| First topic message reminder :- Spoiler:
The sound of my breath fills my ears. My legs feel like they're made of brick. My lungs are on fire. My vision has gone unfocused. The stairs are blurs. So many. I turn the corner. Three more flights to go. I've got to make it in time. It can't happen again. Not like this. Not here. I won't let it. It's my responsibility.
I swing around the next corner. Two flights. I was lucky. So lucky. They had been careful. It had taken me weeks to find their safe house. Changed everything. So bold. Had to be fast. Drove on the sidewalk. Wish I could fly. Couldn't call authorities. Would just tip them off. Move up their time table. Had to come alone. It was happening tonight.
Last corner. Last flight. My throat burns. Tears in my eyes. Must keep running. Just hope I'm not too late. When I arrived, security was gone. All dead. So many bodies. Blood everywhere. Precise shots. Experts. Still, here of all places? How could they have gotten in? It was unthinkable. Can't concentrate. How many are there? Can I stop it? I have to try. Still people in the building. Thousands. Have to do something.
I turn the corner and see a glimmer in the dark. Barrel. I drop to the floor and as my chest hits the concrete I hear a blast. Bullet whizzes past my head. More. The ground explodes around me as I roll to the right. My shoulder slams into the wall and I whip out my revolver. Squint. Shadow. Muzzle blast lights up his face as he falls.
I scramble up and keep going. Adrenaline is back. Leap over the corpse and kick in the door. They know I'm here now. Going to be a shootout. Floor 109.
Before I get past the door, pops to my left. Drop to my knee and turn. Shadow. The recoil jerks at my hand. He slumps against the wall. I hear a magazine click into a receiver behind me. Leap through the glass wall besides me. Just in time. The hallway seems to explode. I land on my shoulder, and twist around, taking aim. Another pop. More glass shatters. He's down.
I haul myself up by a desk. Dead man's face meets mine. Worker. Innocent. Didn't need to die. I curse.
Walking over the glass shards, my breathing slows. I need to concentrate. How many? Three of them so far. Three bullets left. Didn't have time to grab more.
The hallways are so dim, lit only by the lights of the city outside. New York. My city. It seems so small from up here. So vulnerable. Have to protect it.
I press my shoulder into a corner and peek around. It looks clear, then movement. Muzzle flash fills my vision. Bullets fly past as I dig into the corner. Ears ringing. Full auto. M-16 by the sound.Military grade. How?
Pause. Reloading. I step out and rush down the hall. Shadow turns out, gun ready. I duck as gunfire erupts just above my head. My shoulder lowers and I drive it into the man's stomach. I hear the air rush out of his lungs as we both go to the ground.
I'm on top. He tries to get a line with the gun. I grab the barrel with my hands and press the metal down against his neck. He struggles. Gagging. Hot barrel is beginning to sear through my gloves. Head-but to disorient. Press my revolver against his temple and end it. I feel the hot blood spray across my mask. Repress the urge to vomit. Two bullets left.
Push myself up and continue to work my way towards what I'm looking for. Only had moments to look at the building schematics. I feel disoriented in the dark. My hand presses into the wall to guide me. I can still hear my breath. It's ragged. Still haven't recovered from the stairs.
It must be here somewhere. But where? Where?! If only I could see. Then I could- I gag and am pulled off my feet. Behind. Choking. Slam my elbow behind me blindly. Impact does nothing. Big man. Again. Nothing. Can't get leverage. Can't touch my feet to the floor.
Stars in my vision. Try to pry off his fingers. No use. Throat closing up. Can't breath. Hear myself gasping. Vision is beginning to blur. Starting to blackout. I want to scream. Everything is going black.
No choice.
Shove my revolver into my left shoulder.
Angle.
Woozy. About to slip.
Need air. Hands shaking.
Squeeze.
The vice loosens. Feet touch the floor.
Still no air.
Won't die here.
I refuse.
Squeeze.
Release!
I fall to the floor. As I try to catch myself, my left arm gives way. Gasp as I feel my shoulder rip open.
Pain and relief mix as I inhale shallow breaths. I feel the blood pool under my shoulder. Loosing it fast. Need to move. Tuck gun in my pocket. Useless now. Push myself up to my feet with my right arm. Dizzy. Can't see straight.
Move!
I slide along the hallway, walls supporting me. Should be just around the corner. Just a few more steps. I can't be too late. I can't be. Please God.
I round the edge and see him. Behind him is a giant window. I can see the city outside. He's outlined against the lights, like some ghastly statue. Detonator in his hand. Besides him, the bomb. If I read their plans right, enough explosives to level the entire building and bring down the surrounding area. Four blocks at least. All those people.
"Put it down..." My voice is hoarse and weak. Hardly intimidating.
He's chanting something. Can't make it out. Foreign.
I limp towards him. "I said... Down..."
Still chanting. Flips off the safety
"I SAID PUT IT DOWN!"
The chant ends. His thumb moves towards the detonator.
I charge. Slam my shoulder into him. Hear the detonator clatter to the ground. He grabs my head. Just now realize I've lost my hat somewhere. My face slams into a desk besides him. Nose broken and bleeding. My hand gropes the hard wood. He slams my face again.
Feel light headed. See a pen holder topple over. Grasp onto one. He brings my head up again. I click the pen and ram it into his thigh. He screams and let's go of my head. I tackle him back against the glass window. See his eyes. Brown. Crazed.
I thrust my knee into his rib cage. He doubles over. Right hook to the rib cage again. And again. And again. I can feel his bones breaking beneath my fist. I keep punching over and over. He coughs blood onto my shirt. Raise his jaw up and deliver a right haymaker to his chin. He crumples to the floor.
I take a knee and grab him by his shirt, pulling him up to face me. Blood running from his mouth. Smiling.
I can hardly see straight. Not sure if it's rage or blood loss.
"Who do you work for?"
Silence.
I'm done with this.
I wrap my hand around his face and slam the back of his head against the ground. I feel him yelp beneath my hand.
"Who do you work for?! Who?!"
He begins to laugh.
I am not playing.
Get up. Grab a chair. Metal. Slam it against the window. It cracks. Again. Little spider webs form. Again. The glass begins to give. My left arm has gone numb. I rear back and toss the the chair. The window shatters.
Immediately the wind howls through the building. At this height, it's practically freezing. I grab him again and hold him right at the edge. The balls of his feet are barely touching the floor.
Feel vertigo. So high. We both could fall.
"WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?!"
Can barely hear myself over the wind.
He smiles wider than ever before. I see his teeth. Pearly white. Disgusting.
He grabs my hand and begins to cackle. Before I can react, he's pushed away from my grip.
"NO!"
He tumbles down, laughter echoing on the wind.
I stumble back. Take a moment to process. He's gone.
I shuffle over to the detonator and disarm the bomb.
A sigh.
I nearly faint. So tired.
So many questions.
Phone.
Make a call.
It's ringing.
Lights come back on. Back up power. Elevator dings. I see it open to concerned office goers. I slump inside.
"Floor 1, please. Call 911 after I leave."
They see the bomb. The scene of the scuffle. Broken window. They're smart enough to see what I've done. One of them presses the button. I fall against the floor. Don't blame them for not supporting me. Scared.
Phone picks up.
"You had better have a damn good reason for ca-"
"Zen. Contingency Omega."
A quick pause.
"I'll have the messages sent right away."
"Good. I need pick up."
"Where?"
I laugh.
"Tallest building in the West Hemisphere. New Trade Center."
"I'm on my way."
She hangs up.
I place the phone on the elevator floor and smash it with my fist. Breaks into pieces.
I look up at the people. They are eyeing me. I must look odd under the elevator's harsh lights.
"Don't try to take off the mask. Trapped."
They nod.
I note they all look tired.
"Long night for you too, huh?"
I chuckle.
Everything goes black.

