Dark Days

Well... her last run through the forest hadn't exactly been the smoothest, but she was stronger now. She was more experienced. She actually brought some items. Her Treasure Bag slung over her shoulder, weighed down slightly from the various berries and tools within, was proof enough of that.

"Alright... attempt two." Lumina murmured, her six tails spreading out behind her as she padded into the forest. The small amount of light that was filtered through the canopy turned golden as it hit the ground and her fur, dappling the Vulpix with small, dark golden spots. She seemed oblivious to this, however, or she simply didn't care.

Of course, the solo member of her Exploration Team wouldn't end up doing this alone, despite her intention to. What fun would that be, right? But unknowingly to Lumina, her partner would arrive momentarily. For now, she was tugging on the ribbon that she had tied gently around her lower foreleg, making sure that it was tight enough so that it wouldn't fall off in the event that she got into a battle or was otherwise taken by surprise.

"Well alright then" Noel said with a smirk sleeping by a waterfall seemed like a great way to pass out she really enjoyed this idea also the thing about picking up the pace as Noel started.to walk faster "well then let's go" Noel says with her normal smirk

"Right behind you." Lumina confirmed. She wasn't sure exactly which way Monochrome Falls was, so she decided to let Noel lead for now. But they had been in here for a fair while, so it wasn't likely to have been too far. In any case, the Vulpix suspected that they were past the worse of this Mystery Dungeon.

(Hmm... want to burn all the extra energy with another monster house before we end the thread?)

Energy: 24. Forget about that at first.

Noel walked through the forest at a fast pace as she crossed another large field same as the one before looking around she felt aura around her as she gets into a fighting stance ready "really is this another house" she says out loud as she waits

"Another one? You are kidding, right?" Lumina added in disbelief. Alright, she had imagined them running into another one of these things, but she hadn't actually expected it to happen. She cursed under her breath, narrowing her brown eyes as she got ready to fight. Noel wasn't too far off about the monster house idea, if all the items lying around were any hint.

Noel looks as the Pokemon start to crowd around the area though there was less then before there was more items as Noel shrugs "are you ready lumina" Noel asks as she treats into a fighting stance waiting for the Pokemon to crowd more so she could see what they were going up against

"As I'll ever be." She murmured back. She still didn't want to underestimate this Monster House, of course, but it almost seemed a little underwhelming after their last one. Still... she was hardly complaining. "I'll handle the Forretress." She decided quickly. Noel might have had some trouble with it otherwise, since they were noteworthy for being resistant against physical moves. Thankfully, Lumina had an Ember attack, and her opponent had a four-times weakness to fire.

Noel nodded as she ran over to the Pokemon and she dodged the attacks they threw at her as she made her way to the heracross and jumped over it grabbing the horn as she landed she threw it at the venomoth knocking it out of the sky she felt good doing that though it probably didn't knock the heracross out maybe the venomoth as she turned to the rest of her opponents

Lumina gathered her might and focused it into forming the small fireball that was her Ember attack, and as she spat it out, the Ember darted towards the Forretress. Thanks to the bug and steel type's lack of agility, all it could do was retreat back into it's shell, trying to guard it's eyes from the impact. This much it succeeded at, but it was a strong blow against it, and it couldn't keep taking them.

The Shroomish seemed to take note of this and tried to distract the Vulpix, using Absorb to try and drain her strength. But she shrugged off the small, green light easily. Absorb was already a weak move, not to mention she was stronger than usual against it thanks to her typing. But it was enough for Lumina to silently decide that she was targeting this Shroomish next.

Noel noticed the horned bug get up but not the other Pokemon "must of been knocked out" she says as Noel reads herself as it charges them jumps up she had sensed something attack the heracross with a fairy wind as Noel turned to see a flabebe attacking it Noel smiled sensing that it was the same one she had helped.

Noel and the Pokemon attacked the bug together it could not take the combination of attacks and fainted as Noel turns to the leaving flower "thanks" she says as it smiles and leaves

Ember after Ember collided with the Forretress' shell, burning the Pokemon. From inside it's shell, it shot some spikes at Lumina, ensuring that she would have to watch where she stepped - but otherwise, it couldn't do much to stop her attack. Eventually, it gave in and slipped into unconsciousness, but the Shroomish would be a bit harder.

The green light was starting to annoy her. Not to mention it had been slowly draining her strength that entire time. "You never learn, do you?" She snapped, referring not to the Shroomish itself, but towards the feral Pokemon in general. She choose to use Flare Blitz, it would be nice to land a good hit on her foe, even if it left the Vulpix winded, too.

The Shroomish stopped it's attack once it noticed what she was trying to do, and attempted to wobble away, but it wasn't quite fast enough. Lumina slammed into it, her own fire licking at her paws and catching onto the Shroomish. It wasn't enough to knock it out, she never had been the best with single-hit knock outs. But another good strike would probably finish it.

Noel looked at the Shroomish and grabbed something at her feet it was a sharp spike as she throws it at the Pokemon in a straight line as it collides with the Pokemon knocking it out since it was on it's last legs within seemed easy as Noel sighed.

"Well then that was strange two monster houses in a row" Noel says as she walks back over to lumina content there was no more opponents to fight but a lot of items

"Let's see... I guess we need to figure out how to split up this, too?" Lumina chuckled. "I'd like to keep the apples, if it's alright with you. We could also both take one Reviver Seed and one of the boxes." She offered. It sure was nice how those items kept popping up in pairs, wasn't it? She looked back over at Noel, making sure she had no objections before the Vulpix took her share.

Noel nods happy the items kept coming in pairs as she took notice of another spike like the one she had thrown "you can have the spike used one already" she says as she notices more candy "and I'll take the candy I guess" she says as she picks up her share of the items and notices a disc and another seed she picked both the items up "you want the seed or the disc" she asks holding both items up

Lumina shook her head. "I don't really want either. I'd rather save the space in my bag." She replied, content with just the apples, Reviver Seed and treasure box. ... speaking of the treasure box, she really needed to get around to have those opened. She had three now and they were really started to weigh her down. She made a quick mental note to do that next time she was at the guild.

Noel shrugs as she places the seed in her bag and the disc she didn't know what the disc would do but it must do something that would be great if it did something awesome as Noel turns to lumina "ok let's keep going" she says with a smile
