Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Roleplay

Evan walked on a small island a bit southeast of Skyloft, thinking. "What to do?" He liked this island, it wasn't a very active one and nearly no one knew about it but some of his friends. It was more peaceful than Skyloft.

Evan quickly went to kick at Adri's thigh to knock her down but he quickly stopped himself and instead went to grab her blade and twist it from her hand. He pushed her away and jumped back. He had both weapons. Adrianna was defenseless but Evan can't let his guard down. "I got your weapon. Now what?"

Adri mock gasped. "Oh no, you took my weapons! What should I do?" She pretended to faint, one hand on her forehead. Then she laughed. "As if I'll stop there! Get ready, because the fight ain't over." The girl bent down lower into a battle stance, her legs apart from her and fists clenched. "I can't promise I won't give you a black eye, though," she smirks. Then she suddenly runs toward him, but at the last minute she stops and hops back, then hops forward and kicks him just as fast. She was quite unexpected.

Elial chuckled as soon as Evan made the mistake of underestimating Adrianna again. This fight was a clash of wills and neither side would quit. Adrianna's form in unarmed combat was quite exemplary. Elial herself was the best unarmed combatant in the academy though. This was mostly due to everyone focusing on sword play more than their natural 'weapons'. Elial knew however one needed to be prepared for anything.

Evan quickly recovered as he was kicked. He took his shield of his arm and threw it like a Frisbee at Adri. He used it as a distraction and rolled behind her and put attempted to put her in a choke. "Unarmed combat eh? You're a grade ahead of your current class then." They learnt unarmed combat in the rank. Evan excelled in combat and strategy while he lacked in the rest.

Adri looked confused as he threw his shield practically across the room, and she watched in amusement as it clanged to the ground. She fell for the distraction, yes, but was still alert and ready when Evan choked her. She stuck her tongue out and pretended to die. "I consider myself a little better then average, but I'm not stuck up. I can do different moves," Adri began to swing - yes, swing. Kick-your-legs-back-and-forth-to-go-up swing - in his grip.

".. like this!" The girl swung forward and kicked Evan in the stomach/chest, knocking him down and getting free. She took advantage of this moment and reclaimed her sword and shield, then hopped back, resuming her battle stance. She wasn't totally serious, but Adrianna was calm now. "Your move."

(CAUSE WE CHECK IT DAILY FFFFFFFFFF)

The battle was definetely being dragged out at this point and all it seemed to achieve is tiring out the two fighters. Elial looked to Instructer Eagus and saw he thought the same. He whistled to stop them and spoke. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, but you two are pretty evenly matched. Lets call it a tie for now." Elial smiled and grabbed a towel, tossing it to Adrianna. "I have something to tell you. Meet me in the mess hall, they have pumpkin soup today."

"Pumpkin Soup... Nah, I'm just gonna go and let the talk and go have a sammich! some other soup or something." Evan picked up his items and put them in his training bag which he hung up in the back of the training hall. Evan went towards the door and stopped. "Good fight by the way Adri." He continued out the door. "Maybe I can go and get some sleep." He wasn't used to sleeping in a bed at his parents. He mostly camped out at the island he stays at. "Eh... actually I'm gonna go take a nap on the island. It's more peaceful." Ed got on his loftwing and took off towards the island.

Adri smiled as Eli tossed her the towel, catching it. "Alright. And good game, Evan. Don't stay asleep for too long." the girl smiles, walking towards the exit after putting away her weapons. Adrianna waved to the both of her friends and said thanks to Eagus, deciding to take a quick stroll before she met Elial.

The sun shone as Adri walked outside, almost following Evan because they were going the same way watching as Evan flew off. Adrianna decided to stay on ground, and began walking around the floating island. She remembered Elial and Eagus whispering to each other, and as she strolled around admiring nature, she began to ponder on what it was Eli wanted.

After a moment of thinking Adri remembered Eli was waiting for her, and ran to the Academy, dashing into the Mess Hall. Others were just sitting down and the room was lively. Adrianna glanced around for Elial, scanning the crowd. "Eli?" she called, raising her voice a bit to be heard in the crowd.

