The eerie forest greeted them with the sound of deafening silence, not even a breeze would dare make a noise in the shade of the forlorn oak. And this did not please the Sneasel at the slightest. And to change that she did what she did best.
"So how're your wounds holding up their Jeremy? I noticed the worst one was that one that sonuva Patrat" She let out a soft giggle as it seemed the forest enhanced how loud her voice echoed. Although her voice was normally loud enough for the normal person yet for her would merely be her 'inside' voice.
Kuro smiled at the Snivy briefly before taking a few steps into the forest, she took her surroundings in and the forest had a different beauty compared to Pecha Forest. It had the same beauty as the moon's glow shining off of a serene lake. Of course Kuro only noticed this for a few seconds before her thoughts drifted off to what this Leavanny would be like, probably not too evil but she guessed her type advantage would help to two once again. |

| Kuro let out a soft chuckle at Crysel's half-hearted tiredness and she smirked "Okay okay, ya can let go" Kuro ran up to the Seedot, striking her wrist forth, hitting the Seedot dead on and sending it to the ground, knocking it out. "Heh... not bad" She flexed her muscle jokingly, then blew on her fist "Actually kinda hurts to hit something that hard" |

| Crysel looked over the Seedot, seeing if the pokemon was feigning unconsciousness to jump them. When she was satisfied, she nodded. "All big attacks have drawbacks. Besides, that Seedot had a hard head." Crysel began walking on, expecting Kuro to come with her. "So, what exactly are you doing here in the forest? Its kinda dangerous here, so I assume you have a reason?" | |

| The Grass Snake Pokemon waited as the joltik wandered off, smile on his face. As soon as Dex was out of sight, the male snivy frowned though, amber eyes narrowing as he brought out his map again, pouring over the contents.
With that bug now distracted and doing the grass type a favor, Jeremy now had time once again to figure out where Kuro would be by now. Very little direct detail was present to even get a basic picture of Shadowhue, but judging by the map's overall geographical detailing, if he followed the ravine and then turned east, he would eventually reach Kuro if she was heading in his direction like she was supposed to.
Jeremy sighed as he folded up his map and tucked it into his satchel. The Grass Snake Pokemon idly wondered how long Dex was going to be… Likely, he would give him 30 minutes at most. If he didn't come back by then, Jeremy would assume that direction was dangerous.
A small twinge of regret flashed through his mind, but Jeremy soon dispelled that.
Do whatever is necessary...
In the mean time, he would wait and decide his next action…
Meanwhile, the rustling noise in the bush that Dex heard soon had a presence instead of a noise. A canine-like creature crawled from the underbrush, teeth bared in anger and annoyance. It had thick, smoky-gray fur with perked, triangular ears and glowing yellow and red eyes.
"What is going on here? Damn brats from Grassveil causin' a ruckus." The poochyena snarled as he stared at his surroundings. "I know you are out there! You don't go around makin' that kind of noise and not get noticed you know! Some of us are tryin' to live peaceful lives, and then you barge into our homes! Well I won't stand fer it! Goin' around pickin' fights and tearing things up!" |

| Dex saw the figure appear from the bushes. His four tiny blue eyes looked it over, but he didn't know what it was. He stayed still, hoping whatever the Pokemon was wouldn't notice him. If it was anything that the little bug learned over the days he had been away from home, it was that he was small. And he used this to his advantage. The excitement he got right here, standing still and facing danger like an explorer, made his fur crackle with static electricity. Dex heard his own static and realized he might have been caught.
Deciding to run, Dex shot a beam of sticky string at the canine Pokemon, though he wasn't sure if it hit or not. He didn't care. Scurrying as fast as his little legs could take him, he rushed back to where he had left to help Jeremy. Luckily for him, the Snivy was still there. "Jeremy! Jeremy! There's a... a... a Pikachu! And it's angry! It said a bad word, too!" he squeaked frantically, his fur still crackling with static electricity.

| "As I said before" Kuro blew air onto her claw some more as if it were on fire "We're on an outlaw mission, gotta find a peaceful way to get this guy into forgiving the one who's gave us the mission. Oh and we can't pick any fights with the locals" She let out a soft sigh with a wry smile on her face "But anyhow, I guess we should head forward" |

| "I think its a little late for not picking fights..." They had pretty much beat that delusional Seedot that they would most likely never see ever again, like for example as an outlaw. HINT HINT "But anyway, let's keep going. I'm sure if we get to the path and follow it, we will meet Jeremy eventually. He is smart enough to be able to read a map after all." | |

