Kari had no idea why he decided to come back here, it wasn't good for him last time, as the scar over his right eye proved that point. Alas, the large, white furred, four legged, Absol. was probably fueled by the want for treasure and riches, which always seemed to lead him into the harshest of situations, as his past so clearly supported. He decided to venture into the mountains again, but what he didn't expect was the task of survival that lied ahead, and the trust he must put into a Pokemon, he doesn't even know. |

| With the mention of the potential to grow weaker, Ares let out a petrified yelp and dropped the seed on the ground as if the thing was the cause of the plague. It clicked against the ground as it found its center of gravity, and then remain motionless. For a moment or two, he appeared to be attempting to dare himself to pick up the tiny object. With ginger wariness, he would pick up the object and toss it squeamishly towards the Lairon hide segment.
When given the deciding vote on whether or not they would rest or press on, the Charmander would allow his mind to process both pros and cons for each argument. Eventually, he would reach his decision, "Let's rest here for a bit. I don't know about you, but sleep is the best way to kill time."
With this stated, he would slump up against a nearby stone and slowly doze off into sleep. Greatest transition into a sleep ever.

| Kari wanted to go on further, but was somewhat relieved that Ares had decided upon sleeping in the waterfall room, he really needed it. Kari lied down close to Ares to warm himself in the heat coming from his fire dipped tail. The two fell asleep for what seemed like a few hours, Kari peacefully slept and enjoyed the visions of his dreams, That was... until they were met with a rude awakening. Kari woke up to the sounds of footsteps mixed in with the sound of the crashing waterfall. Kari stood up and nudged Ares with his horn "Ares, Wake up, man. We may have a fight on our hands." he said hastily as the the Pokemon came charging toward the two. - This dice is not existing.

| When the ground began to shake beneath a behemoth's weight, no one is immune to senses its vibrations. There was an audible, loud thud with each tremendous footstep, and this was what awakened Ares back to the blue-lit room. His tail's fire, which had grown low from the somewhat relaxed state he had found himself induced into, instantly raged on into full life as his head twisted towards the direction that the quakes came from. He didn't need to be told twice that they were in for a fight, and instantly he found himself dodging out of the way of a mass of fur and tusk.
A Mamoswine shrieked, allowing its glorious cry to reverberate through the crystal-laced room. Its headlong charge - of which Ares narrowly avoided - caused it to continue through any obstacle that lay in its path, obliterating rocks, crystals, and Pokemon alike. It shook out its terrible skull after colliding with the thick wall, and turned cumbersomely to face them. Steam rose forth from its nostrils as its hot breath penetrated the air, and once more its mandible opened so that it might howl in rage.
They needed to act fast, because it once more charged towards them with the ferocity of an angered giant. Ares would allow his nostrils to pump forth copious amounts of smoke as a Smokescreen attack in an attempt to create a veil about himself and Tsukiakari, hoping to blind this titanic creature and allow them to play a game of hide and go seek. Attack, disappear: wash, rinse, repeat.

| The Mamoswine was confused by the wall of smoke that Ares had placed and blindly charged into it in hopes of hitting the two explorers. Kari focused his hearing on the Mamoswine as it charged blindly. The Mamoswine came within a good 10 feet when Kari bent his knees and jumped up and out of the Smokescreen toward the feral Pokemon. Kari, before landing on top of the Mamoswine, scratched his claws on the face of the Mamoswine, hoping to do some damage. Kari landed on top of the Mamoswine and ran down its back, jumping off at the end and back onto the cave floor. "Heh...Still got it." he said to himself. |

| While the Absol seemed to be focusing on melee attacks, Ares would focus his attention upon ranging his new opponent. As the Smokescreen went up and blinded the Mamoswine to the location of his quarry that he hoped to bully and pulverize into mere particles of dust, the Charmander was rapidly moving to a high point so that he might be able to get a good angle on the hulking mass of fat and meat. It was not difficult to locate the behemoth as it charged blindly into the thick of the smoke cloud, for its tremendous weight caused the ground to shake and quiver in fear, and soon he was in a good position.
The orange lizard would loose an Ember attack towards the Mamoswine, hoping to hit its protruding bulges of fat in order to get a good target. He just hoped that this hulk did not get protected from the splintering fireballs thanks to its massive overcoat.

| Kari saw the Charmader doing what a Fire type does best, Fighting with fire. The Ember attack Ares used lit a bit of the massive amount of fur on fire throwing the Mamoswine in a frenzy. Kari used this blind rage to his advantage, keeping his Sucker Punch move in mind Kari yelled at the Mamoswine, hoping to draw its attention. "Hey! Over here you fat furball!" he yelled.

