Dark Days

Well... her last run through the forest hadn't exactly been the smoothest, but she was stronger now. She was more experienced. She actually brought some items. Her Treasure Bag slung over her shoulder, weighed down slightly from the various berries and tools within, was proof enough of that.

"Alright... attempt two." Lumina murmured, her six tails spreading out behind her as she padded into the forest. The small amount of light that was filtered through the canopy turned golden as it hit the ground and her fur, dappling the Vulpix with small, dark golden spots. She seemed oblivious to this, however, or she simply didn't care.

Of course, the solo member of her Exploration Team wouldn't end up doing this alone, despite her intention to. What fun would that be, right? But unknowingly to Lumina, her partner would arrive momentarily. For now, she was tugging on the ribbon that she had tied gently around her lower foreleg, making sure that it was tight enough so that it wouldn't fall off in the event that she got into a battle or was otherwise taken by surprise.

Noel looks at lumina "well can't go through a forest without cracking some skulls" she said with a laugh as she got into a ready stance but her foot must of pressed something as she felt back to full power happy she was ready for the Pokemon to try to strike

The Vulpix prepared herself, summoning a glowing orange aura that rushed around her body, her brown eyes narrowing slightly. She backed away, trying to go far enough away that she could gain some momentum before crashing into her foe. Even though Flare Blitz left her winded or dazed, it seemed like a good idea to use the move in this situation.

"Keep it still for a second." She advised her partner, trying to get a clear path between her and the Heracross. Meanwhile, it seemed to have woken up from it's slumber and now seemed quite angry at being robbed. It let out a fierce battlecry and charged at Noel, it's horn glowing with a dangerous white energy.

Energy: 9 (Hmm, do you want us to make a mass roll and say they found a monster house?)

Noel turned to see the move she was using that would do as the Pokemon charged at Noel "why is it always me" she says as she meets him halfway and grabs his arm spinning in her heel grabs the other one and pulls both backwards giving lumina a clear shot at the Pokemon

Preparing her strike, Lumina dashed towards the Heracross, a strange fire in her eyes (pun very much intended). With her own flames licking at her heels, she slammed into the Bug type recklessly, with all the power she could muster. If that wouldn't be enough for a one-hit knock out, she wasn't sure what was. But apparently it hadn't been enough, because after a few moments of dazed silence, the Heracross pulled itself back up weakly.

(Well, this can only end well. xD)

Noel smirked and jumped up and slammed her foot on the bug knocking it out it was weak from before all it needed was a good kick to the head as Noel took out a seed and ate it this was a reviver seed for some reason her instincts told her to eat one as she turned and notice a army of Pokemon in front of her "wow" she said as she jumped next to lumina

Lumina's gaze wandered over the 'room' they were in, or rather, a very large clearing. She saw a box, a gummi, some seeds and a strange rock with a leaf pattern on it. A smirk spread across her face, just looking at this incredible find. She was momentarily breath-taken by their own good luck. Imagine what they could do with all these things! Sadly, she would quickly discover that their luck wasn't good at all.

From seemingly nowhere, she was suddenly surrounded. Perhaps these Pokemon had been hiding in the shadows. Or maybe they had been teleported in here. The Vulpix hadn't even finished counting them before blows were hitting her, a black haze starting to fill her vision. Her instincts kicked in and she darted to the edge of the clearing, and after swiftly rummaging through her Treasure Bag, she scarfed down the Reviver Seed she had found just moments earlier. If she hadn't discovered that, well... things would've gone downhill fast, to put it lightly.

Now she could see her enemies clearly. 3 Slakoth, a Shroomish, a Venomoth hovering in the air, a Paras, a Stantler, an Ariados, a pair of Flabebe and another Heracross. She cursed under her breath, scanning the newly assembled crowd for Noel. "I don't think I need to remind you, but I'm pretty sure this is a monster house!" She called, trying to figure out who she wanted to attack first. Or worse, who was going to strike out at her first so that she could respond accordingly.

Energy: 0 + Reviver Seed = 22

Noel standing looking at all the Pokemon that were surrounding them she was ready to fight no problem she noticed lumina had done the same with her seed as Noel got into a low stance looking at all the Pokemon that were surrounding the duo "ya it is" Noel says calmly

She then smirks "guess we have to fight out way out" Noel says as she dashes.to the nearest ground Pokemon that was a stantler as it tried to knock her in the head she slid down and hit him in the stomach as she rolled to her left to meet the ariados s she had barely managed to dodge the strikes and attacked with a hard kick to the head.

She was able to see the venomoth attack but was not able to dodge as it hit her over but recovering fast she grabbed the Pokemon and slammed it into the ground near the ariados she was not able to ko all.but she was able to get the ariados DOWN

Lumina looked over at the crowd of feral Pokemon, none of which looking especially pleased with the two of them. "Fight our way out? Easier said than done, Noel!" She replied as she backed away from the monster house, trying to keep her distance. ... alright, she needed to think this through. First, she could take out the Paras, since it was weak to fire, and she could stop it from giving her and Noel any annoying status effects. The same went with the Shroomish. Ideally, the Venomoth would come next, since it could attack them from the air.

As she analyzed the situation, she fired Ember after Ember to keep the group at a distance, but she was starting to loose ground. So she used another move of hers, Quick Attack, to race into whatever Pokemon she would end up colliding with. Luckily enough for her, it was the Paras. A duo of Embers was all it took to knock the small Grass and Bug type into unconsciousness, with it's eight-times weakness to fire.

