Stranded in Sinnoh Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySat Jun 04, 2016 3:20 am

Chrystine's appearance:

Chrystine suppressed a yawn as she leaned back against the uncomfortable cushions that lined the train's benches. The school year was over, and the train ride taking her back to hell was taking far too short of a time. They were already almost halfway to the station.

"Shall I inquire to Father about having you stay at the manor for two weeks this summer, Tom?" Cygnus asked eagerly.

Chrystine couldn't help but roll her eyes as she glanced at the recipient of Cygnus' words. Tom Riddle, the handsome parselmouth prodigy, eyed Cygnus coolly.

"I have things to do this summer. I will likely not have time to come over for a visit," Tom replied. He glanced at Chrystine meaningfully, and she returned his gaze with a small nod.

The gesture did not go unnoticed by Cygnus, who suddenly looked jealous. "You're spending time with Roane though?" he grumbled lowly.

Tom raised his eyebrows. "Even if I was, it wouldn't be any of your business, would it, Cygnus?" He said smoothly, causing Cygnus to flush deeply. Chrystine smirked.

It was always satisfying to see Cygnus put into his place. She always found it annoying that Cygnus tried to find ways to separate Tom from the group for one-on-one time with the parselmouth, as if Cygnus was worth any of Tom's attention.

Chrystine returned her attention to the window, watching the landscape pass by. She distantly heard Abraxas strike up a conversation with Tom about their summer Transfiguration homework, but didn't pay attention to it. She didn't need Tom's help to understand Transfiguration. Or any of her subjects, for that matter. It wasn't for no reason that the Hat had considered Ravenclaw for ten minutes before finally deciding on Slytherin.

Before long, the train ride had passed, and the Hogwarts Express was pulling into King's Cross station. Chrystine reached up to the luggage racks and took down her trunk -enchanted to be feather-light. She nodded to Tom before she left the compartment, a silent understanding going between the two. She was going to see Tom again in a month, when they left to find and confront Tom's missing father.

She crossed the station, where her family -her mother and father, and her two younger siblings: Genevieve and Christian, were waiting.

"Are you ready for the International Portkey?" Her mother asked upon seeing her. Chrystine nodded. They were spending two weeks in America for vacation this summer, visiting family. She touched the old boot that her father produced, and waited for the portkey to activate. With a jerk and a whirl of color around her, she felt herself being pulled forward through space.

It seemed to be taking longer than usual, even for an International Portkey. The swirls of color around her  were making her sick, and white spots began to dance at the edge of her vision. Then she slammed into the ground, her head slapping against a rock. She immediately blacked out.

------

When Chrystine awoke, she had a splitting headache. She groaned, feeling at her head gingerly. She opened her eyes blearily, peering around. She seemed to be in a forest of some sort. That didn't make sense. Wasn't she supposed to be at the hotel? The portkey should have transported her to the hotel... even if she hit her head, her parents would have taken her to the Healer or something.

She pushed herself to her feet, dusting off her midnight-blue robes gingerly. She looked around herself, and saw her wand a few feet away. It must have rolled out of her pocket in the landing. She retrieved it, sticking it back into her pocket. She wasn't able to find her trunk, though. Maybe it was with her parents? She glanced around her surroundings. She seemed to be in a dark forest of some sort.

"Tawnie! Sorcha!" A voice called through the trees.

Chrystine's eyes widened. At least she wasn't alone. "Hello?" She called back. "I'm lost, I don't know where I am! Can you direct me to the nearest city?" If she found a city, she could find her way to a Floo. She knew the address of the hotel, and as long as she had made it to America, she could get to her destination, no problem.

PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySat Jun 04, 2016 12:51 pm

Despite calling out for her friends, Ellychnia was startled when her calls were responded to with a questioning hello. It wasn't a voice she recognised, which meant.... well, could mean anything really. Perhaps they'd know more about where she was. It couldn't hurt to ask anyways...

Just as those thoughts teased their way into her mind, they were shattered by the voice's next words, declaring that the individual was in fact just as lost as she was. With a small sigh, Elly followed the direction of the voice and pushed a few branches out of the way on her quest for the source of the sounds.

Still not spotting the individual, she called back, hoping to get a better grasp on where they were located, "I'm afraid I can't help you much there," she called into the wilderness of the forest, "I'm a little lost myself..."

Her voice trailed off to be a little quieter as her sentence finished, another small frown making it's way onto her face. She paused for a moment, before continuing, "If you call out again I might be able to find you, and we won't have to yell across a forest!" she chuckled lightly. The idea of holding an entire conversation across the forest was rather amusing, but without knowing what else could lay within the dense gathering of trees, Elly was a little wary of continuing in this way. Some woods were home to territorial wolves, mischievous imps and all sorts of creatures that she'd rather not have to deal with if she had the chance to avoid it.