| A horrible, bellowing shriek was given as the Mamoswine's fur was singed and ignited. It thrashed about and shook its large skull about in defiance, allowing its massive feet to stomp against the ground and shake the flooring. Once more, it began to charge towards Ares, attempting to gore him upon one of its curling, ivory tusks. The Charmander had but moments to lunge out of the way and flung himself behind a sheltering rock, of which would finally act as a sufficient barrier as the creature collided with it. This rock would crack and threaten to shatter, but maintained its form.
For a moment, it appeared that the titan had smashed the memory of its opponents of its tiny brain; however, it jerked about like a wild rhinoceros upon hearing the insult. Hot, humid breath was puffed out of its nostrils as it charged towards the Absol, its eyes narrowed in anger and hate.

| Kari had everything go right for once. The Mamoswine charged in an enraged fury toward Kari knocking any and all rocks out of its path and sending them flying toward the cave walls. Nothing could stop the giant beast, except one swift punch to the face, and that is what Kari delivered. The Mamoswine came a few feet away from Kari when he jumped to the side causing the Mamoswine to run headfirst into the cave wall shaking the cave. Kari ran as fast as he could toward the Mamoswine and jumped toward it, his right paw glowing with a strange purple energy. As the Mamoswine turned around to face Kari he delivered the punch, it hit the Mamoswine with a loud boom that sent a small shockwave that resonated throughout the cave. |

| A shrill cry was given by the Mamoswine as it teetered about, the sheer force from the punch enough to cause it to take several steps backward. Its head was directed up towards the ceiling, its eyes sealed tight as swelling immediately occurred, and its back curled out: slowly, but surely, the beast would topple onto its back and send a powerful shudder across the cave floor. The behemoth that had once terrorized them had now been defeated, and its sphere-like body littered the ground as it slipped into unconsciousness. Its mouth agape, blood dripped onto the ground. It would be there for awhile. Ares would slowly leave his hiding spot as he analyzed what Tsukiakari had accomplished with a single punch. He was simply in awe. "Remind me," the Charmander would begin, "to never piss you off. That was simply impressive." As he gingerly picked his way towards the Absol through the field of debris that separated them, he would find that the Mamoswine had obliterated a rock that contained items. Attempting to rectify his greed, he would limit himself to choosing one. - This dice is not existing.

| Kari, standing next to the unconscious beast observed the splashes of blood streaked throughout his white fur. "Damn, I hate when this happens." Kari said in disgust. He turned to Ares, who emerged from a rock in awe. "Why thank you, I've had practice." he said in response to Ares' compliment. Kari walked around the cave, calming himself down from the endeavor. |

| In Ares's hands was now another orb similar to the one that he had found prior. It wasn't exactly what he had desired or wanted, but it might prove its use later on. As his Absol companion complained about the mess that had just occurred in his fur, Ares would allow a laugh to escape his mouth. This ultimate fighter was complaining about dirt in his fur? How humorous! A nod was given in order to acknowledge his thanks, and he would observe the Absol pace.
"Should we keep going?"

| Kari gave a glare at Ares when he laughed, He didn't take too kindly to the laughter. "What is so funny to you?" he said critically as he walked closer to Ares "Its not very easy to get blood out of fur.". Kari walked past Ares and looked down the cave corridor "A lot of nothing down that way, but it is our only way, we might as well keep moving" |

| Ares would simply shrug and allow his laugh to peter out like an ill-received breeze, "Well, I find it funny that you care so much about your appearance, is all. You seem like you'd be willing to roll in the mud to achieve victory. I like that sort of behavior - it shows determination."
Tsukiakari would note that the path they would have to follow was clear of anything of particular interest. "Good," Ares would say, giving a curt nod of approval, "it's better if there's nothing because that means enemies aren't going to pop out at us. I hope it stays that way and we can get out of this cave!" With this, he would pick up his Lairon hide segment and begin to walk down the tunnel.

| Kari walked next to Ares as the two headed down the corridor and hopefully to the exit of this damned cave. The two walked for awhile in complete silence until Kari decided to break the mood "So, Where are you staying?" he blurted trying not to be too forward. |

| The silence of the tunnel was accustomed solely to itself. It adapted to expand into a consuming air, and swallowed up any noise that dared to violate its sanctity. When Tsukiakari attempted to communicate with him, it was much louder than one might have intended. Ares would direct his skull towards him as if he had just violated some sacred promise, and attempt to determine what the Absol had meant. Where he was staying? Oh, now he understood!
"I live just south of here," he would explain, attempting to visualize the mountain range that he inhabited, "in the peaks. They have some tough enemies there, and I've set up shop so that I might train. What about you?"
