| The dark mist of the mountain swirled, hugging the ground like a dark cloud too afraid to fly up into the air. It was a desolate place, yet not one on which life could not find a way. Spindly, wretched trees stabbed up through the fog, attempting to grasp at whatever sunlight may exist above the perpetual darkness underneath. Even higher up, the small form of circling Aerodactyl could be seen, their loud screeches the only noise echoing through the mountain.
However, the mountain now had a visitor. One whom had arrived here before, and was now back with much more power than previously. The mist parted as he pushed through it, a grin hidden underneath the figure's cloak. This figure would climb as high as he could, and destroy any who would attempt to get in his way. This figure was none other than the outlaw, Akuroma, and he had come to the mountain prepared to face all its horrors with his own.

| Nearby, a much, much, MUCH smaller figure with a glistening silver coat and blazing blue fur protruding from her ears crawled out from between a group of rocks. The quadrupedal figure moved slowly and sluggishly, as though it were tired, but that didn't stop it from being alert and still somewhat hyperactive despite the sluggish muscles that plagues it.
The terror called Mercury the Fennekin had arrived. Somehow.
No, literally. Merc had no clue how she had gotten here. All she knew anymore was that she had been walking for a long time. A long, long, loooooooong time. She had been looking for a picnic area one second, and then she got chased by some pokemon that seemed kinda familiar, and THEN the next second she was on a really dark mountain!!! And there was a really dark figure over there!!! Kinda like the mountain!!!
Merc blinked and looked over at the figure. Her juvenile mind focused on the billowing cloak, the intimidating pose, the batshit insane smile.
"....Friend!!!" Mercury thought inside her head. She dashed over, though tiredly, stumbling over her own paws from exhaustion. Beyond the tiredness though, excitement and chipper ness still burned brightly. The Fennekin grinned as she approached the figure, wagging her tail as furiously as she could get the tired thing to way. "Hi stranger cloak friend!!! I wasn't expecting to... -yawn- ....twa... to fiwnd a fwiend up here....!!!" she stated excitedly, though her eyes fluttered and desperately fought sleep. She bobbed around, trying to stay upright.

| Akuroma blinked as his climb was interrupted by an oddly colored Fennekin. A tired one at that. Though she did seem to have a lot of energy for yawning and stumbling around as if she were going to pass out right there. The Gallade leaned down and picked the little fire type up by the scruff of her neck, lifting her up to eye level. "First, my name is Akuroma, not 'stranger cloak friend.' I'd rather not have someone giving me weird nicknames like Keyami did," he said as he stared blankly at the Fennekin, his battle hungry smile now gone. Normally the Gallade would have attacked any approaching Pokemon, but the Fennekin didn't look like she had anything on her, let alone being powerful enough for a good fight. | |

| Mercury's eyes lit up as she was picked up and she squealed with joy. "*gasp* I'M FLYYYYING!!!" She cried out with joy, suspend end in air by the capey stranger friend's hand. She twirled around slightly like a tired sack of potatos, enjoying the feeling of being suspended in air. "Weeeee!!!~ This is fun, this is what birds feel like probably." She looked into the eyes of stranger capey friend - Akuroma, he called himself - and grinned. "Wowwww, most friends don't ever tell me their names!!! You must be like a super best friend!! And you've got a cape! Super best friend Akuroma!!!" She announced joyfully, wagging her tired tail around again. | |

| Akuroma groaned silently to himself. Oh Arceus, she's crazier than Keyami, just not as creepy looking. Well, this was going to making things... talkative. Though seeing as how the little Fennekin was already half asleep, maybe he'd simply have to find her a little spot to nap. At least, he hoped she'd be falling asleep, and not waking up... - Dracorexion carried out 10 launched of one Black Mist Mountain :

