Clara, after visiting town to see if she can get her ribbons put together as one. Discovering that she would have to do this herself. Clara set off to the forest to find a more permanent material to bind the ribbons together.

The two ribbons she wanted to bind together, was currently being worn. A two sided ribbon, colored gold on one side, and pink on the other. On further inspection this ribbon could be distinguished as two ribbons that had been somewhat stitched together to form a single ribbon. The stitching, not being strong enough to be a permanent bond.

Clara had been traversing the path along the forest's entrance. Silently walking along the shadows from the trees. The place wasn't her most favorite segment of the forest. It was sometimes considered, the deeper part of pecha.

She traveled the path, watching how the shadows moved along with the trees in the gentle wind. Despite being a bit darker here then in pecha. She enjoyed nature, however it was shown. Being in a pretty good mood after going on that adventure with her new friend. The gold ribbon was proof of their new friendship, from what she was told. Finding the joy ribbon along the adventure, she wanted to combine the two items to show when and where they became friends. Giving more reason to find a method to bond these items together better.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptySun Apr 19, 2015 1:58 pm

Sova rolled his eyes at the eevee who refused to listen to him at all. "Uhg.... No wonder I found you half dead.", he commented, eliciting yet another growl from the eevee as he bolted off towards the two heracross. Maybe he could knock both of them out before Dusk could even catch up and put herself in danger! His fur still spiked up, he spun around and slammed his tail into one of the heracross' face, landing the first blow. It retorted by charging forward with its head bowed and its horn outright, glowing, as it attempted to use Megahorn. The glaceon narrowly avoided the attack by ducking and firing a Shadow Ball at the thing's face, causing it to fall on its side. As the second heracross charged at him with an arm raised for Close Combat, a little brown ball of fur leaped onto its face, blinding it.

Dusk took off right behind the glaceon, though she couldn't keep up at all. It took her a moment to actually join him in the fight, which gave her time to think of a strategy. She figured she couldn't actually do much damage to two heracross, so she decided on a different plan. She leaped onto one's head and blocked its vision with her body, just long enough for the glaceon to ram into its legs and knock it to the ground. She leaped off as it fell, not wanting to get hurt along with it.

Despite being annoyed that the eevee refused to listen to him and put herself in danger, Sova still took advantage of the opportunity she'd given him. He rammed into the heracross' legs while it was blinded, knocking it to the ground. Then, seeing that Dusk was no longer near it, he lifted himself onto his front paws and brought his tail down on the thing's back, slamming the spiky flail-like tail into it. However, it didn't seem to be quite enough to knock the bug out as it rose back to his feet, prompting him to back away. The other heracross got back to its feet as well, though it seemed to be feeling its injuries less than the first.

While the battle took place, two little orange mushroom.... bug.... things.... scurried around within the foliage of a tree near the ralts. The two waited until the ralts was all alone before leaping down above the lone creature with the goal of attacking, maybe seeing if it had anything worth stealing.

The two heracross, seeing that the glaceon was proving difficult to fight, decided to focus on the much more vulnerable eevee, closing in on her. Sova bolted towards Dusk as the two heracross tried to attack her. He bit onto the eevee's scruff and carried her out of the immediate range of the two attackers before dropping her and noticing that the ralts was having some issues as well, with some weaker opponents. Perfect! "Help her, I don't need help and you don't like me.", he suggested as he pointed a paw at the ralts, prompting the eevee to look in the direction he was pointing and notice what was happening.

Clara watched as the battle went on. However, she was too focused on making sure she kept her distance from the others as an odd mushroom like pokemon came up from behind her. Just as it got mere inches away from her, it released its potent stun spore. Catching Clara completely off guard, she attempted to run away as fast as possible, accidentally leaving a copy of herself in the spot she was at. However she had already inhaled a dangerous dose of the spore.

The spore quickly taking effect, she was left there helpless to defend herself. "He -cough- HELP!!" she coughed as she collapsed to the ground. She didn't realize they had already seen what was happening. The pokemon then hopped towards her. She attempted to reach for her bag, attempting to grab a cheri berry from it. It was the only thing she could think of to help her. However she was completely numb. She had no control of her body at the moment as she laid there in pain.

