| Akuroma shuffled his way through the Shadowhue Forest. He had several rolls of paper sticking out of the bag he always carried with him. He had become bored with studying the brighter Pecha woods, and had decided a couple days ago to make maps of Shadowhue forest while also collecting samples. His only excursions here were with that Pokemon, so he was never able to fully study the woods. He took out a small sheet of paper, "Let's see, Shadowhue, famous for dark types, blah blah blah, ruins in the center, already knew that. Nothing else the library deemed important, guess I've gotta gather samples of anything that even appears slightly different," the Ralts said to himself before stuffing the small paper back into his bag and trudging along. | |

| Crysel was there for different reasons. She wasn't one to think too hard about what to do. She usually just reacted with whatever seems the most appropriate in the situation she finds herself in. However, she had one hell of a problem. On the one hand, she had amnesia. She was still herself... at least she thought she was. But she could not remember anything of her past. On the other hand, she had a very good chance of regaining her memories by visiting a place a Scraggy who seemed to know her told her about. However, he had warned her that she had told him about something in her past that was pretty bad. She may not want to remember. So she decided to clear her head by being out in the wild think on her own. She was currently sitting by some water lightly scraping at a log before her as she stared into space. | |

| The Ralts began studying the path of a stream in the woods when he noticed the red feather-like markings on the Sneasel. He took another look at the list of feral Pokemon known to live in the woods to make sure he wasn't walking right into a trap. When he confirmed that the present dark type wasn't a part of the list he had been given by the library, he walked up to her. "Hello there, what're you doing in Shadowhue like this? It's not really the place to try and go deep into thought," the Ralts said, crossing his arms as he looked the Sneasel over, hoping he could avoid a battle with the dark type. Then again, if he wanted to do that, he probably could've just avoided her. | |

| Well that was a stupid move. Not that the Ralts was in danger now, but Sneasels were well known for two things. Being vicious with prey, taking them down with excessive force and never travelling without a pack. However, Crysel was alone and the rescue team badge on the Joy Ribbon tied at her wrist showed she wasn't all bad. At his words, she looked over and shrugged. "This place is not as dangerous as pokemon think. Sure, there are strong pokemon here. But they aren't rabid violence crazy monsters. You leave them alone and respect their boundaries, they will leave you alone. Besides, I can tke care of myself. I've lived in harsher places." | |

| Akuroma nodded, having noticed the badge and ribbon as he looked over the Sneasel, which put him at much greater ease than before. He tilted his head slightly at the Sneasel's words, "I'll agree that they're not rabid or crazy, but they really don't seem to leave you alone no matter how much you try to leave them alone. If you're so capable, would you mind helping me? I'm studying the woods to find a safer passage to the Monochrome Waterfalls along with gathering samples of the forest? Normally I'd have no trouble avoiding pokemon, because my horn could sense them quite easily, but dark types are immune to my sensing capability, and as such I could walk right into one without noticing," Akuroma asked, tapping his horn as he mentioned it. | |

| She listened to the Ralts explain his reason for being here. Once he was done, she nodded. "Its not that we are immune to psychic powers, we just have the inherent mental ability to be clever enough to fool you. We are just smarter." She stood and brushed herself off as she continued. "But I did see a few nasty looking pokemon on the way here. Since you focus a lot on your psychic powers, you probably aren't very good at paying attention to your surroundings. That is where I do best. Tell you what, how about I go with you to make sure you are okay? I have nothing better to do anyway." | |

| Akuroma was glad his eyes were hidden under his green hair, if they weren't, he'd be shooting the Sneasel a deadly glare for the "smarter" comment. When she basically turned his proposal around, he only become more angered, but ignored it for the most. "Yeah, let's go. We'll be making a few trips from here to Monochrome Falls and back. I'm going to be gathering samples of things while on those trips and each time we reach Monochrome Falls and back I'll make a map," he said, beginning to walk upstream before giving the Sneasel time to reply. | |

| Crysel followed the Ralts not making a comment about how useless he thought making a map was. To be quite honest, she found the natural trails made by pokemon trampling the ground and grass underfoot to be the fastest ways through areas. Even with the doubling back and zigzagging they always had. Its because the wild instincts told them which path had the least resistance according to the lay of the land. Sadly most pokemon in the towns didn't use instinct. So she let the Ralts lead on. She had lots of time to waste anyway and him following a straight path would pretty much eat up a lot of it. | |

| As the two traveled, Akuroma stopped every now and then to look at a certain tree or rock or piece of dirt. Normally he'd just shake his head but sometimes he would take a piece of the tree, rock, or dirt, wrap it in paper and place it in his bag before carrying on. After a few more stops he stumbled upon something that looked particularly interesting. "Hm, looks like an item, might come useful later," he said more to himself than the Sneasel, in fact, he had almost forgotten she was following him. - This dice is not existing.

| Crysel was not really a talker on her own. She was more focused on looking around just in case they were violating another pokemon's territory. Between the two, it looked like she would be doing most of the fighting. Akuroma looked little more than a kid from the looks of him. Couldn't be that strong in a fight, plus kids were easy to scare and that would make him lose focus, an important part of psychic attacks. She really didn't see why he collected all the useless stuff. Who needs branches, rocks, and dirt? He probably was just playing explorer. When he found the item, she nodded. "I believe there is a service in Grassveil to open those." | |

| "I know there is," he said, "but I'm more interested in the samples I've collected. It seems there's a moss spreading through the forest killing off a certain type of tree." He continued down the path he was making, making turns here and there whenever his horn twitched a little, "So, what's got you thinking so much? I might not be able to sense you psychically, but I am a Ralts and I can read your face easily enough," he said before looking at a dead tree with gnarled roots for a second before moving onward. | |

| Crysel didn't really see the big deal about some trees dying. New trees would grow in their place. That was how nature worked. The strongest, the most adaptive survived. The rest died out. Wasn't that obvious? At the mention about her, she shrugged. "Just conflicted about a choice I have. Nothing worth mentioning." Crysel really didn't feel comfortable mentioning her amnesia to a pokemon she had just met. He was basically a stranger to her. Why would she talk about her own personal problems with him? | |

| "If it were nothing worth mentioning I wouldn't have noticed it," he said, getting more samples as he went along, "You could've just said 'I'd rather not talk about it to a stranger,' instead of lying to me." He looked over at her, tilting his head up so she could see his eyes before giving her a small smile, "You should know my species are pretty much the counselors of Pokemon, if we weren't we'd be just another old Psychic and Fairy type." | |

| Crysel shook her head at the Ralts's offer. "I do not want to talk about it. My problems are my own. I do not need consoling or coddling. I can take care of it myself. Its just a decision on a trip anyway." Yet again, Crysel did not know the bowl headed pokemon enough to talk about anything personal like that. To be honest, the only ones she could claim who were close enough for that were the members Team Magna. Even then, Jeremy was the only one old enough to offer a good opinion. Her thoughts were disrupted by a smell on the wind and she put an arm in front of Akuroma. "I smell something..." - This dice is not existing.

| Akuroma blinked when the Sneasel put her arm out in front of him. He then looked around, his horn twitching a bit, "Yeah, I can't sense it , that leaves out any pokemon that's not a dark type, so I'll only be able to use Confuse Ray" he said, his eyes already beginning to glow blue in preparation for the attack, "Be careful, it seems to be one of the stronger pokemon that live here."
(sorry for short post, didn't know if you'd want me to choose the pokemon or not) | |
