Shocking Friendships

The blue and black coated Pokemon was bounding to the pond that she loved to go to everyday after a long day of exploring. The sun was low in the sky, and the sweat from the eat and the exploring matted her fur on her body. When the Shinx got to the pond, she took some sips from the water, having forgotten to bring a lot of refreshments from home. She didn't think she would need them. Nor did she want them, challenging herself, yet again. Her fur glistened in the reddish light, glinting here and there. As Arashi took more sips, she listened around her, but only heard the rustling of leaves high above her.

A few moments later, she finished drinking from the pond, and picked her head up. The daylight was turning orange-pink, a beautiful color. One of the reasons Arashi liked to explore was the beauty in nature, but the challenge and daring of finding unique ways to solutions was the larger reason. She had no idea that she would meet new Pokemon that day.

Arashi followed Joey over to the pond, but stopped half-way when she realized that they were missing one passenger on the train. She looked behind her, and saw the Ralts still standing there. "Hey, Azeral, aren't you coming over?" The Shinx called out to one of her new acquaintances. "It's not like it's gonna be that dangerous, right? And even if it is, what fun would it be not to try to test yourself?"

Joey
Joey was enjoying the electrical currents in the water that he was emitting into it. They seem to jump out of the water and land on it, only to have it in some point of time jump back up. He was starting to giggle as he did this. Forcing out a little more juice as it built up the charge in the area. Joey saw what appeared to be a small electrical flash bounce off the corner of the lake that was unlike the sparks he was producing. He looked up and noticed the clouds were actually starting to get a bit closer. Some even started forming right over them.
Joey took his tail out of the water and stared at the enormous clouds looming overhead. He then jumped up and down a bit as he quickly charged up and shot a thundershock straight into the sky. He then grabbed onto the ground as the return shock of lightning struck him. “Lightning!” he squealed with joy.

"Huh?" Azeral was snapped out of her small daze as the Pokemon talked to her. "Oh sorry of was just thinking" she lied as she walked over to the pond. "Ya it won't be I'm sure. It's just when I'm around electric types I like to watch them. I like the moves and abilities" Azeral said with a small laugh. She then saw Joey send a small bolt of electricity up to the sky and saw another bolt come down and strike him. If she hadn't seen this before she would of been concerned. "Looks like it" she said with a smile

Arashi looked back at Joey. The Shinx was in awe, she'd never seen an Electric type do that before. She decided she wanted to jump in and test her resistance to electricity. The Flash Pokemon's eyes reflected the lightning's glare, and she ran up to Joey and jumped into the area to get shocked. Her body jerked about, but she didn't mind it that much. Sure, it was hard getting used to so much electricity at once, and having never taken this much at one time didn't help matters, either. But this was all a challenge to her, and the more daring the challenge, the better.

Joey
Joey was knocked out of the way as the shinx had taken the bolt of energy from the sky. Joey failed to ground the energy that did manage to strike him making him completely stunned from both being knocked out of the way and then the leftover energy not being released.
Joey was lying flat next to the pond. “errrrr” he groaned slightly as he got up slowly. He fell down once as he had slipped due to being so close to the water. It was a little muddy there. He then got up and attempted to regain his balance. He managed to and looked at the now completely shocked shinx…. He frowned at the fact it did that… “That was my bolt!” he said with a frown. He then got dizzy real quick and fell down. His face was starting to turn a little red. “ughh…” he did not feel too good. He had sparks occasionally jump off his cheek after a couple minutes of lying there.

Azeral saw the event go down. She did understand a bit of what was going on but she couldn't do much. Mostly because she could only take a few hits before she got knocked out. She did notice Joey fall down and just stayed there. "Joey" she said as she used her shadow sneak skill in order to move through her shadow then appear next to the small pichu. "Hey are you ok?" She ask worried if the same thing that had happened to him before happened again.

When the bolt was gone, Arashi was lying on the floor. She didn't know what had happened to the Pichu until she got up and looked over in his direction. The Shinx saw him lying on the ground, mumbling to himself, and Azeral was right next to him. "Oh no, what happened, what happened!" She said, already knowing the answer, but hoping against hope that it wasn't correct. If it was her fault, she would never be able to forgive herself for hurting one of her friends, even if it was an accident. "Oh, please be alright!"

