An Exploration with a Big Bang!

Kira panted as she drew near the volcano; its temperature was risen to a scorching 110 degrees from the lava that poured constantly into a chasm. It didn't help that the sun was bright and shiny today, causing more heat so beat down on the scorching ground. She wiped some sweat off and huffed, heat wasn't going to stop her! She was going to find that golden mask if it was the last thing she was going to do! She wasn't sure what it did, but she knew that anything that had an important sounding name MUST be treasure! She just wished it wasn't so hot, her feet were burning a bit, but not enough to make her hop up and down. She wondered what types of pokemon she would find here, thinking that she would find rock and fire pokemon. She hopped onto a rock that was given shade by an overhang, the rock was surprisingly cold and felt good on her legs.

Tallulah the Buizel was navigating Furnace Peak for the fun of it. The intense heat of the volcano was drying her up quite a bit as a water type, but Tally didn't really care. She was planning on training in here, as she seemed to like more extreme environments than the simple, easy dungeons around Grassveil. Still, her feet were burning from the hot stone the ground was made of. Tally decided to just sit down on a nearby rock in the shade....

...Which, apparently, someone else had already claimed.

Kira sighed and relaxed on the cool rock. When she noticed the buizel she froze, she realized that the buizel must have wanted the rock, "S-sorry!" she spoke before slowly getting off. She was silent and seemed to look a bit grumpy. She was nervous, she didn't know what pokemon the buizel was. She noted the two tails and the strange floating sack device on it's neck. It's orange color made her think it was a ground type, not very good for her since she didn't have any good moves against a ground type. She backed up a bit to see if the buizel would attack like a native pokemon probably would. If the pokemon sat on the rock she would leave it alone. She wished it would come with her, if it was friendly though. She shoved that thought out of her mind, she was a solitary riolu! Not a socializing one.

"Uggh... Its fine," Tally mumbled at the blue and black Pokemon she recognized as a Riolu. The Buizel sat down and slid to one side of the nice, cool rock. She patted her paw a couple times on the other side of the rock, signalling the Pokemon to sit down (if she still even wanted to).

Tally sighed. I swear I have never gone on a training mission without running into someone else! she thought angrily. Sure, there were thousands upon thousands of Pokemon living in the world with hundreds of different species, but why couldn't she be alone for once? Maybe I'll just ignore this Pokemon this time, Tally thought.

Kira sat on the ground beside the rock, not sure what else to do. She swallowed a bit as she tried to speak, "So...uh...What exactly are you? Are you a ground type or something?" she faced away from the buizel. Kira looked at the rock wall behind them, there seemed to be strange marks on it that cave pokemon from a long time ago must have sketched out. The markings showed what looked like pawinards running from a large mountain with a skull on it. The mountain had a large pokemon chasing them down the mountain. If she had known what pokemon it was she would've identified it as groudon. She didn't know much about pokemon, she laid the back of her head against the rock as she awaited a reply if one came. She could tell the pokemon probably didn't want her around here, Kind of rude if you ask me, i gave up the rock for it...there's no room for both of us to sit on it. she thought grudgingly.

"I'm a Buizel, a water type," Tally said grumpily. She looked at the Riolu. "What are you in here for?" she asked, "I'm just here for some training." Tallulah was trying to make conversation, but at this point she just wanted to cool off and leave. The Buizel glanced at the wall the Riolu was examining. Someone scratched in something that Tally figured was either a scene from ancient history or a warning on what could happen. She hoped it wasn't the latter. Still, she wondered what drew them, and wanted to find more drawings. Tallulah, you're getting distracted! You're here to train! she reminded herself.

"I came to find something." She spoke, "A rare item i've heard of...do you...want me to leave?" She asked. She was unsure of what to make of this situation, here she was with some random water pokemon that was extremely grumpy for some reason. Her thoughts wandered around a bit as she waited for and answer, mostly thinking about happily how there couldn't be any water around this place. She didn't have to worry about that, unless there was somehow a hot springs around here.
((Brain dead..)

