| As the noise got closer and closer, Delta cowered behind Bolt, shivering in fear. No... What am I doing? She asked herself, shaking her head in disappointment. I came here to train, didn't I? I can't just run away from all of the ferals... I need to learn how to fight, and this would be a good way to start, She decided, peeking her head out from her zebra companion's hind legs and waddling towards the rustling bush. "Uh... I-I've g-got this," She nervously told Bolt, removing her scalchop from her midsection and holding it up.
After a few nerve-racking seconds, a brownish blur jumped out of the bushes and tackled Delta to the ground. "Ack, g-get off...!" The otter yelled as a Zigzagoon began to scratch at her chest, growling like a rabid Poochyena. She pushed at the normal type to try and get it off of her, but she was simply too weak to throw them aside. Ugh, this is so embarrassing! Delta thought, blushing when she remembered that Bolt was watching.

| With Delta hiding behind him, it seemed like he had to do this himself. As the noise came near, the zebra readied his double kick. Ok, whatever comes through that bush is going to get a taste of my kick. I'll protect Delta, because she's scared and needs my help. I'm glad she can't read my mind.... As he was ready to double kick whatever was there, Delta came out behind Bolt and told him that she can do this by herself. "Ok, you've got this," encouraging Delta.
What seemed like decades later, the feral finally decided to show itself. It was a zigzagoon, Bolt knew about this Pokemon. He had seen it when he would go exploring. The normal-type tackled Delta to the ground, scratching at her chest, with a crazed look in its eyes. Clearly trying to throw the zigzagoon off, but failing miserably, Bolt quickly double kicked it smack in the face. "Stay away from Delta, you, you feral!" The zigzagoon turned its eyes on him, badly damaged, yet it still had enough strength and wits to attack the zebra. Head butting Bolt, the zebra stumbled backwards fazed by the attack. With one last attack he double kicked it once more, making the normal-type retreat into the bushes. With that he ran over to Delta, "A-are you ok?"

Just as Delta thought she was going to manage to shove the Zigzagoon off, she felt the normal type go flying off her chest. For a moment, she just layed there on her back, a little dazed by what had just happened. "Ugh, th-that hurt," She mumbled, running a paw across her chest. Thankfully, it seemed as if the Zigzagoon hadn't managed to do any serious damage, but she was still pretty sore.
The Oshawott sat up to see what was going on. Did this guy really just steal my fight? She thought, leering at Bolt as he kicked the Zigzagoon into submission. When the Pokemon fled back into the bushes and her partner came over to check on her, Delta huffed and crossed her arms. "You didn't need to do that," She told the Bliztle, coughing. "I-I told you, I can handle myself, you moron..."

A throbbing headache was intruding his thoughts, making it hard think and hear straight. Threatening to make him faint, standing strong he tried to push the headache away. Conscious enough to hear enough of what Delta said, Bolt tried to answer her. "I thought you were in trouble, I only meant to throw the zigzagoon off of you. But, it started to attack me, so I had to strike back."
Looking around, he started to feel a little dizzy. I should have attacked sooner, maybe if I had it wouldn't have head butted me. Stumbling when he tried to walk, the zebra decided he needed to sit down. Taking a seat next to Delta, he took a deep breath. As the forest started to spin around he finally let in, no longer being able to take it any longer, the zebra slumped to the ground unconscious.

| "You could've at least let me finish the stupid thing off," Delta grumbled, shaking her head disapprovingly at her travel companion. She was pissed off at him, and rightfully so. After all, the equine had just stolen the valuable combat experience that she had traveled to the forest for! She didn't want to be weak, but idiots like him who needlessly coddled her were preventing her from getting any stronger!
I should just leave this guy and go out on my own, Delta quietly thought, glaring Bolt as he made his way over to her. Screw him, I don't need any protection! Not if he's just going to hog all of the action, She told herself. However, just as she was about to get up and leave the electric type, his legs buckled, and he collapsed onto the ground next to her! For a few moments, Delta just stared at the larger Pokemon, too shocked to say anything. Is he... Unconscious? How the hell did that happen?
The asthmatic otter knew that she was caught in the middle of a moral dilemma, and she hated it. This would be a perfect opportunity to abandon the Blitzle in favor of getting more "action", but... That just didn't seem right, even to someone as cold and heartless as Delta. I guess I'll stay until this moron wakes up... She reluctantly decided, rising to her feet and waddling in a circle around Bolt to examine him.
It seemed that he was out like a light. He was still breathing just fine, which was good, but... Delta honestly had no idea when he would wake up. It could be a few minutes, or a few hours. Of course, an Oran Berry or two would speed the process up, but the ill-prepared Oshawott hadn't remembered to pack any for the trip. Science dammit, I'll have to remember to do inventory before I leave next time...
While Delta thought about basic dungeoneering protocol, another wild Pokemon approached the two. This one was much more stealthy, hopping from tree to tree to methodically make its way to its target. Once close enough, the feral revealed itself to the conscious civilization Pokemon, causing her to gasp slightly.
"Oh, crap... That smile isn't creepy at all," Delta commented, a little creeped out by the purple monkey Pokemon's playful grin. "Uh, Bolt? Now would be a good time to wake up," She desperately told her partner, prodding his stomach as the Aipom jumped down from the tree. Slowly, it made its way towards the duo, taking particular interest in their bags...