Chrystine felt relieved when the voice responded to her, getting a little closer. She moved toward the voice, pushing aside some low-lying branches to press on through the forest. "Well two wands are better than one," She replied to the voice.

She continued through the forest, following the sound of the voice. It sounded like another female, though she couldn't tell the age of the speaker from just the voice. "Might I inquire as to how you ended up lost?" She asked the voice. "I believe my portkey may have misplaced me..."

Chrystine emerged into a clearing and looked about her. "Are you still there?" she called.

As the voice sounded again, Ellychnia continued in the direction that it came from, slowly but surely making her way towards it. She was a little perplexed by the individual's words, but she supposed there were cases of witches using wands when they found it hard to channel their magic through their limbs... especially beginners at the art. Perhaps that meant this other person was a witch like her and that was where the saying came from?

She was brought out of her somewhat confused thoughts as the voice spoke once again, asking her how she became lost and mentioning some sort of port key? What did a key to a port have to do with getting lost anywhere?

Getting more confused as this went on, Elly called out to the voice once again, politely answering the question as she drew closer. It seemed pretty nearby now, and she was sure she'd spot the other individual anytime soon.

"Yea!" she called out, reassuring the other of her presence, "I'm not too sure how I ended up here. I think I was asleep, and then I woke up in a tree and the friends I was travelling with weren't anywhere close by..." she replied, briefly explaining her situation. She grinned as she spotted a flash of white among the trees. That must be whoever it was!

Darting forward and pushing the last few branches out of the way, she entered the clearing where the other individual was stood. The silver haired girl was dressed rather differently to herself and worse long black robes, conversely to Elly's dress of orange hues, ornately patterned and likely stitched by hand. Nevertheless, Elly found herself asking the question that had been on her mind a few moments ago.

"How does a harbour key get you lost somewhere?" she asked with her head tilted slightly in curiosity a the odd images she conjured up within her mind's eye.

Stranded in Sinnoh Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySat Jun 04, 2016 9:59 pm

Latlevy’s appearance:

“Doo do do do~” Bouncy jazz music drifted through the air, filling the single person suite with a casual attitude that matched the comfortable warm colors of the room. Two long, bare pale arms reached up slowly, arching down as the slim body attached to them rocked smoothly to the beat. Long brown hair danced in the air, the wavy curls bouncing with every step the teenager took, rose with every twirl he made.  A large grin crossed the smooth face, narrow green eyes glinting in joy as the body danced across the empty floor.  A figure, a young girl around the same age as the teen dancing sat cross-legged on the single bed of the room, watching him closely with icy blue eyes.

“Yeah! Come on Levy!” She cheered, clapping her hands.

“Ahahaha, as you wish~” The 17 year old winked, dancing back with slow steps. His dark blue skirt flew with every little movement of his hips, the tight blue t-neck shirt with a bright orange flame on the center crinkled lightly with his actions.

The two teenagers are Latlevy and Anna, the two winners of a free trip to the Caribbean for a week long vacation. Latlevy is a 17 year old young man who won 1st place in the district wide garment making competition, a cheerful boy who likes to hang out around game stores and talk forever about all the things he likes. Anna is a 16 year old girl who was the runner up for the competition, a sweet girl who enjoys creating lovely art pieces and even sweeter morsels of food. While only Latlevy was the actual winner of the tickets, Anna had the honor of being one of his best friends, so its only right that he used his extra ticket to invite his pal on the cruise with him.

So here they are, in suite 307 of AotS A.K.A  Allure of the Sea, a luxury cruise ship that is their two way form of travel to and from their vacation. Of course they wasn't by themselves, there was 5 other winners of the vacation and at least 20 different chaperons who have to take care of them throughout the trip.

But Latlevy is trying to enjoy this feeling of independence so let's forget about the chaperons for now.

The slim boy flopped gracelessly on the large bed, jousting Anna for a second until the bed stopped moving.

“I can't believe we're actually going to the islands!” Anna squealed, clasping her hands together tightly, “Mrs. Ollins always told me so much about the Caribbean! I'm actually going to experience for myself now.”  She looked down at the other teenager, her blond hair falling over her shoulder.

“Are you going to be taking a lot of pictures too? Mom wants me to catch EVERYTHING so that she can put in our album!” The feminine boy smiled up at her, folding his arms behind his head.

“You better bet! I know Grandma is gonna love the souvenirs I plan on getting for her,” He chuckled lightly, “She was a little peeved that I didn't invite her instead, but I already told her that she was too old to keep up with me if I took her. There is also the fact that she isn't well enough to come anyways.”

Anna put her hands on her knees, “It's too bad, I guess. But I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth with this one! I'm going to enjoy this vacation to the fullest!”

“Yeah!” The high-fived and Latlevy sat up, “So, how about some games? Wanna play me in Smash?”

