Serious Shinigami Shenanigans

A young girl with pale brown hair tied in a ponytail, wandered down the hallway of the Shin'ō Academy (or as the locals called it: the Shinigami Academy) in her white and red uniform. Her destination was the board upon which the school posted important messages and information. She was incredibly nervous. After taking the entrance exam for the academy, she was about to find out whether or not she had gained a place at the school.

With the board finally in sight, Kiyomi stopped walking all of a sudden. She couldn't quite see anything that was written, but her nerves seemed to have gotten the better of her. What if she didn't get a high enough score? What if she would have to wait to retry the entrance exam? She was never this nervous about anything and it felt unnatural to her. But her mind focused on one thing; if she didn't get into the academy, what if she hurt her friend again?

As these thoughts crept into her already nervous mind, a group of other students wandered past her, evidently headed for the board. Kiyomi stood for a moment and watched, waiting to see what their results were. Judging from the large smiles that were passed around the group shortly after, they had succeeded. With a small sigh, Kiyomi closed her eyes, still standing in the middle of the hall.
"Alright, pull yourself together Kiyomi," she thought to herself, trying to pluck up the courage to move forward, "You'll never find out how you did if you just stand here."

Opening her teal blue eyes and nervously twisting a hand through her wavy, pale-brown ponytail, she took a few steps forward until she was stood in front of the large board. Glancing at it, she scanned all of the pinned up papers, looking for the correct one. Finding the list of students who had taken the exam, she scanned down it for her name:

Shiratori Kiyomi.... Pass

All of her former nervousness evaporated instantly and a wide grin spread over her face as she read the result. The sheet neglected to mention scores, possibly out of respect for those students who had failed, however Kiyomi didn't really care. She had passed!
There was a small note pinned to the entrance exam results telling everyone who had passed to find their name on one of the class lists and prepare for their first lessons. Nodding to herself, Kiyomi began to scan each of the lists, looking for the class she had been put into.

"Then we better make sure we don't get caught or else we'll be out of the academy period," Rake huffed, "alright, now which district do we have to go to again?" Rake asked, wanting to verify that they both knew where they were to go since it would be quite stupid of them to come here without that knowledge at least. The shinigami wanted to bolt when he saw some people approaching, but they walked on by, chattering away, not even noticing them. Their disguises had either worked or those shinigami were terrible at keeping out intruders...

"The 12th Division is also home to the Shinigami Research and Development Institute," replied Kiyomi confidently, "I assume that any archived information would be kept there."
Her teal eyes watched the group of shinigami as they walked on by. It was peaceful here, likely due to the fact that there hadn't been any major incidents in Soul Society for a few years now. Shinigami were used to their day to day activities, and didn't have to worry about war.
"We should get going. Judging by the direction we came from when we arrived from the 1st Division, the 12th should be in that direction," she pointed out the direction she was speaking of, and began walking in it, "If need be I assume we can ask directions from any passing shinigami."

The two had found the district with relative ease, convincing some of the lower ranked shinigami that they were new and weren't used to the grounds yet. The office's door was before them, and inside lay the papers that held the key for cutting off a great portion of all the sixth years that had been to the field trip with them that day. Rake was first to reach out, he touched the handle and pulled on it. It opened, "Strange...you'd think it'd be locked..." Rake mumbled.

Kiyomi shrugged, "There are probably people working in here. Why lock it if you're there?"
The young shinigami wandered in through the now open door, calling out into the darkness of the building with one hand cupped around her mouth as if to try and amplify her voice.
"Hellooo," she called out, trying to gain the attention of someone within the building.

"UGH Who is it NOW?" A voice came from the inside. A light flipped on to reveal a frustrated female shinigami that was behind a desk with a stack full of papers, "I though I specifically mentioned I was NOT to be disturbed! Well then again...I don't think I said that...GREAT now they're probably going to send thousand of the likes of you, now what do you want?" The female's hair seemed grey despite her youthful appearance and her hair was tired back into a bun with frizz flying all over it making her seem even more stressed out than she appeared.

Kiyomi chuckled nervously as if to try and make the situation seem less awkward, "Sorry, ma'am. We were sent here to collect some papers. We'll be out of your way in no time if you could get us the information pertaining to this..."
The young disguised shinigami pulled a small note from the sleeve of the shihakusho she was wearing and held it out to the annoyed member of the 12th Division. It had a date and 'Senkaimon travel records' written upon it. She snatched it from Kiyomi's hand and looked at it.
"Seriously? You disturb me for impertinent information such as THIS?"
Kiyomi's face took on a worried look, but before she could say anything more the shinigami had stormed off with the note in hand, muttering something similar to 'it could have at least been something more important,' to herself as she dug through numerous drawers and stacks of paper, tossing a few of them onto the floor in her anger.
Kiyomi looked up to Rake and shrugged as she watched the stressed shinigami's attempts to find their information.

"Ahah!" she said when she stretched over a pile of papers and picked up a folder. She shoved it into Rakeshisu's hands and ushered the group out of the room, turning the light back off, "Here, now leave."
The door was slammed behind them and the sound of moving furniture was heard from the inside. Rake could only assume that she blocked the door with furniture...

