The Beginning of a Long Voyage

Izumi stood at the entrance to the Black Spiral Staircase early one peticular morning, her medium-sized treasure bag hanging from her neck as per usual. The Black Spiral Staircase lead straight to the very peak of Black Mist Mountain, the place she and her sister Tsukishiro called home. She and her sister were leaving for a new town that day, but first Izumi wanted to procure a certain item from the mountain's peak. The Black Mist's most sacred and valuable treasure. Or, in any case, it was valuable to them. Izumi had no clue how much the item was actually worth, she wasn't even sure if it existed. But she was sure as heck she was going to find out. She waited patiently for her sister to join her at the gaping entrance to the inside of the mountain.

"I can't tell what kind it is, but it's definetly an orb." Izumi mused as she observed the blue spherical item. "We should take it with us, it could be helpful." 

Tsukishiro nodded but continued to look at the orb. She was intrigued by what properties it could have and what it could be used for. She picked it up in her mouth before dropping it into Izumi's bag as she didn't have one herself.
"It might come in handy at some point!" smiled Shiro before she began walking onwards again.

Izumi grinned at her little sister as she began to pick up their trail. "I can't wait to find out what's waiting for us at the peak. I hear a lot of dubious stuff happens up there!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Tsukishiro nodded, "I heard that a lot of creepy Ghost types live up on the peak too..."
She frowned all of a sudden, but kept walking as she spoke, "I hope they don't decide to attack us like that Bisharp did..."

Izumi started sniffing the air again and tensed up a little bit as she walked. "I get the feeling he wasn't the only one. Looks like some other guests aren't too happy with us being here." she growled quietly as she glared into the darkness that was surrounding them. "Stay close. I have a feeling we have a new opponent." she alerted her little sister.

Shiro could suddenly feel some form of tension in the air. She stayed close to her sister, just as Izumi had instructed, but she was constantly keeping her senses alert for any signs of enemy Pokemon. It wasn't long before she had to stop as their path was blocked by a Sableye.

Izumi glared at the Sableye, who just stared back with a blank expression. "So, you're gonna stand in our way?" Izumi growled. She started to take a step forward, but the Sableye got up into her face so fast he became almost invisible. The two stared each other down, neither making an offensive move.

Tsukishiro blinked at the Sableye's speed. She ended up rolling her eyes at the apparent stare off that the two Pokemon were having. Her claws once again glowed a pale white colour before she swiped at the Sableye from the side.

The Sableye darted away from Tsukishiro's Scratch attack, and Izumi used the opening to swipe at him with her own scratch attack. It was in vain, however, as she could only put a mark on the purple Pokemon. The Sableye then kept at Tsukishiro, using its own Scratch attack.

Tsukishiro watched as the Sableye dodged her move before only just dodging Izumi's too. She quickly dodged the Sableye's Scratch attack and countered once again with her own Scratch. It seemed that this battle was almost stalemate whilst the moves remained similar. After her Scratch, she used Feint, the scythe on her head glowing as she moved in to strike.

The Sableye launched another Scratch attack, oeaving him vunerable for a moment. In this moment, Izumi charged and launched her Megahorn attack at a close distance, hoping that she would at least do some damage to his left side.

With both the incoming Feint and Megahorn attacks, the Sableye was left with no way to dodge. Instead it used Sucker Punch, throwing a cheap shot at Tsukishiro before avoiding the Megahorn. A strategic Pokemon indeed.
Tsukishiro hadn't expected the move and so hadn't been able to dodge it. Her Feint attack failed and she used her claws to stop herself from being pushed back too far by the move. It didn't take her long to recover and dive in for another Feint attempt.

Izumi frowned when her Megahorn missed, and was enraged by the Sableye's cheap shot at her sister. She charged up another Megahorn, this time pushing her limits and making it stringers with her rage, and dashed right at the Sableye with no fear or regret.

The Sableye attempted to use it's Sucker Punch strategy again, but Tsukishiro was ready for it this time. Both her Feint and Izumi's Megahorn got direct hits and the Sableye was soon reduced to lying on the ground with little strength left to fight. Izumi's Megahorn was a rather powerful move.

Tsukishiro stepped back from where the Sableye lay. She was still rather calm but blinked and sighed in relief now that it was over. She had taken some damage from their opponent's Sucker Punch move but she seemed to ignore it in favour of moving on.

"How are you feeling?" Izumi panted as she walked over to her sister after the battle ended. She had come out relatively unscathed, but this time her sister had gotten hurt.