| Just as Finn began to realize the scream had probably come from inside the warehouse, the door suddenly opened and Yuliya ran in. Then Sera went in after her. He just stood there for a moment, wondering what the rush was. Then he remembered the scream had probably come from inside and suddenly ran in as well. The elevator was there waiting for them and they all got inside, then came the waiting. The scream had probably been nothing, so it didn't really worry him too much. After all, Shade seemed to be pretty good at the whole vigilante thing, so he doubted anyone would be getting in this place to cause any significant harm.
On the way down, his anticipation built for finally being able to have a bit of time to get to know this group he was going to be staying. What was more, he would finally get to give them all the candy he'd bought for them! And Shade wouldn't even be able to get mad about it because he'd used his own money! Oh, the thought of actually getting all of these badasses to like him filled him with d e t e r m i-
The door opened, and the little Russian ball of doom shot out. It took Lucky a moment to piece together what was happening, but once he had, he really felt like the reaction of immediately attacking was a bit overkill. There was a guy in the middle of the room whom he didn't recognize, though the guy didn't seem to be doing anything wrong. Zen was also there, and she wasn't attacking the guy, so clearly there was no need for the aggression! The random guy acted in what seemed like it could be perceived as a cocky manner toward Yuliya and the Russian girl tried to attack him again and again, going so far as to send a clone to grab her shotgun. Oh, right, she HAD A SHOTGUN.
Then he heard fire lighting up and noticed a distinct glow coming from behind him. He turned around to see flames just beginning to come off of Sera's body, and that was when he decided he'd had enough. Too much fighting for too little reason had happened today. Sera tried to run past him to join in the fight, but he put his hand out in front of her. "Stop," he said in a firm and slightly annoyed tone, "You stay here."
The human torch seemed surprised at him pretty much ordering her to do something. She did indeed stop, though, whether out of respect for his request or just pure shock. He then turned around and stamped over to the others, picking Yuliya up off the ground by her shirt from behind. "Turn off the shotgun clone," he said in his same demanding tone before looking to the new guy, who was currently standing on top of the clone he'd just mentioned. "Get off the shotgun clone," he demanded once more with a very serious look on his face that was a bit out of place given his usually happy demeanor.
He then looked over to the couch and noticed there was an unconscious Nick on it, and a rat. "And you! ....Keep doing what you're doing...." he spoke to the rat, his tone suddenly becoming lighter and more welcoming like normal. He leaned in a bit closer to the rat, noticing a collar, and read the name before continuing, "....Lucy." Cute name. He wished the situation wasn't currently so violent so he could cuddle the rat.... And he couldn't help but wonder why the person from earlier who'd been bleeding all over the couch was now back in pretty much the same position minus the blood.... and different upper body clothing.