| As Mercury was held dangling by the scruff of her neck, a Cubone and and his Marowak mother came waddling out from their nearby den, preparing for their daily walk around the mountain's base. The Cubone danced around his mother happily; She had just given him a Joy Ribbon as a birthday present and he was excited to go around and show off his flashy new accessory. As they strayed a tad too close to Mercury, however, the item began to gently lift off out of the Cubone's hands and floated over towards the oddly-colored Fennekin, embedding itself in her fur. The Marowak watched and was enraged as the present she worked so hard to get for her son floated away and ended up in the fur of a fire type and her apparent father.
"Excuse me!" the Marowak called angrily, walking over to Mercury ad Aku with her shy son in tow behind her. "Are you going to let your daughter get away with stealing my son's birthday present?!" she demanded, glaring into the eyes of the Gallade.
Mercury turned her head around a bit and looked back at the others. "Hello, friends!!" she grinned, her tail wagging.

| Akuroma blinked as he watched the Joy Ribbon quite randomly float away from the Cubone and to the Fennekin he was holding. Now the little fire type became much more interesting to him. Though, now he did have an angry Marowak to deal with. As he was about to respond, he found him caught of guard as the Marowak immediately assumed he was the Fennekin's father. He didn't really count himself as the "fatherly" type. Though that's mainly because he'd never had to deal with children before.
The Gallade thought on this a bit until the Marowak, having become frustrated with the lack of a response from the Gallade, attempted to grab at the Joy Ribbon on the Fennekin. Snapping back from his thoughts, the Gallade grabbed the Marowak's wrist, glaring at her. "Did I say you could try to touch her?" he asked before standing up straight, wrapping his one arm around the Fennikin before throwing the Marowak away.
Akuroma's hands then began to glow a bright blue, "I think I'll keep the ribbon, since you seem too impatient to wait for me to get it for you."

| The little Fennekin watched from her cozy arm perch as skully friend was tossed aside by Akuroma friend as if skully friend was just a leaf with a bunch of holes in it. Mercury looked up at Akuroma friend with wide, impressed eyes; how had he even done that? Mercury couldn't even imagine how it was possible that he had so easily tossed skully friend. The strange Fennekin was a lot less concerned with the fact that he had thrown her, and more consumed with that strange childlike wonder that appears when somebody throws another somebody who's literally twice your size.
"Wooow.... you're strong...." Merc gasped quietly.
The Marowak hit the ground and laid there for a moment, stunned. She picked herself up off the ground, and then turned to the Gallade and stared at him, enraged. "What is wrong with you?!?" the Marowak exploded, her angry glare enough to bore a hole into rock. "Return my son's gift this instant; it's not yours to take!" she seethed. The Cubone boy hung back nervously; he hated to see his mother when she was this angry; it was really scary.

| Akuroma smirked at the Fennekin's comment, "Yep." The Gallade chuckled as the Marowak yelled at him angrily, "Heh, does it look like I care, bonehead?" Akuroma then slammed his free fist into the ground, large, pointed stones erupting out of the blackened earth towards the Marowak. The Ground type jumped backwards just before the stone edge erupted from the ground she was standing.
The Cubone stood behind a rock, shaking as he saw his mother begin to fight with the taller. An Aron approached form behind, gently nudging the Cubone. The Cubone jumped up, startled by its friend's sudden approach. "Let's get away from here, your mom can handle this,"[/color] the Aron said, starting to nudge the currently reluctant Cubone away from the battle.
The Marowak charged at Akuroma, stomping onto the ground with such force that it caved in slightly where the Marowak stepped. Akuroma stood there, digging his feet into the ground whilst turning so that Mercury would be on the opposite side of the Marowak.