Cheri berry came from Jak's Inventory, it would be idea to have the berry found by one of your characters

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptyFri Apr 24, 2015 9:07 pm

"Gladly!", Dusk replied to the glaceon before bolting off to help the defenseless ralts.
Normally, she would have wanted to do the opposite of what Sova told her, but not with someone in danger. Plus, he was right; she honestly didn't want to help him if she could choose to help someone else instead. She grabbed a spike that appeared to be from a cacnea off the ground in her mouth before tackling the paras that was closer to the ralts. She then jerked her head to toss the spike at the farther away paras, hitting it on the forehead and piercing it, albeit only slightly.

She leaped off the paras she'd tackled, spinning around and whipping her tail at it as it attempted to get up, knocking it back to the ground. She then ran over to the ralts to check if it was okay. "Are you alright!?", she questioned, looking back to make sure that the two paras weren't up yet. She hadn't aimed to knock them out, just to distract them for now.

Sova glanced back at the eevee as she bolted off, relieved that she'd actually listened to him for once. While he was distracted, one of the heracross decided to get in a cheap shot, punching him in the face rather hard with Close Combat. However, despite the typing advantage, he didn't seem severely injured as one would expect, more like just agitated. These heracross weren't nearly strong enough to really do all that much damage to him in one hit. "Ow....", he muttered, a bit of icy mist seeping out of his mouth as he spoke.

He turned his head towards the heracross and simply blew, sending a freezing breath of frost at it and not letting up until it was on the ground, unconscious. He then turned to its friend, just as it charged him with its horn glowing in an attempt at at another Megahorn. He simply stepped to the side and slammed a paw down on the horn, knocking the creature to the ground like it was nothing. To his disappointment, he simply didn't have time to play with these things. He had to end this fight NOW.

The glaceon took a deep breath and once more blew a Frost Breath, not stopping until he was completely out of breath to ensure the heracross wouldn't be getting back up. As he caught his breath, the icy mist seeping from his mouth refused to stop. He was lucky that it'd decided to activate, likely due to the agitation brought on him by the bug getting in a cheap shot on him, but he didn't actually know how to activate it.... or how to deactivate it.

Clara struggled to look towards the eevee as it came to help her. She only coughed as she tried to respond. Their emotions gave off a sense of deep worry. However, she had absolutely no power to move. It just felt as if she was made of stone, just completely, and ridiculously heavy. On-top of that, she couldn't even feel the ground beneath her. Seeming the spore has also messed with her sense of touch.

As she attempted to speak up again, she coughed again, beginning to feel sick. It couldn't have been just stun spore to have this kind of effect on her.

((Sorry for small post, there wasn't much for her to do.))

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptySat May 02, 2015 10:24 am

Sova took slow breaths as he tried to calm himself and forcefully stop the Frost Breath, to no avail on the latter.  He knew from plenty of prior experience that once Frost Breath had started up, he had no way in his power of stopping it without being startled by some means or simply keeping it going until his lungs couldn't take it anymore.  Neither of these options seemed particularly appealing, but it didn't seem like he was going to get much of a choice.  With no known way of ceasing the Frost Breath immediately, he decided to just make the best of a bad situation.

The glaceon turned his attention to the less large-scale battle involving the eevee and ralts he was supposed to be protecting.  He took a few calm steps towards them as the two paras struggled to get up, blowing in their direction just as they'd managed to do so.  Both of the bugs were knocked out with ease, though it seemed the freezing mist had gotten a bit too close to Dusk and chilled her as she backed away and visibly shivered.  Still, the glaceon did his best to remain calm in the hopes that the Frost Breath would stop, but it just kept going after the actual attack ended, the white mist blowing out of his mouth in front of him every time he exhaled.  "Sorry.", he spoke up, hoping the eevee would forgive him for the chill.

Dusk gave the ralts a worried look as she awaited an answer, only receiving a cough.  Great, it clearly wasn't alright.  "Don't worry....", she assured, though she wasn't really too sure of herself.
She spun around to the two paras to see they were getting up, but as she took a step forward, a cold and visible wind blew both of the bugs back down and knocked them out.  She happened to be within the radius of the attack, just barely, getting to feel the cold breath.  It was absolutely FREEZING, enough to make her shiver and back away, though it didn't really hurt.... much.  She'd been lucky in not being too close.

