Homestuck RP 2

As you can tell by the title, this is the actual RP. The sign up topic can be found here. Information about the RP can be found there. Concerning the posting order, that will be decided by First Come - First Serve.

Now, until the posting order is decided, you can post in any order you want. As long as you only post one time until the posting order is settled. I think an example would help: Johnny posts, thus marking his place in the posting order. Now Joeseph posts, setting his place in the posting order under Joeseph. But, Johnny can't post until everyone else has set their places in the posting order. Hopefully that explained things well enough. That's all there is to say, so lets begin!

A silly girl lies flat on her bed, exhausted after a particilarily challenging dance rehersal. She is probably a significant character, or else she wouldn't have gotten an introduction post. Another must for a significant character is a name, but unfortunately, she is too tired to tell you what it is. You guess you'll just enter it.

Congratulations. Not even the silly girl found that close to anything that resembles something even remotely funny. You have officially hit a new low, whoever you are. You get one more try at sucking slightly less.

LYRA WOLFFE

Moving on, your name is LYRA, and your bed is starting to tempting you into falling asleep. You quickly snap out of it, though, as it would be terribly rude for you not to be awake during your introduction! You're 14 years old, and you have a variety of INTERESTS. As previously hinted at, you love DANCING, and you consider yourself to be PRETTY GOOD AT IT. Your appetite for SNACKS is rather large, especially if it's THE EXOTIC SORT. You tend to find real life REALLY BORING, and love to escape into a world of FANTASY. You also have a love for FAUNA, particularily of the MYTHOLOGICAL KIND. You've been having some WEIRD DREAMS in a GOLDEN CITY lately, and you can't help but feel like the game you're about to play with your friends has something to do with it.

Your chumhandle is whimsicalMythologist, and you're currently reaching down to grab your laptop from underneath your bed. Opening it, you notice four people online. You always find it difficult to decide which chum to pester first, especially when you're excited. Which you are now, for obvious reasons. Your long-awaited copy of SBURB arrived in the mail today, together with some of your brother's boring politics books, and you can't wait to play it! ...You still have no idea who to pester, though...

Back to this kid. It's about time for you to get your rear in gear. You walk over to your computer and begin to boot it up. It takes a couple minutes, but eventually your computer lights up. That familiar grassy field fills up the background. But now is not the time to get distracted with the beautiful earth. You've got a game to play with your pals. You and your chums have been waiting for this game, Sburb, for a rather long time now. Perhaps a chat with these friends would do you good. You open up pesterChum, seeing that everyone else is online. Getting everyone together sounds like a good idea.

As if on cue, all of your friends slowly come online, one by one. Of course, your Pesterchum is set to make noise when someone comes online, and it startles you from your anticipation. You grin and scoot your chair over to the laptop on your desk, but your chair is on of the ones with the wheels. Instead you bump into the desk and start rolling around your room.

Not that you mind or anything.

.. ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH OF THAT.

After a couple of minutes, you roll back to your desk ( wheee~ ) and see that someone started pestering you before you could, and you are invited to a memo. You click the acceptance of the memo and reply to your pals.

Your chumhandle is leaffallSoprano and it looks like your other friends have all come online. One of them, Iria, is messaging you. You decide to reply.

After messaging your friend you realise that Will has invited you into a memo. You guess this is a much easier way to talk to your friends rather than using individual chats.

Show Memo:

You are now the SAD SACK again. Oh, it looks like your mind was made up for you. A memo also seems to have appeared.

Plopping down on your bed, rustling the bunch of CDs, you open the message from HF and type up a message to her.

Pesterchum CA:

You pause your hand, glancing out the window. If you hadn't already made plans, you would be out exploring the dense forest of evergreens around your block. GRAMMA and the cat used to show you the paths, and while you get lost nowadays, you always seem to make it back alright before day breaks again. Still haven't found that blasted cat, too. Where could he have gone?

Missing family cats aside, you open the memo and type a bit, just to let them know you're awake.

That's enough for now. GOOD ENOUGH. You open a new tab in your browser to start looking up some useful information on this weird game other than "it's a realistic you play in REAL LIFE."

You perform a less-than-enthusiastic SAD HOP off of your bed to check out the equipment underneath, being sure not to drop your iPAD. Better capchalogue your adventuring tools. No use in letting your friends down now.

As you notice everyone message back you are happy because you have no life. I mean seriously, you gain happiness from a bunch of people on the internet. Anyways you check all their replies and type replies of your own.

You realize Will sent you all a memo, but decide to finish up your posts.

As you respond to the memo you realize something. The cookies are almost done!

You quickly run to the kitchen and open the oven, and take them out. After waiting a few minutes for the cookies to cool, you capalog the cookies for later use.

After pondering over who to pester for a while, you decide to solve it in the best possible way: iny-miney-miney-moe. However, just as you're about to say "moe", you notice that a memo has been opened! Forget about individual pestering, this is so much better! You grin like an idiot and proceed to open the memo.

As you prepare to exit your room, you grab your trusty BO STAFF, and allocate it to your STRIFE SPECIBUS. You also captchalogue your CELLPHONE PLUS GRYPHON CHARM, like you said you would, and also a package of SALTY SEAWEED STRIPS. You'd hate to game on an empty stomach, after all. The last thing you grab before leaving the room is your favorite GRYPHON PLUSHIE, AQUILA, because she's just too huggable not to.

((By the way, Will's colour is #000066. That's [colour=#000066][/colour]. Without the "u"s of course.))

But you still need to get your copies of Sburb as well. The mail man usually delivers right to your house. You decide to exit your room, and go get the game.

You then walk into the Living Room. The walls are painted a light brown, and the floor is covered in a rug. The rug has the face of an eagle printed on it. A variety of swords and axes are perched up on the walls, with the occasional shield or spear. Most of them aren't sharp enough to cut anything, and the ones that can have protective glass cases. Whether it's to protect the weapon or it's inhabitants, you'll never know. A regular couch and TV are also in the room. There are two doors. One that leads to the kitchen, and the door that goes out of the apartment. And as luck would have it, the Sburb copies have been slid through the mail slot! You retrieve the copies, and hurry back into your room.

((Also, I think it would be better if we didn't keep copying the PesterLog over and over, as it would get very large and hard to add the colours and such. So perhaps each time Will posts, we copy his post and go from there? An example is in order.))

You don't need to get anything. The disc arrived today, and it is sitting patiently by the lamp on your desk. As you wait for your friends, you pet Ava and wonder how all of this will turn out. It is said that the game could alter reality itself, but at the same time it could kill you. You glance at the package.

Could that small disc really alter reality and cost all of your lives..?
