Team Roark: Finding Murkrow

George stood by the entrance to Shadowhue, waiting for Acro. "Boy Acro is getting Slower." George was a patient type though. He'll wait.

"I don't really know." George looked at the ground then to a path on the left. "Acro! There's Murkrow!" However as Acro said earlier (Jinxed Us!) There were a few pokemon waiting for a rescue team.

A Cacturne, Swadloon, and Seedot stood over their recent victim. They glared at the rescue team, the cacturne grinned and pointed at them, tilting his hat part of him a bit as if to say farewell. The Swadloon and Seedot leaped at the two with war cries, these pokemon were serious.

Acro noticed that the Seedot was using bide, "Don't attack the Seedot!" he called, not knowing if George knew what that meant or not. The swadloon tried to use a bug bite on George, but Acro had crashed into it with a Wing Attack. He flinched a bit at the pain in his wing, he had been using his wing an awful lot lately and it was getting to him.

George looked at the three pokemon. The Cacturne seemed to act like their leader. George knew he'd be strong to beat so he prepared a plan. "Acro knock them into the Cacturne!" George yelled as he used a sonic boom on the swadloon sending it flying towards the Cacturne.

Acro acknowledged George's call by using quick attack on the seedot, he didn't want to use a full out attack on the seedot that was storing power in case it attacked them. The seedot and swadloon collided with each other, but the cacturne had twirled out of the way. It encouraged it's minions to get back up and fight. The two pokemon groaned in pain as they rose but stood firm, not eager to let the two hurt their master.

"These two don't wanna give up..." George smiled at for a moment, he thought of something. "But hey that Cacturne's gotta be a coward to not fight us up close himself." George wasn't usually mean but right now was a time he needed to get rid of the Cacturne. He hoped Acro would be able to see his plan. "Cowards will be cowards though..."

The cacturne glared at them and pointed at them again. The swadloon charged toward George with a bug bite. The seedot moved to tackle Acro, but got hit in the face with the archen's wing attack. It spun like a top, completely out of control and ran right into the cacturne! The cacture picked up the seedot and threw it back into the fray. Acro saw what George was doing and said, "Yeah, it's a shame to cacturnes everywhere." the cacturne grew angry but made no sigh of moving.

"Well I guess this Cacturne won't do anything after we get rid of the Seedot and Swadloon. Most likely too," George paused to avoid the swadloon and counter with a sonic boom, "weak to attack us and will probably just run." George ran up at the seedot and used another sonic boom sending it back at the cacturne. Like a game of tennis between the cacturne, Acro, and George.

The seedot cried in terror as it was used as a tennis ball. It had an idea and used bide as the Cacturne knocked it back towards Acro.

Acro had an idea and used win attack on it, dealing massive damage. He knocked it back to George and said, "Hit it back to cacturne with a strong attack, but don't KO it just yet! Bide doubles damage delt and it hits the closest pokemon to the user. You get what I mean?"

The cacturne heard nothing of their exchange over the Seedot's cries.

Given the Seedot was already dealt almost all it's health in Bide George thought it was pretty set and didn't think he would keep it awake and conscious if he hit it. George just threw it. Anything can throw stuff. He though while he remembered Magikarps. Oh yeah... Forgot. 'Well then cacturne your move..." George said trying to distract it long enough for bide to activate.

The cacturne was confused by the buizel's words, the buizel was making it seem more like a game than anything. The cacturne caught the seedot, only to have it strike at his face! The cacturne dropped the seedot and recovered a bit from the attack, it grew angry at it's minion and threw it into a tree where it slid to the ground, KO'd.

The swadloon kept to the sidelines while it's master engaged battle.

Acro screeched as he launched himself at the cacturne and used wing attack. He hit it but was hit with poison sting in return. He plucked the stinger out of his wing and luckily wasn't poisoned.

George ran up also but instead behind the swadloon. He used a sonic boom on it by surprise and sent it flying into the Cacturne K.Oing the swadloon and doing a tiny bit of damage to the cacturne. Not enough to make a difference unless it was used as a distraction.

The cacturne bellowed at George in anger as he shoved his minion off of him. He was about to use a mega drain when he was hit in the head by a wing attack. Acro was hit with a tackle from the cacturne. He was flung behind George and struggled to get up, he felt his strength drain as his ability activated. He felt his strength drain even more when vines wrapped around his body and drained life from him, it was leech seed!

However glad George was that he didn't get hit by a grass move, sank as he learnt Acro was close to being Knocked Out. George had one option. (Obviously there were tons like run or fight but dramatic effect ya'know?). George ran up to the Cacturne, something in his hand, and shoved it in the cacturnes mouth as the Cacturne warped away. Hopefully to another place far away from them. George looked back at Acro. "Tripping over seeds does help." George walked over to the fallen Murkrow. "Wow, he was really beat up..." George looked at some of the marks. "But this is weird... These are burn marks. Fire types don't live here. Someone must've been out to get Murkrow. Hopefully Murkrow finds them."

Acro laughed weakly at George's comment on the seeds, "Yeah, someone must've hired those three to guard the murkrow. That or the mightyenas around here would have fire fang." Acro got up, the leech seed was still sapping his strength but now as much as it used to. He searched around his body and found the source of the vines on his tail. He picked it off and sighed in relief. He turned to George and said, "That was a close one. Pretty brave of you to run up and just stuff it in his mouth."

"It was actually easier than I thought. He was most likely wondering what I was doing to do." George walked over to the Murkrow and picked it up. "Let's get Murkrow back to Grassveil Town."
