Acro is Lost....

A brown shape flashed through the leaves as it hopped from tree to tree. It stopped when it was utterly lost, "Strange.."the shape spoke, "I could of sworn this was the way to that Monochrome Falls i've been hearing about." He ruffled his feathers and dropped to the ground. He was an Archen, and his name was Acro. He had recently begun exploring without his partner George the Buizel recently. He thought of himself as more adventurous than the buizel. He had heard a rumor about a waterfall in the forest, and he wanted to see it. He looked around his surroundings to find himself surrounded by tall trees, he realized something. He, was lost. He could have sworn he knew these woods like the back of his hand by now, but no. He had found himself in an entirely new area, and not only was he lost but he hadn't even found what he was looking for! He huffed in frustration and tried to remember where he had come from and where he should go.

Acro unleashed his steel wing on the Swadloon as soon as it began to spit silk. He clashed with the swadloon only to get strung up in the string too. He fell to the ground and found that he couldn't move! He struggled against the silk with all of his might and found that the silk was slowly ripping apart. He struggled even more, determined to be free and defeat the foe that stood before them.

Tallulah fought the string, too. She couldn't speak and could barely breathe, but the sticky string was ripping. She fough harder, her sticky paws tearing at the silk until she uncovered her mouth, though the rest of the string dangled from her cheeks. Tally used Sonicboom on Acro's binding, hoping to just rip the silk and not the Pokemon held within it. Her tail was a bit sore, and she knew that to keep using it would just make things worse, but Tallulah had to keep using her tail as it was her only weapon.

Acro was freed from the wrappings, he used wing attack on it but only clipped the swaloon as it dodged. He was blown back as a barrage of silvery scales attacked him, the Swadloon was using silver wind! He was only slightly damaged and the swadloon continued it's attack to try and it his Tallulah.

Tallulah saw the Silver wind. She used Aqua Tail and spun around, creating a watery barrier that slowed down the scales and kept them from hurting her. Still, after a few seconds Tallulah stopped in tail pain and was hit by the end of the attack. Tallulah hesitated to fight anymore, as she was just hurting herself every time she attacked. She instead used Growl from a distance, hoping to help from her least favorite part of any battle, the sidelines.

Acro noticed that Tallulah was hanging back, 'She must be hurt...' he thought. He leaped closer to the swadloon and used a wing attack. Lucky for the duo it landed as a critical blow. The swadloon was hanging on by a strand of health. It used protect to try and delay the inevitable. Acro decided not to attack and wait out the protect, dodging razor leafs and silver winds that the swadloon used from behind the wall of protection.

"Finish him off, Acro! I need to rest!" Tallulah called, growling ferociously at the Swadloon and lowering its attack. She needed to rest her tails, but in a dangerous dungeon she was syre she had to resort to them much more that usual.

Acro acknowledged the request with a nod. He finally saw that the Swadloon's protect had faded, he leaped at it and smashed his wing into it. The swadloon was knocked into a tree, sliding to the ground and faceplanting the dirt with a "Thud" Acro turned to Tallulah, "You okay?" he asked, concerned for the buizel.

"Uhh... Yeah, I'll be okay. That bite is coming back to haunt me, thats all," Tallulah answered. She rubbed her hurt tail. "I'm just gonna have to use my other one only..." Tallulah sighed, tying her black scarf around the place where she was bitten like a bandage. She then wiggled her other tail around to get used to only moving one.

To see if her attacks would still work, Tallulah used Sonicboom at a tree. It wasn't as big as usual. "I guess I'll have to work on my accuracy, too," she stated

"Okay. The waterfall should be close since we've been walking for so long." Acro rubbed his wing a bit. His wing was beginning to become bruised from being used so much, since he always favored using his right wing. He looked around a bit and still couldn't see anything but trees and bushes.

((Wanna go to waterfall when we finish fourth page?))

"Yeah, I can hear the water better. We're close, I can feel it!" Tallulah replied, pointing to a small break in the trees. "That's a short cut, I'm sure." she said. Tallulah squeezed through and motioned Acro to follow. She held her tails to her back and made herself as small as possible to fit through the small path.

(( Yeah, sure. ))

Acro followed, having little difficulty fitting through the gap because of his small size. He grew excited as he heard Tallulah announce that she could feel the waterfall. He leaped over a log that had crashed in their path and waited for Tallulah to lead further.

Tallulah kept herself alert, looking back and forth and sniffing occasionally. Up ahead the shortcut lead back onto the regular path but Tally could deffinately hear roaring water in the distance. She grinned, the water attracting her like a Mothim to the flame. "Can ya' hear it?" Tallulah asked Acro.

"Yeah!" Acro nodded and smiled, he wondered if there would be some kind of guardian to the waterfall. He was right. A pokemon leaped out of the bushes, holding an item. It looked like it was angry beyond all means of reason.

Tallulah stared as a rampaging Cacturne holding a Cacnea Spike lumbered it, prepared to fight for the viewing of the waterfall. It used Growth a few times, becoming more bulky and a bit bigger, making it a more fearsome opponent. He roared and stomped, kicking up dust. Tallulah swallowed. Not only was she already wounded, she had the type disadvantage. At least Acro had his flying tricks...

Tallulah decided to go for the spike. She pointed to it and made a jabbing motion to signal she was going to grab the Cacnea Spike and wield it to help defeat the fearsome foe.

Acro glared at the Cacturne, he had fought one of these before. He launched himself at the pokemon and used wing attack. He missed as the cacturne twirled to the side and used a poison sting. Acro was hit, but luckily not poisoned.
