Evan walked on a small island a bit southeast of Skyloft, thinking. "What to do?" He liked this island, it wasn't a very active one and nearly no one knew about it but some of his friends. It was more peaceful than Skyloft. |

| "I feel like I'm a prize gonna be killed after this." Evan sighed. "Oh god what if Adri won? She's a bit crazy... No offense of course!" Evan was nearly scared at the thought. "However much I don't like fighting, I guess I'll face the winner." |

| Eagus laughed. "It's alright, don't worry about it. These two were just finishing up," the two other students looked a bit tired but determined, and the one on the left scored the last goal. As they finished up, Adrianna grinned. "You're gonna take both of 'em? Ain't that fair of you." She playfully stuck her tongue out. Just as she was decided to snatch/grab/take one of the daggers, she paused. Her mind started to drift off and think what it would be like to face a real monster. It would be awesome, but Adri saw herself losing. She needed to train, and a lot.
Of course, down at the Surface it was said that some more monsters then usual had popped up, and if her plan worked, she could train against them. Unlike Elial, she was going to break the rules.. again. Adri snapped out of her happy daydream. "Are you ready, Eli? 'Cause I'm not gonna go easy on ya." Adrianna devilishly grinned. |

| Elial stretched and smirked at Adrianna as she readied. "I hope not, I never hold back on you after all. Remember, try to outthink and outmanuver your opponent." Elial circled the room, facing Adrianna as she did. This would force Adrianna to do the same. "Wait for the perfect moment... and strike!" Elial suddenly dashed forward, one blade over and one under her. Elial was attacking while a training log was positioned behind Adrianna. She would have to try to block/evade the two attacks targeted high and low or dodge to the side while blocking/counter-attacking. The former seemed better for Elial, but really had more risk if Adrianna stabbee with her longer arms. The latter would have Elial following with a knock away blow to prevent attack, a trip at the ankles to off balance her friend, then the arm opposite of Adrianna going to stab at the heart. A manuver performed in moments. However, it was Adrianna's move. Time to see what she did. |

| Evan was talking to another student. "Yeah they're good. I haven't practiced in a while however." Evan doesn't like fighting but that doesn't mean he's not good. He was one of the best student in training class. Almost as how Eli was the best in her classes. Evan sorta felt like a mix of Adri and Eli but with a bit of his own. Good at some classes and a bit reckless at times. However he had his own personality. Their's mixed in or not. |

| Adri had picked out a more offensive choice, clutching a wooden blade ( one that never hurt much, perfect for practice and her favorite ) and clutched a shield as well, grinning as Eagus shook his head and smiled. "Yeah, yeah. Gimme a challenge and we're all good," She slightly smiled, getting into a position where she could easily block with her shield and attack with the blade. Adrianna's eyes didn't stray from Elial, keeping watch for any movements at all. As soon as Elial attacked, Adri ducked, causing Eli to hit the wooden log instead. Instead of offense, though, Adrianna quickly ran to the side, circling Eli instead.
Adri circled Eli slowly, this time thinking of all the movements she could make. She was thoughtful at first, but as soon as she made a move, her "instincts" would make her use some reckless moves, sometimes even adding a kick or tripping the opponent or something. Adrianna gripped the wooden blade, then glanced at the wooden logs around. She was reminding herself of the techniques, and decided to go with a thrust. Adri approached Elial carefully, slightly smiling. " 'Wait for the perfect moment... " Adrianna imitated the words of Elial, causing her to smirk mischievously, before suddenly she ran around Eli, making a full spin, going both counter-clock wise and clockwise before stopping at her back. ".. And strike!!' " Adri thrust the blade forward, attempting to hit Eli's back successfully.

| Sadly, Elial had expected a tactic like this. Adrianna was a bit obvious with her tells. The look she gave the 'thrust log' made it all too obvious what she planned. So Elial played along and pretended to fall for Adrianna's tactic. When stabbed at, Elial ducked low under the sword. This was the critical moment. While over extended due to throwing her weight into a missed attack, Adrianna had surrendered two advantages. She had half balance and could only defend the side her shield was on. Any evation was impossible or make her fall. Falling would put Elial's quick style great opportunity to strike, even if Adrianna fell on her. If Adrianna hesitated or simply decided not to fall, Elial would follow with a sweep at her unprotected side, make her fall, then strike. A tightly woven strategem. However, Elial was weary that Adrianna would get out of it. So she was ready to defend herself. |