| The guy thought he had dodged her pipe and smirked. This was what Yuliya had expected, she had been banking on it. As her barrage of violence escalated, the stranger asked her to stop and let him explain. She couldn't oblige him; she was too focused than "taking care" of the little "problem" that had invaded their space. He refused to cooperate, however. She glared at him as he stood atop the clone holding her shotgun.
He must have had some kind of power for him to be able to be dodging everything she threw at him like this. His reflexes were unreal, and Yuliya knew a thing or two about unreal reflexes. She had been seeing people fighting on instinct all her life, but he was better than all of them combined. It was a little annoying honestly; sure he could dodge physical attacks and sure he could probably get out of the way of Sera's fireballs, but he had to know he was outmatched, at least. The least he could do if he wasn't going to die was run away. He could run in circles all he wanted but eventually they'd take him down... if they wanted to help her. She saw Sera lighting up out of the corner of her eye, and this immediately made her start changing her plan of attack. Even if Sera wasn't totally a "team" player, she made a flashy distraction. Yuliya started to go for her gun...
And failed.
Holy shit. Lucky got serious. He even picked her up.... What even was this?!?
Yuliya felt her whole world imploded into itself.
After the shock, Yuliya kind of felt bad. Maybe he wanted to take the first shot...? No, all he wanted was peace. The young girl dangled slightly sadly in his grip, feeling almost the least bit guilty. She didn't say anything, but it was clear she was done.

