| First topic message reminder :There was a small splash as a golden shape made a flip from the land into the waters of the sea. The golden shape was a fish, a Magikarp to be exact on matter of species. He relished the feel of water completely enveloping him, the temperature was cool and perfect for his species. He moved his tail fins and propelled himself forward, eager to reach the Coral Forest which was said to have items that held the potential to make one appear stronger than before. The fish was desperate for that kind of item, though he already had a light pink ribbon wrapped around him just bast the yellow spikes and jest before his tail fin began.
The ribbon was a Joy Ribbon, he had found it on his first day in Grassveil, a seemingly frustrated Archen had tossed it along with some boxes he had gotten appraised. He decided to hide the items away somewhere near Grassveil under a bush. It was a pain to get them there though, since he had to wrap the ribbon around it using only his mouth and flopping about. Proteus decided to try to never keep fragile things with him since they would probably get damaged. At least until he received a secure bag that prevented things from breaking in it of some sort.
Proteus was the name of this small fish like pokemon, his name meaning "The Old Man of the Sea". His parents had named him that in hopes that he would be more wise in decisions and giving advice, seeing as they saw old age as wisdom. The magikarp gave terrible advice though, and often got himself into trouble with everything. Proteus didn't mean to give such terrible advice though, he doesn't even realize he's giving such advice since he full heatedly believes it.
He swam into the depths of the sea, noticing the coral's beautiful colors begin to stand out against the seabed in different colors of the world. He was not interested in the beauty of it though, since he didn't have enough knowledge to really appreciate such things. He instead swam towards the colorful reef, searching underneath the tall, the short and the thick for anything that could be like the rumored item that could allow him to become strong enough to leap over even waterfalls like the eldest in his school. Currently, he was so weak that even a slight push in the water current would send him miles away, or until the current ended.
Proteus was overcome with dread when he felt something begin to pull at him, yet push him at the same time. The magikarp screamed as he was suddenly dragged and tossed about by the currents. He was tossed about to and for, some currents leading up and then flowing into another current that dragged him back down again. It was quite a while until he reached still water again, but by this time he was completely dizzy and floating upside down. He would have looked like a golden piece of sushi gifted to them by the gods to any predators nearby since he was out in open sea with the coral forest just below him.
His dazed state finally disappeared and he found that he was upside down and in open waters. He gave a small cry of fear before diving back into the cover of the tall coral where there was less of a chance to be spotted by predators thanks to his bright golden color giving him some kind of camouflage. He wondered if there were any friendly pokemon out in this area. [Dear god 602 words...*shrugs* eh i've typed longer..] | |

| "W-wait!" called Serenne, trying to stop the golden Magikarp from going after the Buizel. She was unsuccessful and soon the Buizel was hurtling straight towards them. With a squeak, Serenne attempted to hide in the coral, however with Proteus' shouting, that seemed impossible. With a little hesitation, the Feebas looked from Proteus and back to the Buizel still coming towards them. Not seeing another option, she used Dragon Pulse, the purple beam shooting through the water and hitting the Buizel head on. | |

| Proteus watched as the buizel was struck with a strange beam of power as the pokemon screamed in fury and pain. When the attack finished the Buizel looked towards the direction the beam had been fired. It seemed confused though, as if it couldn't see the Feebas. The Dragon Pulse had struck its eye, causing it to be temporarily blinded because of the bright light. The magikarp decided to make a diversion for the feebas and thrashed about in the water, so the Weasel like pokemon would feel his thrashing in the water and began to chase after the Magikarp as he retreated into a bush of hard coral that the magikarp managed to get through with a few scratches. The weasel hadn't seen it and swam directly into it. - This dice is not existing.

| Swimming directly into the harder coral, the Buizel had injured it's head. Not wanting to chase the Magikarp any further and risk being injured more it turned and swam upwards, heading for the open water above the coral forests where there was no possibility of swimming into anything but another Pokemon. Being a smaller fish than the Magikarp(0.6m to Proteus' 0.9 o.O) Serenne swam after him, dodging the coral's hard branches and catching up with Proteus. In doing so, she spotted something buried in the sand near the base of one such piece of coral. Digging it out she found it to be another TM Water Pulse. "Proteus, I found another TM," she smiled handing the mysterious item to the golden Magikarp , "Though it's probably be best if you keep it since I have no use for it..." | |

| Proteus was getting slightly scratched and damaged by the coral, since it was a bit more difficult for him to navigate. He did not question the Feebas's statement about the TM and simply pocketed the TM, the tm clinked with the other one that was similar to it. Maybe I could sell it... He thought. He smiled at the thought, Maybe it could bring in some big money! he thought some more. His fascination in the wonders of money returned for a brief moment as he zoned out, forgetting where he was and who the feebas was for a brief second before returning to reality, "O-Oh, sorry! What were you saying?" he asked politely. | |

| Serenne blinked, "Oh, nothing. We should be safe from Buizel here. I think it swam away. It might be a good area to look for those seeds too," she smiled. The Feebas then turned her attention to the seabed. There could be thousands of items lost in time below the soft sands of the ocean floor. After all, where would you know to dig in such a vast expanse? Upon glancing around, Serenne didn't have to select a place to dig however, as there was an item of some description trapped between two lower coral branches. The Feebas swam over to investigate them. - This dice is not existing.

