» Likes: Taking charge (Or more so charging in) – Jabbers favors a more so “heads-on” approach when it comes to tackling problems. He isn’t one who likes to lag behind others and instead prefers to leave nifty dust-trails that they can follow

Talking – Now although he is far from a smooth talker, Jabbers still likes to talk. Albeit his mout- err beak can sometimes still be a little too “big” for its own good

Challenges – Jabbers was never one to back down, even if the odds aren’t too good. He just can’t stand standing around whilst being berated, provoked, taunted, or generally challenged. Jabbers is continuously on the search for new and more difficult goals that he can accomplish, if just too have something to brag or boast about. Above all, he loves the satisfying feeing he gets when he goes and defies all expectations

» Dislikes: Slowpokes – Not the Pokémon of the same name, although they kind of do fall under this category. Jabbers’ fast-paced nature leads him to loathe those who stand idle by whilst something wrong is taking place or are otherwise slow-paced in their approach to solving problems. Jabbers wasn’t fast enough once but never again and he won’t let others drag him down without a fight

Dwelling – As an ever-moving, ever-progressing Pokémon, Jabbers prefers to look towards the future and not the past. He firmly believes that dwelling on the past will only hinder progress and as such the past is a touchy topic for him

Failing – There is nothing Jabbers hates more (at least as a figure of speech) then failing anything he does or says he will do. The topic of failure, that of others as well as himself, makes him uncomfortable, as it usually relates to dwelling

» Personality: Jabber isn’t the most…stable Torchic. He can be very hyperactive, especially more so than his siblings, and this is a trait he takes pride. He always felt he was different from most Torchic, as once he gets started, he tends to be difficult to stop. That being said, Jabbers is very playful as well as competitive, and as such is regarded as difficult to manage

» History: With a Combusken as a mother and Jolteon as a father, Jabbers was an odd case. His parents liked living life “in the fast lane” and were part of a Rescue Team notable for its record timing in missions. However, they tended to spend more time in duty than they did with Jabbers and his siblings, who were often left in the care of his father’s cousin who was an Umbreon. It was at his Uncle’s that Jabbers’ met his first rival and challenge, his cousin Emil (a Snivy). Whilst his siblings seemed to slow and boring to the hyperactive Torchic, his cousin was just as competitive and the two would often challenge each other, whether in battle or various other activities that took place. After one particular boast about his speed, Jabbers’ was dared to deliver a berry to parents…who were currently on a job, after which he was to race back in an allotted time period. He was required to bring back some form of proof the task was accomplished as well. Racing off like never before, Jabbers brought back the only proof he could find: The Pokémon that needed to be rescued as a part of his parents’ mission. However, his parents never returned, and Jabbers refused to speak of what happened, and records of the mission weren’t anywhere to be found. Although foul play was suspected, no one knew what happened, only that Jabbers lost a little bit of his chirp that day