| The barbarian didn't seem to show any signs of backing off or relaxing so he could explain himself, considering she was just standing there and glaring at him. Breaking eye contact, he looked back to the elevator once more, catching sight of the two others standing there. One of them seemed to be another guy, and the other...was on fire.
The elevator was officially no longer a possible safe spot. Roy glanced back for a moment, turning to check the hall. He could run, but he had no idea where he was going. He'd either get lost, run into a dead end, get tired out and become an open target, or literally all three at once. He was officially screwed.
As Yuliya started to go for her gun, he flinched and brought his arms up to his face. "Lemon? Lemon!" He yelled out, getting ready to jump off of the clone. However, from what he could see, something else seemed to intervene. The girl in the elevator wasn't on fire anymore, and the boy had picked the Russian mad lady up off the ground by her shirt. The redhead gave a sigh of relief as the instructions came from the kid, instructing them both to basically stop. Great, at least somebody here was willing to talk things out...
"Yeah. Yeah, sure..." Roy responded, sounding a little hesitant after the way this guy seemed to go from a dead serious tone to a very...light and welcoming one. That was weird, no doubt about it. With a quick hop, he jumped down behind the rabid girl's clone, staying behind it though, as if using it as a shield for the moment.
"Uh...hi. I'm Roy and I'm supposed to be here. Please don't let Elmer Fudd kill me." He simply stated, looking over the group from behind the clone, still a bit wary from what he was pretty sure could have been a near-death experience.

Suddenly, everything kicked off. Yul had overreacted. Attacking Roy. Sera seemed ready to join.
Zen was ready to jump in, but then, just as suddenly as it had begun, it ended. And Finn was the one who had put his foot down.
Impressive.
At least she didn't need to get involved. Her ego was still stinging after the last round she had endured with the little Russian Rowdy Rocket. She wasn't about to go off half-cocked again...
Speaking of half-cocked, Zen strides over, snatched the shotgun from the girl's hand, popped out the shells, and then handed it back, but not before giving her a soft bump on then dad with the barrel and a chiding wag of the finger.
"Don't be so quick to blood. You'll one day regret it."
She then patted Lucky on the back.
"Good job. Way to Dr. Phil the situation."
Now, addressing both.
"You get my booze?" | |

| Yuliya was still just kind of hanging from the fluffy puppy kid's fist in same and a little bit of confusion. She didn't know the guy was supposed to be there... for whatever reason he was supposed to be there. What was she supposed to think, living in a sketchy, dank place under a sketchy, dank wear house that smelled like mildew and the broken dreams of men? The white mask masked lady made a fair point though... she was so used to being on her toes that her instincts drove her crazy. All of her decisions were typically quick ones, but she was also used to feeling like her life or her body were in harms way... was that so wrong? The thoughts spun and spun in her head, and the lead in her stomach grew heavier and heavier. Her eyes started to burn.
"....sorry," Yuliya managed to hiccup past the tears that she was holding back, "sorry. Please put me down. I... wvant to go to bed." She wasn't incredibly enthralled by the prospect of being alone with her thoughts, but she was also exhausted and she didn't want to be with the others anymore. Not when she had made herself out to be the villain in the situation. Yuliya felt stares that may or may not have been there, and she clenched up uncomfortably.

| As Finn held the girl, he noticed that she was awfully light. He.... wasn't very strong.... or at least, he didn't think he was. Maybe he'd been wrong all along and he was just.... like.... really thin and 90% muscle or something? No, he was pretty sure he wasn't very strong, so the only sensible explanation was that Yuliya was very oddly light. Yeah.... that had to be it. He was glad to see that he'd successfully stopped a fight, and he was happy no one had gotten hurt.... except maybe a certain someone who was passed out on the couch.
He received a pat on the back from the masked woman, and it just made him feel so giddy. Then verbal praise only made him feel even better. However, he didn't just feel good about himself; he felt good for everyone else too since no-one had to get hurt. He didn't like others getting hurt, and.... he'd already learned Yuliya was dangerous if left to do what she pleased. In hindsight, he'd really put himself in danger intervening, but it'd all worked out well. If he hadn't have done it, he for some reason doubted it wouldn't have turned out quite as well since Yuliya didn't really seem to like anyone else much. Did she even like him? Probably, since she'd willingly stopped being so aggressive.
Then.... Yuliya started being all sad and it just broke the boy's heart. Suddenly, everything he'd done all seemed meaningless, just because one person was upset. No bloodshed, and everyone else seemed satisfied, but just one member of the group was sad now. Worse, he was pretty sure it was his fault, since he had been the one to stop the fight in the first place. Yuliya sounded like she was about to cry now! He'd been to mean.... Zen was being too mean.... Yuliya was still a kid, right? A very dangerous kid, but.... a kid.
After a moment of contemplating the situation, Finn decided to release his captive, gently lowering her to the ground. However, he wasn't intending to just let her go to her room and sulk. No, that was simply an unacceptable outcome. So, instead of just letting Yuliya go on to her room, he made sure to set her down facing toward him.... And then he would attempt to give her a hug. It was pretty easy to do, since they were actually pretty close to each other in height. He was.... a very short person.