But then one of the two Flabebe, floating from a baby blue flower, glanced over in her direction with an innocent yet strangely cruel smile on it's face. The wind began to whip around her, tearing at her fur as the Fairy type used Fairy Wind. While she was trying to recover from this the Heracross saw it's chance and took it, slamming into Lumina using Horn Attack.

Noel right in the middle of the room as she focused she stood there as she lowered her stance as the venomoth charged at her once again Noel then.jumped.up dodging the attack and slammed right into the bug knocking it out as she turned to the stantler charging her she dodged and landed right next to the knocked out ariados

Noel looks to see lumina getting hurt getting slightly mad grabs the passed I it ariados and spins around once as she threw it right at the attacking heracross and slamming it into a tree as she turned to face her opponents.

What was in front of her was a stantler and 3 slakoths she was mad and wanted to knock them out

The Heracross had vanished back into the fray, leaving the Vulpix dazed as she laid on her side and tried to regain her bearings. While she was down, the Shroomish appeared over her. For some reason it seemed to be puffed up, almost as if it was holding it's breath... but Lumina couldn't deduce what it was trying to do in time.

The Grass and Poison type exhaled a soft yellow powder, and everything that touched the Stun Spore was paralysed. This was enough to snap the Vulpix out of it before the Shroomish attacked her again, managing to gobble down a Cheri Berry she had been carrying in her Treasure Bag before she was too badly effected. Hopefully Noel would know to stay out of the yellow powder...

Turning back towards the Shroomish, Lumina sprung at it with all her might, using Flare Blitz once more. The orange aura that surrounded her body once more was proof of this. The second Flabebe tried to come to it's aid, but it was too late. By the time it had reached Lumina, she had slammed into the Shroomish, which wobbled over and fell onto it's side. It couldn't stand the critical blow.

A stray vine which shot from the Flabebe's flower lashed around Lumina's side, but more than anything else, it irritated her. She ran at the small Pokemon who was still clinging to it's flower, feeling the wind rush around her as she used Quick Attack once more. It wasn't enough to defeat the Flabebe, far from it, but it had been enough to get it off her back for the moment.

Noel got into a low stance one arm up with the other down as the Pokemon charged at her she dodged the strikes eyes closed using her aura senses to guide her from each strike and blow though this would make her tired she didn't care.

She was just far enough so the yellow powder vanishes in the air before it came near her as she keeps up the dodging the Pokemon mostly the stantler as it was not lazy like the other three she was fighting

After some time she ducked under the attacking Pokemon and used a.sky uppercut to launch it away as it lands some distance fainted after some time clashing with the 3 Pokemon she was able to.do some serious damage to the three slakoths as she was starting to feel her aura power take it's toll on her body but she pushed through it and managed to take out two of them

Finally, Lumina's gaze landed on Noel, managing to find her partner and only ally in this mess. Deciding that it looked like she could use some support, the Vulpix shot some Embers at the Stantler. They were weak, intended to distract and annoy it until the Riolu could catch her breath, but they seemed to work a little bit too well. The deer-like Pokemon snorted, glaring at the Vulpix.

It charged at Lumina, giving off a horrible wail while it did so. This caught her by surprise, making her flinch, unable to do anything as the Stantler charged into her using Astonish. After being hit, she heaved herself back to her paws, starting to feel the side-effects of being in a battle against so many Pokemon at once. The Stantler tried to lash out at her using it's hooves, but Lumina ducked in time and backed away to avoid being crushed by the larger Pokémon's front hooves.

Noel managed to get through her fatigue as she kicked the last of the slakoths into a tree knocking the last of the ones trying to kill her out as she turned around expecting to see the stantler she had to stop using her aura sense to look but she did not see it.

She did hear.it as she looked as the deer had attacked her.only ally in this mess as Noel ran up to the large deer and jumped up on it's back as she launched a rather powerful punch right at it's head as the stantler stumbles a bit from it.

Noel jumped back and lured the deer away from.lumina while also stopping to deal some blows to the deer.

Lumina did a quick headcount. The Venomoth was still up, as was the second Flabebe, who was floating on a soft orange flower. Then there was the Stantler, and... was that it? She took a quick breath of relief, the crowd was finally starting to thin. She didn't see the Heracross anywhere, so either Noel had defeated it or it had retreated.

She shot some Embers at the Venomoth. The flying moth-like Pokemon was far from graceful, but it managed to clumsily swerve around the small fireballs. But what Embers it did get hit by stung, and it was starting to loose altitude. Once it was close enough to the ground, Lumina slammed into it using Quick Attack and managed to pin it. Another Ember up close finished the job, and the Venomoth had started to slip into unconsciousness.

With a swift battle cry, the Flabebe used Fairy Wind, manipulating the wind around the Vulpix, causing it to tear at her fur. It was enough to get her off the Venomoth - it hadn't been quick enough to stop the Fire type from knocking it out, but it at least did some damage and was starting to wear her down.

Noel looked as the stantler charged at her and she had a plan as she directed the large massive deer to where she wanted it making sure to avoid its attacks she had to keep looking behind herself though the aura sense had to much mental fatigue so she couldn't keep it up now without getting a headache.

As she lead the stantler her way on one leap out of his path she had jumped on it's back and grabbed the antlers it was going to try to knock the girl off but one quick turn of his head and he started to turn as he did he ended up running right into the flabebe and then into a tree causing a branch to fall on the deer as Noel leapt off it's bacm