Caught in the midst of his nightmares, Bolt was unable to hear anything that Delta said. Sure, he was unconscious, but one can still dream when so. Replaying moments of his life over and over again. Spark's coughing, getting ill, and death were the most prominent. And with that, instead of the worried and caring faces of his parents as they said goodbye, were disapproving gazes as zebra was forced to leave.
Wandering on his own in this nightmarish land, he was completely and utterly shunned it seemed. At least, to him. Everything was dark and gloomy, it seemed to be raining half of the time and the other half it was dark and cloudy. Lost in the midst of this he kept on walking through the nightmare.

Looks like I'll have to do this by myself... Delta thought, rolling her eyes at her unresponsive partner. How weak was he, fainting to a single Zigzagoon? Even she wasn't that fragile... Well, maybe she was, but that was besides the point. The reason she had let Bolt come along was because he looked like a competent fighter, but... That didn't appear to be the case.
Delta looked up at the Aipom, who was slowly making its way towards her. "Uh... G-get lost, moron!" She yelled at the Pokemon, reaching for her scalchop. It didn't even flinch. "I'm warning you...!" She growled. The Aipom, still grinning, took another step forward, as if taunting her. "Alright, then I guess I'll just have to MAKE you leave!"
The infuriated otter lunged at her opponent with her weapon, colliding with them midair. She heard the monkey Pokemon cry out in pain as she managed to slash it across the chest. She wrestled it to the ground, but the injured Pokemon shoved her off with its hand-like tail and fled the scene. "Heh, that's right! Screw off, you idiot!" She called out as she watched it make a hasty retreat. She smiled triumphantly, proud of her accomplishment. "Heh, heh... Too bad Bolt wasn't awake to see that..."
For a minute, Delta sat on the ground, catching her breath. That felt really good, finally defeating a feral! Something was missing, however, and it took her a while to realize it... The Aipom had somehow managed to snag her bag without her noticing! "Ah, crap!" She screamed, facepawing. "My TM was in that thing!"

| Walking through the nightmare, he stumbled upon pecha forest. He walked straight through it, as he did with all the other dungeons. No Pokemon was here, nothing but himself and.... What was that? Trotting closer he saw an Oshawott, Delta! The zebra sprinted to her, but before he could reach her he woke up. The equine Slowly opened his eyes, not remembering the dream, except for Delta. Unsteadily getting up, he muttered "I can't believe I let that zigzagoon head butt me right on the forehead. I probably passed out because of it," loud enough for delta to hear. I'm going to have to be more cautious about zigzagoon from now on. Don't want to have that happen again.Noticing Delta he gratefully said "Thank you for not bailing on me when I passed out because of that stupid zigzagoon. Anything happen while I was out?" Noticing her bag was gone but he decided to let her explain and kept quiet. - funnylollipop1 carried out 3 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| "Yeah, this little shit of an Aipom just stole my bag!" Delta shouted, her face red due to a combination of both embarrassment and anger. "Come on, get up! We have to go after him! He went, uh... That way!" She pointed in the direction that the thieving feral had fled in. Unfortunately, if they were to follow the Aipom, they would have to stride off the dirt path and into the brush, where there would be even more wild Pokemon.
This prospect didn't seem to bother Delta, however. The otter quickly grew tired of waiting for her travel companion, and impatiently waddled off the road, disappearing behind the bushes. That stupid Aipom is bound to be around here somewhere... She thought to herself, scanning the area for any signs of the Aipom. It had only been a minute or two since the Pokemon made it off with her bag, so it couldn't have been that far away...