Elial had headed to the mess hall and had fresh pumpkin soup made for Adrianna and her. By the time her friend came, Elial had a spot and a bowl of soup waiting for her. "Over her!" Once her friend sat down, Elial grabbed an ID card from her leg pouch to pass to Adrianna. "I'm sure you heard of that new set of ruins on the surface. It took some doing and some favors, but I got us passes to go explore it... but there are a few ground rules." Elial put her serious face on to make sure Adrianna paid close attention. "First, you have to stay with me. Buddy system. Second, three fourths of any rupees we find go to the school since they allow us to do this. Last, we will be having a random student coming with us. Make sure to play nice, alright?"

Evan was flying through the sky and landed on the island he usually stays at. He decided to let his loftwing go off and fail like Eli's did and get injured while trying to impress others have some fun flying around. Evan laid on his back staring at the sky. He sighed. "I wonder what the world is like below... Most likely like the islands but without all the... You know... Open space." Ed rolled over and looked over the edge. There was still the three entrances from when Link was there. "Eh, what are the odds I'd go." Little did he know... The odds were 0.00000000000000003... Rounded.

Adri trotted to her waiting friend, saying hellos to anyone she knew that passed by. She sat down next to Eli and grinned. The smile turned to a surprised look as Elali brought out the ID and gave it to her. "We're going to the surface?!" Adrianna squealed.

The plan she had wouldn't have to be used, and she wasn't going to keep all the rupees, but at least she could go without getting in trouble. Adri debated telling Eli her old plan, but decided against it and simple nodded. "When are we going? Today?"

Elial shook her head. "No, not today. Tomorrow morning at ten we take our dive into the Eldin Volcano area. A path was cleared to an area that looks like an ancient graveyard. I was put in charge, so please don't get into trouble. You are my responsibility." Elial got a piece of paper and a pen out, drawing an eye with a single tear coming out of it. "This symbol was on the door. It is supposed to represent the Sheikah, servants of the goddess Helia before she was reincarnated. Imagine the history and stories there we could uncover. It might lead to more discoveries and information."

Evan was still laying there. He sighed. "What to do..." He opened his eyes to find his loftwing was standing there. "Hello There" Evan got up and looked at his loftwing."Hungry aren't you? Yeah I could use some food myself. Come on, let's head to the cafeteria at the academy. Maybe we'll get some soup." Evan was actually a fan of pumpkin soup, he just didn't want to join the others as he respected their privacy and if they needed to talk, he figured they needed to talk alone. He got on his loftwing and flew to the academy again.

Adri groaned as soon as Eli said "No, not today". She wanted to go right then and there, and sighed. She watched as her friend drew the symbol and curiously tilted her head. "Really?!" she squealed, excited once more. She had already finished her soup ( yes, already. ) and was excused to give it to the dishwasher.. person. She honestly never paid attention to the staff that much, but as Adri was returning to the table she saw Evan heading in.

"Hey!! Evan!!" she called, waving at him brightly. She then pointed to where Elial was sitting as if to say "go sit there". Adri hurriedly ( in case he wanted to race there or something ) returned to Eli and sat down again, telling her friend that Evan was coming. "Speaking of students," Adri looked at Eli, "do you know the random student who's coming?"

"Its Evan you silly head!I dunno who is being chosen. But anyway, I wanna keep this trip under wraps. If we go spreading around... or bragging..." She gave Adri a look, the girl being a little of a bragger. "...Then we may get animosity from everyone else. So please, don't tell anyone. We'll be called to the headmaster's office tomorrow for final details and to receive our equipment. I'll make sure to pack a couple heart potions and stamina potions on the side. Its good to be prepared."

Once Even sat down, Elial smiled to Evan, but before she could say hello, a student jogged over and handed an envelope to him. "I was told to give this 'ere envelope to you. From 'eadmaster himself, seal and all." The kid ran off as quick as he came, Elial speaking after he left. "Hmm, the headmaster doesn't usually send out messages to students. What does it say Evan?" Elial could goes it might be the news that he was the third member of the groupIt was, I called it!, but they wouldn't know until he opened it.
