A More Adventurous Trip Back

George stood at the entrance of the cave waiting for Acro to catch back up. "Come on Acro!" George yelled over.

Acro held up the item and squinted at it, he laughed and said, "How in the world did you manage to trip over a warp seed? A SEED!" Acro laughed even more and handed the item to George. He finally stopped and said, "It's so dark in here that we can't even see what's in front of our feet!" Acro's tail waved slightly as he looked around some more. He spotted two forms that looked much like pokemon! He attacked it instantly only to find they were just rocks. His wing hit the solid rock, he cried out in pain and held his wing. It wasn't too badly injured, but a shape of a pokemon in the distance darted toward them, it grew bigger and bigger as it split into two!

"Well it's not like you ever fell a lot." George got up just to see a Golbat hanging down in front of him. "Ah!" George crawled away from the pokemon, he noticed a Charmander behind the Golbat. "Acro, I'll take the charmander you take the Golbat..."

Acro began running around the golbat, he became so fast the copies of himself remained. The golbat looked around in confusion, trying to determine which was which. The golbat grew frustrated and used bite on the closet archen. It was Acro that was hit, he cried out in pain as the golbat bite his wing and nearly swallowed him whole. He tried to shake off the golbat, but it only clung tighter. He used his other wing to hit it with a Steel Wing, it didn't do very much damage but Acro kept hitting it again and again until it finally let go. He dragged his injured wing with him as he set up another double team. The golbat tried to use confuse ray, but it only hit a double. It grew frustrated again as more and more doubles appeared, it used screech, the echoes of the cave bounced the sound all around the place, even effecting his fellow charmander. The ceiling rumbled and a dust fell from the ceiling. Acro attacked the golbat once more with steel wing only to miss.

George's ears were ringing from the screech. He regained his mental state and ran up to the Charmander and hit him with an Aqua tail, doing major damage. George quickly used the advantage of the rocks to jump back at the charmander and go for a second hit but the charmander used scratch and stopped George.

The golbat hit Acro with astonish, Acro was sent flying back into George. He got up and felt his power draining once more, 'Again?' he thought in despair. The golbat charged at the two, trying to used another astonish on both and going for a kamikaze. Acro shoved George out of the way and leaped out of the way. The golbat crashed into a pillar that supported the ceiling, the ceiling rattled one more and dirt fell from it. Acro attacked the Golbat with a quick attack and sent it rushing toward the charmander, which leaped high in the air to avoid his comrade, it was defenseless now.

George quickly ran, jumped on top of the Golbat hopping over it and Using another Aqua Tail on the Charmander. K.Oing it. "Acro! The Iron Spike!" George said while the golbat knocked him back.

Acro didn't hear George after another loud screech, he climbed the wall and leaped onto the back of the golbat. The golbat was silenced and smashed into the floor. Acro dove at it, using solely gravity, and used another steel wing. The golbat cried out in pain and shook Acro off, he used confuse ray on George. It hoped that during his confusion the buizel would mistake his partner as an enemy and use a water move on the archen.

George got confused by the Confuse ray. George didn't want to hurt Acro but he could've swore he saw the Charmander get back up. "No It's just my imagination!"

Acro was hit by another astonish, the golbat fled into the cover of darkness. He would rather wait for the buizel to finish off his dinner, then he could take down the buizel with ease. Acro searched around, squinting and searching for the golbat. He hadn't known that his friend was confused, he decided it would be better to be with George. He dashed toward George, unaware that he could've looked like anything coming in for the attack.

George accidently hit Acro with a sonic boom, thinking it was the golbat coming back at him. "Ah!" George snapped out of confusion and saw Acro lying there. "I hit you didn't I?"

"I'm ok...i guess." Acro picked himself up from the ground and said, "He's still around here somewhere.." he looked around trying to see the golbat.

The golbat growled in frustration and charged at the two, it was trying to use astonish again! It charged, full speed, straight into a steel wing of Acro's doing. It heard a shout come from the Archen, "George finish it!" the golbat released a screech in hopes to delay it's inevitable defeat.

George used an Aqua Tail to hit the Golbat before he could do anything. "Gotcha!" George then knocked him into a rock K.Oing it. "Well that was eventful..." George said taking a breather.

Acro was breathing hard, "Yeah, and hard. We should probably rest for a while before continuing." Acro sighed in relief and sat down, like he would in a nest. He wondered if there was many more pokemon like this in the cave, "Most likely." he said aloud, "This is going to be a rough trip!"

George took the Warp seed from the bag. "This is a bit bad..." George looked at Acro. "I have ONE warp seed. What if were both in serious danger? Who uses it?"

Acro thought for a moment, "You should, it's your item." He felt much better after a rest, he asked, "We should keep going, sticking around here will only lead to more pokemon coming. You feel ready yet?" The archen looked at his partner, awaiting a response.
