Team Roark: Finding Murkrow

George stood by the entrance to Shadowhue, waiting for Acro. "Boy Acro is getting Slower." George was a patient type though. He'll wait.

Acro ate the pecha berry gratefully, he felt the poison be cured and disappear. He was relieved to see that the Mightyenas had decided to wait for them to make a move before doing anything else. Acro used double team again, when the female was least expecting it, he used a wing attack. The female whined in pain and roared at Acro. Acro was pushed a few feet away from the female, he had dug his claws into the ground. The male mightyena's eyes burned with hatred at Acro for hurting his loved one. He decided to get even with the archen by defeating his friend. The male ran at the Buizel and used poison fang followed by a thunder fang that had been taught to his family for generations.

George was able to jump back to avoid the poison but didn't expect a Thunder Fang to hit him right after. George was severely hurt by the Thunder Fang and fell down on his back. George was also Paralyzed. 10% chance really got him. George went to roll over and use an Aqua Tail but right as he went to get up, Paralysis got him. George was pretty Defenseless.

Acro saw that George was about to be hit with yet another Thunder Fang, so he ran at the male with a wing attack to the jaw. The mightyena screeched in pain as he also took a critical hit. The mightyna wouldn't be able to use anymore "fang" attacks now. Acro then used a steel wing on it, the mightyena was brutally sent flying into a large rock. It fell to the ground and didn't get up. The Female sniffed her partner once and then turned to glare at the two. It was about to roar at them but Acro had also hit it's jaw with a steel wing in the blink of an eye.

"What the?" George looked at Acro. "Now that was just crazy.... Why don't you fight like that more?" George got back up and hit the female with a Sonic Boom. It was K.Oed "Well then... That was eventfu-" George was suddenly affected by Paralysis.

Acro shrugged, "I don't know, I just don't like it when my friends are about to be killed."Acro walked over to the defeated female mighteyna's body and untied the scarf. He put it on him and took off his purple scarf, he felt like his body was now more sturdier and that he could take more hits. He noticed that George was paralyzed and said, "Walk it off, it'll wear out sooner."

"I think it's already gone now. Wasn't that strong..." George looked around. "So back to finding Murkrow." George started walking then stopped. "I think you should lead Acro. I'm a little weak at the moment."

"Ok." Acro understood since he was hit by an electric move, "That was pretty impressive though, that mightyena knew poison and thunder fang. I wonder how he got them." Acro waited for George to answer or voice his opinions. Acro wondered if he was in fact stronger than the buizel despite having a type disadvantage to the buizel's water type.

George thought for a moment. "Maybe they had a good teacher." George looked ahead. He was never hurt this much. Now he sorta wanted to head back but they were already at least halfway there.

"Did the murkrow give his exact location? How did he even get the message to the bulletin boards anyways?" Acro didn't want to have an weird silence, he wished George would contribute to the conversation more. Acro would feel insanely bored if they did nothing but walk around, and fight anything that came into their path. He felt his escape orb just to make sure he had brought it with him, he felt safe knowing that they had an emergency exit if things came to the worst.

"Well maybe Murkrow had a friend but couldn't help them out." George looked behind them. "I wonder what those Mightyenas are gonna do when they wake up."

"Who knows, track us down for revenge most likely. If not they'll probably find something else weaker and cause yet another outlaw notice on the bulletin boards." Acro looked back in the direction of the mightyenas, "I just hope we're out of here before they wake up. I wonder if they're the reason Murkrow was defeated, after all the male had a nasty thunder fang that you had a taste of."

George flinched at the thought of being hit again with a thunder fang. "Well at least you didn't get hit. Defeatist could've really taken you down." George reached in his bag. "We might be able to use this warp seed worst comes to worst. Only take out one though."

"Yeah, if we get separated because of that, how about we meet back up where we defeated the mightyenas? You know, since the see can only warp one pokemon." Acro waved his tail a bit as he walked, he didn't notice that his tail was waving until he knocked it into an item. He picked it up and gave it to George, not bothering to see what it was, "You have it since I got the defense scarf."

George took the Cherri Berry. "So now you want to show up..." George sighed. He could've used this earlier. George put it in his bag. Maybe he'll find a use if he gets paralyzed again. Not like he can really take another electric attack.

"That might be useful, we might run into a pokemon with a move like thunder wave or stun spore." Acro tugged at his scarf a bit, making it a bit more comfortable. It felt awkward suddenly changing scarfs, he looked to George and said, "We also have to find you a good hold item too. They really come in handy a lot. Like the defense scarf will protect me from attacks and my ability wont activate as much. What kind of item do you think is best for you?"
