"Where am I!?" Auctor lost in Ice?

First topic message reminder :

A lone Corphish wandered around the Icy wasteland aimlessly, the nip in the air making him restless and his teeth chatter "W-who needs a m-map anyway" Auctor joked to himself as he snapped his claws sub consciously hoping to help himself keep warm "Th-this is NOT G-grassveil" He scuttled around a bit more, tripping over a rock protruding out of the ground. Quickly he recovered looking around wildly "Phew... no one saw me"

Twayblade made a mental note. Apparently the Corphish wouldn't stoop so low as to take a downed Pokemon's possessions, at least that she could agree with. Maybe Auctor wasn't so bad...
"I wear this cloak to keep me warm... that and I've never known anything else because I was born here," she replied, walking across the snow with ease.

"Man I could use one of them, keep me nice and snug" Auctor nodded to himself as he made it along the thick blanket of white "So why not just train at Grassveil might I ask? Or are you just testing your limits training in a place where your weaknesses lay?"
Auctor thought back to his training with Sensei Bibarel, his move was never taught to him to help himself, it was to help any of his friends or teammates that had such a weakness, no friends would be a pokemons greatest weakness

"No... it's just i'm more used to it here because I was born here. I'd rather train myself in a place i'm familiar with. That and i'm unsure about going to Grassveil because it's so different to here. What if I just don't fit in you know?" she replied, "Plus I don't know what I want to do with my life. So far all I seem to be good at is leading people through the forest I call home, and I don't wanna be the Icicle Forest tour guide for the rest of my life."

Auctor stopped and turned on his feet, looking Twayblade dead in the eyes "Then go to Grassveil, I might not fit in and think about it Grassveil is the hub for pokemon"  He snapped his claws open and shut idly "Plus Grass is in its name, you'll fit in and even if you don't there'll be other pokemon who don't fit in too, and you can hang out with them"

"I guess... but I don't plan on leaving right away anyhow. I'll stick around here for a while and continue to train before I actually go there. Maybe then i'll find my purpose, but until then I don't feel like I'm strong enough," replied Twayblade, breaking eye contact with Auctor and walking ahead, still leading the Corphish along the main snowy pathway of the forest. She walked for a short while longer before stopping on the edge of the path.
"If we cut through here we'll be a bit quicker getting to the river," explained Twayblade, leading the Corphish through the snow. The Treecko wandered forward before selecting a tree and clambering up into it's branches. She would use this vantage point to keep an eye out for some of the more hostile Pokemon of the forest.

Auctor looked around carefully at the ground around him hoping not to make a fool of himself and trip over as he nearly always does in any situation, and before he trips over such a thing he spots a item covered in a soft lump of snow.
Auctor rushed to it and dug it out with his pincers and picked up the item under the snow "Keep finding more and more in this forest huh?"

"Explorers tend to come into this area, it's possible they lose some of their belongings, especially when a team ends up being defeated by the local Pokemon," Twayblade called down to the Corphish, giving him an answer to an unasked question. The Treecko climbed nimbly through the trees, occasionally knocking down small piles of snow which found their new home back down on the ground.

"Hmm some weird lookin' box, I'll keep it for now" Auctor held it in his pincers as he followed the Treecko, keeping his eye on her as without her he was lost again "Really hope that Aron don't come back, actually let it, it was a fun spar" He let out a chuckle as he kept his head up to look for Twayblade

"It'll sleep for a while, so it likely won't catch us up anyway," replied Twayblade as she hopped across t a neighboring branch. The Treecko then nimbly scrambled along it, climbing up the tree's trunk to get higher before moving along to another branch.

It was a short while before they encountered another Pokemon. This time it was a Vanillite who had been in one of the threes, hiding itself from the world in an attempt to catch some shut-eye. Twayblade had woken it as she clambered through the trees and it had pursued them quietly. It was only when it fired Icicle Spears at the duo that Twayblade realised they were being tailed. She stopped her climbing and turned back to get a look at their attacker.

Auctor fired a stream of bubbles to deflect the Icicle's thrown at him, destroying the ones aimed at their direction before firing some more at the Vanillite's direction "Damnit long range is not my forte!" He continues to shoot bubbles at the enemy while scuttling from side to side with an angry expression "Why are they hardly any nice pokemon anymorE?"

Twayblade leaped over to another branch, preparing to use Pound on the Vanillite that was attacking, but then she hesitated, realising that she'd seen this Vanillite before.
"Alsius? Is that you?" asked Twayblade, letting her guard down as she squinted her eyes to identify the Vanillite through the ice and snow covered branches.
"You're terrible. I thought you'd moved up onto the mountain," Twayblade commented, her features creasing into a small frown as the Vanillite revealed himself. She stood upright on her branch with her arms crossed.

"I'm sorry Twayblade, I didn't know it was you..." he squeaked. Twayblade rolled her eyes.
"Alright Alsius, just get outta here. I don't want you attacking random strangers again. They'll only start sending exploration teams here to calm you down and then the whole forest will be in complete attack-mode. You know how it is."
Alsius nodded ad turned to leave, "I'll see you around..."
And with that he was gone, hopping away through the trees with slightly less dignity than how Twayblade did. With a small sigh the Treecko glanced down at the Corphish.
"Sorry about that Auctor. Old friend. Needs to keep a lid on his temper if you ask me."

"No problem I guess, but he's a lil hot headed for his own good don't ya think?" Auctor continued pacing along the snow "I'll try and remember his face if I return here, wouldn't wanna get in a fight with a friends friend" He said nonchalantly and walked in the direction they were walking before the small interruption "I might knock him out cold next time if I don't remember him"

Twayblade nodded, "That'd probably be a good call. Some of the ice pokemon from around here are familiar with one another so if you attack one of them they all kinda get offended. It's terrible for traders and explorers, but what can you do?"
The Treecko began to move swiftly through the trees again, leading the Corphish through the forest whilst she spoke.

The Corphish fell face first over something, and landed in the snow "Goddamnit... not again!" His voice muffled by the snow he turned back to see the Apple laying on the cold ground "Damn nature out to get me..." He got back on his six feet and picked the Apple up "Hungry Twayblade?" Auctor asked holding it up to the Treecko, he was hungry himself sure but he could handle himself for now anyway

Twayblade chuckled from where she had just shaken the apple off of a tree branch, snow accompanying it's fall to the ground where the Corphish had proceeded to trip over it.
"Nah i'm fine. I dunno how these hardy little apples grow here but they do. I can easily find another one if I want something to eat," she grinned, "You have it. I'm pretty sure ground travel through thick snow is a lot more exhausting than my pathway."