Anna frowned, “Well,” she started, scratching the back of her neck, “I'm not all that good in smash, and...um,” Latlevy raise a finely arched eyebrow, “Okay I lost it! I let my brother play with my games and he never gave them back to me. Sorry.”

“Hey, no need to apologize to me! It's your brother that should be doing that to you, why did you let him use it, you KNOW that he always loses or breaks it.”

Anna crossed her arms, “I thought that he learned since the last time, and he didn't it, he told me he was still playing it!”

The brunet gave her a skeptical look, before reaching down for a bag near the bed and digging out his 3DS, “Are you sure that he didn't lose it? He could be just buying time to try and find it or get a new one. Oh, maybe he traded it with one of his friends like last time.” He tossed the handheld to the younger teenager, “I don't know why you keep trying to trust your brother with your stuff.”

Anna caught it with both hands, tossing a frown at her friend before looking away after meeting his eyes, “I...really can't say no when he starts begging.”

“Heheh, figured.” He reached over and flicked her bangs, “You can never turn down any of your little sibs can you?”

Anna popped the system open and started it up, “Nope.” She slipped the stylus out of the back and tapped the loading screen impatiently.

Latlevy chuckled, “You know that doing that doesn't help at all right?” A second dig in the bag rewarded him with a second 3DS, a pure gold one with pikachus on the corners instead of the plain black as the other he gave Anna.

“Yup, but it makes if feel like I’m making a difference.” The screen finally loading in as she said, showing all the apps she only recently downloaded. She made a face when she realized that the 3D wasn't on and flicked the switch.

“I don't see why you always have 3D on, that stuff messes with my eyes.” The male complained, already swiping through his list of downloaded games for something he could play. “Now...should I go with Bravely Second? Or maybe XY or ORAS?” He paused for a moment, “Definitely Pokemon!”

“Why have the option if you're not going to use it? ...I only have the DS pokemon games with me right now...” she muttered, digging through her purse for any other games. Anna groaned when she came up empty, “I must have left them at hooome! Or Todd has them.”

Latlevy snorted, “Figures, do you have Platinum with you? It's the only DS pokemon game I have with me right now.” Anna thought for a second, going through the small black cards in her hand, then she nodded and held up the game for Latlevy to see.

The took a moment to insert the cards and get everything set up, Latlevy insisted on getting his 3DS updated for any recent news first. Soon they was both at the wireless communication booth in the Pokemon Center, Anna glaring at Latlevy as he organized his team.

“You are not using that team against me! I haven't even gotten past the third gym yet for you to be using one of your competitive teams!”

“Fine fine, I'll see if I have any pokemon that match your levels, I'll just have to make sure they got some good movesets.”

A sudden knock on the door interrupted their preparations, an older voice coming through the door, “Mr. Ignis, Ms. Shawna, it's time for the speaker to present! Be up at the deck in 5 minutes!” The sound of footsteps was drowned by the music that was playing, the two teenagers groaned from the bed.

“We didn't even get to play anything!” Latlevy whined, snapping his 3DS shut with one hand. On the other hand, Anna cheered happily, jumping off the bed to get her bag from the large table in the middle of the large room.

“I've been waiting to hear Mrs, Ramona speak! This is gonna be awesome!”  She slung the bag over her shoulder and dashed to the door, “See you up top!” Before Latlevy could say anything, Anna was out the door and running through the halls.

The teenager groaned, shaking his head as he stood up from the bed. “Not even going to take your stuff huh? Dammit Anna.” He picked up the games she left scattered on the bed and stuffed it in the gaming pouch of his bookbag. He lifted the bag and dropped it on his bed, putting his hands on his hips.

“I can't go up there looking so casual,” He mumbled, looking down at his basic skirt and shirt combo and shaking his head, “I'll just go through one of my dresses on really quick and I'll be done in a jiffy.” He walked over to one of his cases and pulled out a mass of blue fabrics.

3 minutes later, the cursing teenager could be seen running down the hall, apologizing for almost bumping into people and taking the stairs two at a time.

“Dammit! I should have know I would have trouble picking out a dress! Couldn't have just grabbed the first one you see could you Levy? Had to be picky.” In the ends, Latlevy only just made it to the event area in time for the speech to start. He plopped down next to his excited friend and groaned, slumping in his seat.

Anna jabbed his should happily, “OMG it's starting! I'm so excited!”

Latlevy brushed her hand of, “I can tell, I just want this to be over with so that I can go back to the room and play games or dance or something.” Anna rolled her eyes at her friends disinterested attitude and turned to look at the woman who stepped onto the stage while they was chattering.

Latlevy sighed, half-listening to the woman as she went on about the Caribbean and how important it is to blah blah blah. Normally the teenager would be excited right along with Anna, but he really wasn't feeling it today for some reason. Half-way through the speech it started to rain lightly, which was odd since the forecast said it would be sunny today. Luckily all the equipment was under a large shade, so the speech could continue, but most weren’t that lucky.