"Thats the thing," Tally said, "Do you want to leave? You can stay here and rest, or you can go and look for your item. I'm not gonna stop you." The Buizel got up. "I'm leaving now, anyway," she said as she began climbing higher up the volcano. Still, something was watching her. And possibly Kira, too. Tally looked around, suspiciously. She bracedn herself, ready for whatever was out there...

This dice is not existing.

Kira felt something ripple back to her from her aura senses, she had cast them out to check for enemies. She turned and shouted, "Look out!" as a pokemon leaped from behind a boulder and tried to attack the buizel. She leaped at the figure with a quick attack, she couldn't tell what pokemon through some smoke that had been coming from the ground. She ran at full speed towards the pokemon, hoping to protect the buizel from the surprise attack.

The attacking Pokemon, although obscured from the smoke, was snake-like. If you could see it more clearly, you would probably recognize it as the Pokemon Seviper. The Seviper, who was originally aiming for Tallulah, was taken off guard as Kira went to attack it. It didn't have enough time to change strategy and was hit with the Riolu's Quick Attack. It slithered backwards and prepared a Poison Tail attack, its bladed tail glowing purple as it lashed out at the Riolu.

Tallulah was rather surprised, though not at the Seviper, but the Riolu springing into action to protect her. She was grateful, but figured she could of handled it herself. She launched a Sonicboom at the Seviper, but it positioned itself so the attack missed. Tally cursed under her breath, and hoped Kira could handle herself with the Poison Tail attack, which would most likely hit before she headed into battle with the Riolu.

Tallulah was correct, the poison tail attack hit. She screamed as the blade cut into her skin and nearly poisoned her. the force of the attack caused her to crash into a rock and shatter it. The pebbles fell on top of her and the dust caused her to sneeze. She pushed the rocks off of herself with ease and shook the dust off her fur and rubbed it from her eyes, her angry riolu eyes. Her foot was set ablaze as she rushed in for a blaze kick, she leaped into the air, aiming to bring her flaming foot down right onto the Seviper's skull. How dare this thing attack them and make her crash so hard into a rock.

Tallulah winced as Kira crashed into a rock. The Riolu got up and gave the Seviper a good kick to the face, which gave Tally a chance to run unto battle, which she did without a moment's hesitation. She shot another SonicBoom at the serpentine Pokemon, and it took the hit while recovering from the previous firey blow. It hissed angrily and lunged itself at the Buizel, using Poison Tail. Tally braced herself with her arm, which got cut from the Seviper's poisonous tail. Tally jumped up in the air and spun her tail like a propeller which bosted her jump and helped her land out of the Seviper's clutches.

Kira felt her leg grow hot once more as she neared the seviper, she tried to go for a sneak attack and hit the seviper behind it's head. As her leg was swinging towards it for the attack, she felt the skin of the seviper wrap around her leg. She cried out as the wrap attack squeezed her insides and she felt her breath be crushed from her, "Dang it..." she managed to wheeze. She wriggled and wriggled, unable to break free until she figured to use Blaze Kick. The seviper howled in pain as the flames burned it, forcing it to abandon it's prey and flee from her. She fell to the ground and began to cough and hack due to the squeezing.

The Seviper, using Kira's coughing to it's advantage, slithered forward towards the Riolu. Its long red fangs began to glow purple, and it was about to sink its teeth into Kira with Poison Fang. Noticing this, Tally shot another Sonicboom, aiming at the Seviper's mouth. It hit just before the snake lunged at the Riolu's chest, causing it to strike and get its teeth stuck in the rocky ground. Tally blinked, realizing just how sharp the Seviper's teeth were, cutting into the ground so deeply. Luckily, the snake's head was stuck into the ground, it's tail blade flailing around wildly in hopes to slice something. The Buizel hit it with an Aqua Tail, and then quickly jumped backward as the Seviper's bladed tail almost sliced her.

Kira went for the head, she dashed towards it and gave it a good Blaze Kick in its face that was stuck to the ground. The force set the Seviper free, but not without majorly hurting it. It cried in rage as one of his venomous teeth were destroyed in the attack, "O-Oops!" Kira said, taking a step away from the enraged Seviper.
