Mini Exploration

First topic message reminder :

Sofie the mareep had been on her own exploration to test if she would be guild material. It wasn't too long before she stumbled upon the dark parts of the wild. If the trees looked this sinister, she couldn't imagine what the pokemon that lurked in there were like.
"Well here goes nothing." she said, taking her first step into the forest.

The Sewaddle was muttering under its breath as Keyami jumped off. "I believe he's cursing the lives of many unborn children." He said, not a hint of joking in his voice. "Well then, let's see what the rest of Shadowhue has to offer~"

"Right." she said in a confident tone, soon catching up to Keyami. She really began to think if that was all that would challenge them the exploration wouldn't be tough in any way.

"So, BGPC.~ What are you doing hanging around in a dark dreary place like this?" He seemed genuinely curious, although he almost always seemed curious. "It's not everyday you see a little Mareep go into the big scary woods all alone." He looked her in the eye and blinked a bit to add innocence.

"Well I wanted to challenge myself to make sure that I was tough enough for the guild. But this doesn't seem challenging at all." she said. BGPC was such an odd name. She almost forgot it was what he called her, making her response a little delayed.

"Don't worry!~ It gets worse~" He was trying to be reassuring. He failed. "Anyway, what level are you?" He was trying to make sure they didn't get too deep into the woods, in case the Mareep fainted and he had to drag her back out. However, if she was a higher level they could go in a bit farther.

"Um...I'm only at level five. Is that bad?" she replied, slightly worried by Keyami's terrible skill at reassurance. Hopefully they wouldn't have to go too far deep into the forest. Sofie didn't exactly plan on fainting in the middle of a dungeon.

"Ah, not too bad. I'm here to protect you!~" He puffed out his chest, positively beaming. "Anyway, that just means we should stick to the outskirts of Shadowhue where the wimpy pokemon stay. It's still plenty of fun~" He poked Sofie in the side with a laugh. Suddenly he froze. He poked her again. "...OH MY ARCEUS. THAT IS THE SOFTEST, CUTEST, MOST FLUFFY THING I HAVE EVER LAID MY EYES ON." His words were spoken very quickly and he leaped upon the Mareep.

(AND SO, KEYAMI'S THING FOR ADORABLE FLUFFY THINGS HAS RESURFACED.)

Sofie was knocked over by the sudden weight of Keyami as he pounced on her."Gah! What was that for? Get off of me!" she demanded, squirming around on the forest floor. She knew he meant no harm, but she didn't exactly like being poked repeatedly.

Keyami was too far off in blissful happiness to hear Sofie. He cuddled the fluff and made various unintelligible noises. Some of them sounded a little like "hrmmm;afn pasta....jfngnkgsitrus berry..." and one even sounded a bit like "yer grandmother's a....ajjdjn serviper..."

"My grandmother's a what?" said Sofie, hearing all of his babble. "That's it! You definitely have some serious issues!" she exclaimed, although thats pretty much been established already. Or at least it should have been.
As Sofie looked around the dungeon for any more feral pokemon, she noticed something sticking out of the ground."Hey what's that over there?" she said, pointing to the object.

This dice is not existing.

Keyami squinted, woken from his stupor by Sofie's shouting. "Oran berry." he declared, standing up and dusting himself off. "And it appears that he's trying to guard it." He looked unimpressed as he pointed to the Pokemon emerging to take the Oran berry.

The pokemon that emerged was a swellow."Oh no you don't, that's my Oran berry!" she told the swellow and attacked it with an iron tail. The swellow dropped the Oran berry and gave an angry squawk. Before the berry could hit the ground, Sofie grabbed it a made a run for it."Hurry Keyami!"

Keyami shrugged and did as the Mareep said. "Don't tell me what to doooo!~" He yowled, barreling after the sheep-like pokemon anyway. "Quick look light!" He turned towards where the light was coming from.

The swellow was hot on their heels in no time. She didn't know what the light was, but she hoped it was the exit and ran towards it. Unfortunately when they reached it, it was just a clearing where the trees had allowed the sun to shine through. If they weren't being chased by an angry swellow, she would have stopped to marvel at the light since it was something they hadn't seen in a while.
Quickly, she had to think of a plan to get rid of their persuer. Sofie scanned the area for a solution and noticed a log sticking out of the shadows. The log was too small for a bigger pokemon to fit in and this was their chance. Sofie squeezed into the log, hoping Keyami would do the same.

Keyami frowned at the clearing that got his hopes up. He nearly stopped to rant at the sky, but was reminded of the rampaging Swellow when it squawked in fury. He noticed Sofie squishing herself into the log and he did so as well, although he had less fluff so it was easier to get himself inside.