| A short sigh of relief escaped Roy's lips as he stayed where he was, not wanting to make anything that might be misconstrued as a "sudden move" of any kind. He glanced over at Cyclops, who seemed to be stepping in to take the gun and...wait. Hadn't Zen been there the entire time? Was she...was she just watching? Just standing there? The entire time?
...
What.
Zen knew that he was supposed to be there. She could have just spoken up and said something about it, couldn't she have? Unless this was a test, but considering the masked woman seemed to appreciate that it ended without violence, he figured it couldn't have been. Cyclops seemed to have some kind of authority in the area anyways, so why hadn't she done something like, hmm, maybe at least trying to speak up and clear up the whole situation? He could have died right there, and she was just kicking back, thinking about booze?
Eh. It was all water under the bridge now. He didn't really care that much about it.
"You know, Cyclops, if you wanted me to shut up you could have just asked first. I mean, I would have politely declined, but you didn't have to start with plotting my demise." Roy remarked pretty casually for a guy who had almost been on the business end of a shotgun, finding himself comfortable enough to step over towards the others. As he did, he blinked, suddenly realizing something.
"Oh, and Guy's conked out there on the couch. I think he passed out." He added as he took a few steps before kicking back and rolling the rest of the way there, catching notice of the sullen look Fudd seemed to have, in stark contrast to her overzealous murder-happy look. Mentally questioning what he should do, he rolled up beside her and the other guy, reaching a hand out to try and gently pat her head.
"Hey, don't sweat it, kid. You gave it an honest effort, and that's respectable. Just save it for someone else next time, alright?" He suggested calmly, giving a slight shrug as he tried to comfort the sad girl. Sure, she had just been trying to kill him and all, but there was something about seeing a sad little girl that got to him, and after all, he was still alive.

| His head rose slowly, groggy and in need of sleep. He found himself half on and half off the couch...he needed to stop passing out. Get a good rest so his body did not have to keep enforcing it. He heard an excited squeak, a familiar squeak. He blinked, a bit confused at first before discovering that a certain rat had leaped off of him and onto the couch as he woke up.
"Oh, and Guy's conked out there on the couch. I think he passed out." He heard the voice of the newcomer.
He propped himself up correctly on the couch and spoke up, "I'm good now..." afterwards he added in a quieter tone, "I think?"
The others seemed to be having some kind of bonding moment, as Lucky was opening his arms for some kind of loving embrace while the new guy simply pat the little girl on the head and scarface was not looking so sure on how to react to any of this. He did not spy Shade around or that Wither person, but the creepy whiteout masked wonder was here. He kept to himself, the rat jumping onto his lap as he leaned an elbow on the armrest and held his head up. He looked down to the rat, "How the hell did you get here you little sneak?" he mumbled. The rat merely groomed behind her ears, bringing her paws over her round ears and all the way to the point of her nose.
He glanced back to the group, remaining silent as they had their little moment. The sprung herself from the lap and latched onto his jacket before climbing up...wait, jacket? Last he remembered he was shirtless. He looked down at the clothing that had somehow magicked itself onto him before looking back to the group. The new guy was now missing a jacket. Well then, maybe the guy didn't have a total death wish.
The rat squeaked, looking at the group with apparent interest as she perched on Nick's shoulder.