Thankfully for Anna, Latlevy happened to have an umbrella stored in the side straps of his bag. He set the open umbrella between the two and leaned his head back, running his hand through his bangs. Anna looked around, frowning quizzically, “Wasn't it supposed to be clear the entire ride? Where did all of this rain come from?”

She wasn't the only questioning this odd occurrence, people was chattering silently to each other in the back, some even getting up and leaving to get shelter. Latlevy shuddered suddenly, rubbing his gloved arms, “Anna...I think we should go back to our rooms too, I don't like this weather.”

“What!? But we will miss the end of the speech!” She thrust her hands at the new speaker, palms facing up, “I waited a long time for this! I can't leave without knowing the rest!”

Latlevy pointed up to the rapidly darkening sky, “Well I don't want to be out here without the weather's looking! There is definitely a storm coming and fast!” Anna opened her mouth to respond, but he cut her off, “And look, even the speakers are packing up.” He was right of course, most of the speakers were hurrying off of the deck, even the current one stopped talking and was getting ready to head out.

“Noooo! Come on man, it's just a little rain!” Anna pouted fiercely, thick eyebrows drawn together and a wicked glare at the leaving people. Latlevy stood up and pulled her to her feet.

“Come on Anna, let's go.” He started guiding the angry teenager back to the staircase he used to get up here. An announcement came from the speakers, telling everyone to get inside the ship.

Suddenly, a large wave hit the ship, rocking the massive boat harshly. The teenagers cried out as the was knocked to the ground, the slid down the slope of the ship until it rocked back to normal. As they scrambled to get up, another wave hit and sent them flying back down the deck. People could be heard screaming over the roaring wind that came as fast as the storm.

“WHAT'S GOING ON!!??” Anna screeched, clinging on to Latlevy’s middle as he desperately scrambled across the wet deck for something stable to grab on too.

“I DON’T KNOW!!! THIS STORM MAKES NO SENSE!!!” He gripped the back of Anna’s jacket tightly, grunting when another wave hit and sent them right against the rails of the ship. A large wave of water flew over the their heads, crashing down on the duo.

“Gah!” The entire ship tilted sideways, washing both of the high schoolers off of the the cruise and down to the ocean below. The only thought that the brunet had was, I really hope there are no sharks in these waters.

OoOoOoO

“Ugh…” A pounding headache greeted the young man as he struggled to get away from the dark tendrils of unconscious. The feel of something prickling against his cheeks cause him to twitch, his green eyes opening slightly to darkness. He tried to move his hand, but could only manage a few pitiful twitches of his fingertips. He tried again, this time managing to tuck them against his chest, palm flat against the ground.

He pushed himself up shakily, his hair falling over his shoulders and face like a curtain. He shook his head until he could see from a clear patch in the brown.

“What in the…” His eyes opened wide, he even tried to rub his eyes of an sleep left but the image around him didn't change. He was surrounded by trees, grass, and all sorts of shrubbery! He lowered his head forward so all of his hair hung down, then flipped it all back in one motion.

He got to his knees, wincing at the pain he felt on his body. He quickly checked himself over, other than small scratches on his skin and the dirt on his clothes, he was relatively fine. Broken sticks lied around him, and when he looked up he could see a path of broken tree limbs.

“Did I fall…?” He dug his nails into the ground, checking to see if the dirt was real and he wasn't just in that artificial forest the cruise ship had…!

The ship! I was on a ship in the middle of the sea! Why am I in some forest? Where is Anna!? God damn it all! The teenager pushed himself to his feet and stumbled.

He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled, “AAAANNNNNNAAAA!!!” in the most carrying voice that he could, he moved to step forward, but tripped over his bookbag.

He scowled at the bag, but shrugged it on and started walking through the trees, calling out his best friend’s name again.

Stranded in Sinnoh Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySat Jun 04, 2016 11:07 pm

Xander waved a hearty farewell to his best friend as he left the cafe. Although he was his own boss, he treated his self-made job as if it were a real profession. He worked from nine to five every weekday, and gave himself an hour long lunch break in the middle. However, this time, he only used half of it, since he was on a breakthrough. As he drove back to his lab, he recounted the conversation between himself and Elena, his closest and most trusted friend.

"I'm almost there! I can see it now. A thing of the future!" Xander had said to the blonde girl sitting across from him, biting into a bagel. "Crossing into different dimensions! Imagine the things we will learn!"

Elena swallowed the pastry quietly. He always went on about his inventions like this at lunch, and she always sat idly by and listened. However, something didn't seem right about this idea. If something went wrong, what would Xander do?

