By The Pond (Open)

To say that she had gotten lost wasn't quite right. Nor was it right to say that the young Vulpix had come here intentionally. She had been mapping out her surroundings, trying to discover what lied just beyond the boundaries of her new town. That was how Lumina had stumbled upon a pair of Mystery Dungeons in the recent past, and now, she had found a small pond.

Equally curious and wary, the Fox Pokemon took a quick look around the area. This place definitely wasn't a Mystery Dungeon, unlike the pair of forests she had seen, Pecha and Shadowhue. And since those Pokemon relaxing nearby weren't attacking her, they probably weren't feral - it was more likely that they were citizens, like her.

In that case, this area seemed safe enough. Maybe she could even rest for a little while after all the walking she'd done.

Padding up to the edge of the pool, Lumina gently dipped her forepaws in, watching the small ripples they created. She wasn't eager to go swimming, since she was a fire type, but that didn't mean that she couldn't rest for a while.

Noel just nods "ya someone could of really gotten hurt from that" Noel then looks around the pond "huh where did everyone go?*

Lumina was silent, and just shrugged as a sign that she didn't know. Why had everyone gone off, anyways? Noel hadn't been making that much of a ruckus, had she? And Lumina was certain that she had been minding her manners. She glanced around the pond and surrounding area, making sure that the Pokemon weren't just hiding or something, and sure enough, she didn't see anyone.

"Maybe they all had to leave?" Noel said half heartedly knowing that I r was most likely not the reason she got up slightly looking around the surrounding area "it's quiet also"

"Maybe they all had to leave?" The Vulpix frowned as Noel said this. "I highly doubt it." She said bluntly, there was no use sugercoating it. "Everyone's gone, for some reason. Of course it's quiet." She surveyed the pond silently, her brown eyes hovering over every potential hiding spot she could think of. Is everyone under water? She wondered about that, but the idea was quickly shot down. No. They'd drown, sooner or later, and Noel and I would've heard them jumping in. Or being dragged in, maybe.

Noel still looking around trying to find a noise or something in the area she keeps this up until she hears a small crack noise "I don't think we should stay here there is someone here and I don't think that he is friendly" Noel then starts to walk back the way she came and motions lumina to follow.

If there's actually something - or someone - dangerous here, going back would be smart. ... but really, Lumina, since when were you smart? The Vulpix couldn't help but chuckle at her own silent joke. "Care to tell me who this stranger is, then? I have to admit, I'm curious." Besides, she just came to this stupid pond. The Fox Pokemon didn't plan on leaving so soon.

Noel just shrugs "I have no idea but his presence was enough to make everyone here leave so I'd stay clear might be a strong feral Pokemon but even if we are seen I think we can take it down" Noel adds a small smirk to the end of the sentence.

"Hmm. If it's this close to the town, I doubt that it's feral. Maybe an outlaw?" Then again, Lumina wasn't sure what an outlaw would be doing this close to town, either. They usually tended to stick to less populated areas, from what she had gathered. No real matter. "But either way, I suppose since we're here anyways, I'm up for a battle."

Noel then looks up "well good cause here he comes" as she said that dirt was kicked up by the wind and in the middle a large pidgeotto was standing and it had a large bump on the head "oh it's that bird I hit"

Lumina blinked, looking up at the Pidgeotto. Sure enough, it had a bump on his head. "I think karma's coming back for you, Noel." She remarked dryly, readying an Ember. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't hit it with that branch. ... on the other hand, he had been dropping branches on others in the first place, so the Vulpix couldn't bring herself to feel sorry for him.

"Eh karma hates me anyway" Noel then gets into a fighting staring down her opponent as she charges with a glowing and smacks the pidgeotto skyward "weak"

Lumina grimaced. She hated to fight flying Pokemon; the only attack she could hit them with was Ember. She couldn't Flare Blitz something that was in the sky. So the Vulpix backed up a little, shooting a few Embers at the large bird. Each one whizzed by him, much to the Vulpix's annoyance. It seemed to smirk at her before responding by diving at Noel and trying to hit her with a Peck attack.

Noel just jumps up quite high as the bird falls down to where she was obviously surprised about how high she jumped as she falls down landing on top of the bird crashing it to the ground as Noel jumped away she shouted at lumina *hit him now*

The Vulpix gave a swift nod, and started to focus. She closed her brown eyes briefly before they opened once more, this time slightly narrowed. If one would look closely, they would see a faint orange aura around the Fox Pokemon. She was preparing to use her egg move, Flare Blitz.

Lumina tore across the grassy terrain before she leapt at the Pidgeotto, slamming into him with all her might. The enemy Pokemon made a feeble attempt to dodge by flapping his wings, trying to get back into the sky, but he wasn't in the air in time. He went tumbling across their makeshift battleground and fell right into the pond.

Noel standing there runs over to the pond and drags him slightly out "he may if been rude but can let him drown" she looks at him as he is obviously knocked out but still pokes him once just to be safe then turns to lumina "wow what a great move nice hit" she says with a large smile
