In the poisonous flatlands of the Venom Gulch, a lone Gligar could be seen treading through the area. He was currently on his way to the nearest town he could find, wanting to find a place to relax for a little bit. "This place doesn't seem so inviting, especially with all this smog around here. Not sure if I should be stick around here too much longer. Guess I should try the faster way out." Scorpio said as he prepared to take flight, knowing that flying would get him traveling much faster. As he soared into the air, the Gligar could see how far the smog seemed to go, a near endless stretch of poison. Scorpio didn't have much time to think on this matter however as he soon found himself loosing balance and falling back towards the ground. "Oh no, I thought I had it this time!" He said before landing face first on the ground, a loud thud being heard upon impact. "Ouch...stupid clumsiness."

The nidorans came to a halt, "What do you mean he didn't mean to insult us?" they asked with gruff angry tones, one glaring at the Nidoran while the other glared at the Gligar. Zephyr's head was finally clearing up as the three of each pokemon changed back to two, and then to one. He blinked, shaking his head in attempt to speed up the process before returning to all four legs and examining the situation, trying to figure out what was going on and to clear his own confusion on why these girls were being so territorial. Shouldn't the venipede or something be doing this kind of stuff? They WERE the naturally aggressive species...

"I mean, he might have just had a bad day or something. You know, one of those days where you're just pissed off from certain things happening and you end up snapping at anybody though you aren't mad at them. That's probably the case with this guy here. Like I said, it's just a big misunderstanding." Scorpio said, trying to reason with the angered poison types once again. To be honest, he was lying through his fangs at the moment, making things up as he went on. The Gligar could tell from the Nidoran's mannerisms that he wasn't the nicest of people, so right now this was the best he could do to avoid any more trouble.

"Actually my day-" the nidoran had begun speaking to correct the Scorpio, obviously not getting what the gligar was trying to do, he was interrupted by a growl from the Nidorina. He huffed in anger at the interruption, and growled right back at her, using Leer as he did so to affect her defenses and perhaps intimidating her into submission. However this only seemed to anger the Nidorina more. The poison type snarled, looking to Scorpio of an explanation.

Scorpio saw the Nidoran and Nidorina growl at each other, still looking like they were about to brawl. It seemed like no matter what he said, those two seemed determined to fight each other, which was the last thing the Gligar wanted. "Okay, so maybe we should do something to lower the tension in here. Something where we don't have to focus on any of this negativity and calm ourselves. How about we just chat and get to know each other, starting with name. I'm Scorpio." He said, hoping that this admittedly cheesy idea would actually work.

"Zephyr," the male nidoran introduced himself. He watched as the group seemed to look at each other, having a silent debate through the language of stares. The nidorina decided to go with it luckily.
"Nidorina," one of them spoke.
"Nidorina," the other spoke.
"Venipede," a venipede spoke.
"Venipede," the other venipede spoke.
"Croagunk," one of the croagunk spoke slowly.
"Bob," the final pokemon that had yet to indentify himself spoke.
Zephyr rolled his eyes, "Boring names," he huffed quietly, realizing that he probably was not helping the situation at all.

"No no, those are all pretty great names if I say so myself." Scorpio said, though he kind of agreed with the Nidoran that those were really bland names. However, with them being most likely wild, it would make sense that they wouldn't have the greatest of names. "Okay, this is a good start. How about we talk about some of the stuff we like? Helps us learn more about each other, which is very good. I'll start again. I really like flying around, which I guess is common for flying types like me." Scorpio said, thinking that so far, his little activity was actually working. At the very least, no one was trying to fight each other at the moment.

"I like hitting things until they fall down," Zephyr spoke, deciding to go along will all of this. The wild group of pokemon looked at each other before speaking one by one. They all seemed to at the very least be capable of cooperation, and willing to try and solve this problem, but they seemed to have their doubts about all of this.
"Living," said a Nidorina.
"Living," said the other.
"Killing," a Venipede spoke up.
"Killing," the other spoke.
"Both," said a croagunk.
"Planting flowers" said Bob.