The man ran his mechanical fingers through his slick, green hair. He looked outside, looked down at his watch, and scrambled out of his chair. "Oh, look at the time, I'd better go. Here's the money for lunch, keep the change. I'll see you later." He rushed to hug the woman as he handed her the cash, and ran out hastily. Elena had been about to relay her worries to Xander, but it was to late, now. She sighed and continued eating her lunch, sliding the rest of his food onto her plate.

As he remembered the event, he realized that something seemed off about Elena. She seemed anxious. He made a mental note to apologize for running off so quickly, and continued driving back to his work space.

Two hours later, at 2:30 PM, Xander walked backwards to stare in glory at his creation. The tall, sleek, silver-colored machine stood like a rocket. It was cylindrical, with a half sphere on the top, two antennae poking out from either side. It was beautiful.

A machine that would allow someone to visit between dimensions. Oh, the knowledge that could be gained from other universes! He stepped inside, and decided for a test drive. He set the device to go to the closest dimension, and closed the door. He flicked a switch, and the large device started humming. However, it wasn't long until disaster struck. A large beeping sound rang in the green haired man's ears, and his ice blue eyes were filled with a flashing red. He tried to open the door, but it was locked tightly. He attempted to force it open, but it was no luck. He could break it open, but that would set him back months. At least like this, there was a chance that wherever he ended up, the machine would be fine enough that he could fix it easily with the correct parts.

Before he could even finish deciding, however, he was knocked out by the energy flowing through the air inside of the machine.

----------

When Xander next awoke, the machine door was popped open. He stuck his head out, and saw the lush greenery of a forest. There weren't many of those back in his dimension, and even those forests had technology everywhere, so he could assume he was in a different dimension.

Stepping outside of the overturned machine, he noticed it to be in tact, but with scratches here and there. Hopefully he wouldn't need to do much to fix it. But for now, what he needed to do most was find out as much about this world as he could. Then he heard the voice of what he could assume was a young man. He used his bionic hearing to locate the source of the sound, moving closer, but being careful. If anything attacked him, he knew he had a way to defend himself.

As Xander arrived at the source of the sound, he noticed a.. teenage girl? Or was it a teenage boy? He couldn't tell.

"Um, excuse me, miss or sir? Do you know where we are?" He decided he wouldn't tell anyone about the dimension hopping device unless he had to, and he didn't suspect he would need to. "You see, I got a little lost, and I can't find my way back home."

It wasn't a total lie. He honestly was lost and he couldn't entirely find his way back home, since it was in a different dimension. Then he heard another two voices coming from somewhere to the east. He pointed in that direction.

"I think I heard some voices over there, maybe we should go over there." He said, noticing that the boy or girl looked to be confused, possibly lost as well. "You look lost, too, and maybe one of the voices I heard was your friend you're looking for. And maybe they know where we are."

Without an answer, Xander started making his way over to the sound of the voices, and noticed they were both female. Then he heard talk that sounded like that of wizardry from the old fairy tales his mother and father had told him as a young child. Maybe this dimension was a magical one.

Suddenly, he remembered that his arm was clearly mechanical, and the boy or girl that he just met possibly saw it. If this truly was a world of magic, then bionics may not exist. It was too late now, however. Maybe he could lie his way out of that corner, too.

"Oh, my name is Xander, by the way. Pleased to make your acquaintance." He looked back at the young person behind him.

Stranded in Sinnoh Empty
PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySun Jun 05, 2016 12:48 am

Latlevy stepped over a fallen branch, holding up the edges of his dress so that none of the stray limbs would scratch or dirty it even more than his implied fall already did. Not to mention he has been picking twigs and crap out of his hair for the past five minutes. He couldn't believe he was stuck out in some random ass forest when he was literally in the middle of an ocean! It's infuriating to think about! The teenager angrily stamped on a stick with his wedge, snapping it with ease. He could hear the cries of various animals in the trees, but couldn't see any of them, and when he thinks about it...they feel a little familiar. But that's not his concern right now, he needs to find Anna!

“AAANNNNNNAAA!” He yelled again, half on a large rock. He listened for a second, then for three, but he heard no reply again. “Ugh!” He gripped his hair tightly, pulling on the healthy strands in frustration. While he was having his little fit about getting no response, a man walked into the clearing, and because the teenager was obviously not paying any attention, he was spooked when the man spoke.

“Gah!” Latlevy leaped back a few feet, whirling around to stare at the taller man in shock, his eyebrow twitching at tad. The teenager gripped the fabric of his dress tightly, listening to the words of this...oddly dressed man. Seriously why was he in an expensive looking suit in the middle of the freaking wilderness? Not that Latlevy can say anything since he is wearing a fancy dress.

“Er...No sir, I don't know where we are, I was hoping to that somebody else would know... So I can't really help you with that.” Latlevy answered, frowning quizzically when the man start talking about hearing some voices, but the teenager couldn't hear a damned thing. “What are you talking about? I can't hear anything.”

