Confession of the falls.

Jak just saw Fang get knocked onto the branch by a bird... He was just about to look at where the bird went however... *FWOOOSH* a large blast of a very apparent flamethrower shot past the tree... An object fell from the sky... "Stupid bird..."

Jak chuckled slightly. "Well. I guess we are taking the tree down..." he said as he hopped onto the closest branch near the edge of the cliff. He then hopped from each branch down towards Obera. He then landed next to her.

"After this want to stay for a bit at the lake..." he asked as he prepared to jump to the next branch down. However he waited until either she responded or went to jump also.^{This has been taken out simply for the intro purpose. It is being shifted towards the end of the post.}

Jak
Jak slowly made his way between each branch, searching for the next one that would lead closer to the ground that was within reach of either jumping or climbing.

Eventually he made his way down to the ground below with the waterfall to his side. He smiled as he looked towards the falls. The familiar silver-ish shine still visible in the light. The shine never seemed to go away. It was something he liked, especially whenever it changed colors.

He looked around to see if Obera had gotten to the bottom of the tree yet. When she does, he was going to ask her if she would hang out at the falls for a bit.

Fang had gone on a bit ahead she was now facing the water as the silver glow seemed to surround her. She had her arm's crossed and a slightly weird look on her face. Her head was slightly weird and it sorta pissed the Pokemon off. Still if one was to look at her she'd hide it well as she started doing now. "I could of died, I have to watch out more." She told herself as she waited for Jak. She wasn't that far away just a bit farther down. The bird was far away now.

Jak
Jak looked towards Obera, The ruins still fresh on his mind about almost dying. Being crushed to death doesn't exactly sound fun, nor pleasant. He walked up to Obera as he heard her state that she could have died today. He stopped next to her. "We both could have..." he said as he stared towards the water... He had a lot of thoughts running through his head at the moment. Ones about the moments of where if they had not escaped from those traps in the ruins. Others, about his feelings as he was around Obera.

The more he thought about it. He realized he had felt truly happy around Obera. Although he felt happy other times, it was a different kind of happiness to him. Something he couldn't explain to himself.

"Obera..." He stopped for a moment to think of what to say. He wasn't sure how to explain the emotions that ran through him.

"True, would of been worse if you died and I didn't." Fang said not adding the fact he was one of the few she could stand. She figured that was best kept to herself for now, this was actually quite a nice time she got to go to a dungeon and got to see her favorite element and evolution wasn't half bad either. She did hear him say her name so she thought it best to face him. The shiny turned around and looked right at Jak with a hint of a smile on her face. "Yes Jak?" She asked waiting for what he wanted to say.

Jak
Jak looked towards Obera as she turned towards him.
"Remember before we entered the dungeon... You were asking about what love was." he asked as he looked back towards the water. He then turned back towards her. "I didn't know the true answer either. Although what I had said is true. I don't truly understand it..." he said as he thought for a moment.

"Although I have felt happy as I spent time with others... You brought something that felt stronger then happiness..." he said very sincerely.

"I guess... Love is something strong enough to change your thoughts and feelings towards others. Sometimes even one's personality." he said to her.

"I am glad to be your friend." he said with a smile as he sat down next to the water.

"Yes, even now I still don't understand fully. Guess it's something you experience rather then learn about." Fang said as she heard the rest of what he said. "To be honest I'm glad for that, my upbringing and cold eye's normally make others fear me. I'm glad at least someone doesn't fear me." Fang said as she turned around to look at the water.

"What you say is true I do seem to lighten up around certain things." She said as she watched the water. She would face Jak but something wouldn't let her right now something in the back of her, Heart?. "Me to." She said with a smile he couldn't see.

Jak
"Yes, even now I still don't understand fully. Guess it's something you experience rather then learn about."
'Yes... That makes a lot of sense...' he thought to himself as she stated her idea on it.

"To be honest I'm glad for that, my upbringing and cold eye's normally make others fear me. I'm glad at least someone doesn't fear me." he looked towards her after she had said that as she had been looking at the water. He felt as if... she had just stated she didn't want others to fear her... That she was glad that he was someone that would not fear her.

"What you say is true I do seem to lighten up around certain things." Jak continued to listen to her as he had turned back to the water.

"Me too."
He thought for a moment as he thought he had heard her say me too.

He was sure she had said it. He smiled, he was glad to know that she was glad to be his friend.

He continued to think about what exactly love was. He did know it had to power to bring change to people. At some point as he was sitting he came to the conclusion that it was entirely possible for him to be in love with her. The fact that he felt happy around her yet it wasn't the normal happiness he felt as he was with others, had to have been a sign.