| Evan was watching the fight. He knew it was going to be over soon so he got out his training gear, a wooden sword and a Detachable Shield. "Well this is an interesting fight." Evan was wondering who would win. He predicted that Eli had a better tactical area but Adri had more of an Aggressive area making Eli's tactic planning time shorter. |

| Adri flailed her arms a bit, trying to keep balance before laughing at herself and jumping to the side once more. She paused for a moment, regaining her composure before suddenly gripping the blade and dashing forward. She went all offense, aiming the sword towards her heart but in different directions. She had a small smirk the entire time, holding the shield close. After missing a couple of times ( most hit her somewhere, but the goal to win a match now was the heart but not actually kill them ) but hitting her, Adri suddenly ( and quickly ) lowered down and kicked Elial's legs, making the girl fall.
Adrianna aimed the blade close to Eli's heart, pretending to be serious( "Serious" is hard to find in Adri's vocabulary ). "Any last words?" Adri grinned at her friend. Adrianna was reckless in battle and such, but she was a good sport and always gave the other a chance. Which usually meant in a tie or them winning, but she didn't mind. One of those times was now, in this small battle. It was now a bit past noon and the window poured in sunlight, lighting the room up, making the battle a bit more..
Awesome, in a way.

| Elial chuckled and pushed the training blade away from her before rising. "Guess you are adapting to my usual strategies. Even if you act impulsive, your balance is much better. I'll keep that in mind next match." She looked over at Evan as she continued. "I guess its 'crazy girl' vs new guy now. You two have fun." Elial stood by the instructor, talking to the man. "Sir, did you get those things I asked for?" He nodded, whispering to her. The words exploration and could be heard if one listened closely. "Right, I'll keep that in mind." |

| Evan facepalmed. If Adri was a bit too insane he may end up injured. Even a skilled swordsman can't stand against an crazy fighter. New guy? Evan was in the higher class that's why they never saw him. He had a few more techniques. Adri hadn't ever faced him yet so she won't know what to expect. Evan walked to the center and got his sword ready. He decided to clamp on his shield. "Okay, let's do this." |

| Adri laughed. "I'm not all that crazy. Reckless, maybe, but not insane, aha." She grinned at Evan as he walked forward. Time to put my skills to the test, the girl thought, brushing away a strand of hair out of her face. "Come at me, Evan. I'm going all-out on you!" Adri positioned herself into a battle combination once more and smirked. Her words were true - at least, they were going to be.
She clutched the blade and the shield tighter, not letting go in even the last match. Her determination was shining once more, and she was waiting for the first move. Inside her head as Evan was thinking(?), Adri pondered over the whispers of Elial and Eagus. Normally she would sneak over and eavesdrop, but she was a bit busy right now.

| Elial watched as the two took position and readied for battle. Adrianna was a skilled combatant, something Elial knew from first hand experience. Though impulsive, her instinct in battle was well honed and a grear advantage. However, Adrianna had not ever face Evan. From his posture and stance as well as how relaxed he seemed, one could deduce he was well trained. How well was to be determined. Time to see how the two matched up. |

| Evan circled, he went to strike on the right but quickly switched and hit on the left hip. He then jumped back to avoid a counter. "New guy though? I'm not new." Evan decided to stop talking and wait until Adri went for an attack then sidekick her away.

| Adri laughed as soon as the blade touched her. She couldn't help it, and wasn't able to counter. She grinned, and gripped her blade harder. If she held it any tighter her knuckles would be white! "You're pretty good so far. But don't underestimate me!" Adrianna's grin turned to a smirk, and she stepped closer cautiously.
She thought for a moment, but she suddenly ( just when it seemed like she was deciding ) swung forward, barely missing Evan's heart by just a bit. Adri quickly took a step back and playfully groaned. "Shoot," She grumbled, but a smile was still on her face.
[ I'm sure most of you heard that line from a certain ninja from a certain anime. .v. ] |

| (FINALLY, PROOF MELODY EXISTS)
Evan was a pretty good combatant, very handy with a blade. Obviously he took his training very seriously. But of course, Adrianna had many tricks up her sleeve. Endurance was an advantage she always had. It was part of the reason Elial tried finishing battles quickly. Adrianna seemed to be able to keep going farther than anyone else she had seen. Though not a fast and strategic warrior like herself, Adrianna's raw battle instinct and strength of spirit were second to none. The question was... did Evan have enough of a blade proficiency skill level to overcome Adrianna's natural advantages? |