"Watch where you're aiming!", she responded to the glaceon's apology, clearly agitated by being hit by the edge of the attack.
However, upon noticing the icy mist still seeping out of the glaceon's mouth, she began to worry.  Why wasn't he stopping?  Was something wrong?  It looked like he was trying not to breathe much....  "Hey, the fight's over, you knocked them all out, congrats, now you can stop with the death breath.", she said, but only got a denying head shake as a response.

Sova sighed when the eevee brought up his clear issue with his breath.  He'd been hoping no one would question it, but since he had to give some kind of answer now, he just shook his head?  What was he supposed to say, that one of his attacks was broken and he couldn't use it right?  He tried to get his mind off the negative thoughts, focusing instead on the ralts and immediately seeing a problem.  She wasn't really moving much and seemed to be coughing.  Probably paralysis, since Bug-Types and Grass-Types were known for carrying a variety of spores, paras happening to be both.

The glaceon looked around, hoping to find something in specific and to his relief, he found just that.  A Cheri Berry on the ground near a bush, the perfect cure for paralysis!  He walked over to it and batted it with a paw, knocking it through the air over to the eevee and accidentally hitting her in the face with it.  "Give that to her, might help.", he suggested, trying to keep his amount of words to a minimum.
He couldn't do it himself since that would require getting near the ralts.  He didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone with Frost Breath.

Dusk watched as the glaceon approached a berry and smacked it over to her.  She wasn't ready, so it hit her RIGHT in the face.  It was because she wasn't ready though, not because she was bad at catching or anything, it was just so abrupt.... and Sova had bad aim!  Yeah, that was definitely it.  Regardless, she kept herself from making any rude remarks about the poor aim of the glaceon since there was something more important to worry about at the moment.  She bit onto the curly stem of the berry and brought it over to the ralts immediately, dropping it in front of the paralyzed Psychic-Type.  "Here, this might help.", she said, though she was uncertain if the ralts could even manage to pick the berry up.

(There's yo cheri berry)

Clara wasn't sure what was going on around her, as she couldn't think clearly as she was stuck on the ground, coughing once more. At some point she thought she felt something cold blow past her. This made her cough a little more as she had a slight chill go through her, causing her to shiver slightly. Despite not being able to willingly move on her own, she still could shiver...

At some point a berry was dropped in front of her. A cheri berry, something that could help her with her paralysis problem. She then tried to force her arm to move so she could grab it. However it only moved about an inch before she dropped her arm back down. I... I can't get it... she thought to herself as she remained laying there.

The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptyTue May 05, 2015 4:13 am

Sova kept enough distance to keep his freezing breath away from the other two, though he was still close enough to join in the conversation. Figuring he probably wouldn't be going anywhere for at least a few minutes with the ralts paralyzed, he sat down as he waited, trying to breathe slowly and minimize the amount of Frost Breath. It was disappointing that he couldn't correctly use it, since it was so very useful when it worked. Sadly, it rarely worked correctly, an example of which being the current situation.

Dusk quickly realized that the ralts couldn't pick the cheri berry up on its own and picked it up by the stem in her paw. She lifted it over the ralts' head to make it easier to eat. "Here, open up.", she requested as she held the berry there.
It probably felt very embarrassing to have to be fed like this, but it had to be done. Unless of course the ralts wanted to be carried around until the paralysis hopefully wore off instead, which seemed equally embarrassing.

(Feel free to have Dusk give Clara the berry in your post, no need to stretch this out.)

Clara clearly was embarrassed by this mess she was in, however it wasn't like she could help herself. If they weren't there... She would be completely helpless right now.

