Acro is Lost....

A brown shape flashed through the leaves as it hopped from tree to tree. It stopped when it was utterly lost, "Strange.."the shape spoke, "I could of sworn this was the way to that Monochrome Falls i've been hearing about." He ruffled his feathers and dropped to the ground. He was an Archen, and his name was Acro. He had recently begun exploring without his partner George the Buizel recently. He thought of himself as more adventurous than the buizel. He had heard a rumor about a waterfall in the forest, and he wanted to see it. He looked around his surroundings to find himself surrounded by tall trees, he realized something. He, was lost. He could have sworn he knew these woods like the back of his hand by now, but no. He had found himself in an entirely new area, and not only was he lost but he hadn't even found what he was looking for! He huffed in frustration and tried to remember where he had come from and where he should go.

A Buizel marched through the woods, and one might mistake her as paranoid by the way she kept looking behind and around her. She was fine, this was just her way of being alert. Her name was Tallulah, and she was in the forest for training. She heard a sound nearby. Someone else was here...

"Show yourself!" she called without a bit of fear. "I know you're here, but I won't attack unless you do!" Tallulah readied her tails in case she was attacked, but she hoped whoever this wasn't violent.

"What was that?" Acro mumbled to himself. He followed the source of the noise to see a buizel in a clearing looking around. "George?" Acro called, mistaking the pokemon for his partner. He didn't draw near in case the pokemon wasn't George and was hostile. He didn't want to be caught a fool and be beaten because he was to trustful of other pokemon.

"Is that you George?" he called again, louder in case the buizel didn't hear.

Tallulah watched an Archen come near. He was calling for someone named George. "Who is this 'George'?" she asked, lowering her tails. "I'm certainly not him," she said as she slowly stepped forward. "You're peaceful, right?" Tallulah asked suspiciously. "I mean, I won't attack if you don't."

"I mean no harm." Acro replied, "Sorry, I though you were someone else." Acro's feathers were fluffed up a bit by the wind, he fixed them and mumbled, "This is getting quite annoying." he turned back to the Buizel and said, "Do you know the way to Monochrome Falls? I've been out here for Dialga knows how long and I haven't found a trace of it!" he asked, approaching the buizel.

Tallulah blinked. "Monochrome Falls? I've never heard of 'em, sorry," she said, her muscles relaxing (though not completely) "I mean, I'm just here to train an' all that, but..." Tallulah hesitated. It sounded kind of cool to her, and the water part of the waterfall was tempting. Still, she was here with one objective: to train. [i]If he asks...[i] she thought. Tallulah remained silent, waiting to see what he said.

Acro sighed and said, "Thanks anyways. I've been looking all over and I haven't found it as I said before. George wouldn't come with me to look for it." He look at the buizel and asked, "Do you want to join me? It's kind of dangerous here and it's bad to be alone." He grew nervous, he wasn't the most sociable Archen in the world.

Aaaanndd he asked....

"Yeah, okay. I'm in. But I'm not gonna protect you. We're in this together," said Tallulah, holding out her paw for the Archen to shake it. "By the way, the name's Tally."

"Acro of Team Roark." Acro smiled and shook the Tally's hand with his wing and felt an overwhelming urge to get moving, "Shall we go?" he asked, "I heard some pretty strong pokemon hang out at the falls."

"Yeah, lets go," Tallulah said, listening intently for anything. "Those strong Pokemon are the reason I'm here, Acro." Tallulah quickly jumped back, hearing... something.

Tallulah used Growl on whatever it was. She wasn't going to take any chances.

(okay, I guess you choose the Pokemon we face based on whatever the roll is)

A flash of gray leaped out at them, it howled and charged toward the buizel with a bite. I was a poocheyena! It bounded toward the Buizel as fast as it could, getting read to sink it's teeth into it's prey. He held a curious looking item with him. Acro was about to rush to help Tally but another pokemon leaped toward him, also holding an item.

Tallulah hit the Poochyena with her SonicBoom attack, knocking both the Bite Pokemon and an... Unusual-looking Box from its grip.

The Poocheyena howled, apparently summoning a Mightyena, both seeming related in Tallulah's eyes. The Mightyena had a scarf draped around it's back and the duo used Sand Attack together on both Tallulah and Acro. Tally shielded her eyes though some still got in, causing her to blink rapidly to get the sand and dirt out of her eyes.

(Poochyena has an Unusual Box, Mightyena has a Defense Scarf. When this fight is over, can I have the scarf? Oh, and from now on, roll the post before an encounter as I asked you to do before.)

((Sure, Acro already has a defense scarf, he's wearing it right now i forgot to put))

Acro wrapped his defense scarf tight around his neck and felt his body grow sturdier, "Breh, mightyenas.."he growled. He had fought two of them before with his partner George, he leaped at the mightyena with a wing attack to the snout. He was hoping to injure it's jaw so if it had anything like thunder fang or poison fang it wouldn't be able to use it. He had done this last time in a battle with mightyenas, he hoped it would work like a charm in this too.

Tallulah twirled her tails like a propeller, moving a bit faster but only if she didn't attack. She charged at the Mightyena and stoped twirling her tails and instead readied them for Aqua Tail, giving the larger Bite Pokemon a blow to the spine, her tail scooping up the Defense Scarf. She then jumped and grabed onto a low branch, removing her plain old black scarf and replacing it with the defensive one. Tallulah had no idea about how these things worked, but at least they did. She jumped from the branch, shooting a Sonic Boom at the Poochyena, KO-ing it, which seemed to make the Mightyena even more angry.

"That Poochyena seemed kind of weak...Lets just hope this one is too." said Tallulah, ready to defeat the Mightyena. She gave it a blow with her Sonic Boom attack. She knew she wasn't that strong, so an attack like that was the best way to finish it off.

Thank you, my brothers, the Buizel thought. Without your antics, I'd be nothing here. It was true. Without watching them, Tallulah would be clueless in her first real battle.

Acro screeched at the mightyena as he used another wing attack before it could recover from the sonic boom. He attacked in fury and hit the mightyena in the side, it howled in rage and pain. The mightyena retreated a few feet, catching it's breath. It growled then roared at the archen, which was then sent flying quite a ways away. He cried out in pain as he was thrown into a thorn bush. He pulled himself out, needles tearing at his feathers. He ran back as fast as he could to the fray.

The mightyena faced the Buizel, sparks coming from it's jaw as it prepared a thunder fang that it had spent years mastering. It smiled wickedly and ran towards the buizel, impatient to sink it's teeth in both revenge and the love of the hunt.