| Mercury felt herself moving through the air, and then suddenly she was facing the opposite direction. The tired fox, confused and feeling a little bit physically ill due to the tense negative atmosphere, looked around forlornly. She was unsure as to what had happened, nor could she remember how she had gotten there. She felt the ground shaking though. A LOT. Mercury began to look around for whatever was making the ground shake, when she suddenly noticed something on a nearby cliff. Multiple somethings, actually. Mercury watched as a round, blue something, two seed somethings, and a strange shiny frisbee something all came tumbling down from a nearby cliff. Presumably, they had been in some other pokemon's abandoned stash; left undiscovered and then dislodged by the massive ground shaking. Mercury's tail began to wag a little; the shiny frisbee looked like it could make a good game. | |

| The Marowak collided with Akuroma's outstretched hand, the resulting collision causing the mist around them disperse and the ground curl up on each of their legs as neither of them moved despite the momentum the Marowak had gained just a moment before. Akuroma smirked, twisting his body around as he swung his leg at the Marowak. The Gallade then charged at the Ground type, his hands glowing white as he slammed them into the Marowak's body, repeatedly using brick break on her. All the while the Gallade kept himself between the Fennekin and the Marowak. | |

| Mercury kept looking off in the other direction, off in the distance where the items had fallen. So, unbearably curious, yet the arm holding her constrained her. The grey fox was completely oblivious to the brutal pummeling going on behind her, the violent display that was not unlike the experiences Mercury's mind had failed to save fully as complete long-term memories. She continued to stare into the distance, her mind a blank except the distant desire to play. | |

| The Marowak jumped backwards again as she began to spin the bone in front of her, a ball of energy forming before firing out in a large beam. Akuroma rolled to the side before he began to run around the Marowak, the beam of energy following him as the Marowak turned, trying to get her beam to hit the Gallade. The Gallade's fists began to blue a bright blue as he ran, the Pokemon preparing to counterattack the Marowak. Akuroma skid to a halt, slamming his free fist into the ground, a long trail of pointed stones erupting from the ground, following him as he tried to make a barrier between him and the Marowak's hyper beam.
The idea didn't quite work, as the beam sliced through the stones with ease. Akuroma grimaced, launching himself towards the ground type. As he did so, he threw the Fennekin he was holding up into the air. Akuroma's arms then began to glow a bright green as his elbows extended out into swords, the psychic type slashing down on the Marowak, interrupting the hyper beam she was using. The danger of the hyper beam now passed, Akuroma jumped backwards, his psycho cut disappearinf as he caught the Fennekin back in his arms.

| Suddenly, Merc and the arm restraining her were moving around rapidly, trying to escape what looked to Merc like a really, REALLY bright light. She was jostled and tossed around like she was on an amusement park ride, going up and down and side to side... if it hadn't been so violent, it almost might have been soothing to the small fox child. Merc watched and giggled at the way her limbs swished around limply in the air each time they changed a movement.
"Woaaa-!" Merc exclaimed as she was suddenly tossed high into the air, free like a bird and now able to see even more of the terrain around her, as she ascended, she looked around at the rocky terrain of the mountain she had wound up on, marveling at how grand it all was (cause even a mound of rocks was impressive in the grey fox's eyes). She spotted the items that she had seen earlier again, with the addition of another seed and a blue berry that she hadn't seen before due to obstructed vision. She arced gently in the air, falling down into Akuroma friend's arms and grinning with joy. She looked much more awake now; fueled by new energy. "That was so cool; let's do it again!!!" she cried out, wagging her tail happily.

| "Later," Akuroma said as he launched another Stone Edge at the Marowak. The Marowak responded by Bulldozing through the stones at Akuroma. Akuroma growled, grabbing a hold of the Marowak's snout and throwing her at the cliff where the items Mercury had saw were. He then charged forward, his fists glowing white before he slammed one into the Marowak's face, the skull she wore cracking under the force of the impact. The Marowak was flung backwards, slamming into the cliff and leaving an indentation of where she had hit it as she fell to the ground. Akuroma panted as he stood there, waiting to see if the Marowak would stand back up.
When she didn't, Akuroma sighed in relief. "You alright, Fe- er, what's your name? I don't think you've told me it."
