Fiery Chasm... The location to supposedly have a TM known as Flamethrower... An item that Jak had deemed necessary to learn Flamethrower... Learning it naturally just seems almost little to impossible at this rate. Something Obera had suggested he should acquire.

The travel to this fiery chasm would take some time to get there. Luckily Jak and his partner for this trip Obera, is almost at their destination. Being able to feel the heat from where they currently were. It was definitely getting hotter.

"Wonder how much further... It can't be much further... I can feel the heat from here." he said as he looked over to Obera as the two walked towards their destination.

Obera couldn't help but have her face turn slightly red once Jak decided to say that, she often wondered why he'd just be nice, and why that caused her to act like an idiot most of the time. "I'll keep that in mind." Obera said glaceing away to make it look like she was scouting the area, she was really just not wanting to confront him on the red face thing. When she did look over she saw something slightly far away, looked like another path that lead across the area. "We could try that over there." Obera said pointing over to it, she slightly wanted to take a path that didn't involve lava since it was hard to maneuver in it, tough while fighting.

"We should stick to places that don't restrict our movement by much, while we are dealing with our own type we don't know if another like me who can use a rock move is out there, best to be safe." Obera said explaining why she'd want to not go through the lava.

Jak smiled as she said that she would keep the thought in mind. After looking around for a moment Obera spotted a pathway they could take before he did. Mentioning that they should try to avoid going into the lava. Mainly because it would restrict their movement. Jak never really thought about the fact it would be bad to be in the lava if someone with similar abilities as Obera came in.

"Heh... Honestly didn't think of it that way. But more reason to avoid going through it." he responded as he started headed in the direction Obera had pointed out.

Obera gave a short nod as she walked alongside Jak, there was one other reason she didn't want to go through that area, she had sensed another besides her and Jak, she felt someone watching them, nothing major she just felt like they were being followed. Yet she didn't do anything, Obera wanted to see just what this Pokemon would do, though just in case Obera reached inside her pack grabbing one of the last sitrus berries she had, she ate it quietly to not get noticed by Jak, mostly because she didn't want him thinking she needed the energy boost. "Jak, what exactly happened while you were looking for me here?" Obera asked feeling that knowledge might come in handy.

Jak continued to walk along the pathway towards the land that sat across the gap of lava that had blocked their original path. "Had an incident with some firetypes..." he said as he closed his eyes for a moment. "Two little shits that think they can attack anyone they want... Eventually the rest of the pack came and blamed me for the incident..." he said with a mild sigh. "Wasn't the easiest battle... At least half of them had the ability to absorb fire... Only knowing one move that actually hurts them without being absorbed is sorta... taxing." he said as he glanced over towards Obera. "I am not too worried about it now... You can shoot rocks at them if they happen to come out and play again..." he said with a slight chuckle.

At this point they were just about at the natural bridge across the river of lava. Jak took out one of his own sitrus berries and began to eat it. He looked over towards Obera and asked if she would like one. "Would you like one? Extra energy is always useful in some ways." he said with a slight smile. He wasn't aware that she had previously eaten one though.

"If anything comes my way I'll be sure to beat them." Obera said as she looked at the item offered to her, she decided to take it, she always took what was given to her, despite the fact she had already eaten one. "Thanks." Obera said as she ate the berry, having just ate one she didn't enjoy the taste as much as when she first had one, whatever. As she ate it she couldn't help but feel the same presence she had felt before, she also felt several newer ones in addition to that, Obera started getting on a more guarded stance. "Jak, i think somethings close." Obera said as she looked ahead, little did she know they were about to get involved in something she knew all to well, a turf war. Obera felt completly full of energy but she slightly worried for Jak. "Here, take this. it's a reviver seed." Obera said handing him her last one, least she could do after he gave her the berry.

Jak smiled as she stated that she would beat em if they had trouble with those canines. However, Jak wasn't too sure if he would run into them again.

Obera thanked Jak for the berry as she ate it. At some point Obera had gotten into a more defensive stance. Informing Jak that she thinks something was close by. She offered Jak a reviver seed. He accepted it as he nodded and held onto it. "Unsure if I will need it, but thanks." he said with a smile as he looked around closer. He then began to make his way to the top part of the bridge. Just as he got to the top of the bridge, he froze at the sight of two large groups of pokemon lined up on each side. Two of the larger pokemon seemed to be in the center.