| Jeremy was calmly waiting in the little clearing where he had set up camp. The joltik had been gone for a little while so far, and the Grass Snake Pokemon had been alert so he could hear the little bug type's approach. So far, the male snivy could only hear the wind's gentle whispers. This whole place was creepy. The gaps in the tightly packed in trees made for a dark, claustrophobic atmosphere... The only light present was from the sparse patches of glowing fungi...
The quiet was the worst part. You never knew if you were being sneaked on or no-
The frantic squeals of a very panicked little pokemon made Jeremy jump yet again. "What? Who? Where?"
Gritting his teeth, he did manage to decipher what Dex had said before his face looked confused. "Pikachu? You mean the electric rode-"
The snarl of a canid creature lunging for the Grass Snake Pokemon's throat caused the snivy to react on base instinct. He felt a strange sensation course through his body as green vines whipped out from his leafy collar. Everything happened in a blur. There was a cracking sound, and then silence... But Jeremy never knew what happened until his amber eyes opened again.
Suspended in the air around him were two very strong, very wiry vines. They waved gently in the air, but the male snivy could tell they would be very easy to control...
I know vine whip now?
Jeremy turned to face the area in front of him. Laying on the ground was a poochyena, its gray fur covered in sticky white strands of some kind of silk. It looked slightly battered from Jeremy's earlier counterattack, but as it opened its red eyes, hatred glinting in their depths, it was easy to see that it had some fight left in it.
Face serious as he faced the dangerous predator, Jeremy simply stated, "Dex, that is not a pikachu." |

| Dex watched in awe as the "Pikachu" lunged at Jeremy and how the Snivy sprouted two vines from his back to retaliate. And apparently that Pikachu wasn't a Pikachu? Dex was getting corrected left and right by that Snivy...
"S-sorry, Jeremy," Dex apologized. It then occurred to him that now would be a good time to add what this Pokemon had said before. The Joltik had only said it had sworn. Some of his elder cave-mates (who weren't mute) had told his siblings not to swear, and his young mind had taken it to heart.
"This Non-Pikachu said something about us barging into his home! I think you may want to know that," Dex summarized. He wasn't as frantic anymore after seeing the Snivy in battle.

| "Yeah! Anyway us Female Sneasels gotta stick together! Unless I get the chance to evolve, then I'll be a might and fabulous Weavile! Well of course then it wouldn't be us Sneasels sticking together.. Maybe us female Ice types?" Kuro babbled on as she kept her pace "Well.. maybe we'd say Dark Types? I mean we look more Dark type than Ice type if you ask me, you don't see A really light blue in our fur" |

| Crysel actually thought on it. "We... that is to say Team Magna, I see us as more of a pack. We all work together for the benefit of all of us. Its important to make sure you never do anything to hurt your pack..." A sudden pang of sadness hit Crysel. Just what was this feeling? Did it have to do with her missing memories? Once again, the hard choice of getting her memories back or leaving well enough alone went through her mind. Was it really worth it? | |

| "Duly noted Dex! Perhaps we can address that after my throat is not getting ripped out." Despite his inward fear, Jeremy's suave voice was composed as ever, if not slightly snarky. It was his coping mechanism. His way of dealing with such problems. Act like you were in control. Heck, you WERE in control...
At least he had vines now.
The poochyena snarled as he stood on his four legs again, red eyes scanning out for the snivy. He didn't look hurt much, which worried Jeremy considerably. Obviously he was of a higher level. Great. Gritting his sharp teeth, Jeremy carefully eyed the poochyena who was currently circling the snivy, predatory intent in his gaze... And with a snarl he lunged.
Meanwhile... The sounds of battle could be heard in the distance of the forest from where Kuro and Crysel were. Faint sounds of snarls and howls in addition to faint, reptilian hisses and sharp *Cracks*. Clearly, Jeremy had found company... Or someone did... And it didn't sound like things were going well. |

| Dex didn't detect Jeremy's sarcasm. He nodded. "Okay then! I'll give you some help if th-" Dex was interrupted by the Poochyena's attack. Dex was trying to say he was going to help, and even if he didn't finish he'd still lend a helping hand. Thinking fast and not considering the danger of a tougher foe, Dex jumped onto the gray Pokemon's back. He let out a jolt of electricity, his fuzz sticking out and crackling as he used Thunder Wave. | |

| Kuro stopped in her tracks and looked around "Those noises.. could they be..?" The Sneasel turned to Crysel with a smirk "I think I have an idea where Jeremy is!" She ran in the direction of the noises of battle in haste, happy that she may have found where he is, but worried in case he was in any trouble, which she hoped he wasn't. |

| Crysel was about to suggest being more careful in their approach, but of course Kuro rushed out before she could say anything. With a sigh, the sneasel quickly lept and quickly used her claws to climb into the branches. She followed the direction of the noises. She would be ready to deliver a sneak attack if there was danger to take care of. She was being more careful. | |

| The poochyena was vicious and managed to deliver a painful bit to the Grass Snake Pokemon. As it lunged forward, Jeremy attempted to dodge only to feel wickedly sharp teeth cut through his scaly flesh. A hiss of pain left the proud snivy as he leaped back, whipping his vines to again catch the poochyena with a powerful strike. With a growl, it dodged him with surprising speed and agility, red eyes boring into his amber ones.
It was obvious this wasn't some average feral. This dark furred canid was quite powerful and skilled. Already it was circling Jeremy, teeth bared as the male snivy did his best to focus on him and ignore the sharp pain at his side. He kept his vines partially extended, ready to whip them out at a moment's notice if neccessary.
However, a small, yellow puff ball, unnoticed to the poochyena attached itself to the dark type's back... And let out a paralyzing jolt of electricity.
The poochyena howled as its fur suddenly spiked out, red eyes wide and form tensing from the electric shocks. With a weary grin, Jeremy declared "Very Nice Dex! Now we can fight back!" Jeremy whipped out his vines again, cracking it across the side of the poochyena's face as it gave a yip of pain. |