| A pink flowing ribbon hung in the coral, a light from the surface had somehow managed to shine on it, as if it was a gift from the heavens to the small fish pokemon. The magikarp made his way to the side of the pokemon's new item to inspect it. It was similar to his ribbon he was wearing and using partially as a bag! "Wow, you can find these down here!?" he said with amazement. He still didn't know much about this land. He became giddy with excitement, a new discovery! Maybe they would find more! More would be good, more than good! More would be fantastic. More would be what the magikarp wanted. He splashed about in the water, accidentally using his move and stirring up the sand around them. Something floated in his face, "Huh?" he wondered. - This dice is not existing.

| Serenne gently teased the fabric from the branches of the coral with her blue fins. Blinking she commented, "Pink... not really my colour," with a chuckle, before swimming down to find Proteus. The golden Magikarp seemed to have found some Geo Pebbles. Serenne couldn't help but wonder how they had gotten down here, but then again how did anything get down here in the ocean. Swimming over to Proteus she held the pink ribbon out, "Do you think you could help me tie this on?" she asked him, being unable to reach with her own fins. - This dice is not existing.

| The magikarp nodded happily, before grabbing onto the thread with his mouth and swimming in quick circles around the Feebas's head. The ribbon was soon tightly wrapped around Serenne's fin and showed no signs of coming off unless someone forced it off. Proteus was happy to help, after all this pokemon was helping him in receiving the strange seeds that would help him become stronger. Also the pokemon had saved him from the buizel, by possibly blinding it for life but that didn't quite matter to Proteus. The magikarp finished and swam a small distance away to get a look at the feebas, "Looks great!" it looked ridiculous... - This dice is not existing.

| Serenne chuckled in reply, not minding exactly how it looked at all. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though she did appreciate the Magikarp's attempt to compliment. "Thanks," she smiled before moving on, "Anyhow we should get back to searching for those seeds of yours. I'm guessing no luck in the sand?" The Feebas herself had spotted a Blue Gummi and after getting the Magikarp's answer, she promptly fetched it from the sea floor below and began munching on it, the sweet food item too tempting to hold off on. | |

| Proteus meanwhile, had found yet another Geopebble. It appeared to be useless currently, and the golden fish saw nothing of importance about it, or value. He tossed the two rocks he had found and continued on. He envied his friend which had found another one of those gummis that the buizel had been eating. He wanted a piece, but figured he would find one of his own eventually. The magikarp spoke, "So, umm..." Proteus was desperate for something to do as they looked. He remembered back when he was just a guppy, when ever he had complained that he was bored his mother would suggest a game, "How about we play a game to pass the time while we search?" | |

| "Sure!" grinned the Feebas, finishing the Gummi but feeling slightly guilty that she hadn't thought to share it with her new Magikarp friend, "What sort of game did you have in mind?"Serenne continued to search through the nearby coral branches as she spoke, listening intently for Proteus' answer. She also found yet another item and found herself wondering if bird Pokemon dropped some of these things in the ocean by accident when they flew overhead... - This dice is not existing.

| "Hm...there was this one game, I forgot what it was called, but basically what you do is you say a name of a pokemon or object, then you take the last letter of the word and the other person has to find a word for it that begins with that letter. The same words cannot be used twice!" The Magikarp grew slightly excited by the game, giving a few swirls in the water and stirring up sand from the seabed below once more. He waited for the sand to settle before speaking again, "How about you begin? Ladies first!" he smiled before noticing something caught in the coral close by. - This dice is not existing.

| "Okay then," smiled Serenne, picking up the Corsola Spike that she had spotted within the coral's pastel coloured branches. She kept a hold of it in one fin, using her tail to continue propelling herself through the water, and her other fin to help change direction. "How about Corsola for the first word then?" she smiled, taking inspiration from the spike she still carried. | |

| "Um...Absol" he spoke, it was difficult to choose from the many possibilities. So he just picked the first thing that came to his mind. He knew of the pokemon's so called ability to bring disasters, though he didn't quite believe in it. He meanwhile had found yet another Geo Pebble. He decided to ignore it as he did with the others, no point in picking them up since they'll just be running from the other pokemon they encountered here right? - This dice is not existing.

| "Luvdisc," replied the Feebas with a smile. It was an almost immediate response due to the heart shaped Pokemon living in this specific area. Serenne glanced over to the Magikarp to see that he'd found a seed on the ocean floor. "Are those what you're after?" she asked, pointing to it with her free fin. The seed wasn't just plain pale brown like a normal seed, in fact it had a neat swirling pattern upon it, making it look rather unique. - This dice is not existing.