The whole situation did not seem very friendly. "Uhh... This doesn't look good." he said softly as he watched the group.

"You know damn well this is our turf!" the arcanine shouted towards the Typhlosion. Except, this quilava didn't look to well on its part. It seemed to have multiple injuries. Although despite noticing this, Jak couldn't tell how bad the injuries were.

"We... might wanna get outta here before they notice us." he said as he went to turn around. However he froze when he saw the same growlithe they had encountered from before. "Your not going anywhere..." the canine stated. Jak quickly turned towards the two groups of pokemon and noticed a second growlith running up behind the its pack.

It seemed to hesitate on its approach towards the alpha of the pack as it noticed the alpha getting angrier by the second. However, that growlithe would not need to inform the pack leader about the two charmeleon on the natural bridge... It would smell them soon enough as the wind direction changed enough for it to be down wind from them.

"No this does not look good." Obera said as she assessed the situation, the Typhlosion seemed to be hurt in several places, despite the fact they were both fire types Obera didn't see this going well for the Typhlosion. "I wonder who's in the right." Obera asked knowing this was a slightly tricky subject, she had no idea what belonged to who but she could tell that the Typhlosion wasn't looking for a fight, Obera glanced to see another Typhlosion and a Quilava on his side, they looked worried but for the one standing up to the Arcanine but he stood tall not worried despite his wounds.

"You know damn well this is my land, just because I'm wounded does not mean you can just come in here and take what I've given most of my life to obtain." The Typhlosion says confidently, he wasn't about to deal with this right now, with all his wounds he didn't want to deal with this right now.

"Looks like We've been spotted." Obera said as she got into a defensive stance, she was ready for whatever was in store for them.

The Arcanine let a grin cross his face. "Well... if you believe it is really your land... Then prove it." the canine said with a sinister looking grin. The typhlosion definitely looked as if it was not going to back away, just because of its injuries. However the arcanine was not going to pity it.

As the wind direction changed just as the arcanine was about to say another word. He stopped and sniffed the air. It let out a slight growl and turned his head towards the three growlithe behind him. The arcanine nodded slowly as he bolted off towards the direction of the scent. The growlithe began to approach the other group of pokemon with fearce grins across their face. Seeming to prepare to attack.

"Yea, I agree!" he said as he stood his ground. The arcanine quickly approaching from the other side. They were pretty much surrounded at this point. The only weak point at the moment to get away would be the growlithe that was blocking their exit. However, who says that was the only canine there?

"Well... isn't it our old friend... The troublesome charmeleon... You brought a friend." the Arcanine said in a dark tone. "You know this is my land... And you know what happens if you attack my pack." it said alarmingly calm.

Jak stood there for a moment, not attacking. He was hoping to just get out of this without a scuffle. However this was highly unlikely. "Again, I didn't attack... You did, we are simply passing through..." Jak said in a colder than usual tone. He really didn't want to deal with this group again.

"Not happening..." the arcanine said as it let loose a large torrent of flame towards the two charmeleon. It was prepared to jump out of the way at a moment notice.

The Typhlosion gave a small sigh, he knew this wasn't going to end well for him if things progressed like this. "You know as well as i do, despite the fact i am wounded i can still beat you." He said confidently, he had noticed the arrival of two newcomers but hadn't paid any attention to them until now. "You two, the gold and normal Charmeleons" He shouted out so they could hear, he waited a moment till he knew he had their attention. "The Pokemon here seems to have a problem with you, how about just for now we ignore each other and fight these weaklings." He said offering a mutual agreement not to attack each other. When the Arcanine left him with his small pack the Typhlosion grinned. "Underestimating me a bit to much now." He said with a smirk as his fist got engulfed in lightning. "Going to regret that." he said as he made a beeline towards the Arcanine, while he was distracted he was gonna bash him.

