Fiery Chasm... The location to supposedly have a TM known as Flamethrower... An item that Jak had deemed necessary to learn Flamethrower... Learning it naturally just seems almost little to impossible at this rate. Something Obera had suggested he should acquire.

The travel to this fiery chasm would take some time to get there. Luckily Jak and his partner for this trip Obera, is almost at their destination. Being able to feel the heat from where they currently were. It was definitely getting hotter.

"Wonder how much further... It can't be much further... I can feel the heat from here." he said as he looked over to Obera as the two walked towards their destination.

Jak repeated that he was alright to Obera as she asked him once more if he was alright. He thought she heard it before, but he figured she might have missed it. As the two started to get oriented once more, Obera started to make a comment about something that was a bit more concerning.

Jak looked towards the direction Obera mentioned. What he saw was two Houndoom, and a Houndour. One of the Houndoom started running straight towards him and Obera. ”I agree.” he said as he prepared for what was to come. After a few second, the other two Pokémon followed behind. The negative energy in the area continued to increase as the darkness spread beyond the area they were in.

As the three Pokémon approached the ‘couple’, Jak couldn’t help but be alarmed at the rate the houndoom was approaching. It definitely was hostile, and it didn’t look like it was in a talking mood either. Jak quickly placed the Flamethrower TM they had found on his head. That instant, he forgot one of his moves and figured out what he was doing wrong with previous attempts at flamethrower.

He never understood how the heck these things even worked. However, as the Pokémon had approached them, Jak quickly unleashed a torrent of flame in front of the Pokémon’s path, attempting to deter it from coming any closer.
