Mini Exploration

First topic message reminder :

Sofie the mareep had been on her own exploration to test if she would be guild material. It wasn't too long before she stumbled upon the dark parts of the wild. If the trees looked this sinister, she couldn't imagine what the pokemon that lurked in there were like.
"Well here goes nothing." she said, taking her first step into the forest.

"What? Ugh, fine." she said, setting off soon after to find and retrieve an item. She searched bushes and branches, and under rocks. She even dug little holes. But there was nothing, she couldn't find a single item. She was stumped, litterally as she tripped over a small tree stump. On top of it, as if it was deliberately placed there by someone, Sofie noticed an object. Finally.

"84, 85, 86, 83, 82, 89-" He stopped screeching numbers when Sofie trotted back to him with an Apple in her mouth. "Not bad~" He grinned. "Well then, carry on~" He skipped forwards once more, apparently now believing completely in Sofie's exploratory prowess.

Sofie was relieved when the terrible sounds of Keyami's counting stopped. He had been hurting her earthingies with every number. She tucked the apple away in her fur since she had no where else to put it and tagged alongside the meowth once more. She hoped they wouldn't get interrupted as they dashed for the exit once more.

"Oh hey look! COME HERE. FLOCK TO YOUR LORD AND MASTER." Keyami yelled, leaping around. Two Pokemon were sitting along the path, placed there as if they could hear Sofie's thoughts and decided to be as- butts. Keyami, the wonderfully stupid Pokemon he was, had decided that beckoning them and jumping around like a lunatic was the best way to react to the two most likely hostile Pokemon in their midst.

And flock they did. A poochyena and a taillow jetted out of the darkness, straight towards Keyami. Of course, everything in Shadowhue seemed to be able to read her thoughts, as this was the total opposite of what she wanted to happen. The poochyena approached with a tackle and the taillow readied a wing attack. While both seemed to not notice her, Sofie circled around them and came from behind with a tackle, aiming for the poochyena.

Keyami whistled gleefully and lunged towards the Tailow with a Bite. He clamped onto its wing and shook his head a bit. He let go and then followed up his bite with a scratch. "Catch me if you caaaan~" He snickered, dancing around the Tailow in a way that was most likely going to get him murdered.

Sofie had succesfully slammed into the poochyena with a tackle. It flew in the air and skidded to a hault in front of the taillow.The two collided with eachother and Sofie sent them off with an iron tail.
"Thanks for the help," she said to Keyami sarcastically.

Keyami beamed at Sofie. "You're welcome! I'm so happy that you're so grateful~" He began whistling and set off down the path once more, occasionally stopping to screech at something, be it a bush, a berry, or a tree. "HEY YOU. YEAH I'M TALKING TO YOU! QUIT LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! FREAK!" He was currently cussing out a shrub.

"Can you not try to tell everything in the forest where we are? We've been battling things from left to right and screamming at things isn't helping," she said in an annoyed tone.

"But I'm telling anything where we are." Keyami tilted his head to the side, genuinely confused. "And I apologize for all the screaming, M'lady, but this jerk was asking for it." He shot the shrub a glare and jerked his thumb/paw towards it when he spoke the word jerk. "Anyway, enough with the chitchat~ Onward and upwards!~"

"Right..."At this point, Sofie didn't even notice that shrubs couln't be jerks, as she was getting used to the meowth's crazy talk. She was surprised he even apologized and followed allong with a blank expression on her face. Why did the exit have to somehow be slowly getting farther away, they should have made it by now.

"Ahahaah that tricky exit! It keeps trying to move~ Silly silly forest! Thinking it can play tricks on our eyes! NOT TODAY." He screeched, latching onto Sofie's fore-paw and dashing towards the exit far too quickly. "YOU WILL BE MINE, EXIT! PREPARE FOR KEYAAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!~" He yowled, arms flailing randomly about.

Sofie kept the same expression as she was dragged along by the psycho stranger. She knew that resisting would'nt do any good, so she just waited and enjoyed the free ride. The only con was that her wool would be pretty dirty after this.

Keyami let out a crow of victory as he finally reached the exit. Light suddenly returned when he stepped out of the confines of the forest and momentarily blinded him. "MY EEEEEYYESSS!" He wailed. "I'M GOING BLIND OHMYARCEUS I'M GONNA DIIIIEEE- Oh look at that." His vision cleared up after a moment and his panic attack ceased. "Welp, nice meeting you then." He said brightly.

Finally, they had reached dalight once more. Even though it was a little darker than when they first entered the forest, Sofie couldn't help but feel like a bloodsucker, as the sudden appearancelight seemed to burn both her eyes and skin. Another miracle happened soon after, as Keyami's shouting and accusations came to a stop. In place of those obnoxious rants were farewells. And that's when she realized that their journey through the forest was over.
"Same here," was all she had to say, as the rest would've ended up being thanks for finally being calm and gentle with his voice.