Kiyomi blinked as they were shoved outside by the irritated woman. She raised an eyebrow as she heard the sounds of large furniture being dragged across the room.
"Good lord.. I pity the next person to try and get anything from her," she blinked, before her expression turned into a grin, "But on the plus side, we have our information. Don't worry about looking through it now, we'd better hurry back and get changed. We've gotta find our group before anyone realises we're missing."
With that, she began quickly jogging back in the direction they had come from, keeping her eyes and ears open for any nearby shinigami. When spotting someone, she'd slow down so that it didn't look suspicious.

Once the group arrived at the fitting rooms, Rake was horrified to see that a lower ranked Shinigami was already in it...He cursed as he peeped around the corner of the door and saw it, he touched Kiyomi's elbow and mouthed, "There's someone in mine," it was only a few heart beats after he told Kiyomi, that another female shinigami entered the changing room as well...if Kiyomi had gone in she probably would have been caught changing or stuck in a stall...that is if they had stalls in the womans changing room...Rake was unsure of whether they did or not, having never been in a woman's changing room in feudal japan...

"Oh.. shit," cursed Kiyomi quietly, "I think they were only empty before because people were interested in seeing the demonstration that Captain Hitsugaya was doing. The class must have moved on already..."
That was two problems they now had to deal with; getting their uniform back and switching clothes, and finding the rest of their group. Kiyomi stood for a moment, wondering what an earth to do.

"Alright. I apologise in advance for this," she said before promptly giving Rakeshisu a large shove and pushing him, with quite some force, straight into the women's changing room. There were a few screams of surprise from inside, and Kiyomi quickly used the distraction to retrieve her uniform from underneath the rug; the female shinigami more occupied on attempting to hide their skin from the intruding male.

Quickly exiting the room through a tiny window that a fully grown shinigami would have no way to fit through, she made her way outside, quickly pulling the window closed behind her and hoping that no one had noticed. Ducking behind the building, she kept her senses open for the presence of nearby shingami and quickly changed back into her academy uniform. Once she was done, she folded the shihakusho and pushed it back in through the window before closing it properly. She then used what little knowledge of Shunpo she had to make her way back around the building and to the changing room entrances. If anyone asked, she'd say she got separated from her group and was now lost trying to find them.

Rake was about to question Kiyomi as to why she was apologizing and found himself being pushed into the womans room. He had fallen onto his stomach, not being noticed for a moment, but one a woman did notice the male they all began to scream and cover themselves. Rake, confused in the screaming had not seen Kiyomi leave with her uniform. He, meanwhile, began to be beaten by various things that the woman threw at him from pillows to the table in the middle of the room. He scrambled about, trying to avoid the flying objects until he noticed the open window and climbed out before the men in the next room decided to come check out what was going on. Kiyomi was nowhere to be seen, and Rakeshisu caused a huge uproar as people began to search about for the "Peeping tom"

Now back outside the changing rooms, Kiyomi sighed as Rakeshisu was nowhere to be seen. She peeped back into the women's changing room to find everyone trying to tidy up after the onslaught of pillows and items that had been thrown at the 'peeping tom'. She knew she needed to find him quickly and closed her eyes for a moment to see if she could sense his spiritual presence. She found it behind the building, likely where she had just gotten changed. Sweatdropping, she stood in front of the entrance to the mens changing room and took a deep breath.
It can't be that hard... surely, she frowned to herself. After a small moment of hesitation she stepped into the changing room.

As Kiyomi stood there in the middle of the men's changing room, she could feel her face going bright red. There was a short moment where she was silent before she panicked, waving her arms in front of her as if to protect her innocent eyes as she screeched rather loudly and yelled, "I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO WALK IN HERE I WAS LOST I'M SORRY!"
In the following confusion she took a wild guess and hoped that Rakeshisu had hidden his uniform in the same place she had. Tossing the rug in the air she grabbed her friend's uniform and ran as fast as she could out of the room before anyone could say anything more.

Meanwhile Rakeshisu had found a place to hide while people searched about for him. He had made his way into a bushy tree that sat in the middle of a garden like area with fountains and streams, it seemed to be some kind of meditating space. Rake kept silent, and clapped his hand over his mouth as groups passed by and a few captains passed underneath him, probably not noticing his presence or not caring, thinking it was just someone cutting some branches in the tree or something. The captains seemed to be really distracted by the field trip today..

With Rakeshisu's uniform in hand, the young student shinigami quickly looked around for her friend. If she was spotted now, it would be rather hard to explain why she was carrying a random guy's academy uniform.
"Rake?!" she called out in a hushed voice as she used Shunpo to traverse very short distances in short bursts. She was trying to attract the disguised shinigami's attention whilst keeping others' attention away from herself. Calling his first name currently wasn't working, so upon reaching a peaceful garden like area, in her irritation she instead called out, "Keshi?!"

"I'M NOT KEISHI!" Rake shouted, the tree rustled and the red haired shinigami fell out of the tree, landing on his shoulders and narrowly avoiding death by broken neck. He growled in irritation as he looked at the other female shinigami, recognizing her. He saw his uniform as well and snatched it away from her, "You and me are going to have a serious talk about teamwork later," he swore before climbing back into the tree and changing quickly in there. He left the spare uniform in the tree, hoping nobody would find it until this mess was over, "Right, let's go find our damned group...just find the trail of fangirls and we'll find our group..."
