| First topic message reminder :"Alright Chie, today we are doing a simple mission, nothing fancy just finding items, but" Sorren said, grabbing his journal out of his bag "I'm going to start recording items and pokemon we encounter in this book. dungeons are sometimes weird in wich they spawn the same items. it's a good idea to have a list of what we know is where." His explination finished sorren packed away his book for later use. Finding a couple of blast seeds would be easy and they could spend some time documenting pecha forest, maybe put up the list for rokie teams and the general public. In any event This was going to be very productive. Simple and clean. Sorren was pleased with how the day was going. The leaves of the woods rustled in the wind and autumn was in the air. time to get to work. [dungeon entry-5 energy] [E:29]

| "WAAAAAAAHH!!" Sorren yelled, falling into a pitfall. with some quick thinking he was able to use ember, and burned most of the wood spikes filling the trap. and it didn't look like he was the first to fall in here either.
Sorren painfully sat up and looked up the sides of the trap. the dirt was packed down hard, almost supernaturally so. he wouldn't be climbing out that way, vines weren't native to the area either so no impromptu rope. Sorren noted that down in his journal while the thought was still fresh.
Get some rope, or cable, would rather not burn it.
"I'M OK!, MOSTLY! I just kinda need a way out." Sorren said, hoping to reassure Chie.

| Chie's eye widened in surprise as she saw her leader fall down what appeared to be quite the painful trap. Immediately concerned with the Combusken's safety, she rushed over to the edge of the pit that had appeared out of nowhere. Who would build such a horrid thing and why? While the Fire type's words were reassuring, there still was no way that falling down something like that hadn't caused any damage. Well, first they would have to get Sorren out of that trap. Floating down into the pit to the Combusken, the Duskull then extended a ghastly hand towards her leader, hoping to be able to drag him out of that trap.
William meanwhile was no less surprised than Chie. With his Levitation ability he had almost forgotten that traps like these even existed. Once again it was proven that one needed to remain mindful of any and all possible dangers at all times. But Sorren was a tough Pokémon, so this trap hopefully hadn't dealt too much damage to him. Quickly the Poison type followed the Duskull down the hole, hoping to assist her in freeing Sorren as he was doubtful, whether the small Ghost type would have the physical strength neccessary to free the Fighting type from his predicament.

| "Uh ok. I don't have any clue how much ghosts can carry. you don't exactly have mucles. If you think you can drag me out go for it." Sorren said, slightly befuddled by imposible physics.
sorren wound each arm, making sure they were loose and strong. He then extended them up, ready to grip? the ghosts. Sorren never expected such a harsh trap in these woods, maybe they were getting more dangerous, he would need more data before coming to a conclusion.
In any event sorren was done being stuck in a hole.
[you have permission to role play sorren out of the hole, since this would probobly be a lengthy exchange otherwise.]

| "Actually we do possess filaments contractable by addtion of calcium ions and...", the Duskull degenerated into a long tirade on ghostly biology, the general mechanisms of the muscular system and comparisons between Ghost types and other Pokémon while she helped get Sorren out of the hole he had fallen into. If they didn't have muscles, how would they be able to fight? How would they be able to hold maps, berries or Explorer Badges? Sorren really could have thought about this some more. It was obvious that Ghost types had to have some kind of system similar to muscles at least.
"Well, we are not immaterial. We do possess muscles, they just have some additional abilities due to our typing. But they should be more than enough to lift one moderately-sized Pokémon out of a hole." Who would have done such a thing and why? The only reasons William could think of were to catch Explorers - but for that they would have to have seen the trapper already - and simple spite. And if the latter was the case, then this issue seemed to be getting worse. The feral Pokémon had grown much more aggressive than they had been before and seemed to be doing everything they could to make life more difficult for those of civilized demeanour. This was not good.

| Realizing that she had once again began rambling, Chie almost immediately covered her mouth with her hands after having removed Sorren from the trap, her skull turning to various shades of crimson as she blushed. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to ramble again. I wasn't too annoying, was I?" The Ghost type's tendency to start to ramble uncontrollably when talking about a subject she was interested in was one of the many areas of social interaction she still had her problems with. And sadly these outbursts of information tended to quickly alienate those not familiar with the topic she was talking about. And with the topics the Duskull tended to concern herself with, it was rather rare that someone else actually was knowledgeable about these things.
"Oh, don't worry about it so much. You actually said some rather interesting things.", the Gengar chuckled. "And if you're still feeling bad about it - here's a quote I personally like quite a bit. "Always just be who you are. Those who matter, won't care. And those who care, don't matter."" Hopefully this would help the little Ghost type feel better about herself. William knew only all too well how it felt to blame oneself for simply being oneself. It was a terrible feeling noone else should ever have to experience again. Well, for now they should focus on the exploration though. Chie's team still needed to find these Blast Seeds. Where could they be? Usually items were quite a bit more common. But then again things tended to suddenly become annoyingly rare on the occassions on which one would be searching for them specifically.

| After a while Sorren had managed to scrounge up a pink gummi, a green gummi, and three more sticks. Nothing to write home about, but the gummis might fetch a fair price. Still no blast seeds however. After a few more minutes of searching sorren caught something out of the corner of his eye.
"I FOUND TWO! half way th-" Sorren was interrupted by being tackled by a bunch of eggs.
Confusion quickly turned to understanding as Sorren dodged a Bullet seed from the Exeggcute. Using ember and kicking the egg-seed things around quickly took care of the enemy.
"Alright, time to look for more."

