Homestuck RP 2

First topic message reminder :

As you can tell by the title, this is the actual RP. The sign up topic can be found here. Information about the RP can be found there. Concerning the posting order, that will be decided by First Come - First Serve.

Now, until the posting order is decided, you can post in any order you want. As long as you only post one time until the posting order is settled. I think an example would help: Johnny posts, thus marking his place in the posting order. Now Joeseph posts, setting his place in the posting order under Joeseph. But, Johnny can't post until everyone else has set their places in the posting order. Hopefully that explained things well enough. That's all there is to say, so lets begin!

Dangit. You curse at yourself for not playing as many video games as your brother. Your brother.. hm.. maybe you should ask him for help? The thought comes to mind, but you decide you better not as this is your game, and then he'd be playing for you.

You scan the choices on the top bar. You take a deep breath.. time to choose. You plan to do it the easy way though. Before you do so, you message Will.

You shut your eyes and.. EENIE-MEENIE-MINEY-MOE.

Boom. Just like that, you've picked one. From what you know ( which is little ) this is a Totem Lathe. You deploy it into his room, making sure not to crush anything. You aren't sure of what else to do or how to pick another, so you just message Will frantically. Joe's messages for help have made you nervous and frightened.

You're beginning to freak out because you seriously have no gaming experience whatsoever, and you can't take this. Ava wakes up and barks. You don't hear hear and proceed to do your best in not panicking. You feel like you're being timed or something. YOU DON'T LIKE THIS FEELINGDFGHJKL.

You do a headdesk on your keyboard. What did your keyboard ever do to you? For whatever reason, you don't care and you're getting worried of playing this game after all. But your friends need you.. you hope.

(The five days are up. Ori, you may now post when you have the time. Jayers, you can still do so, as long as you do it before Ori.))

Reena is completely unresponsive--which is okay, you guess. You can handle this kitty by yourself.

As Whiskers barrels towards you, your drumsticks go up. With all the grace of a 15-year-old slacker, you jump forward in a vicious stabbing attack, hoping to score a blow strong enough fend off the beast.

The domesticated mountain lion easily dodges, and lands a swipe across your chest. The would is bleeding but not deep, and you lose some VITALITY GEL. You're pretty sure he's just playing around and not trying to kill you, but nitpicking cougar attacks usually don't get anyone anywhere. Even worse, your drumsticks snap clear in half. Ah snap.

Thankfully, your adrenaline surges. You ready a powerful swipe as you take out that giant book of yours. You don't have BOOKKIND, but hey, you're not gonna let that little fact get you down.

With the boost of power from the strike against you, you take a massive swing at the cat as it pounces again, sending Whiskers and the book barreling towards the cruxtruder. Luckily, the top pops right off! Unluckily, Whiskers falls into the emerging kernelsprite, prototyping it.

Oh jeeeeeez.

You glance over the messages and start thinking a rather guilty thought.
You are lucky not to have a pet.
Well I guess you have some excuse, since Lyra has a bird that can teleport and likes to steal stuff, and Joe who's cat seems to like to hurt him often.
You stroke your imaginary beard patheticly and start typing.

Goodness, it seems as if your host is in a pinch. You should probably go console her.

You meander on over to the machine, the Totem Lathe, between piles of gaming paraphernalia. You should really clean this place up some day. Regardless, you take a look at the Totem Lathe. It seems like something is to be placed between it's two claws, as turning the valves and levers doesn't seem to do much. Maybe you should ask Joe. He seems to know a lot about the game. You go back to the Memo to see what's up with everyone.

Hopefully you can get some information from the others, and make some progress in the game.

You type hurriedly, feeling the need to do such or else something would happen.

Show Pesterlog:

You let Will do whatever while you take deep breathes to calm down. You're getting too hyped up over a video game.. it's not like the game will kill you or something! For the most part, you calm yourself down and decide to consult Ava for comfort. You get up and walk over to your bed, where your adorable puppy is playing with one of your many plushies. Your brother says you should grow up, but who cares what he thinks?

Next to your bed is your trusty BLADE. You and Zack used to train against each other with your own blades and swords - it was fun, until you both had to quit when you cut Zack's arm by accident. Moving on.. you decide now is a good time before your host ( who you still have no idea who is ) connects, and you allocate your blade to your STRIFE SPECIBUS. You consider taking Ava along, but decide that wouldn't be the best idea.

You flop on your bed next to your puppy and wait for your laptop to beep with a new message. Ava climbs on top of you and settles herself in your long hair, and you do your best to make sure you don't fall asleep.

((5 Days up, Ori you may post. Jayers, post whenever possible, as long as you do it before Ori.))

You' are now Joe again. A glowing maroon cougar greets you, emitting some cryptic sounds. With a low growl, the cat wanders clear through the wall, leaving gross slime all over the place. You really, really hope your friends like cougars, because they're going to be seeing a lot of them now.

But Whiskers is out of the way at least, so you might be able to save your own life, and possibly that of your friends. The cruxtruder is giving you a countdown timer of what seems to be an hour or so, and with Reena still AFK, you take to the memo with gusto!

You watch from a tiny crack in the wall as the sun begins to set. Time slowly marches on, well at least it can be pretty while it works. You would look at the memo, but you feel like nothing's happening at the moment. Suddenly you feel the edges of...a book! SCORE! You read the cover and realize it's a manga! DOUBLE SCORE! You suddenly feel great by your random book hiding habit, since you can start reading your manga.

You finish the book and is quite tempted to reread it when you decide to answer your wave of chat.

You reach around for another book and open it. I can tell it's going to be a long boring time.

It seems as the green boy has responded. Let's go see what he has said.

Now that you know what to do, it should be smooth sailing from here. Well, smooth sailing for yourself. Skye most likely has the harder of the jobs, as it seems she is doing most of the work. All you have to do is cut up some Totems with a lazer and solve a puzzle. That sounds really cool, now that you think about it. The lazer part, not the puzzle thing. You we're never very good with puzzles. Didn't you have to feed a kernalwhatever too? You wonder what they eat. You decide to look it up on the internet, as the internet knows all.

You have drifted off to sleep despite your hardest urges to fight and stay awake - it was no use, and your eyes had fluttered shut. They immediately popped back open when your computer bleeped with new messages. You sit up, glaring at your laptop from the distance.

Gosh darn it, laptop. Why must you be this way?!

Pretending that your ( stubborn and undeniably rude ) computer doesn't have anything against you, you hop off your warm bed and slowly trudge to your wheelie chair, doing your best to tune out all the bleeps. Sheesh, when was your computer so demanding? You know you're probably being dramatic, but you're sleepy, and that makes you grumpy. Ava barks as she hears you typing, unhappy with the sudden albeit small new noises.

Your groggy eyes now scan the page, wanting to flutter shut and go back to your pleasant, safe, happy dreams. Lazily, you randomly click one and wave it around for a moment, not caring that it bumped into the wall a few times and almost knocked everything over. You squint and try to make it out, but your vision is fading.