She slowly opened her mouth to have the berry fed to her. No matter how embarrassed she had felt, she felt extremely greatful for those pokemon to be there right now. She knew now that they meant no harm to her. So if they wanted her to come with them along the forest for a bit, she might just do so.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dusk finally gave the last bit of the berry to the poor little Ralts. The berry slowly taking its effect on the Ralts. She slowly regained the ability to move each part of her body. First her arms, then her legs.. Then she was able to walk, however just from being paralyzed in such a way. She was probably not going to be on her feet very soon.
She slowly tried to sit up as she had regained control of various parts of her limbs. She looked down at the ground for a bit. Wondering what to say... The only thing she could say at the moment was, "Thankyou....?" in a very soft voice. She still couldn't get over the feeling of being sick. Despite getting rid of her paralysis... She still felt sick for some reason... Possibly even light headed.
Clara then felt a bit sorry, for not saying her name earlier and promptly wanted to let them know who she was. "I... um, my name is Clara... I am sorry... for not saying it earlier." she said as she looked at the ground once more.
((I have an idea for the reviver seed and her still poisoned status... At some point she might collapse again due to weakness from the poison. However for now, she only feels sick))
The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptyThu May 07, 2015 4:09 am
Dusk waited for the ralts to spring back to life from the Cheri Berry, but it seemed it wasn't going to be that simple.  The ralts, Clara, seemed to still be feeling the effects of the paralysis or something, clearly still not in good shape.  "I'm Dusk, nice to meet you.  And it's no trouble, really.", she replied, despite having already been introduced earlier by Sova.
She knew she'd already been introduced, it was just that it wasn't really the same if she didn't do it herself.  It was then that the glaceon spoke up and she turned around to see what he had to say.  Technically, vision wasn't necessary to hear, but it was still nice to see someone when they were talking.
Sova kept his distance still, not wanting to hurt anyone on accident.  He waved a paw as the ralts introduced herself as Clara, ignoring the fact that Dusk had decided to re-introduce herself pointlessly.  He noticed Clara seemed to be in rather bad shape, but that didn't really make sense.  Paralysis generally just inhibited movement and once it was cured, there weren't really any lingering side effects.  Maybe the ralts had gotten hurt prior and he hadn't seen?  "Are you alright?  Need a lift?", he offered.
On cue, the spiky ice coating around his fur began to crumble away and melt.  It was very unstable and light ice to allow him to move faster rather than slower, only being held together by his own body temperature, so it was easy to dismantle by simply adjusting his own body heat.... or more appropriately, body chill, since he had a very cold core temperature in the first place.
(Kk.  All of the paras are knocked out if ya wanna edit your list thingy.)
Clara nodded lightly as dusk repeated her introduction. Although she had been introduced already. Clara could only guess that she wanted to introduce herself, rather than have that glaceon do an introduction for her. This left her a little curious about their relationship, however not enough to actually ask. She never really liked asking pokemon about stuff like that. She usually didn't interact with others at all either. However, despite this fact... Some pokemon from grassveil still manage to somehow interact with her.
"I... I am alright, the cherri berry helped a lot." she said as she slowly got up. If one paid close enough attention, you could probably notice her being slightly unsteady. However, she didn't really notice it herself... The only thing though she felt was a subtle feeling of nausia. The only other thing she felt was a slight lightheadedness. However, she failed to recognize that it was gradually getting worse.
She then heard a sound come from a nearby tree... As she turned towards it, it wasn't exactly a tree that the sound came from. "What is that sou-... nd" she said as she trailed off as she saw the pokemon that seemed to be attempting to blend in with the other trees in the area. It would have worked, since the shadows covered most of the area... However, it was making noise. The pokemon was odd looking. It seemed to be in the shape of a tree with coconuts for heads.
The emotions that came off the pokemon didn't seem too threatening to her, however she was still stuck there in slight fear. More over, not wanting to provoke the pokemon.
The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The darker shades of pecha.   The darker shades of pecha. - Page 2 EmptyWed May 13, 2015 1:04 am
Dusk was relieved to hear that the ralts was alright. She didn't notice any of the signs that Clara wasn't actually in good condition. She was really rather oblivious to this fact, more focused on the words of the ralts than the evidence showing otherwise. She didn't get much of a chance to notice either, as her attention was immediately taken to an apparently living tree. If this was a pokemon, it wasn't one she'd seen before. Then again, she'd never actually been to this forest before.
