| Jake went back to Icicle Woods to get stronger. He looked around at the blanket of snow, the ice covered trees, and the frosty caves. He walked around in an uneventful few minutes, and then heard the rustle of icy bushes a couple feet away from him. | |

| A small chuckle and a shake of a snow covered branch later and a large blanket of snow had encased the Tepig who was wandering along the icy forest floor. It wasn't often that Twayblade was mischievous like this, however her usual worry of being near a fire type had to be toned down somehow. Being high up in the icy treetops where a Tepig could not reach and dropping snow on said Tepig seemed to lighten her mood a little. | |

| Jake heard the chuckle, looked up, and saw the snow failing on him. He used Ember on it as fast as he could, melting the snow away. "Hello?" He called out into what seemed like nothing. "Anyone here?" | |

| Twayblade silently crawled along the icy tree branches, moving away from where she had initially dropped snow from. After a short bit of climbing, she ended up on a lower branch, behind the Tepig. She was lay on her stomach, balancing her head in one hand as her blue cloak draped around her and hung off the snowy branch. "I'm here," she chuckled from behind the Tepig, chewing in the tip of a tiny frozen branch. | |

| Jake turned around instantly. "Hello, I'm Jake!" He said to the Grass Type. "Were you the one that dropped snow on me?" | |

| "I might be..." she blinked. Still wary of the fire type, she remained on her branch where the Tepig could not reach her. She watched him curiously ,wondering why he was in the forest in the first place. He didn't look like a trader or a salesman... perhaps he was instead an explorer. After all salespokemon and explorers were usually the only non-locals to come here for any reason. | |

| "What's your name?" The pig asked. "And what are you doing here?" He looked around to see if there were anymore Pokemon around, but couldn't find a single one. | |

| "Twayblade," replied the Treecko, still chewing on her twig. She got to her feet, balancing on the branch above the Tepig with ease. "And I live here, same as pretty much every other Pokemon you'll encounter here," she grinned, trying to sound confident, should the Tepig suddenly turn and attack her. | |

| "I didn't know a Grass Type could live in these conditions." Jake said. "Well, except for a Snover or other Grass-Ice Type. Well, I'm gonna go find some items now and some Pokemon to battle. I guess I'll see you around." The pig then turned to leave, and fell on an item, the way he usually finds items. - This dice is not existing.

| "I was born here, moron. I'm not exactly just gonna up and leave when both my parents live here. Besides, I have this nice cloak to keep me warm," she grinned, her expression turning to a frown as the Tepig merely walked away. It was awfully rude to start a conversation and then just leave. As the Tepig walked away, he tripped over what looked to be a Rawst Berry. Rather ironic considering the fact that Jake was a fire type. Twayblade couldn't help but laugh, even though she tried to stifle it. | |

| Jake picked up the Rawst Berry and put it in the bag. "Why're you laughing?" Jake asked. "I always find items that way." He said while he looked around. The Fire Type then saw a pair of eyes in the bushes. - This dice is not existing.

| "It seems rather inconvenient to me," blinked Twayblade, watching as the Tepig glanced around the area. The Treecko caught sight of the eyes in the bushes however, whoever the eyes belonged to was not moving despite how obvious it's position was. Eyes widening quite suddenly as she realised what was about to happen, Twayblade leaped out of the tree quite swiftly, landing just behind the Tepig as a Sneasel struck out from the opposite direction with a Poison Jab move.
The Treecko's swift movements had protected Jake from the powerful move, though it seemed to have taken it's toll. Being as low a level as she was, she couldn't do anything in response and took heavy damage from the move, collapsing in the snow with a strained breath.
The Sneasel, having not expected it's attack to be interrupted, stepped backwards in fear. Perhaps going against a fire type had not been such a great idea after all. The Shieldon from the bushes bounded out, trying to cause a distraction so it's ice type friend could escape. | |

| Jake was quick, and realized that the Sneasel was trying to escape. He ran up in front of it and said, "Nope, not gonna get away from me!" The pig then used Ember and knocked it out. The Shieldon then used Take Down on Jake, and took a fair amount of damage. | |

| Twayblade struggled to push herself back up onto her feet. She winced at the feel of the poison taking effect. She had heard stories of being affected by poison before, but she had never experienced it herself. Knowing how it felt and knowing that there was no way to cure it here in her icy home made her feel sick. She'd have to endure the pain either until it wore off, or until it killed her, constantly sapping at her energy and causing her pain. Taking small steps, she edged back to the tree that she had leaped out of. Why on earth had she leaped in front of that attack. It was such a foolish decision, and for someone she didn't even know. The Treecko curled up at the base of the tree, not wanting to cause herself more pain by moving further than she had to. She wrapped her cloak around herself, wondering how the Tepig could be so reckless, even now attacking the two Pokemon who had attempted to flee the scene. | |

| Jake used Ember on the Shieldon, knocking it out. "Are you OK?" He asked Twayblade. "Did you get poisoned? I think I have a Pecha Berry in my bag. By the way, thanks for saving me from that Poison Jab." The Tepig was practically beaming at her. "But it was a little risky, since you're a Grass Type." | |