When the man mentioned that there might be a chance that Anna was one of the voices he was hearing, the male perked up from his slightly lowered position. There might be a chance that this man was telling the truth, but he isn't about to trust some random man in the middle of the forest just like that.

Stranger Danger 101 bud.

But, there could be a chance that he was one of the people shipwrecked like him...but he doesn't look nearly as lost as the teenager felt right now.

“Hey, wait up!” But it also happens to be that he is the only human contact he has had since he woke up, and as a social creature, he must have somebody to talk to that isn't some random tree. So when the man immediately walked off to where he pointed earlier without waiting for the teen, the effeminate boy hurried to catch up with him, “Learn to wait up if you're planning to walk with someone dammit! Ugh!” Thankfully the teenager had rather long legs himself, though the other was clearly taller, so he caught up with the green haired man with relative ease.

Before the 17 year old could make any comment to the man, he heard distant voices up ahead. He could feel his hopes rising with his pace, until he realized that neither voice sounded ANYTHING like Anna. He sighed, slowing back down his pace until he was behind the older man again.

When the older man finally thought to introduce himself to the teenager, Latlevy didn't say anything a second, then he spoke up. “My name is Latlevy, Nice to meet you too, Xander.” Latlevy frowned when the edge of his dress caught on something, stopping to gently ease it off of the dirty branch.

“Damn bushes.” He muttered under his breath, brushing off the dirt the best that he could. After seeing that some of the dirt refused to come off, the teenager cursed lightly and just started walking again, “Should have packed a better outfit for this environment, I worked to hard to make this for it to get ruined in some damn forest. Maybe some actual boots will do too, these shoes cost me too much to just go prancing in some foggy, muddy shrubbery hell.” He complained, flipping his hair back over his shoulders. Of course, he can just fix it later, but complaining is helping him forget that his best friend is lost somewhere.

He adjusted the straps of his bookbag and looked forward so he could brush all the crap out of his path. The voices he heard over the distance couldn't be that much farther off, and maybe they can give a little insight on their situation.

Chrystine finally saw the voice's owner. It was a young woman in a long dress of orange and red hues. She had red hair and amber eyes, and she was about as tall as Chrystine herself. Chrystine frowned at the woman's words. "Harbour key?" She questioned. "What does a shipyard have to do with anything?" She suddenly realized that she might be talking to a muggle, and she blushed. "I mean... you must have misheard me... my transportation device must have thrown me off-course, is all I meant..."

She tossed her hair out of her eyes, eyeing the woman interestedly. "So I don't suppose you have any idea where to go from here?"

PostSubject: Re: Stranded in Sinnoh   Stranded in Sinnoh EmptySun Jun 05, 2016 3:06 am

Polyxena looked worried into the sky. The dark thunderclouds didn't bode well. A few droplets were already falling from the sky. She prayed the storm wouldn't cause as much casualties as the last time. Five years ago, thunder hit one of the trees and caused a large scaled forest fire. A lot of animals and fairies lost their lives in it. Polyxena hoped it was not going to happen again. "Bmayca, bnudald ic..." (Please, protect us...) The fairy prayed to no one in particular. It was not like the thunder guardians could really protect them. She, as a fairy, was seen as a guardian of nature and life, but her powers were not that strong. They had been unable to protect the forest too.

The first flash appeared in the sky. The wind picked up and water started pouring down. Fairies and animals alike scampered away to find shelter. One fairy however, flied towards her instead. It was her best friend, Sakura. She seemed to be in a panic. "Polyxena, oui ryja du ramb sa! E lyh'd veht Lire. Fryd ev cusadrehk rybbahc du ran?" (Polyxena, you have to help me! I can't find Lire. What if something happens to her?) Polyxena looked at her friend with worry. Lire was Sakura's little sister, and a really sweet girl. She understood why her friend was so worried, and she was actually pretty worried herself. Polyxena also knew her friend well enough to know she would try to find Lire, even in this storm. It seems she didn't have a lot of choice. She couldn't let Sakura go out there on her own. "E femm ramb oui muug vun ran. Fa cruimt rinno. Cra luimt pa eh tyhkan." (I will help you look for her. We should hurry. She could be in danger.) Sakura nodded and they started flying through the rain.

It was pretty hard with all the wind and the rain. Polyxena's purple wings glistened from the water. It was a good thing their wings were water repellant. Not all animals were able to fly in rain. A loud rumbling could be heard in the sky. It was thundering, and it was getting closer. Polyxena was getting anxious. She wanted to find a place to hide. The fairy had always been afraid of thunder. She really wanted to help Sakura, but it was really difficult to not panic. Over the howling wind and the sound of rain, she thought she could hear someone. "Cusauha, ramb sa! E's cdilg!" (Someone, help me! I'm stuck!)

