A Hoenn Journey With Nearly No Hoenn Pokemon

Sam brought his arm over his face as he stood on the deck of the SS Tidal, blocking his eyes from the bright sunlight that shone in the sky. Some of the ocean water sprayed up and hit the passengers standing in the open as the ferry started to head towards its destination, Slateport City. Some various water-type pokemon could be seen in the surrounding water, looking relatively calm and relaxed. So, this is Hoenn? Can't wait to get started out here. And now that I'm here, I just have to figure out one thing: what to get started with. He thought to himself as he waited for the ferry to pull up to a stop.

"No, not really. I guess we'll just have to tag along with you. Can't be too boring, being dragged all about on a shopping excursion." Sam joked, chuckling slightly as he stood up. He yawned and stretched his arms, feeling excited and yet tired.
"Well, what are we waiting for then? Let's get going." He commented, smiling as he did so.

Zoey chuckled, getting to her feet, "Fair enough! I promise I won't be too long anyhow."

Leading the way through the city, Zoey identified a few shops that sold pokemon related items. One of them was a general market, so she headed there first. Here they seemed to sell everything from Pokeballs to Potions, so Zoey grabbed a few of the former just in case she needed them later on.

"Oh, right. Those might be useful actually." Sam commented, chuckling slightly as he also picked up a few pokeballs while they were out. "Might actually need these to catch some pokemon." He added, following along with Zoey as she took them through the city.

Zoey chuckled and after buying her own Pokeballs headed to the next shop, which was positively contest themed. Buying only two ball capsules and a small variety of seals she soon left the shop once more, stretching her arms up as she returned to the fresh air outside.
"So then, Route 110?" she suggested, Dust looking to Sam as she waited for his answer.
