That Stupid Brute [Open]

Zera huffed as he found himself at the Icicle Woods...yet again. He snarled, pawing at some snow and sending it flying to the side. The brute hated this. Hate. Hate. HATED this. He had tried to find his way to Furnance Peak, even had directions this time, and yet he had managed to end all the way back here again. This stupid, frozen, forest. The world just hated him didn't it? It just wanted to watch him fail to claim a comfortable territory. He gave another huff, a bit of flame escaping the houndour's nostrils as he took a seat. What to do now? He was utterly lost, and he had spent so much time wandering around that he had gotten tired.

What now?

Ramira looked around the icy forest. This place was definitely cold, so the Zorua was glad she had her cloak and scarf. She pulled her hood up over her head and huffed once. The air was so cold it looked like mist. 'Wow.... it must be really cold here, then.' The dark type thought in shock. She walked onwards, noticing how icicles seemed to be everywhere. "Hence the name....." The Zorua said aloud, but quietly. She hoped it wasn't hard going around here, because it looked like a trippy dungeon to be in altogether. Shrugging it off, the dark type went on in determination to show Serena she could be tough, too. She'd go home and tell the Servine in her face that she had traversed Icicle Woods, where the grass type was scared to go. "Heh." Ramira smirked.

Just great! Stuck in this forest, lost, unable to leave, and now he was hearing things. The hound huffed, dismissing the voice as just his ears, until he heard it again. He snorted, would this be some wild pokemon that would attack him on sight? He could use the training. He stood up, a huff of flame spouting from his snout as he moved towards the source of the sound, he stopped once he spotted a dark shape that seemed to be moving away from him. He glared at it, before taking a deep breath, and releasing a blood curdling howl. Once he ran out of breath to howl, his head fell back low from its high position and his ears flattened, snarling. Friend or foe? Would this pokemon attack?

Ramira nearly jumped out of her fur. What the heck WAS that? She whirled around quickly, to see a dark and orange-ish figure farther away from her. "Wha....?" The Zorua muttered, dumbfounded. What was a Houndour doing in an icy forest? This made the dark type question why she herself had chosen Icicle Woods of all places as well. Was he friend or foe? Shaking her head, Ramira just sighed and called out to..... him or her. "Uhm.... Hullo. Who exactly might you be?" She asked him. This was one of her common questions upon meeting new Pokemon, and it was definitely very useful, yet obvious. 'Why am I suddenly thinking so much like a child? Blech.' The Zorua thought.

The hell was this thing? It was a dark brown color with neon blue for hair, eyes, and paw tips. It also had a stupid little fluff ball on its forehead, what use was that? Zera snorted as it questioned him, this wasn't one of those feral pokemon that attacked anything that moved. Pity. He figured that he may as well play nice, at least for now, and spoke, "Zera. You?"
He eyed the zorua, wondering just what this little pest was up to. It definitely couldn't be native, he didn't see anything of this sort when he was here last. The pointed nose pokemon seemed a bit scared, it felt empowering to have a pokemon cower before him. He puffed his chest out slightly, proud to have been able to show dominance over the weak.

"Ramira. What the heck is a Houndour doing in the middle of a huge forest filled with ice?" The Zorua asked, clearly seeing he didn't look like to type to be easily offended. Smirking under her hood, Ramira felt a little better about another Pokemon that seemed a little like her. "Anyways......" She couldn't exactly find anything else to say. Internally, she shrugged. Oh, well. Not like she needed to say anything more, anyway. What now? There was a Houndour facing her, she was in a forest full of icy trees, she had nowhere to go but forward..... What action could she take in this situation at all?

"What you're just going to completely ignore what I say?" Zera snarled his fur standing on end and a growl erupting from his throat. Electricity suddenly jumped from his jaws as he bared his teeth, a Thunder Fang prepped just for the little pest that seemed to ignore his introduction and continue to refer to him as houndour. He had thought that it had been fearful, but it seemed that it needed a bit more fear installed into its puny brain. The hound shivered, thought it was unsure of if it was because of the cold or if his muscles were just eager to fight.

Ramira was about to say something, but was interrupted by a Weavile jumping out of nowhere. She leapt back. "What in.. Just what?!" The Zorua muttered. First Zera, now a Weavile! Oh joy! Her mouth now in the shape of a frown, the dark type let loose a Dark Pulse on the ice type. No Pokemon was allowed to scare her like that, ever! The Zorua then ran in for a Scratch attack, and the Weavile blocked it, sending her flying. Ramira stood up. "I hate...... fully evolved..... ferals..." She grunted angrily. What was with this hostile Pokemon? Did it think she was WEAK?

