were futile, as she needed speed to achieve the attack. The riolu roared in frustration, she saw the Caterpie slowly make its way towards her and attempt to use Tackle attack on her. The riolu growled in rage as a orange aura surrounded her, and she launched herself at the Caterpie as it attacked, using Counter. The Caterpie screeched in pain, but not much since the attack was fairly weak. The riolu waited, as the metapod worried over the caterpie and the two stared at the trapped riolu and buizel, as if trying to decide what fate to curse them with. Kira growled to Tallulah, "Any plans? I can't use blaze kick..."

Mirage meanwhile was still waiting for just the right moment, which finally came when the butterfree fluttered just beneath her. She leaped off the branch and onto the Butterfree's back. She grabbed the antennae of the Butterfree as it fluttered about rapidly, trying to throw off the pokemon that stood atop its back. Mirage was having a rodeo with the butterfree!

Tally could only watch as the Caterpie attacked Kira. She wasn't really worried; its attacks might hurt, but the Buizel was sure that the Caterpie wouldn't leave a dent in her friend's health. "Just wait it out. Worst case scenario, we can roll outta here." Tally heard some commotion not too far from them. She could hear leaves rustling as if a Pokemon was flailing about. Still on the ground, she spotted the source of the noise: there was a struggling Butterfree nearby. And... was that a Pokemon on its back? It only took a second to realize what was going on.

"Kira!! Mirage is back!" Tally said. She couldn't point to it, but the noise of it would likely direct her Riolu partner's attention to the bug and outlaw.

Kira blinked as she turned to see the butterfree flailing and fluttering about, trying to rid itself of a pesky Zorua that had grabbed onto its antennae and seemed to be directing it towards them using the antennae. The riolu began to struggle even more again webbing as the butterfree drew nearer, that pokemon had the possibility of being stronger than them and not to mention the butterfly pokemon were known for their ability to stun, poison, and put their prey to sleep. Kira would loathe having to deal with all of those problems at once.

The zorua finally directed the butterfree towards the team, and leaped off as the butterfree attempted to fly upwards at last to get rid of her. The butterfree was pushed towards the team, and was agitated beyond belief. Mirage snickered, and stayed in the trees to watch the battle. She hoped that the butterfree would see riolu and the buizel and would assume one of them to be the ones that attacked. She also hoped that the unexpected Metapod and Caterpie would have the Butterfree think that they were trying to help the butterfree and had knocked them off.

Tally didn't know what to do as she saw Mirage direct the bucking Butterfree to Kira and herself. She wondered what exactly the outlaw was doing. This was an odd method of attack, and the Buizel didn't have an idea in the slightest in what was going on... At least until the bug released some strange, shining blue powder into the air by flapping its wings (Sleep Powder). The dust dotted the air, and when she inhaled it Tally grew drowsy. Her eyes felt heavy, and she knew she had to resist...

...But... she was all wrapped up, like in a nice, cozy blanket. And it was nice out. It was like sleeping outside! Tally's eyes were almost closed, and her brain began thinking sleepy thoughts. This wasn't good! She had to resist....

Kira had managed to avoid the attack, rolling out of the way and finally tearing herself free of the string shot. She growled in rage and faced the butterfree, ignoring the cocoon like pokemon and the caterpillar pokemon. She focused her sights on the butterfly pokemon that beat its wings at a rapid pace in the air as it glared at her in outrage. The blue bipedal canine like pokemon's eye narrowed as she darted towards it, picking up speed as she ran and leaping into the air, giving a kick aimed for the butterfree as her foot was set ablaze.

Mirage remained in the tree as she observed the riolu attack the butterfree. Mirage noted that the riolu did not seem to notice that her partner, the orange sea weasel, was struck by the sleep powder and seemed to be falling asleep. The zorua sat and observed the chaos she had caused, chuckling as her revenge had begun. Well, part of it. She wasn't finished JUST yet, since she still had plans if the duo somehow managed to pull their way through this mess.