Zen watched everything that happened around her and sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. She was working on very little sleep, it had been a very long day, and her patience was wearing thin. the best thing she could do now was deescalate the situation and send everyone to cool off and relax.
With Lucky starting a full on hug-fest, she saw her oppertunity to step in and take advantage of the situation.
"Alright, I think we've all had a long day and would benefit from a good night's rest, don't you think? I sure do.
"And by that I mean it's bedtime, kids. Right now."
She whistled a little tune and the lights switched off, save rows of tiny lights on the floor leading around the furniture and into other rooms. Lit by the floor lights, Zen pointed them all in the direction of the bedrooms.
"Now march. Wake up time is at 6 o'clock sharp. You all have a very busy day ahead of you tomorrow. I expect to not see any tired, sleepy eyes when we rouse you out of bed. I'll put away the groceries, you lot just get some shut eye."
She crossed her arms authoritatively, content to stand there until each of them found there way into their rooms.
(Shade)
Shade tooted just a tad in his sleep.

| Oh NOW she directs them towards the dorms. Nick was content with merely sleeping on the couch at this rate, but he had to admit a bed sounded better. He forced himself up, Lucy clinging to the jacket in order to not fall off. White-mask makes a comment about waking up 6AM sharp, he doubts he'll be physically capable of handling that, but says nothing in favor of getting to the damn room. He spots it: a computer in one of the rooms. Dibs. He disappears into the room and shuts the door behind him, not bothering to say "goodnight" to any of the others and locking the door behind him. He's standing at the door still, a hand reaching up to offer as a platform for the rat. She hops onto his hand before he lowers her to the ground, "Search," he spoke to her. The rat looked at him before skittering off under the bed and into places he could not fit as he surveyed the walls. It did not seem like there was any security cameras up there, and the rodent did not find any either in the tiny nooks and crannies he could survey. The rodent climbed up onto the bed as he moved towards the computer. As much as he would like to sleep, he prioritized seeing what this computer did. He moved as if to sit in the chair, his hand touching the mouse and keyboard. However before he could sit he had disappeared into thin air as his coding flooded into the computer. It was new, but the defenses were a bit dull. After a bit of swift searching through the coding of the computer, there was different variances in it from the average computer. It was hooked up to a bigger computer, sending information to it and monitoring his progress. They were watching him. Annoyance boiled within him. Why the hell did they ask him to help if they did not trust him? Just what the hell was he going to do that could fuck up their things so much? Weren't they the ones that were supposed to be such elite hackers that they discovered his stuff and if that was the case then why the hell was he here? As much as he would have loved to put the so called "leet haxors"'s defenses to the test, he was too exhausted right then. But first...he felt the need to display that he knew they were watching him. - Spoiler:
Ew god no...
A little better...
Hm...
....nah that's too much...
Good enough...
He left the computer after disabling the mic, camera, and speakers of the computer. No way he was going to listen to that shit as he fell asleep. He took the jacket off, spying some clothes and throwing on a real shirt before flopping onto the bed face first. ...the bed was too stiff. He honestly did not give a shit anymore as he drifted into a more willing sleep as a small furry critter curled up in a small ball on his back.

| Yuliya was suddenly overwhelmed again as Lucky set her down... And proceeded to hug her. She could feel her eyes burning worse now as thoughts flew through her head. The only person she had gotten consistent hugs from.... well, not counting the disgusting ones she got from her biological dad, was her step father, who Lucky was now.... vaguely starting to remind Yuliya of. Luck was much to... Soft to be her dad, but they both had very good hearts. The little Russian proceeded to hug Lucky back, bawling softly into his shoulder. She hadn't cried in ages, not since the move to America. This wasn't a bad cry, though... it was relieving. Maybe it was even a little melancholy. She just sat there and cried with Lucky for a little while before a patting on the head made her look up. It was the person that she had thought was a trespasser, now patting her head. She struggled, but managed to let out a small "sorry" in between hiccups. The lady in the mask mentioned bed, and honestly now it was all Yuliya could think about. She was tired, very very tired. She just nodded at the lady, and then gave Lucky one more hug before retreating to her room, shutting the door, and then disappearing under the cover of the mildly suspicious bed that she had been provided.