Polyxena stopped and looked around. Sakura looked back at her. "U dnurg i nieht myliyri. Leapi ud um Lire.!" (I think I heard someone. Maybe it is Lire.) Without waiting for Sakura, she flew into the direction of the sound. She could hear the shout for help again, louder this time. Then she spotted the owner of the voice. "Lire!" Polyxena flew towards the fairy child. It seemed she was stuck under a tree that got blown down. It was a good thing she didn't get crushed. Sakura flew behind and moved to the tree. "Nyct yr, Zi zucc nicb ayo." (Hold on, We will help you.) It took a while, but the two fairies managed to free Lire from under the tree. Sakura hugged her little sister once she got out. Polyxena watched the two siblings. "U zem my zyhhuit epyod ayo. Ehi ayo nohd? Ser ayo mducc wca?" (I was so worried about you. Are you hurt? Can you still fly?) Polyxena couldn't help but smile at the reunion, but that moment didn't even last a minute. A light appeared in the sky above them. The siblings were going to be hit by the lightning! Polyxena's body moved on her own. She dashed forward, intending to push the two away. Then, everything went from white, to black.

Was she alive? Polyxena stirred a bit. Her purple eyes slowly fluttered open. Her body was sore. This was a sign she was alive, right? Polyxena sat up. She felt rather weak. It was as if all magic had been drained out of her body. There was something that was not right around here, but she didn't know what it was. Her memories were rather foggy. She tried to remember what happened last night. "Ud zem mdyhlurk... Ert li ert Sakura zihi dhaurk dy wurt Lire. Zi mefit nih whyl ortih e dhii ert dnir... cukndrurk mdhosg li em I dhuit bomnurk dnil ezea... U nybi dnia ehi tyurk zicc. U nybi dnia mohfufit..." (It was storming... And me and Sakura were trying to find Lire. We saved her from under a tree and then... lightning struck me as I tried pushing them away... I hope they are doing well. I hope they survived...)

The fairy slowly got up. If they were alive, they probably were at their home. He just had to go there. That was not difficult, right? Polyxena looked around. Somehow, the forest felt strangely unfamiliar. Normally, she could feel the energy and magic of the forest surrounding her. Now, she didn't feel anything. It was rather weird. Maybe the trees could tell her where she was? It was worth a try. The fairy put her hand on a nearby tree and closed her eyes. She tried asking it for directions. Usually, the trees possessed a soul. Yet, the tree didn't answer her pleas. That was very odd.

Polyxena was starting to get worried now. "Znihi el U? Dnum um ryd Zione... Ert zna el u wiicurk my zieg?" (Where am I? This is not Zione... And why am I feeling so weak?) She had to find her way back, and fast. She had heard bad things happen to fairies who leave the forest. If the storm had somehow blown her out of the forest, she could be in danger. This was bad, this was really bad. The fairy looked around her again. What way was she supposed to go to? She just didn't know. She had to try her best to suppress her panic. Panicking was not a good idea. She closed her eyes and tried to calm down. Once she was calm enough, she started walking in a random direction, hoping she was not going to come across any dangerous creatures.

Xander chuckled at Latlevy's annoyance. But something felt weird, now that he thought about it. Why would someone wear such fancy clothing to a dirt-filled environment, and then complain about it? Maybe it was just a custom in this dimension, but he thought he should get some answers any way that he could think of.

"So, why would you come to a forest all dressed up like that? Especially if it's your favorite?" The green haired man looked over his shoulder to the, what he could now figure out, male figure. "Although, I guess I shouldn't ask that, since I was walking around in a suit. Although, I have so many just like this."

He stepped over a log as he entered a small clearing where he noticed two girls conversing. He cleared his throat, and walked over to the duo.

"Hello there." Xander said casually, as if he were talking to old friends. He set his hand in his pocket, hiding the metallic object away, cautious, as the dimension he was in could easily not have technology. "You wouldn't happen to know where we are, would you? You see, we're both lost, and I was hoping for directions."

Transportation... device? Ellychnia was now even more confused. She knew that various traders used carts to transport their goods and services, but the wording that the girl used was just... off. The girl seemed to be already embarrassed about something if her red cheeks were anything to go by though, and so Elly decided not to pursue the subject further. At least for now anyways.

Removing the look of slight confusion from her features, Elly instead smiled weakly, "I'm afraid I haven't the foggiest where to go next..." she trailed off as she heard other voices, coming from not far away. They appeared to be shouting something. In the back of her mind, Elly hoped that maybe it would be Sorcha or Tawnie... but the chances weren't good. It didn't sound like their voices after all.

"It seems like we're not the only ones around here though... maybe someone else will know better..."