"You'd have better luck trying to intimidate a rock." Obera said in her normal tone of voice, she didn't care much for this Pokemon's attempt at sounding dark, she could just do it normally didn't need to pretend. "And to your question, i shall not fight you." Obera said in response to the Typhlosions question. Obera had quickly raised up a barrage of rocks not as an attack but as a gurad, this endured the flames and acted as a shield.

Jak nodded in agreement with Obera's idea. It would be wise not to have both parties attacking them. The flamethrower the Arcanine seemed to throw out towards the two. Was deflected off the rocks Obera had summoned.

"A rock, then are you that rock?" he retaliated as he stared at the two. Just as he heard a crackling of energy he quickly turned around to see the fist coming straight at him. He than used his extreme speed ability to dodge the attack. Being a little late the attack did land, but just barely. He slid to a stop just behind the Typhlosion as this happened. Wincing slightly at the electrical contact. "So, you can fight." he said in almost joking tone. The attack did hurt, as he wasn't used to too many electrical attacks.

"For how long?" he added as he started to radiate heat form his body. Everything in its surroundings could possibly be burned. The pokemon was unaware of the Typhlosion's ability to absorb fire based attack like himself.

"As much as I don't want to get involved... It seems we have no choice." he stated as a white fiery glow of energy began to form.

The Arcanine recognized this as he was radiating the heat. It started to rush towards Jak as it continued to radiate its heat. Jak fired the beam of energy towards the canine, being sure it would not go anywhere near the other fire types that was his temporary allies at the moment if the pokemon did manage to dodge his attack.

The 3 growlithe were approaching the rest of the pokemon on the other side. One of them unleashed a torrent of flame towards the group of pokemon while the other two ran around to the opposite side during the distraction. Each one preparing to Take down the members on the side of the group.

"If it's to protect those i care about." The Typhlosion stated as the heatwave blew up engulfing the entire area, almost all at once the attack seemed to stop around the Typhlosion circling around him, this mixed with the lightning created a sort of red lightning crackle that pulsated throughout the Typholsions body. "I'll kill you if it means no harm to them." He said his voice cold as ice, he then dashed towards the Arcanine using quick attack to speed himself up, he dragged his fist closer to the ground kicking up some rocks along with it, when he got near he brought it up and made an attempt to attack the Arcanines side. "Your fight is with me, not those kids." He said in close range to the Arcanine.

Along with Jak Obera had fired her rock shield at the Arcanine hoping to hit him, either or she'd get a power boost from using the move so fair's fair.

The Quilava and other Typhlosion quickly rolled up and went straight for the other Growlithes using Rollout to attack them.

The Arcanine saw all the attacks coming in all at once, however there was no way he could manage to dodge all of them. He decided that the Typhlosion was going to be his focus, since it was the largest threat at the moment. Petty grudges are not going to help at the moment. The rocks and the charged up lightning like attack were a serious threat. He quickly attempted to jump out of the way of the rocks, but only to have the Typhlosion's thunder punch strike him directly on his side. This caused him to fall to the ground briefly.

He then noticed the beam of energy coming towards him from where the rocks had originated also. Quickly rolling to the side the beam had missed. It had struck one of the growlithe that were currently engaging in battle in the background.

Just as that had happened the typhlosion in that battle in the background had curled up in a ball and rolled straight through the flames. Seemingly being deflected by the spinning motion of the pokemon. It then struck the growlithe producing the flames.

The two growlithe that had previously attempted to surround them and take the others down. The one being struck by Jak's beam of energy had flinched and lost his momentum in his attack. One of the Quilava had also curled up into a ball earlier and struck it. The pokemon further taking damage. The pokemon silently whined as it was now in some serious pain.

The other growlithe that was going to take down one of the fire types in the other group, now instead used the move to catch the now rolling pokemon. It slid across the ground and eventually gave way. It hopped over the pokemon as it rolled past him since his tactic didn't quite work.

As all this had happened, the Arcanine let out a growl. It may have been clear to others that he was not going to win. Despite the injuries the typhlosion had. However, losses started to show on his side. It was not good for him. He just stood his ground, not attacking at the moment. As if he was contemplating on whether to give. But being hard headed like he was. That would most likely never come until the situation is absolutely dire.

