Personality: Nicholas is a child at heart. Because of this, his head hasn't quite caught up to his physical age yet. This isn't to say he has no maturity at all. The bird still has child like fantasies and behaves with a child like innocence though.  Nicholas is kind, generous, and loyal to his friends, always willing to lend a wing and help out. Nicholas' always seen with his lucky goggles, which he got as a gift from his father just before he started his travels.

History: Nicholas was raised in some far away mountains. His life wasn't all too bad, though he was picked on a little often by others. He tried to stand up for himself, but in the end it was just a losing battle. At the same time though, this also resulted in making friends as they saw the poor Delibird and decided to help him out. These Pokemon consisted of a Machop, a Geodude, and a Cubchoo. Nick was grateful for this help and befriended these Pokemon. The trio trained up the Delibird so he could defend himself some day. Nicholas never got very strong, but he did manage to build up speed and mobility. The training was short however as the Pokemon he befriended soon decided to go on journeys away from the mountains. They each had a separate reason. Though sad, Nick wished them luck as they left. After some thinking, the Delibird decided to leave the mountain as well. His parents objected to this idea at first, but Nick eventually convinced them to let him go. His father gave Nick some goggles and advised him to remember his roots. Nicholas wasn't sure what that meant, but he kept it in mind. So Nick flew off to go out into the world, hoping that this time around, he would get to play hero. He eventually found himself in Grassveil Town.