The whole situation was just weird. First she woke up somewhere she couldn't remember going, and without her two travelling companions anywhere nearby. Secondly, she couldn't use any of her magic.... the thought of which sent a small shiver up her spine, causing her to shrink into herself a little, hugging her arms to her chest once again...
And thirdly, the odd girl who said things that made no sense to her.

Ellychnia had always been up for adventure before, but before, she'd always had magic to back her up. Now, she couldn't even feel anything vaguely magical from her surroundings. It was disconcerting to say the least, especially for one such as herself who had grown up alongside magic. Although she didn't depend on it to survive, she felt ill at ease knowing that it wasn't present.

The young witch was brought out of her thoughts as the rustling of another person - no, people - moving into the clearing was heard. A man in very formal clothing greeted them, but he too seemed to not know where they were. What in the depths of hell was going on?

Brought up to be polite, even in situations such as this, Elly still answered the man with a small shake of her head.

[Okay peeps since we're kinda all together except Ev i'll add the post order now. Which is Me, Kit, Suds, Silver, Ev from now on ^-^ If anyone has any problems with this order lemme know and i'll see what I can do~]

Latlevy eyed Xander sceptically for his comment, now where does he get off talking about HIS fashion sense? It's not like he wanted to be trapped in a forest with less that appropriate attire! God. He better not step in any animal poop or he swears he is going to go off on the nearest living thing! He has Brass Knuckles in his bag and he isn't afraid to deck someone in their stupid face to express his pure frustration with this entire day!

Latlevy let out an exhausted breath, lowering his head to mess with his long bangs by running his thin fingers through them. “Yeah, I wouldn't be wearing this if I didn't have it on when I got lost,” he grumbled bitterly, “I should have just worn my original clothes.” A normal skirt and t-neck would have been far better than a dress, even if the skirt is debatable. He's seen plenty of female characters running around on adventures with skirts...but that was also in unrealistic media and purely for damn fanservice. Shorts would have worked much better, but does he have in shorts?

No, he didn't pack any in his bookbag, those are all in his suitcases back at the ship. The ship.... Dammit! The teen growled inwardly, All of my clothes is back on the ship! Almost all of my stuff is back on the ship and I don't have any money to go buy my own! Augh! This entire day is a pile of elephant shit! The boy slowed down his walk so he can seethe bitterly in peace, his hands gripped into tight fists as he grumbled French curses under his breath.

In his little fit, he failed to notice the log the other man stepped over, so promptly tripped over it and landed on his hands. He hissed and pushed himself back up, dusting off his dress for the 50th time today. He combed through the edges of his hair to get the dirt from the fall off, and readjusted the bandana that was trying to slip back off his head.

“What a fucking sweet day, I swear.” He whispered, finally looking up to the people in the clearing that the other man was talking too. Latlevy stared at the two girls with one raised eyebrow, the way the redhaired one was dressed was completely adorable, gods that dress is so gorgeous! But the other seems to be wearing one of those weird robes he sees on wizards in some of his games, what did she watch to much LotR? Gotta admit though, her hair color was pretty damn nice, he hasn't seen such a nice shade of silver since that really awesome Sephiroth cosplayers at the Gamercon.

When Xander asked if they knew where they was, the feminine teenager looked at them hopefully with his green eyes. But all of that hope flew out the window when the redhead shook her head in the negative, causing the brunet to groaned in exasperation, “Dammit! Does anybody know where the hell we are!? Is everyone lost in this damned forest?” He complained loudly, aggressively flipping his hair back with his hand again, “Ugh!”

Xander wondered what his luck could be, having met three separate people, who were all lost. He looked around, and saw a stump in the ground. Moving over to it, he sat down and crossed his left leg over his right.

"OK, so the facts that we have right now so far is that we're all lost, and we're in a forest. We should try to recount the steps that led us into these woods." The green haired man said calmly and precisely. It was worded like a suggestion, but it was spoken as if it were an order. "I'll go first. I can't remember much, but what I can remember was that I was in my work area, and something knocked me out, and I ended up here."

It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth. He still didn't think he should tell anyone about the dimension hopping device, especially if his assumption of this world being magical was true. Although, it was strange. Multiple people lost in the same area.

Chrystine took in the new arrivals with guarded interest. One was a male in strange clothing. She vaguely recalled seeing such an apparel on muggle men before... so this place was non-magical, then. The other person... she wasn't sure whether the individual was a male or a female, as they were dressed in a long dress with high heels. When the individual spoke, though, it was clear that it was a male...

She nodded in agreement with the man's exasperation. "Well this is just great," She muttered. "Four people in one place and not a person knows where we are... It's too big of a coincidence, and I don't particularly believe in coincidences. Something brought us all here..."

She glanced at the muggle man as he spoke, revealing that he had been at his work before blacking out and waking up in the forest. "I was traveling with my family when something went wrong.... I also blacked out and woke up here," she revealed quietly.