| Huh. Elmer Fudd seemed to actually be crying now. That was a hair past awkward...and definitely not in his line of expertise. Game over, man. Abort mission. Disengage. Eject. Eject! Mayday!
Roy pulled his hand back from her head and took a few steps back, giving a little 360 degree spin on his heels as he did so, deciding to watch the rest of the emotion fest from a safer distance. He didn't exactly want to get into too much mushy stuff with the others. Hell, he didn't even know the others all that well, and even if he had, he was never good with feelings or crying or that stuff.
Of course, that was when Zen decided to enter squad mom mode(or SMM for short). The woman seemed to get more authoritative, telling the group to find their rooms and get some sleep. Tomorrow's wake up time was going to be six o'clock, apparently, so obviously he was going to wake up at five. Nick and Yuliya had left, leaving himself, Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, and mystery girl in the room with Cyclops.
"Yeah, yeah. Five kids and counting, Cyclops? Get thee to a nunnery, full mother jacket." And with that, Roy took a few steps and rolled back onto his heels, rolling down the hall and turning into the closest available room. He turned and swiveled through the doorway a bit, shutting the door in the same spinning motion.
Once he was inside the room, he found himself left to his own thoughts. Some might not have enjoyed that, but Roy was indifferent. He was a pretty good conversationalist, be it with himself or with someone else. The teen whistled nonchalantly as he stepped towards his bed, glancing around the room and taking in his surroundings. "Looks like a pretty...minimalist room..." He rolled over to the edge of his bed and sat down, letting out a relaxed sigh as he leaned onto his back, looking up at the ceiling. "Didn't take Grey for a pretentious, artsy dickbag, but hey, everyone here's full of surprises apparently."
On that note, he thought about the day's happenings so far. He remembered Cyclops with her rifle, Grey with his handcuff kink and beaten up woman, Lemoncuffs herself, Guy's bionic arm and rat, Elmer Fudd's clones and mood whiplash between bloodlust and crying, Dr.Jekyll's mix of innocent and serious behavior, and finally the fire girl.
"What the hell have I gotten myself into?" Was one of the last things he muttered before he kicked his shoes off, pulling out his phone. Going into his alarm list, he set one to wake himself up at five in the morning with "Rock Lobster". Maybe if he was lucky, the rooms wouldn't be soundproof and the others would get to bask in its glory. But for now, he was going to take the time to relax and get some shuteye.

| The events happened quickly, one minute the little Russian girl was attacking some guy and the next Lucky was manning up and handling the situation. She remained where she was as she watched the scene unfold before her. She would have gone to the little girl's aid once she had started crying, but the others were already on it. She still didn't trust them. The little girl had been upset, and Sera was half tempted to smite them on the spot for touching her if not for the fact that they were helping. The little girl went to her room, as did the new guy, before she finally slipped away to her own room. | |