The zebra waited patiently for the otter to take the lead, considering that he was still unsteady and didn't want to anger Delta... again. So, when she waddled off the road he simply followed her into the bushes. Now completely surrounded by undergrowth, the equine looked around for anything that might be useful to him and his travel partner, while also keeping an eye out for the aipom that stole her bag.
Once again spotting something pink under a bush, he quickly grabbed it, examined the gummi, and dropped the pink Gummi into his bag. Noticing there was a seed stashed behind the gummi he picked up, Bolt went ahead and started to inspect it. Examining the seed closely one could see that it was a swift seed. Huh, all I can seem to find these days are swift seeds and pink Gummis, joking to himself.
Catching up to Delta after a couple of minutes, he walked in silence. On the prowl for the aipiom, looking closely to see if there was any sign of it. Although, it was hard, as there where bushes everywhere, as well as trees. And you can't forget about the flowers, thorns, and maybe a few vines here and there. The weather being cloudy probably didn't help either.
Noticing a purple vine, and a hand like thing attached to it, Bolt quickly looked over it. "Umm, hey Delta there's something up in the trees, think it's a Pokemon. It has a purple tail with a hand like thing, is that what you're looking for?"

| Delta's eyes widened when Bolt announced that he had located the Aipom. Sure enough, she could see the purple Pokemon's tail near a tree branch not far from them. I guess he IS dtill good for something, She smugly thought to herself. The Oshawott turned to her partner, and whispered into his ear. "Uh, yeah, that's him... Could you try to zap him out of the tree or something? I don't actually have any water attacks yet," She admitted, blushing slightly. I'm gonna beat the crap out of that stupid monkey when he falls down, though...
Suddenly, a loud boom beckoned across the entire forest! It took a few seconds for Delta to realize that lightning had just struck, and it had touched down very close to where they were. It was certainly strange to hear thunder without the sound of rain drowning it out... Focus on the monkey, Delta told herself, looking back up at the tree... Only to find that the Aipom was gone! "Ah, crap!" She yelled, seeing the Pokemon scurrying away from tree to tree. It must have been spooked by the thunder, The Oshawott figured, cursing her luck. "It's getting away! After it!"

| Delta whispered to him if he could zap the monkey down, since she doesn't have any water moves and all. So she's a water type after all. "Sorry Delta I haven't learned any electric attacks but I can kick him dow-," started the blitzle. But he immediately stopped when he heard the loud boom beckoning across the entire sky. A thunder storm, this is bad for Delta and it's going to be harder to catch that stupid aipom now. Of course Bolt didn't mind thunderstorms himself being an electric-type and being able to catch and store lightning in his mane. Realizing lightning had just struck very close to them, and that was very dangerous for Delta, since she was a water-type it made it even more dangerous. Delta yelling that the aipom was getting away, Bolt sprinted after it hoping he wouldn't lose it. But as if luck would have it the aipom disappeared after a minute or so. "Rats, it got away." Dejectedly he trotted back to Delta and told her that it disappeared into the trees. - funnylollipop1 carried out 4 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| Delta tried to keep pace with Bolt as he ran for the Aipom, but she wasn't anywhere near as fast as he was, and didn't even have the stamina to sprint after him. A brisk jog was the most she could manage without breaking into a coughing fit. Eventually, after a minute or two of chasing her partner, she couldn't take the stinging sensation in her lungs any longer, and collapsed onto the ground, gasping for air.
When the asthmatic otter was finally able to get to her feet, Bolt came racing back, and informed her that the Aipom had gotten away. "Heh... Are you... A-are you kidding?" She wheezed, still out of breath. "W-we need to keep following it... Heh, crap... Just n-not as fast as you just did... I-I can't keep up!" Delta stared in the direction that the Aipom had gone in, looking determined to get her bag back. That TM might be the only thing that can make me stronger... There's no way that I'm just gonna let it go!

"Y-ya, sorry for running so fast, I was just trying to catch that rat of an aipom," Bolt agreed after Delta wheezed they shouldn't go so fast. There must be something really important in Delta's bag, wonder what it is. "What's in your bag by the way?" Walking as he asked that question.
Not noticing some sticks on the ground, he almost tripped over them if it wasn't for a Hoothoot warning him. "Umm, thanks?" he neighed at the Hoothoot who was now perched on a tree branch. Picking up the sticks, he dropped them in his bag and kept on walking. Could be useful, maybe I could even catch that aipom with these sticks. Imagining hurling the sticks at the aipom and hitting the normal-type square on the forehead, he almost laughed. Now that would be funny and great at the same time. Watching an aipom fall from a tree because of sticks....

| "The TM that my brother gave me before he left is in there!" Delta told the Blitzle, growling in frustration. "He told me that it'd help me get stronger, but... It's not gonna do me any good when that stupid Aipom has it..." She grumbled, sighing. If she ended up losing the expensive gift, she would never forgive herself. I'm not gonna leave until I get it back, The stubborn Oshawott declared. That stupid monkey is gonna pay! When I catch him, he's gonna be in for a world of pain...
Delta shook her head and continued to trudge through the thick undergrowth, still a bit fatigued from her brief jog. All she could do now was hope that they found the little thief again... And that kind of uncertainty didn't sit well with her. The young water type anxiously fiddled with the Joy Ribbon she was wearing in an attempt to distract herself from her failure. Of course, she could always make some conversation with Bolt, but she wasn't THAT desperate yet.
