Exploring the Forest

Joey {13} ^{-5 from travel}
Joey was on his way to Pecha Forest. He kept believing it was one of the safer places to explore. He was getting a little tired of being in the village all the time. He wanted to room for a bit. He had informed Azeral that he would be out for a bit exploring the area around the outside of town.

Joey wanted to get used to the forest once more. Being in a town all the time had taken a bit on him. He used to travel through the tree's all the time. Going from tree to tree. It was fun to him. Occasionally he would get to chase a storm.

Joey looked around as he passed through the forest's entrance. He felt a little uneasy as he entered it. Being that he is not used to being in dungeons for a while. He did not realize that the dungeon would usually give off this feeling. A feeling of hostility. He decided nothing of it at the time and continued into the forest. He took a look at the sun and saw it was still rising over the horizon, early morning.

He smiled as he had plenty of time to explore the area before having to head back. He began to climb one of the tree's and got on top of one of the branches. He looked into the forest and smiled. He was ready to explore this forest.

Bullwinkle felt a tap, and heard the muffled sound of a hello. He slowly peeked the top of his eyes out of the hard earthen shell. "Hi..." He said quietly, extending his right arm, "Pleased to meet you..." he said holding his hand, which was much larger than the others Pokemon's, out for a shake. 'oh gosh what do I do to make a good impression? Do i stand up? No that would hurt his neck having to look up! What do I do!?' Bullwinkle's mind raced, his hand still held out in front of him.

Natsu got a but tired of this and the young Zorua just gave a small sigh. "Hey c'mon mate now's not the time to be hiding, just come on out of that ball we won't hurt you. I mean I've had multiple chances to attack and I haven't so isn't that proof enough for a little bit of trust" he said in a calm voice not wanting to deal with this anymore. He didn't show he was annoyed but he did have a small amount of disappointment behind his voice.

Joey looked the odd pokemon's extended arm. "My name is Joey. Friends like to call me sparks sometimes." he said with a smile. He then ran over to the Zorua. "My name's Joey, and you are?" Joey might not have heard Natsu earlier when he introduced himself. "You look cool." he said to the pokemon as he took note of its colors. "What kind of pokemon are you?" he asked as he did not see a fox type pokemon of this set of colors before.

"Bullwinkle..." Bulwinkle replied introducing himself, "just Bullwinkle" he continued, his glow changing back to their usual pale yellow, extending the rest of his limbs, and getting up  onto his feet and toddling (hard to walk normally with knees that don't move too much) over to the other two pokemon. "Yeah! You do look pretty cool,"

"Huh?" Was all Natsu said as the two Pokemon commented on his appearance. "Well I don't think I'm that cool, just a normal Zorua" was his response. He talked in a clear calm voice which made him seem older then most. "I'm Natsu the Zorua" he said thinking that he had given his name out already. "So why are you two here?" He asked wondering what brought these two here. He hoped they were not outlaws

"You change colors... Neat!" he said to bullwinkle. "How do you do that?" He asked bullwinkle. It looked neat to him.

Joey turned towards the Zorua. "Oh... I am here just to explore the area around town..." he said in a cheery tone. He looked towards Bullwinkle. " Joey turned back towards the tree he fell out of. It was pretty tall. He wondered how he did not get injured from the fall.

Natsu looked up at the sky and saw the bird that threw him. He let out a small growl at the bird mad that it dropped him. "You don't find a adventure. Anything which involves walking through something involves a adventure" Natsu explained wondering what finding a adventure would be like. Treasure was a good thing though so he might find something if interest.

Joey turned back towards the other two pokemon. He was still a little nervous about their intentions. He was a bit slow to trust others at times. He was still healing from his past. "Treasure..." he said softly to himself. He looked towards the fox like pokemon. "So natsu... I am guessing from that look you gave at the bird up there. That is where you fell from." he said with a bit of sympathy. He would not have liked to fall that distance.

"I wouldn't survive from a fall like that, too heavy," Bullwinkle said shifting his body with his hands (the way one adjusts pants) "But how would I get up their any way," He said shrugging. Looking around at the rough brown bark on the surrounding trees, the branch the pichu was standing on lying on the ground. The leaves were a healthy green, the only berries hanging from them unripe. "This spot looks like is picked clean of any treasure," Bullwinkle said looking back at the other two pokemon, "We would have to go a little deeper to find anything..." He said looking in between them. "Are you with me?" He said, tilting his head in question.

Natsu looked at the bird as he looked away. "Ya I don't want to think about it. The bird thought I was actually a Bug Pokemon and tried to eat me." Natsu said as he looked at the Pokemon. What was with him and treasure. "Fine I'll tag along then." He then looked at Joey. "What about you? You don't have a look of actual trust you don't have to come with" Natsu said able to see this Pokemon didn't seem to know what to do. Natsu didn't trust anyone but you don't need to trust them to help them.

Joey looked at the Zorua for a moment. Then back towards the Golett. He did not know. "I can stay for a bit." he said. It was true that he was unsure about coming along. There was no harm in it at the moment. He just hoped he did not make the wrong decision in coming along with them. He had to leave before nightfall though. He needed to return back home before then, else he might get in some trouble.

"OK! Were all ready then!" Bullwinkle said smiling, his glow becoming even more vibrant till it was a strong dandelion golden. He began toddling into the woods happily, glad in meeting new, friendly pokemon. He tripped on a root, rolling for a bit, but popped out with his feet below him, pushing him onto his feet as he continued on his merry way. "We're going to go have some fun! We're going to get some treasure! We're going on an adventure!" He said happily, continuing to look under rocks, reaching his hand into holes in the trees, looking for something, anything that could be interesting. "Come on you two!" Bullwinkle said gesturing towards the other two pokemon.

"Why do I let myself get dragged into things like this, all that stupid bird's fault" he said silently as he walked onward. There couldn't be to many things here that counted as treasure. Though seeing how he acted this guy would think a rock was a treasure. He walked on but he did glance at the Pichu for a moment. "Nah" he said as he turned his head and kept walking.

Joey sighed and followed the golett along the path of the forest. He stayed a little closer to the Zorua then the golett. "So you can transform into other pokemon?" he asked as he remember hearing that the bird thought he was food. It was something the Pichu had not heard of before. It was just too odd to not ask about. He did not realize it was not really transforming. It was more of creating an illusion.