| The hug was returned, so that meant Yuliya appreciated it, right? Finn just ignored the masked woman until Yuliya decided to leave, and only then did he speak once more. Though.... he didn't really know what to say. He wanted to do as he was told and sleep, but he also wanted to help with the groceries. Well, Zen had told him to sleep, not help with the groceries, so that made it a little easier to choose. He didn't want to go against Zen's word, especially since he still needed to get her to like him. He'd gotten.... like.... one member of the group to like him. Two if the lady from earlier who'd called him a puppy counted, but regardless, there was still a lot more work to be done. The last to leave, he got up and waved goodbye to Zen through the dimly lit room before heading off to the room he'd called earlier. He hoped none of them had taken his room, but this worry was quickly put to rest when he opened the door to find no one there. It was an okay room, though he was only focused on the bed at the moment. Sure, he wanted to plunder around and see if there was anything fun in here, and he wasn't even tired, but he was supposed to sleep. As fun as getting to sleep whenever he wanted due to not having a real job was, it seemed like something he wasn't going to be able to do anymore. He sat his bag of candy down on the floor next to the bed, then laid down in a rather lazy fashion, not even bothering to lay the right way or use the covers. Lucky closed his eyes for a moment.... then he remembered that this wasn't all supposed to be his candy. Oh no, he hadn't gotten to give everyone their gifts! It was then that he got an idea; the candy was all in sealed bags, and he hadn't gotten anyone chocolate, so he could just leave it out overnight and it'd be fine. None of it needed to be refrigerated, after all. He waited for a few minutes to be sure Zen was gone before quietly sneaking out of his room with the bag. Then, he began placing candy next to everyone's rooms, having already memorized which ones they'd all taken. In front of Yuliya's door, Gummi Bears; Lemonheads for Mr. Antisocial.... and Lucy; Hot Tamales for the firebrand. Uh.... well, the new guy had come into the picture after he'd bought the candy, so he didn't have anything specifically picked out for that guy, but he'd bought a bunch of extra candy too, just in case there were any issues! Okay, it was also partly because he wanted some candy for himself, but that was an unimportant detail. He spent a moment looking through the bag before picking out Sour Patch Kids, feeling like they would do. He then moved on to searching for wherever Zen slept, which he wasn't quite sure about. However, he was.... beckoned to a room, having a feeling that she was there. He then tried to remember what he'd got for Zen. To his dismay, he realized it was a bag of white chocolate Reese's Cups. Chocolate.... He'd actually bought some chocolate, which meant it would start melting if it were left out all night. So, to fix this, he ran into the kitchen and grabbed a cold compress out of the freezer, set it down next to the door, and placed the bag of chocolate on top of it. There, now it wouldn't melt! Hopefully! Last but not least, he tried to find Shade's room, but wasn't really sure where it was, so he ended up having to just leave the black licorice on the kitchen table with a note next to it. - Spoiler:
He then drew a shark on it.
With his mission complete, Finn crept back to his room, almost hitting the still-open door due to not paying any attention. He then sat the bag of goodies down next to his bed and laid back down in the extremely improper position he'd been earlier, falling asleep.

| It was the morning before training, and all through the flat Not a creature was stirring, except for the rat The candy was placed by the doors with care In hopes that friends for Lucky wouldn't be rare Shade and Wither were nestled all snug in their bed While visions of what they could be doing together danced in Zen's head; And Yuliya with her shotgun, and I in my heelies, Had just settled our heads to escape all our feelies, When out from my phone there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to contribute to the matter...It was 4:59 in the morning. Birds were singing. The wind was blowing. Except it wasn't, because all that stuff was on the ground level, while they were all conveniently underground and unable to hear anything like that. But in some circles, silence was just as good an option. Especially when everybody was getting some good, well deserved sleep. Everything was so peaceful. So very, very serene. And then five o'clock hit. - Spoiler:

The phone at Roy's bedside went off, the alarm activating and blaring the worst and most annoying song Roy could have possibly picked from his music selection. The incredibly loudness and discomfort of the B-52's immediately woke him, causing the teen to lurch forward in his bed as he forgot exactly what he was doing and where he was. After a few seconds and a quick glance around the room, though, he started to remember the events of the previous day. "Oh. Right. Well, time's a-wasting!" He smirked to himself as he brought up his arms and cracked his fingers, doing nothing to turn down the volume on his phone. Throwing the sheets off of himself, he hopped off the side of his bed and bobbed his head to the beat of the music, getting into it. As if he were performing for some kind of invisible crowd, he held out an arm and pointed towards his invisible audience, nodding and mouthing the words as he stepped over to his shoes he had discarded the night before. Leaning down and taking the time to put one on shoe while picking up the other, he turned away and walked back to his bed. With a quick hop, he landed on the foot board of the bed with his sneaker'd foot, keeping his other foot up as he put the other shoe on. Once he had done that, he brought the foot back down, now standing on the foot board with both feet. With a quick stretch, he started to kick his feet again, deciding to warm up for the day via dancing to the horrible monstrosity being blasted from his phone for all to hear, performing a dance similar to the Charleston on the edge of his bed.
