Dark Days

Well... her last run through the forest hadn't exactly been the smoothest, but she was stronger now. She was more experienced. She actually brought some items. Her Treasure Bag slung over her shoulder, weighed down slightly from the various berries and tools within, was proof enough of that.

"Alright... attempt two." Lumina murmured, her six tails spreading out behind her as she padded into the forest. The small amount of light that was filtered through the canopy turned golden as it hit the ground and her fur, dappling the Vulpix with small, dark golden spots. She seemed oblivious to this, however, or she simply didn't care.

Of course, the solo member of her Exploration Team wouldn't end up doing this alone, despite her intention to. What fun would that be, right? But unknowingly to Lumina, her partner would arrive momentarily. For now, she was tugging on the ribbon that she had tied gently around her lower foreleg, making sure that it was tight enough so that it wouldn't fall off in the event that she got into a battle or was otherwise taken by surprise.

"Got it." She chuckled, agreeing to follow. Her ears perked, and she heard something in the distance. "... hey, Noel, do you hear that?" She wondered, tilting her head. "I think I hear rushing water..." She could be wrong, of course, it sounded a bit far away. But maybe that was their destination, if she was lucky enough. And she's surely burnt out her own bad luck after running into two monster houses, right?

Noel looks around hearing the same thing lumina had as she then jumps up into a tree using each branch to gain ground she got to the top and then looked they were quite near to the falls she could see it from here as she jumps down back to luminas side "we are close" she says as she starts moving "let's go"

The orange vixen nodded, quietly following the sound of rushing water. It steadily grew louder as she and her partner drew closer, and Lumina would admit, she was interested in seeing the falls. Then she noticed something glowing in the dark, it was a small mushroom, softly shining an unearthly blue. It was both ominous and fascinating at the same time, and it only helped to build the Vulpix's curiosity.

Noel looked at the falls as she looks around the area it seemed beautiful in the area she loved the look of this place it seemed like a great place "wow it's nice huh" Noel says as she looks at lumina with her smile

"It definitely is." The Vulpix agreed, nodding. She took in the sight for a few moments, and she could understand why this place had been called Monochrome Falls. Padding into the clearing, she closed her eyes and listened to the beat of the waterfall as it pounded against the rocks, finding the sound to be oddly soothing. "... something tells me we'll be safe from the feral Pokemon here."

(Sure thing. Would you like to make it or should I?)

"Ya there is a calming sort of aura here" she says as she crossed her.arms thinking about how that could be when this area was in a mystery dungeon so how could that be she decided that.it was not important salad shrugged "well let's go" she says as she starts to walk to the falls

Without any objections, Lumina continued to trail after Noel, still not lowering her guard in the rare case that something burst out at them at the last second. Of course, this didn't happen, nor did the Vulpix want it to. She'd done enough battling for the night, and she was fine with waiting until the morning to make their way back out of here.
