Going up the Mountain Going down the Mountain!

A blue shape that walked on two legs approached the mountains, she had traveled a long ways to get here. Her breathe wasn't heavy and she wasn't tired due to her fighting type. She smiled at memories of previous adventures before continuing onto the mountain, last time she had gone through the caves, now she planned to go up the mountain. The riolu's name was Kira. She ignored the rocks digging into her feet as she searched for a path up the mountain, she found none. She frowned a bit and decided to wait a bit before continuing anyways, rushing into things was never a good idea, but the temptation of treasure nearly caused her to fling herself up the mountain and climb up carelessly. Her stomach growled again and she grew a bit annoyed, she had eaten just a bit ago. She ignored her stomach's groans and wondered if she would meet any nice pokemon today, she half hoped she would find someone to travel with.

A lone small figure climbed up the mountain, gripping onto the small rocks on her way. She knew this was stupid, she knew that the smallest mistake could be fatal, but this was training. She had heard that there was something here that would well... it would make her a lot stronger, so she had to find it. Eve continued up the mountain, shaking her head to get the specks of snow out of her hair, and she noticed a dark blue among the white canvas "A pokemon! But... is it evil?" She tapped into its thought, not sensing evil but knowing the pokemon had a goal "Hey! Over here!" She shouted through the blizzard to the stranger

Kira heard a voice in the wind, she checked her senses to see what looked like a ralts struggling in the blizzard. She hesitated, but went to the figure, it was easier for her to climb up the mountain since she was a fighting type. "Need some help?" she called, offering her paw to the ralts. She didn't like the fact that it was a psychic pokemon, and if this were a trick the pokemon could throw her off the edge of the mountain. She pushed the thoughts aside, if she wanted to be in a rescue team she had to help pokemon, not suspect them of attacking her. She waited to see if the ralts would accept her offer of help, she wondered what a ralts was doing in a place like this anyways, at least without someone to help them out.

Eve knew she had no bad intentions from her thoughts, so she took her hand as she used the grip to climb the small ledg "Thank you... I'm Eve... may I ask your name?" Eve took a few short breaths, enjoying the small break. She had been sweating from the climb and tried to stay on her feet, in case they got ambushed at any point, she was still looking around for that something that would make her more powerful, it was what was letting her carry on, and she hoped her new companion would help too

"Kira I'm here to look for treasure...what are you doing here?" she asked. She hoped she wasn't being too nosy, but she was curious as to why this ralts was scaling the mountain. "Looking for something?" she asked, that was the only reason she could think of to go to the mountain. That was the reason she herself came to the mountain. She shivered a bit as a cold wind gusted by with a trail of tiny snow flakes that struck her, it felt like icicle forest all over again for her! She wished that more places had moderate temperatures, everywhere was either too hot or too cold. She turned her attention back to the ralts in search of her answer.

"A... treasure of sorts.. I've heard of something that can teach me a power... something that can make me a LOT stronger" Eve smiled at her new companion, she really hoped they would both find what they were looking for, just as she thought that, she noticed something ahead of them "Look over there... " She was about to climb ahead when a presence approached them, with a angry glare "Oh no...."

A spearow flew past them and snatched the Special Scarf that lie just ahead of them, it cawed as it flew in a circle to face the duo. It cawed again and leered at the two with hate, it them dove at Kira and used Peck!
The spearow pecked at Kira, which caused her to nearly fall off the edge of the mountain. She kept her balance by using Blaze Kick on the spearow, who screeched in pain and flew away from the riolu. She hugged the side of the mountain out of fright of what would have happened if she hadn't used the spearow to get back her balance. She would have fallen down...down...down...and then splat, no more Kira. She shivered again and glared at the spearow, getting a thirst for revenge.