"Doesn't look good for you Arcanine." Jak said in an attempt to make it give up early since it was obvious to him about the situation. "Not good for you!" it said after it jumped up and back towards the direction of the battle still facing them. It sent a large blast of fire towards the group. However, it didn't look as if it would hit them at all. It collided with the ground and the ground started to crack. The ground starting to give way.

Jak noticed this, however due to him being distracted by it. The growlithe had dug into the ground without anyone noticing. Quickly appearing from below Jak striking him. He was knocked back taking heavy damage from both the chunks of land that came up as the canine attacked him. He landed close enough to the main land where the bridge remained stable as the rest began to fall down.

The growlithe pinned him to the ground. Jak attempted to get the pokemon off him as that attack had struck him critically causing him to lose a lot of his strength. The growlithe prepared to unleash a torrent of flame at point blank.

Obera let out a small growl considering her attack had missed, the Thunder Punch still managed to deal some damage but something about not hitting him dead on made her mad, she didn't get the power boost she would normally get from using the move, since it didn't connect. Obera started to gather more, her intent was to attack the bigger threat but something seemed to require her attention more. Fang threw the rocks at the Pokemon Pinning Jak to the ground, they hit and due to the type it dealt enough damage to make him fall off of Jak, afterwards she went back to focusing on the battle but something the Typhlosion did slightly caught her off guard, what it did was pick up Fang and Jak for a moment, he didn't say anything but once he did he jumped into the air and then down forcing an earthquake to happen around them, this being a earth attack would deal more damage, twice as much if any Pokemon were underground at the time.

While lifting them up it also managed to get hit by the fire attack, which in turn just strengthend him due to his natural ability.

Jak let his head fall to the ground as he saw the pokemon that had him pinned down get slammed with a large rock. He knew exactly where it came from. However, at the current moment... He didn't have the energy to move.

Jak groaned as the Typhlosion picked him up. The previous attack that had struck him hurt badly. The moment the pokemon jumped into the air with him and Obera. He quickly attempted to hold on as the pokemon came crashing into the ground. The remaining pieces of the bridge collapsed as several large shock waves were sent outward. The other fire types that were allied to the typhlosion that had the same move also jumped into the air to enhance the attack even further.

This would be a crippling blow to anything underground and those that can't protect themselves from its affects above ground. Jak reached into his bag as he was being held to pull out a sitrus berry. Even though this would not heal any of the heavy bruises that were to form from that crippling attack. At least he would have some energy to keep himself alive.

Despite being across the river of lava from the three pokemon. The shockwaves still met up with the Arcanine. On top of that, the other pokemon in the typhlosion's group, having joined in on the mass of earthquakes. It was not avoidable at this point, even if he jumped up high enough to avoid most of the shockwaves. The other pokemon's shockwaves would hit him for worse damage from him landing on moving ground. He gritted his teeth as he was forced to have the shockwaves impact him. Attempting to keep himself as steady as possible.

The growlithe made no attempt to attack after they had been hit with the mass of tremors. The Arcanine glared at them as he noticed this. However, he wouldn't be able to hold this up. He was the alpha, and if he forced them to continue... Someone would challenge him eventually for his stupidity... At least that was what was going through his head.

The Typhlosion set both of the Charmeleons down and looked at his opponent, he had a strange smirk on his face though decided not to taunt this Pokemon, he was wearing down because of his wounds, it would be best to just let them retreat. "It's over, just leave and I'll forget this all happened, keep fighting and I'll make sure you'll never come back." The Pokemon said threatening, Fang and Jak should remember, despite the fact this Pokemon was on their side, it was a means to an end not a actual partnership, he was still slightly feral despite talking.

The Typhlosion had one hand out, he clenched his fist and created a massive spark of lighting in it, all he was doing was threatening the other Pokemon, showing he could still keep this fight going. "If you're really a leader, you should know the best decision right now." He said staring at the Pokemon with cold eyes.

Fang didn't say anything but stared at the two Pokemon, she couldn't help but be remind about her home, she shook her head to rid herself of these thoughts and kept her calm attitude. "I think we might be done here Jak, he looks like he's got this handled." Obera said closing her eyes and waiting for what the Arcanine.