The hound watched a weavile suddenly appeared and the zorua proceeded to provoke it further by attacking it. He huffed, a bit annoyed by this development. He was still being ignored. This was not fun.

His jaws sparked, figuring that he might as well defeat this thing and THEN question the strange fox-cat-puff-ball-of-hair thing for ignoring him. The houndour snarled, his fangs sparking up a storm as he leaped for the Weavile's back, it having been turned to him due to focusing on the Zorua. He latched onto the neck of the weavile, and sent electrical shocks running through the ice type.

As he did so, a purple toxic smog leaked from his throat, spreading around the area rapidly. The weavile managed to pull the hound off, and attempted to toss him into a tree, but the hound opened his jaws and a stream of flames emitted from his throat this time as he was thrown. The toxic gas was set slight, and a flash of flames coated wherever the gas had reached. The flames did not last long, but it was enough to surprise the weavile, and leave some rather nasty looking burn marks.

Ramira felt like she shouldn't have been provoked by a feral while having a conversation. Snarling, she leapt forward, scratching the Weavile's face multiple times angrily. 'This ice type isn't going to overpower either of us!' The dark type thought. This Weavile obviously thought she and Zera were weak, and was trying to defeat them, but finding it way too difficult. Ramira leapt back out of range of any attacks except long ranged ones, and used Dark Pulse. Fighting could be such a drag at times... and quite a pain if you were at a disadvantage type-wise.

The weavile dodged the attack, giving a huff of annoyance. The weavile clapped its hands together, and slowly separated them. It revealed a Focus Blast between its claws, before pitching it at the Zorua and creating another and pitching it at the Houndour.

Zera yelped as he was struck by the attack, being sent flying further and into some dead bushes. The hound struggled up, having taken quite a blow from the ice type's focus blast. The beast finally got to his paws, and snarled at the Weavile, only to dodge another Focus Blast just barely.

The weavile seemed to be attacking them both with the strong Fighting Type attack, which was rather effective considering how they were both Dark Types.

Ramira didn't even have time to dodge as a blast was shot right at her face. She was sent sailing into a tree, only to fall through the branches to the ground. The second one felt like a burn. The Zorua struggled to get up, and fired a longer distance Dark Pulse at the ice type, but it almost fizzled out before it reached the Weavile at all. 'Crap... I can't fire that kind of attack at this distance. Pursuit and Scratch are both close-range, and Leer won't do me any good in this type of battle....' The dark type thought over her possibilities. Finally, she managed to get closer by racing as fast as she could a few feet, THEN launching another Dark Pulse at the Weavile.

The weavile was struck with the dark pulse, but the ineffective attack did very little damage. The weavile merely smirked, firing yet another Focus Blast at the zorua before turning to the houndour.
Zera had gotten close and attempted to surprise the weavile with another attack, but the ice type had spotted him and dodged the Flamethrower, instead leaving the flames to sail past its shoulders and lick the air mere inches in front of the zorua. The houndour snarled as he missed, and turned to attack once more only to get smacked by the back hand of the weavile, the sharp claws slashing into his fur and creating two cuts on his cheek to go along with the scar on his nose. He yelped, and was sent flying into a tree by a kick.

"Why does this dang thing have to be so strong?! I have nothing GOOD against it!" Ramira complained aloud, painfully being flung across the battlefield again. Why couldn't some sort of a miracle happen? Why couldn't something knock the Weavile out for them so they didn't DIE? Sadly, the dark type's wish was not granted. Nothing came. Out of sheer anger, the Zorua ran full-speed at the Weavile, using Scratch on it. 'THIS ISN'T FAIR AT ALL!' She wanted to scream. 'I HATE THIS SO MUCH!' The words screamed inside her head, but wouldn't come out.

Holy hell not only did this stupid little fox completely ignore him but it whined like a little baby! Zera forced himself up, "Will you shut up and do something ELSE other than throwing those damned dark-whatevers at it!? Honestly even a CHILD would know to try something else you damned idiot!" the houndour snarled, not realizing the irony of his words seeing as he was likely a bit dimmer than the zorua when it came to logic and yet he was the one being intelligent and trying different things. The weavile ceased its movement, watching the hound snarl and yell at its friend. It gave a snicker, having dodged the Scratch by leaping into a tree and was now allowing the two to talk and argue for its own amusement from its seat upon a tree branch.