Joey
Joey groaned a little more as more sparks started to fly off his cheeks. If one was to feel him. He would feel like he was burning up. He just laid there flat on the ground. He was unable to move at all. He had his eyes closed tightly as if he was in pain… “Az…Azeral…” he attempt to get Azeral’s attention. He did not know she was already near him though. After a few seconds another spark shot off his cheek. It had a lot of force to it and it shot towards the shinx and another bolt shot towards the water. The tiny mouse pokemon was not in any good condition. He needed to get the energy out but is unable to… It was built up in his cheeks.

Azeral was next to Joey as Arashi asked what was wrong with him. "He overcharged so he won't be fine for a bit" she said as she felt his head. He was really warm right now so she was a bit worried. "I don't know what is going to happen nor how I help" she said worried . She didn't know what to do and she was concerned for him. "Do you know what to do?" She asks wondering if another electric type knew what to do

Arashi, after learning of what the problem was, remembered something her father told her. On one of his adventures, he and his friends were messing around, and the Pikachu of the group had gotten overcharged. He knew from experience that a Pikachu, or any of its evolutionary line, needed to release this energy. What he did was he took in the energy, and then he was able to discharge it out. The problem with this situation is that Arashi doesn't know how to do it, her father never told her. "I think I know what to do." The Shinx did know what to do by instinct. She put her tail to the Pichu's cheeks, and put all of her energy into it, and did the same for the other. "There, now all he needs is some rest, and he'll be fine." She said tiredly. He face was pale, and her eyes didn't have the usual spark in them. "Hey, since when were there four of you two...?" She was saying when she passed out.

Joey
Joey had the energy taken from his cheeks. Immediately after that had happened his cheeks stopped giving off sparks. He groaned slightly as he kept his eyes closed. They did not look in pain anymore however he looked like he was just about to sleep. His temperature was slowly returning to normal. After a while he would look normal. The shinx was correct that he was going to need rest. However it would seem that the shinx might have made the mistake of keeping the energy within… There was a lot of charge within the small pichu’s cheeks. It was pretty obvious after the shinx had passed out…
 
The tiny mouse pokemon slowly looked more comfortable as he rested.

Azeral looked as she watched what happened to the two of them. She didn't really know what was going down but she noticed that both of the pokemon had passed out leaving her the only one not asleep. "Uhh well" she said to herself still holding Joey as he was asleep. "Well good I'm the only one u" she didn't finish her sentence as a large tree branch fell down right on her head and knocked her out. "Ughh" she then dropped Joey and fainted

About ten minutes later, the Shinx had awoken. She was trying to remember what happened, when she looked over at the still resting Pichu. She couldn't have felt any worse knowing that she was the cause of Joey's state, even if it was on accident and she had fixed him up as well as she could. She went back over to the pond, where the water was still a bit shocked. Arashi took a drink from the water, trying to get her energy back up. "I hope I was able to help, but I'm still the only one to blame." She mumbled to herself.

Joey
Joey stirred slightly but was still asleep as the shinx had woken up. The tiny mouse pokemon definitely looked better than before. He was no longer having a strong fever nor did he look flushed from it. No sparks were coming off his cheeks and was sleeping soundly. It actually looked pretty cute… The clouds were getting pretty close over head as the wind started to pick up a little bit more as the storm was now approaching, although Joey managed to get the lightning to strike earlier by sending a connecting charge. ^{A spot so that the lightning had a path to follow} the storm was not fully formed then and was only possible due to the amount of energy in the air.
 
As the storm was getting closer it was apparent that it would probably be a very heavy downpour. Everything would most likely get soaked in it. There was a couple brief moments were thunder was heard…

Azeral was slightly away from the both of them with a large tree branchover her. She looked pretty best up as her head was bruised and her arm and leg looked hurt also. She wasn't getting up quickly and she remains there. There was also another branch on her but her face could be seen. Mostly her black hood but she seemed to be very hurt.
