When had been the last time she'd gone camping?

Lumina had done it before, back in her old village. Her mother taught her the basics, simple things like how to make a fire or a very basic shelter. She gave the Vulpix tips, like how she could only use dry sticks as fuel because wet ones wouldn't light up as well. And she even knew a way to make flames without shooting it out of her mouth, in case of any event where she couldn't use her fire.

But the last time she'd actually done this eluded her. It seemed easy enough, in theory, but doing this in practice may or may not have been a different story. She looked back at Noel, deciding to take charge. They'd need to be careful here, Lumina didn't want any flames they made to spread the rest of the Mystery Dungeon. They would have quite the story to tell if they accidentally burned down the forest.

"I think it would be a good idea to make a fire. Hopefully, it would further help in keeping the feral Pokémon away." Something told Lumina that Monochrome Falls didn't exactly seem like the place you'd be attacked, since technically speaking, they weren't in the Mystery Dungeon anymore. But you couldn't be too careful about these kind of things, right? The Vulpix didn't want to be ambushed in her sleep.

Noel smiles and decides she should sleep it would be best so she wouldn't be to tired to walk around the ruins but she didn't want to have another nightmare as she slowly passed out feeling the embrace of sleep as she gave her bag another death hug this time she didn't dream though she might of it would be hard for her to tell

Lumina was strangely curious about this place Noel had apparently found. She hadn't yet seen it for herself, and she recognised that it could've been dangerous, but it also revealed several new doors that the Vulpix was ready to open. But that was something for the morning. For now she was sleeping, and gathering her strength for tomorrow.

Noel was the first to wake up as she messes with her bag making sure to have her journal and items on her as she then kicked out the fire she would of waited for lumina to wake up to do it but she decided she had nothing better to do as she decides to sit cross legged near the falls to meditate some she o lying did this a few times in the early morning the sun was barely up as she sat down and closes her eyes letting her aura sense shine through.

The sun rose gently, peaking over the trees. It normally barely touched the Shadowhue Forest past it's thick canopy, but it managed to find the spot where Lumina had been sleeping fairly well. At first the Vulpix was just shifting around in her rest, but eventually she stirred from her sleep with a large yawn, hazily blinking her eyes open.

Noel was still sitting calmly she was trying to increase how long and how good she could sense she would go for how far she could sense but she decided that she had hit the end with that as she calmly trained her mind

The Vulpix stood back up, looking around. Everything seemed normal enough. Noel was sitting down with her eyes closed, was she meditating? Lumina's ribbon from the guild and her treasure bag were still on the log that she had left them on, beside a glowing blue mushroom. "Morning, Noel." The vixen greeted, picking up her Treasure Bag and slinging it back over her shoulders.

Noel opens her eyes as she stands up smiling "good morning lumina did you sleep well" she asks with the smile on her face she didn't expect for her to wake up or wait was she meditating for that long time was hard to tell while she was doing that

"I slept fine. You did too, I assume?" The orange vixen replied, grabbing her ribbon and, with some difficulty, began to re-tie it over her front leg. It was never easy to tie knots with her mouth, as the Vulpix had learnt the hard way. Sometimes she really did envy the Pokemon who had hands instead of paws, but eventually she managed to get the ribbon back where it was before, wrapped neatly around her lower foreleg.

"Yes I did sleep quite well" Noel says as she looks around but then back to lumina putting the ribbon on her leg she always wondered how hard it would be to do that and was happy she could tie things easy as she stretched and waiting for lumina

"Alright," The Vulpix began, looking back at the Riolu. "I guess it's also still safe to say you still want to explore those ruins?" It probably would've ended up easier for the both of them if Noel hadn't ended up looking behind the waterfall, Lumina presumed. But somehow she knew that she wouldn't be able to talk her friend out of it now.

Noel sighed she had given it some time to think it over during her meditation as she looked at lumina "ya it still interest Me but if you don't want to go I understand" Noel said knowing that you shouldn't make others do something she still wanted to go but if her friend was against it she wouldn't press the matter

"I'll go. Believe me, Noel. I don't like to back out on things." The orange vixen confirmed. "I just need to be sure we're ready. I have a Reviver Seed to spare, but not much else." She did have some Oran Berries and Apples, in case of emergencies, but she was trying to save those up so she could make something. Getting six more Oran Berries would be a pain, and she planned on trying to avoid using them up here.

Noel reached into her own bag and pulled out some assorted berries she had been saving them for something but she decided that exploring would be best "ya I got some seeds also and some other things that could help" she was talking about two orbs she had picked up might come in handy "so I guess we are ready"

"As we'll ever be." The Vulpix agreed, her ears perked. "Show me these ruins, please." She hadn't actually seen these ruins yet, so for all she knew, Noel was just playing some kind of prank on her. She had seemed legitimately excited when she discovered this, though, so Lumina doubted it. Or maybe the Riolu was just a good actor and the Fox Pokemon had been drowsy.

Noel nods as she walks slightly over to the edge of the falls as she starts to explain how she found them "places give off a type of aura around certain places I felt a calming aura from the falls but behind the falls I sensed something strange" she says as she leads lumina to a walkway that was big enough for a rather large Pokemon and it lead behind the falls "follow me" she says as she walks along the path.
