» Likes:
Honest Pokemon - they tell the story as it is and make him able to put together his own story to cooperate with theirs and assist in controlling them.
Open Places - Due to his hatred of enclosed spaces, he favors open ones where he can view everything and read everything like a map
Knowledge - Knowledge is key, without knowledge he cannot form convincing lies or have others look to him for information.
Being Trusted - Its much more simpler to control others when they trust him. If pokemon didn't then why would they believe a word he says?

» Dislikes:
Seeds - He had a bad experience with them in his history, and now he hates the very sight of seeds. He has to be forced to eat any kind of seed.
Enclosed Spaces - He's formed a bit of a claustrophobia due to being trapped in his sheath and doesn't quite like being in his sheath, he uses the reason of always being prepared for an attack to hide his fear.
Liars - Despite being one himself, he favors others being honest towards him as it makes them easier to manipulate.

» Personality: Sephtis is what one would call the manipulator type. He favors tricking others into doing things for his profit, but he doesn't quite abuse it as foolishly for small prizes as some do for their own amusement. He is quite experienced as an outlaw, and is considered one of the more "Wanted" of the bunch unlike the outlaws who steal from everyday travelers. He is quite ambitious in what he desires, but his motives are usually quite unknown to other pokemon. He performs crimes and tricks other pokemon due to his history and desire for revenge. (in other words see history)

Sephtis is a bit bitter towards other pokemon, and knows when to conceal his outlawish ways through lying. He is a powerful liar, but he tends to buckle when he's thrown off track and isn't paying attention to what he is saying. This can easily be done by having him multitask while asking questions, which it is then difficult for him to stick to his own story and causing it to change and be elligible to be caught lying. (For people reading the bio before they RP with him DO NOT abuse this knowledge -_- it's not like your character is going to suddenly get the idea to have him multi-task out of the blue)

He is not specially trained, is trapped in his own sheath and is weak due to recent events, but he can still generate a fair fight thanks to his ability to fade into the shadows, utilizing Shadow Sneak which also allowed him to become a successfull outlaw in the category of theiving.

» History:
The honedge's life began like almost all other pokemon, in a town of friendly pokemon that were working together to thrive. He wasn't popular, but he still had a friend or two. The peaceful town life was interrupted by some strange group that had this wonder formula for helping pokemon stay awake forever. Sephtis's friends were interested in this formula, but Sephtis didn't seem to care for it. That was until the owner of the wonder formula shop told him that another well known local shop for this strange thing called a dream tower was turning his friends into mindless zombies, ever so slowly.

Sephtis feared for his friends, like any pokemon in their right mind would, so he listened to the owner's advice of bringing his friends to the shop, he listened to how the owner could save them. The little sword brought his friends to the shop, eager to help them from the nightmare they were being put under. They believed him, having never been decieved from him before and the interest of the shop earlier having assisted the decision as well.

He was dismayed several days later, when his friends had red eyes and seemed to glare and snap at everything he said and did. They stumbled about and seemed to seclude themselves from the rest of the town. The ghost type fled back to the strange store, and was suprised that the store seemed to be empty and the owner was walking away with a cart full of cash and valuables alike.

He confronted the owner about his friends, but the owner only laughed at how foolish the blade was and revealed to the Honedge that had amused him, his dirty money making trick. The owner explained how the "formula" was actually a "worry seed" he collected from a friend of his which was a Venusaur, and it prevented sleep for as long as it was in the body. The side affects from the lack of sleep were not his problem, but he did explain how lack of sleep usually clouded thinking, and he suggested that the Honedge go look out for his friends with a smug laugh.

Sephtis hurried back to the village, to be there just in time to save one friend from being smashed by a rhydon's step, but he the other became permanently injured through angering a primeape on a bad fur day. The friend that was saved grieved the other one's misfortune, and pinned the blame on Sephtis, driving him out of the town by spreading rumors of him working with the bad pokemon who had scammed the village.

