| "Here we go..." the spectre whispers to himself. This wasn't something he was used to for sure, though it wasn't intimidating. It'd be simple; enter, find the guildmaster and inquire about signing up. A simple process, the only thing he'd worry about messing up would be first impressions.
He takes no time in entering the guild, though that pace is significantly slackened once he does enter. It was fairly busy, though it was expected. After all, he'd heard about this place when he'd lived days of travelling away! The only thing left to do now would be to find the guildmaster and request an audience.

| The Grassveil Guild always seemed to be busy, the murmurs of speech and even the occasional sound of laughter in the air. There was no shortage of Pokémon, the area around the bulletin board especially busy as the various teams checked out what kind of jobs had been posted and wondered which ones they should take. Sometimes newcomers could go completely unnoticed – but that usually wasn't the intention of anyone. Sometimes there just was so much else to do and think…
Faye wasn't an exception, either. As the Guildmaster, she didn't have to bother with going on missions, but there was still a lot she did have to bother with. A guild didn't run by itself, and there was a lot of work involved in it. A lot of it, paperwork. Poké, supplies, team sign-ups, research. A never-ending stream of work, but it was all worth it in the end. Still, sometimes she needed to leave her room, even if it was for just a little while.
In the halls of the Guild, a tall Pokémon like a Meganium often towered over the shorter ones, her long neck raising her head above many. She always had to be careful about not stepping on anyone, but as she was easily visible and the Guildmaster, other Pokémon noticed her easily and gave her room. Though of course she was also greeted, Faye doing the same with a smile. It seemed like everyone was in good spirits today… And again, she was no exception. At least not anymore, the feelings of others being contagious and the pot of warm water she had fetched and now carried in a prehensile vine soon turning into delicious tea…

| It was easy for Gaige to ascertain the identity of the guild's master once he got inside. Simply asking a few of the denizens about her and he was good to go. The only thing now would be to actually spot her and get her attention.
Of course, this proved easy as well, given the relative size of a meganium. All that was required of him was to direct his gaze upwards. His eyes quickly lock on, the only challenge now would be to navigate through the crowd... at least it would be, had he not been a ghost. The ability to phase through others was a rather useful ability, to say the least.
"Excuse me," says the voice from below, "do you have a moment?" Gaige asks, trying to avoid startling her. After all, he didn't want to wind up with a face full of boiling water.

| A voice from below caused Faye to stop, her gaze directed towards the floor to see who it was that had actually spoken up. A ghostly Pokémon floated there, looking at her – a Shuppet. One that she did not recognize, so this didn't seem to be a Pokémon who had joined the Guild. "Oh, of course dearie, of course," she smiled, turning towards the Shuppet properly carefully as to not step on anyone or accidentally spill the content of her pot. The Meganium tilted her head slightly, her golden eyes inspecting the Pokémon now in front of her. "What may I do to help you?" | |

| "Well, I was informed that a meganium lead this guild, one who goes by the name Faye. I assume that to be you, yes?" He begins, his eyes never breaking contact for even a second. "I was hoping that I could sign up with your guild here. It's inhabitants are certainly agreeable if nothing less." He says as he then does avert his eyes to the rest of the area. "Though if you are currently in the middle of something I do understand. I'm not in a rush of course, though the sooner the better." | |

| "Oh, is that so?" Faye laughed softly, tilting her head just a bit as she listened. Looked like her identity was already known. In the end she was forced to nod, to agree with the assumptions of who she was. Not many other Meganium around in the Guild, unfortunately. "You're right, sweetie. I am Faye, the Guildmaster – so you do have the right Pokémon for what you want to do," she chuckled, the smile on her lips gentle, just like the rest of her expression. With a little shake of her head for emphasis, she continued. "And no, there is nothing that can't wait a bit longer. Would you like to come to my quarters now so we can discuss this in a more private setting?" | |

| Gaige takes no hesitation before nodding eagerly. "Oh yes, of course! Like I said, the sooner the better." He says before asking one more thing. "It is a bit crowded in here, I don't suppose you'd mind pointing me towards the general direction? Don't want to get lost in here."
He then had the realization that this was in fact the first time he's been inside this guild. He'd certainly figure his way around out soon enough but perhaps he'd have to ask about a tour...? After this, his thoughts say, there's something much more important at hand to deal with. He proceeds behind Faye, going over a mental list. He was fairly certain he'd gotten everything he needed to sign up in order, though a proper first impression was certainly important as well.

