Rescuing the Lost Deerling

Tsukishiro followed her sister as she lead the way into the Obsidian Crevasse. This place was rumoured to be bottomless, a fact that put off a lot of explorers, though sometimes Flying types came to investigate.

The younger Absol glanced around, trying to identify the areas where she had seen the Deerling being chased, but she guessed that they would most likely be further along the Crevasse.

Tsukishiro stepped back a few steps as the Gabite jumped out at them.
"Izumi! This is the same Gabite that grabbed the Deerling's scarf!" revealed Tsukishiro. The Gabite just glared at her in return. Shiro leaped at the Gabite, her claws glowing pale white as she used Scratch, wanting to get revenge for the Deerling as it was partially this Gabite's fault that she was in the Rift now in the first place.

"Oh really? Then let's teach this big bully a lesson!" Izumi snarled. She prepared her Feint attack and waited for the dragon's first move.

The Gabite dashed first at Tsukishiro, but he faked the sisters out and turned for Izumi instead. He prepared a scratch of his own to start things off.

Tsukishiro blinked as she was thrown back a few steps but she quickly recovered. She was determined to beat this Gabite to show him that he couldn't just chase innocent Pokemon around like that.
Shiro also prepared a Feint attack, dashing towards the Gabite so that he would have little room to dodge, if at all.

Izumi easily countered the Gabite's attack, meeting his power and stopping him in his tracks. They struggled for a few seconds, then Izumi knocked him away. The Gabite scowled at her, then charged again, her comment obviously getting to him.

Tsukishiro leaped into the Gabite's path, her Feint attack still ready. The Gabite had little he could do other than attempt to use Iron Head in retaliation. The Feint and the Iron Head hit head on before both Pokemon separated and the Gabite used Iron Head again, this time heading for Izumi.

Izumi jumped over her opponent and prepared her Feint attack again, charging right for the Gabite's back. The Gabite halted its movements and turns around, only to be met by a facefill of Feint. He stumbled backwards and tried to regain his bearings.

Before the Gabite had chance to regain his bearings, Tsukishiro was already there with a nimble Scratch move. The Gabite retaliated with a quick Tackle, as it was the only move he could easily do in the time he had. The moves hit head on and Tsukishiro prepared another Feint attack.

Izumi took a deep breath and started to prepared her Megahorn attack, her horn glowing the light greenish-white color and growing a little bigger in size that it had before. Izumi had been getting fairly good at the attack, only she still didn't have it at its full potential. She charged her opponent, who was still preparing to counter Tsukishiro's next move.

The Gabite once again countered Tsukishiro's Feint with it's Iron Head, but it hadn't seen Izumi's Megahorn coming. As Izumi closed in, Tsukishiro made sure to keep the Gabite's attention focused on her.
A few moments later Tsukishiro leaped out of the way and the Gabite blinked in confusion, only to be attacked by Izumi a few seconds later. He didn't stand a chance of dodging it, only realising what was happening mere milliseconds before.

The Gabite was knock all the way into the rock face of the Crevasse, leaving a Gabite impression in the black wall. He fell down and struggled back up, then charged Izumi in a rage. Izumi prepared a Feint in response and waited For her opponent's attack.

The Gabite leaped at Izumi, using Scratch so that he could see where he was going, but Tsukishiro leaped in from the side and tackled the Gabite to the ground with her own Scratch attack. She pinned the Gabite and attacked him with a second Scratch.

The tired Gabite couldn't stop himself from being pinned to the ground, and he was hit by both Scratch attacks. He tried to throw Tsukishiro off, but he was too weak and couldn't muster up the streangth to do it. Izumi dashed over after seeing that the Gabite didn't have the streangth to fight anymore and glared at him. "Why were you chasing that Deerling into the Rift?" she demanded.

"The Crevasse is my home," he hissed, once again struggling to free himself from where Tsukishiro had pinned him, "She was intruding."

Shiro just glared at the Gabite. It may well be his home, but it didn't exclusively belong to him. Anyone had the right to travel through it or explore it.

"But it's also a dungeon, and plenty of Pokemon must come through. Why did one little Deerling stir up so much fuss?" Izumi pressed on further. She felt like it was a little more than just intruding on someone's home turf if a mob of Pokemon had been chasing the poor thing around.

The Gabite just growled, but other than that remained silent. In a few second he stopped struggling and went limp. Tsukishiro blinked in surprise and the Gabite used this split second to get the better of the younger Absol, throwing her off of his back and then leaping at her with his claws glowing white.
