| » Name: Tina » Gender: Female » Species: #653 - Fennekin, Fox Pokemon » Affiliation: Looking to apply for the Rescue Team
» Level: 6 » Energy: 20 » Ability: Blaze [Boots fire abilities when in a dire situation.] » Moves: -Scratch (Birth) [Rakes an enemy with hard, pointed, sharpened claws.] -Tail Whip (Birth) [Wags a tail cutely, making enemies less wary and lowering their guard.] -Ember (Level 5) [Spits small flames at enemies, with a small chance of causing burns.] -Magic Coat (Egg Move) [A magic barrier is deployed; any status-inflicting move is be reflected back at the user.]
» Likes: Flaunting- Being a female Fennekin is a rarity, Tina has learned, and so she sees a lifetime opportunity to show herself off as such. This can lead to her being a bit... shameless, at times, but Tina's actions here usually just revolves around emphasizing her femininity (as with groomed fur, nice scents, a ribbon or two if she can get away with it, etc).
Boys- Cute boys, naturally. To Tins, the best kind are the shy and modest ones; not only are they generally more nice, but also more fun to (playfully) tease.
Helping- Being a helpful individual is very satisfying to her. It's part of why she ventured to Grassveil in the first place: to join a rescue team and help more Pokemon!
Berries- Pechas are her favorite. So juicy!
Being Cozy- By cuddling, or just having something fluffy or soft to curl up with. Preserves heat, feels nice, and even brings a bit of nostalgia to her.
» Dislikes: Jerks- Rough-housers, meanies, buttheads... whatever you call them, Tina has a natural distaste for them. She'll quickly take a stand to protect anyone she sees as being pushed around by a blatantly mean Pokemon, for better or worse.
Heights- A fear of them. Like, a really, serious fear. Even being up in a tree can throw her for a loop. You can blame an errant Staraptor for that.
Cold/Winter- One might think that with a nice coat of fur and a fire affinity, a Fennekin like Tina wouldn't worry about the cold. She seems to be rather extra-sensitive to it, though.
Poison- Anything poisonous or venomous; this goes for Poison-types, too. One could say that this should go without saying, but Gernet especially wants to avoid this stuff like the plague.
Blood- She has a fear of blood. Doesn't matter whose it is, Tina will start getting all jittery and nervous. Again, blame the errant Staraptor.
» Personality: Tina is the kind of Pokemon who, even against all odds, will try and keep a happy and optimistic lookout on things. If she's not feeling determined, then she's being sweet and cheerful with a careful helping of playful sass. Tina recognizes her gender as a rarity for her species, and so goes a bit out of her way to pretty herself up as a cute and girly Pokemon, but not so feminine as to be helpless.
After the incident with the Staraptor, Tina found herself looking for the company of others more. It was how she picked up her knack for helping others, as well as her ability to show herself off to tease others (in the most playful of manners, Tina assures). This all adds up to her being able to maintain a balanced social life, and a good mote of confidence in herself and her form.
» History: Born to Jinn the Delphox and Brahne the Lopunny in a rather peaceful neck of the woods, Tina was one of those happy sorts of children. It especially came as a surprise to her parents that she turned out to be female, given the rarity of which female Fennekin were born. Not that it was any complaint at all; they happily raised their daughter as their own little princess. And so Tina grew as one of the most cheerful little foxes around, learning the glamor and confidence of her parents.
And then there was a Staraptor. A lost, frustrated, and hungry Staraptor, to boot. And when he saw that innocent little Fennekin bounding about in obliviousness in a wide clearing in the forest, the bird of prey didn't hesitate. Before Tina even knew it, he was snatched up in the Staraptor's sharp talons and carried away, high above and far away from the land she knew.
She was insanely lucky that the Rescue Team had gotten to her first, though they were not met without intervention. It was a desperate struggle from both sides, but the Staraptor was ultimately more fatigued, and fell to the team's efforts. In between frightened whimpers and lonesome sobs, Tina tamely followed these Pokemon under their assurances that they were here to return her to her parents.
When it was finally done and the Fennekin felt as if she had cried her eyes out, she could only cry more tears of joy at being reunited with her family. For quite some time afterwards, Tina found herself yearning for the company of others more often. In this time she managed to recover from her trauma for the most part, and develop upon her glamor and confidence in social experiences. Especially, Tina realized a desire not just against the misfortunes she suffered, but for no others to have to go through such pain.
Finally, after learning more of the Rescue Teams like the ones who had saved her life, Tina resolved to join one of these teams for herself. With the closest Guild off in Grassveil Town, a couple of days away, Tina politely asked her parents to permission to go there. Still wary, but at the same time understanding that their child had to go out and see the world for herself, Jinn and Brahne saw Tina off on the start of her journey.
» Other: - If she finds herself actually starting to love a boy, she can end up getting rather tsundere in nature. - She doesn't actually see herself being any more privileged for being a female in general; it's just the fact that female Fennekin are quite uncommon. - Despite all of the above, Tina isn't actually much of an instigator. In fact, she can actually be rather lazy at times. - Asking Tina about that incident tends to put her in a negative mood. zit's not something she likes to talk about. A good way to put her in a furious breakdown is to tease her about it; but why would you ever do that, unless you were a flat-out cruel person?

| My only problem is that there is sadly an already existing (although inactive) character already named Garnet, so you will need to change it. Also, you can have an egg move if you wish. | |