Tally continued to fight drowsiness. She forced her eyes to stay open, in fear that if she were to close them sleep would take her. The powder had mostly settled to the ground, which made the Buizel inhale more of the cursed dust. She couldn't move out of sheer drowsiness, but didn't want to anyway. Struggling would cause her to roll around, and rolling around would just release more Sleep Powder. Tallulah held her breath, but a Tackle from the Caterpie knocked the little breath she had saved out. Gasping for another breath, Tally grew tired again.

Mirage laughed as the buizel was tackled only to inhale the dust once more. The zorua watched in amusement as the butterfree was struck by the attack, and the riolu only just then noticed that her partner was suffering from the dust. She watched the indecisiveness appear in the riolu's once determined face. This was just too good, the waiting game was finished and the result were in. She had won this round.

Kira felt her hind paw connect with the butterfree, sending it higher into the air by accident and placing it out of reach. Kira, having no special attacks, looked to Tallulah for help, only to see the buizel struggling to stand as a sparkling dust surrounded the arena floor around her. She tried to think, should she charge in and grab the buizel or aim for the pokemon attacking her. The riolu decided to try the former, she darted forward towards the buizel, leaving a trail of white behind her. The riolu was attempting to use Quick Attack while holding her breath to run in and grab the buizel and take her a bit farther away from the field. Kira would have been out numbered and the chances would be slim with her partner asleep, and the chances of the buizel getting hurt was too high. Kira wanted to flee.

Tally's mind was being strange right now; she knew it, but it was almost impossible for her to resist the urge to sleep. She couldn't take it anymore; the dust had won. Tally closed her eyes, giving up and letting sleep take her. She knew it was a mistake, she knew she was leaving her partner, but sleeping just felt so good, as if a weight was being lifted...

Then Tally was jolted awake. She felt someone pick her up... Tally opened her eyes again with a little struggle. Kira had picked her up and was carrying her away! Now that she was out of proximity with the Sleep Powder, the Buizel was growing less drowsy by the second. There was hope for them yet! "T-thank you, Kira," Tally managed to say. "You can... put me down anywhere. Also, help me out of this string, if you can..."

Kira stopped and set the buizel down, helping her free of the string by ripping it off, "I sure wish I was pure fire type right then, then I could have just burned this stupid thing off without needing speed," The riolu huffed in annoyance as she placed her hands on her side. She relaxed once more and looked back to where the butterfree, metapod, and caterpie had been, "I guess they did not follow us for some reason...perhaps we stepped out of their turf?"
The riolu had not seen the zorua zoom in the butterfree, and had assumed that it joined the ambush soon after they were trapped.

Mirage watched as the two fled, the riolu carrying the buizel in a bundle of silk string. Mirage began to burst with laughter, rolling on the tree branch and falling off. Still, she did not care. It was just to funny to see them run like that! The Zorua finally got over her fit of laughter, wiping a tear away with a paw and looked up to see a enraged butterfree along with a rather confused, but still angry Metapod and Caterpie, "Oh sh*t..." she spoke.

"Thanks, Kira," Tally said, getting up once she was freed from the sticky string. She shook a little, getting the leftover thread off. "Whatever the reason, it's not our problem now. Shall we continue? We still have plenty of missions left to complete. There's been way to many detours to really work on why we're here."

The Buizel was about to check if her treasure bag had any string on it... When she realized it wasn't there. "Uhh... Kira..? Do you have the bag?"

Kira looked around, hoping that she had just recently dropped it. The riolu's eyes widened and she gave a sheepish smile as she shrugged, "No."
She wondered if they had dropped it along the way, the riolu looked over her shoulder and spoke, "We'll have to go back...won't we?" with a sigh, not really wanting to deal with Mirage and company. Though they HAD to get their items back, they had already gotten two pecha berries, they couldn't afford to lose them as far as she knew!

Mirage's eyes flicked away from the butterfree and company towards a strange sack on the ground. It was the sack the buizel had been carrying, she smirked, forming an idea. She tensed up now and then, as if she were about to bolt and take a quick step forward before taking one back. This caused the pokemon to move as if they were going to chase her before realizing she didn't run and looked back. She faked them out a few more times before actually running for the bag, their reaction delayed as they thought she was just faking. She managed to pick up the bag with a malicious laughter and dart into the forest...
