"Where am I!?" Auctor lost in Ice?

A lone Corphish wandered around the Icy wasteland aimlessly, the nip in the air making him restless and his teeth chatter "W-who needs a m-map anyway" Auctor joked to himself as he snapped his claws sub consciously hoping to help himself keep warm "Th-this is NOT G-grassveil" He scuttled around a bit more, tripping over a rock protruding out of the ground. Quickly he recovered looking around wildly "Phew... no one saw me"

"Thanks Tway, really need it" He grinned back and took the Apple in his pincer, taking a bit of it as he walked "Wish I was as nimble as you, my biggest weakness is probably how clumsy and slow I am" He noted bluntly to himself "And even in my natural envornment I'm slower than the rest, heh I don't have many uses do I?" Auctor chuckled at himself as he took another chunk of the Apple

"You're welcome," she smiled, hopping into another tree. She stopped however as the Corphish began to put himself down. He seemed to laugh good-naturedly at it... but no one could feel good describing their own weaknesses.
"The best thing to do is focus on what you're good at," blinked Twayblade, "Not your weaknesses or the things that others can do better than you."

"Yeah I guess you're right, although I'm mostly close combat and I need to be fast to get up close..." He chuckled and just as he was about to trip noticed something in front of him "A-ha! Not getting me this time! Damn apples, Tway you gotta be careful knocking these down!" He put the box down and picked the apple up "You want this one? I'm full for now anyway" He tossed it up, catching it in his pincer softly

"Maybe it'd be worth finding something to increase your speed then, like a Quick Seed or something. That way you can play on your strengths more," blinked Twayblade, removing her paws from the branch she'd just shaken to dislodge the apple from it.
"Sorry," she chuckled as Auctor told her to be more careful. She was used to harvesting apples without anyone else around so it was natural for her to just shake them down if she couldn't reach them.

"If you're sure you don't want it," she smiled, clambering down a few branches so Auctor could pass it to her without having to throw it.

"Nope I'm okay with it, it don't take a lot to fill me up" He extended his pincer towards Twayblade, but just as he was about to hand it to her it got swept out of his hand, and the thing that took it ran past them and stopped behind them, looking back at them with a furrowed brow and an angry expression "i'm really sick of these god damn pokemon in this god damn forest!" Auctor turned to Twayblade "No offence"

Twayblade blinked, "Uh... none taken?"
She was unsure how to reply and so quickly moved on, scrambling back up into the tree branches and looking down to see who had stolen their apple. It was a Froslass. Not just any Froslass, but a bandit that operated only in the icy areas surrounding Icicle Woods.
"Kali," hissed Twayblade. It may have only been an apple that she stole this time, but the Froslass would often take more valuable objects from explorers or traders, sometimes even the locals if she felt like it.

"Kali? Cool name" Auctor chuckled at his pun "A bit cold-hearted to steal my apple dont ya think?" He got up on his feet in a swift recovery "Why a ghost type? Now all I can do is this" Auctor shot a short burst of bubbles towards the ice pokemon, seeing as that's the only other move he knew for now anyway, he really hoped to gain another move any time soon but he doubted that, the next move he gets according to his sensei is a normal type move which would NOT help against froslass

"I can do whatever I want. It's a free forest," replied Kali, her voice having an eerie quality to it. The Froslass held the apple daintily in one hand, using the other to release an Astonish attack, the click of her tiny fingers startling Auctor and Twayblade. The Astonish also popped Auctor's bubble attack with the resulting soundwaves, Kali laughing in sharp eerie tones.

Twayblade frowned, covering her ears at the Astonish.
"Auctor it's fine i've had apples stolen before, but she's too strong for us to attack. I really think we should leave.... whilst we still can..."

Auctor gritted his teeth at the sound of Tway proposing a retreat "Fine then... but remember the name Auctor! Because I'll be coming for your bounty one day!" He shouted as he made a hasty retreat with Twayblade, scuttling away while making sure to turn around one more time to see her face "I won't let her get away with this... and any further crimes she commits" He mutters, not used to retreating from a fight so quickly

"Yea well.. just leave her for now. She's one of the strongest pokemon in the forest so she's the type you kinda don't wanna get in a fight with," replied Twayblade, hopping through the trees and leaving the Froslass to munch on her stolen apple. It pained her that she could do nothing to stop the greedy Froslass, even though this was her home. She sighed quietly, wishing once again that she were stronger.

"We couldn't hit her anyway, when I get stronger I promise to come back here and handle her, hows that sound?" Auctor looked up to the Treecko and smiled, he was enjoying the company of Twayblade and wanted to help her out "Thats what friends are for! Right?" He smirked and continued keeping up to the same speed as Treecko, finding it good training for his speed and agility "Maybe when we evolve we can take her"

"Maybe," replied Twayblade, her expression remaining neutral however as she traversed the icy branches of the forest in thought. Lost in thought, the Treecko nearly hopped straight into another branch, however it caught her attention at the last moment and instead she grabbed a hold of it, hanging from it like a large leaf cloaked in dark blue. Clambering back up she called down to Auctor.
"How about a rest stop eh? I doubt Kali would follow us this far."

"Yeah lets hope, sure a rest wouldn't be that bad right now" Auctor sat down onto the cold snow below him "So how far till Grassveil? Not long i'm guessing" He created small bubbles idly as he talked, watching them float off and pop against a few of the trees. He had somehow gotten used to the cold by now, he didn't enjoy it sure, but it didn't bother it as much as it did when he first entered the icy woods

"We're getting nearer the edge of the forest. But you'll still have to follow the river before you actually reach Grassveil," replied Twayblade. "Here it's frozen, but the travelers that come through here say that the river becomes less frozen the closer you get to Grassveil. Only I think it's unfrozen completely a long while before you actually reach the town because of how far away it is from here."
The Treecko explained to Auctor how far he would have to go once they parted company, whilst swiftly climbing down from the tree branches to sit with him on the ground as they rested their feet.

"Well how far are you willing to escort me?" Auctor placed his pincers besides him "It's okay if you don't w- Owwww!" He jumped up to see what he had rested his pincer on, a pile of Iron Thorns "Stupid forest and it's stupid items" He waved his claw in pain and sat back down. The forest was slowly ever so slowly getting to him "This forest is so cold hearted I tell ya" He chuckled at his own pun while making sure not to put his pincer anywhere unwanted as to not hurt himself
