Black and White 2: A New Journey

It was a sunny, but breezy day in the small city of Aspertia. Jennifer Whispell was up and ready, bright and early in preparation for the day ahead. Today was the day that she would get a Pokemon of her very own and begin her Pokemon journey!
Heading downstairs, dressed, packed and ready to leave, she walked over to her mother and grinned, embracing her in a hug.
"I'll see you soon, mom," grinned Jenna, her mother nodding.
"Bianca may have gotten lost as it's the first time she's been to Aspertia City, so it might be an idea to try and find her," chuckled Jenna's mom, "Professor Juniper said to look for the green hat."
Nodding, Jenny replied, "Will do!" and opened the front door. She paused for a moment before stepping outside. Grinning, she headed over to her friend's house and knocked on the door.
"Hey, Kyo!" she called, "I have some awesome news!"

"Huh?" Kyo said before turning around. And sure enough, it was the same Purrloin from before. The Pokemon giggled and walked up to Kyo, raising her paw she tugged on his pants. "Purrloin?" she asked tilting her head. "What is it Purrloin?" Kyo asked. "Tepig!" Garcia cried out hopping down from Kyo's shoulder. The two started talking and soon started to chase each other. "Heh, guess she wanted to play with garcia."

"Perhaps you should bring it with you," smiled Jenny, watching the Sneaky Pokemon communicate with Garcia, "I mean... she could play with Garcia whenever she likes that way."
Jenny petted the Lutro's head to calm the Oshawott as he called out a greeting the the Purrloin. Celandine continued her attempt to hide herself, not being familiar with this new Purrloin either.

Kyo nodded knowing that Jenna was right. Garcia would be sad to leave her new friend. "Hey Purrloin?" he asked the Pokemon, kneeling to her eye level. The cat like pokemon stopped running and looked at Kyo, tilting her head. "Would you like to come with me and Garcia?" he asked placing his hand out. Garcia stopped running and looked at Kyo and the Purrloin. "Tep tepig?" she asked. Purrloin looked to Garcia and back to Kyo.

With a small smile she placed her paw in Kyo's hand. "Purrloin!" she said with a nod.

Jenny grinned as the Purrloin agreed to come along with Kyo and Garcia.
"Alright! Purrloin, this is Lutro, Celandine and i'm Jennifer!" she grinned, pointing to each of her pokemon in turn before introducing herself. The young trainer then looked to Kyo, "We best get some training in before challenging Cheren!"
With that thought in mind, Jenny searched for another open area to practice in. Though it might have been better to move on first and catch more pokemon for a more diverse team, Jenny would prefer to backtrack as less as possible. And so she began to train with her pokemon.

The cat like Pokemon waved to the others and looked at Kyo. "You know we should do some training as well. Why don't we name you "Nights"?" he asked his new Pokemon. Purrloin nodded her head already liking the name. "Ok girls, lets start training! Floccacy Ranch seems like a good place to train. Jenna what so you think?" Kyo asked his traveling companion.

Jenny shrugged, "Sure. We can always stop off in Floccesy Town first and heal up that way."
After all they didn't need to challenge Cheren right away. Perhaps if they had larger teams of Pokemon it would be an easier battle as well. They'd have two chances to catch extra pokemon as per the rules of being a trainer, as they'd pass through Route 20 and be training in Floccesy Ranch, where wild pokemon were found frequently.

Kyo returned Nights and placed Garcia on his shoulder. "Let's get to the Pokecenter then." Kyo said and started walking towards the Town. Wounder what kinds of pokemon We'll encounter. the boy thought. As he was walking he could swear that he was being watched. "It can't be Nights, she's in her Pokeball." he muttered.

"What can't be Nights?" asked Jenny, jogging past Kyo. She was excited to be getting to Floccesy Town as it meant she could explore the nearby areas and catch more Pokemon. However she slowed down to hear her friend's answer, not wanting to be rude by asking a question and then just running off in her excitement.

Kyo looked around, "Loook ouuuut belooooow!!!!" a voice call from above them. Looking up he saw a man falling towards them. Taking a few steps back,Kyo got out of the way. The man landed face first into the Ground. "That had to hurt." Kyo said. "Tepig." Garcia agreed nodding her head.

Jenny stepped backwards to get out of the way, just as Kyo had done. She blinked however and chuckled at the man who had decidedly face planted the ground. She stopped however as it registered in her mind who the man was.
"Holy crap. You're Alder!" she cried out loud, not meaning to but it still happening anyway.
Lutro and Celandine both looked at Jenny, not understanding who this Alder person was.

The man slowly got up, holding his head he soon caught sight of Jenna. "Why hello there young lady." he said taking her hands in his. "What a lovely girl like you doing here by yourself?" he asked her. "Um, she's not alone. I'm traveling with her." Kyo said trying to comprehend the situation. "Oh, well that's cool." Alder said with a slight disappointed tone. Garcia glared at the former Champion, So what if Jenna and Kyo were Traveling together?

Jenny blinked, not exactly knowing how to react to that. Instead she just moved on, Lutro and Celandine exchanging looks from her shoulders.
"So... what brings you here?" asked Jenny. She knew the former champion had now retired from his position, Iris of Opelucid City taking over from him, however since then no one had heard very much from him. Perhaps he was just enjoying the more peaceful life.

Alder chuckled, "I live close by. Would you like to train at my house?" he asked the two kids. "You know I just remembered, Hugh forgot his Town Map. Have you seen a kid with spiky blue hair?" Kyo asked. Alder sat on the ground and started thinking, "Hmm. Let me think." he said as he closed his eyes. Taking this chance Kyo walked over to Jenna. "He different from what I've heard." he whispered.

Jenny nodded, whispering in response, "You're right... I guess he would be different in person though, most people aren't the same as what you see on tv..."
The young trainer then looked back to Alder, who was still thinking. Not sure if he was going to come up with an answer or not she said out loud, "We'll probably encounter him at some point anyway so if you haven't seen him, don't worry about it."

Kyo then heard a light snore. Looking back to Alder who was fast asleep. "Grr. Let's see if Quilfish head is in Floccasy Town. This guy is hopeless." he muttered. Kyo stormed off muttering under his breath. this side of Kyo made Garcia a little scared. "Stupid, former, weird, champion."