"Very diverse interests you have there. I wasn't expecting most of those. You're all just so full of surprises." Scorpio said, actually meaning it this time unlike with the names. He definitely hadn't expected such...unique responses, especially from one of those Croagunk's. Still, it seemed like the Gligar's idea was actually working, as the group of Poison types seemed to be getting less and less hostile. "Okay, so now how about we just do some normal conversation. Just take it like any other day and get to know each other better." Scorpio said, thinking that now they could simply talk things out and remove any anger out of the group.

"Soo how is this going to help any?" Zephyr asked the Gligar after a moment of silence. He was back on his hindlegs and seemed to have recovered from the tackle the Nidorina had given him substantially. The purple rabbit glanced to the group, noting that they still did not seem to happy. He was still not too worried about the Nidorina, but more of the croagunks and venipedes. They were a dangerous lot, saying they liked to kill and such. Who would take joy out of killing? Sure fighting made him stronger, but killing was unnecessary and not worth the trouble it brought along with it in terms of law enforcement.

"What do you mean how is this going to help? This is helping us a ton. By doing these things and getting to know each other, we can lower the negative tension around here and avoid any unneeded situations. Who knows? Maybe after we talk with each other for long enough, we may become friends. Who doesn't like friends?" Scorpio said, giving his best reasoning as to why he was doing this. While he had no confidence in this idea, the group of poison types were taking this surprisingly calmly, despite the oddities to come with their words and the Nidoran's attitude. Though being friend with wild Pokemon wasn't the most wonderful thing, it would at least avoid a pointless battle...hopefully.

"I can think of someone," the nidoran huffed, though it was not clear even to him whether he was talking about himself or a certain someone that had thrown him out of his herd. He was rather indifferent towards the idea of friends. What was the point of them? He had too much on his plate with training and...well, more training. He looked to the group, so see that they were back to glaring, obviously not wanting conversation. He was ready though, ready to kick some butt, even though in reality he would probably get his butt kicked. He did not realize this himself however, as he was too stubborn to do so.

Before the group could start up a real conversation, Scorpio turned to see three more Pokemon heading towards them. At first, the Gligar became scared that this might ruin the activity idea which was somewhat working if more wild Pokemon came to battle. That might have been the case if they weren't related to those poison types.

"Mommy! My sister and her weird friends are harassing other Pokemon again! Go stop then!" The other Nidorina said as she tugged at the Nidoqueen's leg. A Koffing was there as well, giving an annoyed stare towards the poison types. "Alright kids, stop messing with those two outsiders. Besides, you're all still grounded after messing up this Koffing's food yesterday." The Nidoqueen said, looking directly at the group with an annoyed expression on her face.

The group turned and looked to the Nidoqueen, fear striking their eyes that caused Zephyr to laugh at their fear of their own parents. He did not fear his, his mother was weak and he never really had a father from what he knew. The nidorinas turned and glared at the Nidoran Male, but slunk back towards the Nidoqueen, ashamed of themselves for getting into trouble while the venipedes curled into a ball and rolled out. The croagunk followed behind the Venipede, getting out of there before the Nidoqueen was angered.
"Heh, guess they're Mommy's girls," Zephyr joked to Scorpio, even though he likely would have reacted similarly in the same situation.

"I guess so..." Scorpio said, shrugging as he saw how the group of poison types were reacting to the angry Nidoqueen. As they left the area, she turned to the Gligar and Nidoran, looking much calmer now. "Sorry if they gave you any problems. They've always been troublemakers." The Nidoqueen said, apologizing for their actions. Those six definitely did seem like a troublemaking group, mainly with a few of their interests. "Oh, it's fine, they weren't much trouble at all. No one got hurt much so that's a good thing." Scorpio said, not mentioning the Sand Attack he used before on the Nidorina. After hearing his response, the Nidoqueen walked away with the other poison types, with Scorpio soon letting out a large sigh of relief.

"Well that was boring," Zephyr stated bluntly, huffing as he turned to move the opposite direction, "Would have preferred to teach those Venipede and Croagunk a lesson about trying to threaten ME."
He scurried along, not waiting for the gligar to follow but clearly expecting him to from how he still kept talking, "What was that all about? We could have taken them, even me alone most likely," the nidoran spoke. He overestimated himself however, as he likely would have been easily beaten by the opponents as they not only were stronger than him but had the advantage of numbers.