However he did not know how to admit such a thing... He wasn't entirely sure how she would handle it.

'What the hell is wrong with me, why can't I look at him' she questioned herself as she made it look like she was just looking at the water. She didn't even notice a small red line across her face, she was blushing and didn't even know it. 'why is my heart doing this to me?' she asked herself as she didn't even hear if Jak said anything. This was a bit strange for her she had no problem before talking looking at Jak but now something wouldn't let her.

The blush on her gold face seemed to increase as she wondered why she was feeling this way. She didn't have her normal nerve and couldn't even think to ask Jak what was going on with her. She just sat there and hoped somehow he didn't notice.

Jak
Jak hadn't heard her speak for a while. He looked over and noticed her starting to blush. She seemed frozen in place as if she was fighting something as she stared at the water... The blush on her face was growing stronger.

"Obera... Do... Do you like me?" He asked her as he had a slight blush on his face starting to form...
He was sure she did. Even if she was going to attempt to lie about it. There was no way to hide something like that after that. However he would accept it if she was to state not. He knew not to push for it.

"It... it's alright." He said with a smile. His blush got a bit stronger after he thought about it more. He figured she was trying to hide the fact.

Her face deepened in color. She looked more red then gold now as he uttered those words. "L-llllll" she could even finish her own words, she knew she was cornered right now and there was no way out of this. She couldn't even think straight right now nor talk so she decided to do the only thing she could right now and nodded shaking. This was something completely new to her and she had no idea how to respond.

This obviously wasn't the same with talking to Nico. That must of been another feeling. She felt like a idiot her face was still completely red right now and she couldn't even look at Jak.

Jak
Jak heard her try to say something but she was completely frozen up. He felt very bad for her since it was very obvious now that she did like him. He felt bad because of the fact she was frozen like that.

He had a heavy blush at that point also. However it had seemed her's was getting a lot stronger by the second...

"Obera... Just breathe." he said calmly. He knew by now he had probably had a similar shade of red on him... The fact she was normally a golden kind of yellow tone... Made it a lot more apparent then him.

"It. It is normal. Don't think too much on it..." he stated as he took a guess that she was questioning what was wrong with her... Since he remembered that she had asked what love was before they had entered the forest...

Fang thought about it for a moment, it was hard not to think about something when you are the typical of pokemon who tried to analyze everything going on and find a solution. The only solution she could think was to best up Jak, maybe then this would stop. She'd have no chance of winning though she couldn't even look him in the eye right now.

"Iii ahh wwweel" she tried to speak but was proven the fact that she couldn't think straight. Her face stop being so red as she calmed down. She was embarrassed considering how cold she was, having another see this was causing her to slightly panic.

Jak
Jak thought for a moment on what he could do to help out. He then thought that if he gave her a moment. She might feel better. "Obera..." he said as he got up. "I will give you a moment to yourself." He said with a smile. "You seem like you need a moment."

He started to walk towards the falls to see if that entrance they had used last time was still there... Turned out it was on the other side of the water... There was no path this side...

He then walked back up part of the way and sat down near the tree by the water. Thinking about what he should do next. He knew now that she liked him, he didn't want to push her though... She seemed very embarrassed.

She watched as Jak walked away and her face slowly returned to normal. A small part of her was happy he just left her...but the rest really didn't want him to go. "What's wrong with me?" She asked herself as she looked at the water. She'd have to learn more about this if she was ever going to be able to face Jak again.

"I've never learned anything about it." She said to herself wishing her teachers at least told her how to deal with this. Would of been helpful now considering she was acting like a idiot.

Jak
Jak was looking towards the water. He had a small smile on his face. It was not noticeable from a distance though. Every so often he felt he had to see how Obera was doing... However he did not want to bother her. He was stuck with one thing on his mind, Obera. 'She actually likes me' he kept thinking to himself...

He kept staring towards the small pond that resided slightly past the falls.

There was a pile of small stones next to the tree he was sitting against. He was still a bit red from the thought she liked him. He wasn't embarrassed.. He just... didn't entirely expect her to like him back.

He grabbed one of the stones and starting spinning it in his hands slowly, as if he was inspecting it... He then threw it into the pond as it made a delightful splash of rainbow-ish colors around where the water had rippled.

He smiled as it did that. It was one of the first few things that he saw Obera have fun with.

He picked up another stone and repeated the process a couple of times. He looked towards Obera's direction a few times to see if she was still sitting there...
