Johto Regional RP (New attempt)

First topic message reminder :

This is just a basic rp for the johto pokemon region, template for signup is the same as the old region rps I did.

"I caught a pikachu. And I agree. Where are we going to find a place to sleep?"

"I just ran through a few ideas for appeals with Quilla and worked out what moves Chairo knows," blinked Lyris before turning to Jeff, "Actually it's not much further until Cherrygrove. We could probably just grab a room at the local pokemon centre. They're supposed to be free for travelling pokemon trainers."
She smiled, Chairo yawning from next to his trainer, Quilla's cyan eyes just watching everyone as it began to get dark. The Skorupi wasn't too fussed about the dark, in fact she quite liked it.

"So, let's get going then. If they're free, then the Pokemon Center's rooms would probably be the best place to stay. Plus, I should probably get Stryke and Harriet checked there to make sure they're doing fine."

"I agree. Let's go." Jeff replied

It didn't take long to reach Cherrygrove, and the pokemon centre was remarkably easy to spot among the city's tall buildings, though that was likely only due to it's rather bright, red roof. Reaching it, Lyris calmly asked for a checkup for her two Pokemon, and a room for the night. Receiving her key, she informed the nurse of the situation that had happened this morning before sitting in the waiting area to await the nurse's call. Though she could have gone upstairs and dumped her bag in her room, she wanted to wait for her Pokemon. As she was spending the journey with them, she wanted them to experience the same things she did, even if it was only entering a room in the Pokemon Center for the first time.

Anthony got his key, then proceeded to go upstairs to his room. Setting down all the stuff he didn't need, Anthony walked back down the stairs and out the doors, passing Lyris in the lobby. Once he got outside, he let Stryke and Harriet out of their Pokeballs, then waited for them to get settled. "Okay guys, we're going to do a bit of training before we call it a night; sound good?" Harriet let out a cry of agreement while Stryke merely nodded. "Let's get started then!"

Jeff followed suit, to his room. "So... I hope they have a comfy bed for you, Jay." He told the Vulpix. "Pix pix Pix!" It said in agreement. He was tired as it is, and having a bed to sleep in that was comfy would be nice for him and Jay. The faint scent of pizza passed Jeff's nose. "Mmmm..... Pizza...." He said to himself.

A short while later, Lyris' Pokemon were returned to her. With a smile, she released them from their Pokeballs and went upstairs to leave her belongings in her room. Soon after she was jogging back downstairs, Quilla on her shoulder and Chairo following close behind. They traced Anthony's metaphorical footsteps outside into the training grounds, where Lyris proceeded to work on forming some combinations with the moves her Pokemon knew.

For quite a while now, Stryke and Harriet had been sparring with each other. Because he knew Stryke was more experienced, Anthony had decided to let the scyther handle himself and command Harriet in the mock battle. Surprisingly, it had gone quite well for Harriet, with her being able to land a few thundershocks on the speedy mantis Pokemon. "Okay, that's enough for tonight. Both of you did your best, so you can rest for now and I'll get you healed up." Anthony held up both of their Pokeballs, recalling them and clipping both onto his belt. As he was about to head inside, he noticed Lyris and her Pokemon in another area of the training grounds. "Hey Lyris! You training for your contests?"