"What the-" Just as Eve was about to reach for the band a bird flew in and snatching it "Kira! Are you okay?" She turned from Kira to the spearow "I'm not going to let someone else... i'm not going to lose someone else" She muttered under her breath before her eyes begun glowing, and a gloomy ray was sent towards the spearow as Eve gripped onto the mountain, worrying about her own and Kira's safety, they had to end this quickly before things got ugly

The spearow was hit by the gloomy ray, it screeched as it rammed itself into a rock, confused. It shook it's head and started diving and attack wildly, it darted towards Eve only to receive a Blaze Kick in it's face. The spearow screeched in pain but continued to try and peck at Eve.
"Tough one isn't it?" Kira said before leaping away from one of it's wild attacks. She tottered at the edge of the ledge once more, at this point she wished she had wings like the spearow. She could just fly around instead of trying to keep her footing. She screamed as she fell over the edge, she caught her self and was able to pull herself up. The spearow tried to peck at her again but she ducked and managed to grab the scarf, the spearow didn't have the smarts to let go and was dragged back to the riolu, who ducked. The spearow flew towards Eve once more.

Eve gritted her teeth and ducked, watching the brid fly into a rock but shaking its head before diving towards eve again "Darnit..." Eve thought outloud, sending another confuse ray its way, it took it but kept the dive going, hitting Eve but turned around to aim for Kira. Eve was not in a good situation, she was dangling off the edge with one hand and reaching for something to grab onto with the other "Th-this isn't good... not at all" She gulped, feeling her demise closing in on her

Kira used another blaze kick on the spearow before running to Eve's aid. The spearow followed after her, it tried to peck at her eyes but Kira had used her paws to keep it at a distance. She held the spearow back, and couldn't move to help Eve. Her tail lowered to be just within reach of Eve, "Grab it!" she called as she struggled with the spearow. She was surprised at how strong the spearow was. She felt sweat drop from her forehead from the situation, she waited to feel a tug on her tail. She would then hurl the Spearow off the mountain and drag the ralts up onto the ledge. She didn't care if spearow could come back, it would probably be finished soon anyways.

Eve instanstly grabbed on with her small hands, her hands were sweaty which almost mader her lose grip. With her other hand she still held on to the sledge, bits of rock falling off as her hand barely kept her grip. How could all this come from one spearow? "Next time we're not fighting a flying type!" She muttered in anger at the feathery fiend

Kira pivoted around as she threw the spearow off the mountain and dragged Eve onto the ledge. She yelped at the pull on her tail, she had forgotten that her plan would cause her pain. She ignored it as she watched the spearow sail into the air from her throw, it recovered itself and flew in a loop and screeched as it charged towards her. She didn't move from her spot as the Spearow flew closer and closer, aiming for a peck to her forehead. It would've been a super effective critical hit that could have left Kira in bad condition, if the spearow hadn't been confused and instead flew over her and crashed into a rock, causing it to shatter. The spearow groaned and fell to the ground, the rock that shattered caused a small rock slide that revealed an item ahead. She gave the special scarf to Eve, "I don't need this, you take it."

"Th-thanks... and ofcours i'll take it" Eve took the band and wrapped it around her waist "Wow... that was amazing by the way Kira... and thank you a thousand times over... if it wasn't for you.." She looked down towards the bottom, not seeing the ground sent a shudder throughout her body "Thanks again... and anyway, I think there's something over there" she walked slowly over towards the rocks and took a item out of the rubble of rocks "Hmm a max elikir, want it?"

"I could use that about now.."Kira panted, she had used Blaze kick a lot in the fight, and it wore her out. She drank the elixir and felt instantly better, "Thanks, and it's no problem." Kira smiled. She sighed in relief and looked up, they had a long way to go. "We better keep climbing, pokemon would probably be attracted to the noise I just caused." she stood up and turned to the ralts, "Do you want to come with me or go on your own?" she asked, "It'd be better to travel in bigger groups." she mumbled. She actually just wanted some company to come with her on her trip, and if they were both looking for something they could find it faster together.