| "You-uh-you-what just happened?", Chie asked, quite confused as she had had her back turned towards the Combusken and thus had been unable to see what had happened, only having been able to hear what the Fire type had been saying and the noises he had been making. Sorren apparently had found something. But what? Going by the noises she had been able to make out the things he had found most likely were enemies. But shouldn't he have used different phrasing then to warn them more efficiently? Sometimes the outside world was just confusing.
William was about to intervene in the battle when he noticed that Sorren had managed to defeat the enemies already. Now this was surprising. The Fire type really had come a long way from when they had last met. And he had definitely gotten better at combat. Still, his planning was lacking a bit, but as William knew Chie she was already helping him improve that as well. How far would Team Titans come? For now noone was able to accurately tell, but with Sorren and Chie keeping up their hard work like this they would most certainly go far.

| "Oh sorry I just found two blast seeds and was attacked by an Exeggcute" Sorren said "I Should probably be more careful. keep your gaurd up in case more are around"
Sorren did his best to scan the area and listen for rustling leaves or crunching of twigs. Nothing but the distant sounds of pidgey and the calm aura of this forest caught his notice. Satisfied that He did all he could short of actively looking for enemy pokemon, Sorren started moving forward again, looking for more blast seeds.

| "Oh. That was quicker than I thought.", the Duskull commented. Indedd she hadn't even noticed the presence of the opposing Pokémon. How could the Fire type have defeated this enemy so quickly? Sure, an Exeggcute would have had a weakness against the Fire type, but still she hadn't even seen the Pokémon fleeing. This certainly had been an impressive display of skill. But right now wasn't the time to focus on that. They still had some Blast Seeds to look for and they still were in a dangerous forest. There would be enough time to talk about what happened once they would be out of here and in the safety of Grassveil town again.
"I doubt we'll be facing further enemies. We have defeated so many already, that I doubt there could be many more in this area without food or other ressources becoming scarce." Indeed the laws of basic biology seemed to support the Gengar's hypothesis. In most scenarios creatures couldn't all live in one small area as this area would only contain limited quantities of food, that would quickly run out with too many Pokémon inhabiting the place. Then again these Mystery Dungeons had already made Pokémon act contrarily to several other laws of nature, so maybe he was wrong.

| "Don't be so sure. This is a Mystery dungeon we are in. They have a tendency to defy any logic." Sorren said, heading onwards. The grind continued on. rocks were overturned, bushes were rustled through, and rotting logs smashed. Sorren hated this kind of work. Just looking for a thing, it's no fun. But He had to work on getting their team up in the ranks of the guild, so they couldn't be too picky with the jobs they got. besides Sorren was not feeling all that well today. he needed to go easy. - Dediles carried out 1 launched of one Mission Dice :

| The Combusken's words reminded Chie of many questions she had kept asking herself ever since the Mystery Dungeons had become known to her. Of course there was the obvious one of what caused them and how they could be destroyed, but there was more to it. There was some force at work, that had the power to bend the very laws of nature, that could shift the geography of entire places in what appeared to be an instant. Maybe the Msytery Dungeons were a huge network of rapidly shifting mini-dimensions? It was a strange thought, but the Mystery Dungeons were strange to begin with so this might actually be the case.
"Heh, you have a point there.", the Gengar replied. "These places sure are weird. I've lived here for longer than most Pokémon can remember and I still don't understand them. They seem to operate completely on their own and to ignore quite a few substantial laws of nature. How their ecosystems have not yet collapsed is beyond me." Indeed these dungeons definitely were not like the surrounding environment. And simply living there didn't seem to have any detrimental effect on one's psyche as William was a living example for. So what caused the Pokémon to act so aggressively? And why had the Ghost type never noticed the area to shift directly? So many questions. Would they ever be answered?

| "I have my own theory about that actually. I've lived in and out of dungeons for a while so I know a bit about them. I think that they also warp the ecosystem. The only thing I think they can't warp is Sapient pokemon. that's what makes it a maze, it can't warp us so we kinda stabilize it and it ends up like ice, stuck in whatever shape it was churning in before it froze." Sorren explained.
He certainly had some time to think about how these things worked, as far as physical laws are concerned they could be magic for all he knew, but he could try to explain patterns in the behavior of dungeons. It was nice to share his ideas about these places with someone, maybe chie could debate theories with him.
Sorren chuckled to himself. He was such a nerd sometimes.

| "Huh, an interesting theory.", Chie thought out loud. "But then that theory would require for the feral Pokémon to have been feral before the Mystery Dungeons appeared, which in turn would mean that the Pokémon having become feral has another reason entirely." It was an interesting theory for sure, but it only explained a small part of the Mystery Dungeons, thorougly ignoring others. And it was unlikely that such a phenomenon had many different causes happening at the same time out of sheer coincidence, so this theory was an unlikely one.
"Well, these places are complicated. I suggest leaving the worrying to other Pokémon or at least other times and other places. Right now we should focus on getting this mission completed." The theories on what made the Mystery Dungeons the places they were, were entertaining, but while they stood around theorizing, they weren't getting any work done and in fact leaving themselves wide open to an attack. They should get going as soon as possible, so hopefully they would be finished before nightfall. While Chie and the Gengar had excellent darkvision, Sorren had not. But quite a few creatures of the dark had...