Sova, unlike his unevolved companion, didn't believe Clara was alright. It seemed to him that either she'd taken some damage in the fight or was being effected by something else, but to him, it was fairly clear that she wasn't alright. However, for now she at least seemed capable of moving and didn't seem to be in too dire of a situation, so he decided not to bother about it unless it became necessary. He hadn't noticed the noises until they were pointed out to him, due to his attention being focused on Clara's well-being, though once he did notice, it was immediately obvious to him what it was. "That's an exeggutor. They look a lot like trees. Don't worry, this one doesn't really look interested in fighting.", he explained, hoping to ease any worries among the group.
"Oooh....", Dusk muttered as it was explained to her what exactly the living tree was.
So it WAS a pokemon! A weird one, though.
"We'd better get going, though. Wouldn't wanna bother it and make it any less peaceful, right?", he continued as he turned to walk away, looking back to check if the others were going to follow him.
Dusk, at least, seemed willing, though it was clear the eevee was waiting for Clara.
Dusk turned to follow the glaceon, only because she knew she didn't really have much choice. "Fine," she muttered
However, she didn't immediately start moving, instead waiting for Clara to see if she was going to come.
Clara glanced over to Sova as he said that they should get moving. The reasoning being, to prevent giving the Pokemon a reason to get upset with them.
She seemed to agree mentally about the idea as she turned to follow the two. "So... Umm, where are we going?" she asked sheepishly. As she thought maybe it would be alright to stay with them for a bit. Although she thought about leaving them whenever she got the chance... However, something told her that they would be kind. So she would at least attempt to get over her silly fear of others.
Sova was happy to see that the ralts was interested in coming with them. This meant he could keep an eye on her and make sure she hadn't sustained any serious injuries. He pondered where to go for a moment, before remembering the whole reason he was out here in the first place was to go where ever Dusk was going and protect her. "Well, right now I'm just following Dusk to make sure she-", he began, but the eevee cut him off.
"We can go wherever you want!", Dusk cut in, not wanting to be a burden to Clara.
The ralts seemed nice, so she didn't want to be a burden. They could just go wherever Clara wanted to go. It wasn't like the eevee had any real goal out here anyways other than to be rebellious to Sova, so she didn't exactly have anything better to do.
Sova shrugged as Dusk cut him off and offered for Clara to pick where to go. He didn't really care where they went, as long as it wasn't somewhere dangerous. As much as he liked excessive danger, he wasn't a big fan of it when he had others around him to think about.
As Clara had asked where they were going to head to next. The glaceon stated that he was simply following the Eevee, however before he could finish. The eevee cut him off and stated that they could go anywhere she wanted to go.
She shook her head as she got slightly confused. "I... umm. I didn't... I..." she stuttered as she didn't exactly expect to be asked where to go. As she didn't quite have a set destination herself. She had just been traveling through the forest for her own survival.
Rarely going to town for supplies, except when she desperately needed them. She tried to think of a response, feeling a bit dumb as she realized how much she stuttered on her response. "I don't have a set place in mind..." she finally stated plainly.
Sova resisted the urge to laugh a bit at the ralts' confusion. He simply shrugged as she stated to not have a destination in mind. "Alright then, I guess we'll just go in a random direction until we find something interesting.", he proposed, seeing that no one else was really coming up with any ideas.
He didn't really expect to find anything interesting to himself in Shadowhue, but perhaps he could find some way to entertain the other two. To his disappointment, Dusk had other plans.
Dusk immediately shook her head to the glaceon's suggestion. "If she doesn't have anywhere he needs to be escorted to, there's no need for me to stay. I'm not staying around you any longer than I need to, so bye!," she replied rather harshly.
With that, the eevee turned and began to walk away, but the glaceon's next words stopped her.
"Oh, that's fine. I guess that means you don't mind if I keep this, then....", Sova said as he pulled a black ribbon out of his bag with his paw, putting it in clear view.
Dusk turned around and gasped as she saw her Lunar Ribbon.... with Sova! "How.... You stole it!! Give it back, I need that!," she demanded, ramming into the glaceon's leg in an attempt to get him to give it back.
He didn't seem to care at all about the poor attempt at an attack.
Sova chuckled upon seeing that this ribbon meant something to Dusk. Great, maybe he could get her to willingly stay near him for a while. "It's not stealing, I took it off you when I saved you because I wanted you to be comfortable while you slept and I have every intention of giving it back when you're well enough to leave my care. If you leave now, though.... you're giving it to me," he explained with a bit of a smirk, showing that he felt this meant checkmate for Dusk.
She HAD to stay now.
"B-but I can't evolve without it!," Dusk retorted.
"Then don't run off and I'll give it back," Sova replied.
The eevee huffed before walking back to the side of the glaceon, looking very unhappy about the situation. She stayed silent, just wanting this situation to end as quickly as possible so she could get her ribbon back.