The honedge was dismayed by the stream of events, which only lead to him becoming enraged. He tracked down the Wonder Formula owner, along he way he decided that he would have to stop from being such a moronic gullible idiot that he was. The ghost type began to scam pokemon himself, figuring that the more he did it, the better he would get. The better he came, the better chance he had at making the Wonder Formula owner get a bitter taste of their own medicine. His practices eventually began to hone his skill in the art of trickery, and he found that he quite enjoyed doing it as well. His goal still remained, as he tried for bigger and bigger goals as he strived to reach that goal.

Along the way, the honedge began to collect a bounty. He was chased by police whenever he was discovered, and he had been tossed in jail many times at first, which he was soon able to escape thanks to his Shadow Sneaking abilities. He went on this spree for several years, before he finally caught up with the Wonder Formula Owner, who's scam was still yet to have been caught onto due to the lack of communications between the villages.

The honedge set up his own scam stand within the same area, one that claimed to have special berries that healed any wound in a matter of days, a week at the most. The two "businesses" stuck around for a while, gathering cash and the Honedge biding his time. It was sunset of the next week that the sword became lucky, the Owner had been caught in his scam, and was being attacked and chased. Sephtis helped the Owner escape, and began to gain his trust, the owner seeming to have not remembered the pokemon he had fooled so long ago.

The Owner invited the con-artist along, the two becoming "Friends" and working "together" to con people of their cash. This went on for another year, as the Honedge waited for his oppertunity to deliver revenge once the time was right. This "oppertunity" didn't come until the Owner told the him that they had a business deal coming up, the venusaur he worked with had stopped supplying the Worry Seeds, and they needed to negotiate. He had trusted the honedge into preparing his seat while he went and greeted the guest.

Sephtis, of course, agreed. He prepared the seat just as how the owner wanted it, with a slight unknown flaw: The cup that held the drink had grinded Doom Seeds in it. They would cause immense pain and make the pokemon weak enough for police to catch him with ease. The honedge suppressed what grin a honedge could have on his face as he left the room, waiting in the other room for the sounds of pain to erupt as the Owner drank the Doom Drink that would weaken him.

He was surprised to find that he was being invited into the same room, which only delighted him, as he would be able to see the drink in action. It turned out that the Owner wanted to introduce Sephtis to the Venusaur and they wanted to have some sort of toast to the new deal and continued team work. Sephtis agreed, his eyes set on the moment the owner drank the cup, while drinking his own (somehow but ghost swords gotta drink/eat |D).

To his dismay, his own blade began to shiver with agony. He fell to the floor, dismayed, as he watched the venusaur laugh its heart out and the Owner merely smirking and looking down on him. The owner told him how he had recgonized the blade a mere week ago when he was speaking to venusaur about his town, and had figured out the honedge's plan and swapped the drinks.

Sephtis glared at the owner, still in agony, as he zipped out of the den and into the road, to find a patrol of a strange psychic and ghost typed officers waiting outside. They shouted at him and pointed, saying "There he is! Just like the note said!" and began to chase the haunted blade. The angry patrols chased him as far as Grassviel, there he finally gained the idea of attempting to fool them by pretending he was some normal sword some blacksmith had made. They wouldn't think to look too deeply into the designs of the sheath in this darkness, right? He looked around, having a brief relief from the cops, before sheathing himself and laying himself against a wall.

He was unfortunate though, two odd Psychic and Dark typed moves struck him as he sheathed himself as the police fired a blind shot. The colliding forces caused a strange phenomenon, and trapped Sephtis inside his own sheath. The cops had run past, thinking he had simply continued onward, and not thinking about him hiding in plain sight as he had thought, Leaving Sephtis scared, confused, and alone. The Honedge could no longer move or free himself from his own sheath. He was trapped, and he didn't know of any way to free himself. He could only sit there, and wait for someone to come along and pick him up.

» Other: Yeah he's trapped in his sheath...I plan for him to be freed later on as the effects of the attacks wear off naturally but as of right now he's stuck :P