| "Then please, follow me, sweetie," Faye smiled, turning towards the direction of her quarters. There certainly was one good side to walking behind such a large-bodied Pokémon, everyone moving out of the way and giving the two a wide berth as they walked – or well, one walked, the other floated. Their walk wasn't very long, just down the hallway until the Meganium stopped in front of a particular door, pushing it open with one of her vines and stepping inside. Motioning with the very same one, she beckoned the Shuppet to come in as she held the door open.
While one might have expected the large wooden desk to dominate the room, the shelf on the back wall had to be the main point of interest in the Guildmaster's quarters. Filled with both large books and copious amounts of potted plants, the room almost resembled an indoor garden more than a stuffy office. A couple of seats had been placed in front of the desk. "Make yourself comfortable – and oh, would you like to have a cup of tea? It is going to take a while for it to be ready…"

| Gaige does follow behind her, the sudden path more than appreciated. Sure, he could've just passed through them but it did take a bit more out of him than just the usual gliding he did. The door would've posed another problem, as he didn't have any hands to begin with. Maybe one day... he sighs to himself, entering the office. The decor was much more... intriguing than anything he'd really seen. After all, he did come from an area that was less concerned with such things. He trails towards the desk and sinks into the seat. The meganium can hear a reply of "Oh yes, I'd love some. I take it you're the kind to create your own?" | |

| Faye nodded, happy to have someone to enjoy the tea with. She walked into the room and closed the door once the Shuppet had made it in her room. Walking all the way to the end and behind her desk, she placed her pot of boiling water on one of the lower shelves on the back wall before she started digging through a few little ceramic jars for some dried herbs she had prepared for just these moments. Tossing in a few spoonfuls of various herbs and other leaves into the sieve that had been submerged in the water, she closed the lid to allow the water to be flavored by her mix of choosing.
"Ah, that's right, dearie. It is something of a hobby of mine," the Meganium smiled as she glanced over her shoulder. The Shuppet had guessed her taste in tea right, it seemed – did she look like the kind of Pokémon who liked brewing their own? It was hard for her to say something like that herself. Before she turned around, she grabbed a large tome from the shelf that she then placed on her desk. "Had you decided on your team's name, yet?"

| "An underrated hobby," He replies, "Back where I came from there was one of... actually, scratch that, the only other one who I've ever met who did the same thing." Gaige tries to crane his neck some, watching as she brewed the mix.
"I have, yes." He says in response to the question. He'd came prepared for this, of course he'd have something in mind. "I was thinking Dirge, it's got a mildly intimidating sound to it, though nothing way over the top." Plus, it seemed rather fitting in his mind, seeing as he was a ghost type.

| Faye let out a soft laugh to the ghost's words, her hobby apparently not a very common one. Yes, perhaps… She couldn't say she had met all that many who had shared her hobby, to be quite honest. But with the way things were lately and how busy she could be with running the Guild, she didn't have as much time for chatting with many Pokémon about things that weren't related to work – unfortunately.
"I see. A fitting name, I hope," the Guildmaster nodded to the choice of name, but as she did not yet know this Shuppet, it was impossible for her to say what it was that he was going for. Only time could tell. A quill pen had already waited for Faye on the desk in a little holder, one of her vines swiftly wrapping around it and dipping into the ink bottle next to it. "I am also going to have to know your name to finish the process, dearie."

| Gaige nods. "As do I, it certainly seemed fitting when I thought of it." His eyes follow that vine,a wave of envy filling his mind for a brief moment. His form, after all was barely corporeal in it's current state.
"Oh, yes. My name is Gaige." He responds, spelling it out afterwards. After all, it was a rather uncommon name. "I've heard some good things about this place, would you mind showing me around a bit after? I mean, with your stature and status I'm certain it'd be rather easy to get from one area to the next through the crowds. Also, is it always so busy out there?"

| With a nod, Faye started to write. The quill was brought to the surface of the paper, moved swiftly and neatly across its page with a satisfying little scratching sound. The team's name was written down, as was the Shuppet's, to track the current status of the members. "Oh, yes, of course," the Meganium agreed to giving a little tour of the Guild when Gaige asked – it usually was something she did if one of the Guild members didn't get to it earlier. Putting the finishing touches on the page, her eyes flicked away from the book and in the Shuppet's direction.
"Our Guild is one of the larger ones in this area, but how busy it is… Well, that depends on many factors, sweetie. An influx of new jobs or rumors often has all kinds of teams swarming over the notice board," Faye smiled, placing the quill into its holder. The book wasn't closed, as the ink had to be allowed to dry for a little while before doing that. The sweet scent of herbal tea has started to waft around in the air, signaling them both that it seemed to be ready.
And it did make the Meganium turn around to attend to her brew, pouring a little of the greenish liquid into a small cup she then offered to Gaige with a vine, putting it down on the desk. "Now, I should look into some supplies for you…"

| Gaige nods. He understood why it was so busy, of course. After all, there was a reason he himself came to this guild in particular. It certainly had it's reputation and there was no doubt at least some truth that came behind it.
"Ah, so some things do flow through here huh?" He asks, "I'd imagine not too frequently of course." When presented with the tea, he offers the meganium a smile. "Ah yes, of course! I was hoping not to go in empty handed, nor did I really expect to do so. Anyways, might I ask what exactly will be supplied?"
